Reading Part 6. Inner Light. #6 "Their MAN, to the tastes of SAG themselves, which are not clothed inside MA and BON.."

1. R. (02:07) That is clear. The Taamim of SAG cannot go below the Tabur.

Reading continues (02:16)

2. S. (04:25) That state of Nekudot of SAG, that they can connect with Behina Dalet, what is that, we've learned that there is such a an organized concatenation by the degree and then all the sudden than Bina starts connecting with Malchut it's like it's not in order, how does it connect?

R. The whole thing is that the lower half of SAG, the Nekudot of SAG, doesn't have any Reshimot of the Taamim, and he can go back below Tabur and integrate with Malchut, which is there, and from here, comes to us the second stage of the development of SAG. That SAG includes two parts of it, it has the qualities of Keter, that it doesn't want anything for itself, and it has the quality of the will to receive, the Malchut, and that is why in the upper part of SAG, the Keter is in control and then he can actually be in any place because it's expanding from above downwards, and in the second half of the SAG, there, there are already desires to receive and that is why he is prohibited from going down below the Tabur. And that is what divides the SAG into two.

S. What does it mean that these two degrees mingle and mix, how can you describe this that Bina can somehow mix with Malchut?

R. Good question, why do they connect? They connect because they have one goal, they want to fulfill the vessels and through them, by that action to bestow. The Bina cleans the vessels and purifies them from the will to receive and then the upper light can clothe in those Kelim and that is how they work together.

3. S. (07:44) In a few places we learned that the combination of relationships between AVI and YESHSUT is like GAR of Bina and ZAT of Bina, he writes here that the relationship between the Taamim of SAG and Nekudot of SAG is similar from the relations of AVI and YESHSUT, is it the same between GAR and ZAT of Bina?

R. Yes, AVI are the upper top part of the Bina, the upper half of the Bina, and YESHSUT of the lower half of the Bina.

4. S. (08:29) He talks about two kinds of coarseness, he says that phase 2 and phase 4 are together and the upper half doesn't mix with phase 4, it's called upper AVI and the lower half that mixes with the phase 4, so why does it divided into two halves?

R. There are two parts of the Bechina, the Bechina Bet and the Bechina Dalet, the second and the fourth, and it depends on which Bechina he's working on, it can be as bestowal or as reception, to receive in order to bestow, that's the quality of Bina that it's built of two, and it's in between the two, in between Keter and Malchut and that's why it has part of this and part of that.

S. What does it mean that its lower half mixes in the form of MAN below the Parsa, what is the quality of it, the will to receive?

R. Of course, the will to receive is in everyone, but it depends on what corrections they exist, all these parts.

S. This action happens by us or it comes from above?

R. No, it's not yet speaking about people, it's done by us, no we're still speaking of the desires to receive that are developing without any connection to a person.

5. S. (10:21) If you can elaborate on how when he says it mixes by way of MAN, what does that mean and what is the difference with respect to the mixing in the upper part?

R. We'll get to that soon, we'll read it.

6. S. (10:44) You said before that Malchut and Bina can connect because they both have the same goal for filling the vessels, the Malchut, she wants to receive in order to receive there or she has a different intention?

R. No the Malchut that received cannot work, here we are speaking of bestowal, otherwise it's not spirituality, it's already after the Tzimtzum, the screen, the returning light, the building of the Partzufim similar to the upper light.

S. But Malchut is the quality of reception and she's still not corrected, so still what attracts them to each other, the Malchut and Bina?

R. Malchut and Bina are both in a similar state because Bina is not one to receive, she still has the influence of the upper light and Malchut doesn't want to receive because through the influence of the upper light she is under restriction, and then there is a condition here that Bina and Malchut can connect to one another.

7. S. (12:13) Bina does not want to receive anything, where is the reception in her?

R. In Bina there is a will to bestow to the extent that it connects later, not here, but later on if it will connect with the Malchut, then Malchut will have qualities from Bina and qualities of its own from the Malchut, and then she will have the ability to receive in order to bestow.

8. S. (12:57) He divides the SAG into two parts here and he also writes that the Keter of Guf which is the first half, that it's Taamim and the lower nine, why such a division?

R. He explains that Keter doesn't belong to the Partzuf and that is why it is seemingly disconnected from it, however with the SAG, it begins immediately afterwards because he speaks of the force of bestowal that is in him, and works from the Hochma and below because it bestows with all of its vessels because it is SAG, so even Hochma of SAG is already a force of bestowal.

S. But we say that usually we talk about the GAR and ZAT, but here he talks about the lower nine Sefirot?

R. No, GAR and ZAT are not yet related here, there's not yet a division between GAR and ZAT, it's only in the Partzuf related to AK.

9. S. (14:30) I heard you say before that Bina cleanses the vessels from the will to receive, what's the condition for that?

R. When the vessel is annulled towards the quality of Bina, then the quality of Bina influences this Kli with such a desire to bestow, and that is why the will to receive, under such conditions, it is canceled, annulled, we don't see it and we don't feel it, that is what we have with the vessels that are under the influence of Bina.

Reading continues “ know that this is the division of AVI” (15:20)

10. R. (16:59) Meaning SAG is divided because it is Bina to the upper part and the lower part, the upper part is called AVI of the upper and the bottom part is called YESHSUT, why? Because it is still the will to receive, but is a will to receive that has not yet had the quality of reception revealed in it but it's entirely bestowal, and that is called AVI, and the second half, from the half of the Partzuf SAG and below, that's the will to receive that’s already revealed in this Partzuf and that is why it’s called YESHSUT. In it. the will to receive is already revealed, and that is why these two parts in the upper one of the will to receive are not revealed, and in the lower part where the will to receive is revealed, these two parts are becoming distant from one another and that is how they build the Partzuf over all the overall Partzuf called AVI.

11. S. (18:25) It's a system that you said that’s working and the man is not involved in it yet, so what does it mean?

R. Yes that's a system that's built that way, from above, but her action depends on the extent it was created and she has the upper part and the lower part, the people that want to participate in it, they participate in the lower part of the will to receive, and they never arrived to the upper part.

S. So there's the combination of the person that's involved in it?

R. Yes, It will be that way.

12. S. (19:26) I don't really understand, how do we suddenly move from studying Adam Kadmon and here he writes about AVI which is the Partzufim of Atzilut?

R. Well let’s say although AVI is not yet Partzufim of Atzilut, but Aba is called the phase of the Partzuf of Hochma and Ima is called the phase or Partzuf of Bina, and it's true that in the world Atzilut they are revealed with their intensity.

S. I just don't understand what he means here, he describes the Adam Kadmon here or he describes the principal for all the worlds?

R. This is still the world of Adam Kadmon in which the Partzufim start being revealed, the lower Partzufim, and the additional ones which are called AVI, YESHSUT, Israel, Saba and Tevuna and this is how they are beginning to be revealed.

S. So it's the process and the results that happens in SAG?

R. Yes.

13. S. (20:58) The lower part of the MAN, is that mixed with the desire to bestow in order to receive or receive in order to bestow?

R. MAN is a deficiency.

S. But it's also divided to GE and AHP, so he says the lower part of the MAN is below the screen, so what are these desires?

R. These desires of MAN, they want to rise to a higher Partzuf to be included in it, and to draw from there, what it has there, the lights, to the degree of which they came from, that is all.

S. There's a matter here because phase 4 was mingled, so the MAN is already a clarified deficiency, but here he also divides it, to the same division that was below the Tabur, so it's also in the MAN in Nikvey Eynaim, the same division so I'm asking?

R. It always goes according to the same division of Bina, GAR of Bina and ZAT of Bina, and according to that division everything is divided, because the will to receive in the upper part of the Partzuf, the will to bestow, and the will to receive in the lower part of the Partzuf, that is how they divide the world's the Partzufim, it's always that way.

14. S. I don't understand that he writes here that AVI and YESHSUT are from the Tabur to the Sium?

R. Yes.

S. So the YESHSUT spreads until the Sium?

R. Where does he write about this?

Reading again “Because they are ten Sefirot..” (23:32)

S. Until when does YESHSUT extends, if it has to cover all of Nikvey Eynaim and below?

R. Usually until the Tabur.

S. Doesn’t he speak about Tabur and below here?

R. No, not the Tabur of the Galgalta, the general Tabur and usually until the Chazeh, AVI are extended and then from the Chazeh it's YESHSUT.

Reading “Upper AVI make a coupling..” (24:39)
