Part 2:

Baal HaSulam. "Study of the Ten Sefirot" (TES). Vol. 2. Part 6. Inner Observation. Cause and Consequence. #31

Reading part 6 Inner Observation number 31(2:1) We find thirteen observations here 1. Connection of the two Heys…

1. R. (05:41) Okay these are the points along the way, now let's see what's onwards.

Reading item number 32 (05:54) “We shall explain the connection of cause and consequence in them…”

2. S. (09:30) What does the lower Hey add to the deficiency of ZON?

R. The lower Hey is the general deficiency of the whole system.

S. We know that Zon raises man, the upper Partzuf so the lower Hey it's like an addition.

R. Why is it an addition?

S. It opens the possibilities to bestow to the lower one it's doing something, it's as if it doesn't close the bestowal it opens the bestowal.

R. Yes.

S. That's what I'm asking, how does she do it?

R. She adds her desire.

S. Which is?

R. Her desire to fill the whole Kli vessel.

S. The ZON that raises man?

R. The ZON that raises man raises man as much as capable.

S. So the lower HEY is an addition to the deficiency?

R. It's a very big deficiency.

S. That deficiency comes from the upper one and?

R. The deficiency comes from the lower one that wants to awaken the upper one by that.

S. The lower HEY comes from the lower one the deficiency is what raises the perception?

R. We need to understand that here it is for the first time that we are starting to talk about the two Heys, on the one hand it's in Bina and the other hand it's in Malchut, and when they connect in a complete manner it's the end of Correction and now for the time being, it's being concealed from one and concealed from the other. Let's see.

Reading #33 (12:09) “The eighth is the place that became the three separated worlds….”

3. S. (18:46) Why is it not important what we're learning but it's important to yearn to be an Adam?

R. Because that's the purpose of creation.

S. During studying TES do we actually learn about equivalence of form again in order to be Adam?

R. Yes.

4. S. (19:39) About the screen there's no such thing that there's a permanent force on the screen it's according to the actions that we do when we are building, that's called the screen above the screen above and like this, yes Rav?

R. Yes.

S. What is the action called an exit? What does it mean in the work? Meaning exited this, mean the exited the AHP?

R. Exit although that word might be a bit it resembles, maybe manifested or showed itself.

S. Through receiving coarseness?

R. Correct.

5. S. (20:45) If we feel that, let's say I feel that I'm lost to a certain point it was clear, and now it's not clear and it seems like it won't be clear to the end of the study. What should we do with that?

R. That's nice. That now you understand that you don't understand anything.

S. The connection has been lost so is it worth going over it again or just leaving it like that, so that the surrounding light will have an impact on me as they say?

R. No, the lights still reform. It affects a person obviously according to a person's efforts that we need from within ourselves to try to come as close as we can to him, to it, to the light that reforms. Meaning, what we need to do is maximum connection between us to scrutinize the actions we're in and that the upper one wants to perform upon us and how we can participate in that action.

S. If the connection has been lost to the understanding of the material is completely lost?

R. That's not important, the Creator will finish the work for me.

S. I'm reading here already that I have one head that I'm barely getting along with, now there's two Rosh there are two heads. What is the body working according to, there are two heads?

R. The Body Works according to the Rosh of Aviut the head of coarseness and not that of the Rosh of clothing.

S. Why do we need the Rosh of clothing?

R. The Rosh of clothing gives us attainment above the Guf, the Rosh of clothing gives me a connection to what's above my Partzuf.

S. Are these two heads, these two Rosh, they work in sync between them, they are connected in some way?

R. Yes of course. They come out of the same records. Slowly, there's no such thing that I won't know and that nothing will be left, and I don't know what's going to happen, no. Even if you don't feel anything and don't learn anything if you're in it and you incorporate and you annul, then you enter that same boat and with all of us together you sail.

6. S. (24:07) But TES I heard from several friends that why are we lately reading a lot more reading and less going into the questions and answers and you truly interpreting every word and opening it whether it's a lot more just reading is there a reason?

R. No. In order to get from TES much more material for thought for feeling.

S. Also when we're reading Rabash and also the part of TES that we're reading even in the last generation that we read there's a lot of reading and then it's like from your side on your behalf it seems like only questions that you don't open anything from your initiative we want that we would read the title of Rabash article and you would open for a half hour and decipher it and now there's only question and you start.

R. Because he elaborates himself here. He elaborates. He from himself gives, he awakens a question and then he answers it.

S. There's an expectation that you will open up more in addition to what he opens with.

R. If there's a place for it, we'll do it, okay.

S. Lately you ask the readers to read much slower, is there a reason for that?

R. The articles?

S. The Rabash articles that we read for half an hour.

R. The Rabash articles I think that in them all of our actions that we need to do are Incorporated in them and all the feelings we need to feel and all of our tendencies that we need that we need to navigate ourselves through them into the connection. I don't know that's how I see Rabash.

S. Is there an importance in the slow reading in the slow reading very very slow?

R. I remember how he read it to me. When we went to Tiberius. It was really with the finger on the book he used to read word by word.

S. I'm asking because there are friends where the slow reading bothers them, it's like this inner thought, the line of thought is much faster, digests faster and that the slow reading, it bothers them to the understanding?

R. No, let them get used to stopping on every word even, and swallow it.

S. What can you feel or squeeze out of each and every word?

R. For the Rabash it's very important. For the Rabash it's very important. He saw every word he wrote as very important. If I would edit a word out of the text, he would stand guard on it, he would insist.

S. Meaning, that it was important for Rabash, also how we read his text?

R. Yes. Everything that was written, for him it was sacred. I don't know how to say it. Unchangeable. You have a direct perception, a good one.

7. S. (29:54) How does it happen that the lower Hey and the upper Hey are similar to one another and why?

R. That is like a pattern or a mold where the Upper light comes from the Creator to us Y H V H.

S. How can they be similar?

R. Because YH is Galgalta Eynaim and the VH is AHP and there's a root of YH and the result of it is VH.

8. S. (31:00) What is to annul and to be together with everyone during the reading of the TES?

R. To annul?

S. What is to read together TES?

R. Reading TES together is to try and Implement together the same spiritual accidents as Baal HaSulam wants to depict to us.

9. S. (31:40) We touched on the Rabash articles, I wanted to ask, what is this process that we're going through now where all the world Kli is reading all the Rabash articles?

R. I think that they will enter every person, every feeling, every soul, and it'll make an inner order in each and every person in a way that he threw out his life and his incarnations he won’t want to reorganize them.

S. What does this process change us meaning how will we come out of this process of reading the Rabash articles?

R. What do you mean come out?

S. Not leave the final result that will happen to us in all this going through them?

R. These articles will start manifesting in us more and more and we're going to start feeling and understanding them, they'll be more and more tangible.

S. How do you feel, how do you experience this process that we're now all your students are reading all the writings of Rabash we're going through this with you, how do you feel this?

R. I feel that it's the right action that we must take, and I think that this is what brings us to correction.

S. I'm really impressed from the writing of Rabash, that is so fine, delicate, and precise that you read and it's like it always just hits exactly. How did he write in such a way that is so precise to us?

R. From an inner feeling, from the inner feeling.

S. What did he want when he wrote what did he want?

R. That we will awaken our soul exactly according to his format.

S. Do you see today's someone that can enter into spirituality without going through this formatting that Rabash does to us through these articles?

R. It's possible without the Rabash articles but it's a more difficult way and a longer way but there are a lot of places, a lot of ways, to reach that place.

S. What's unique specifically about this path that Rabash brings us?

R. It is short, it is a path that brings a person to the demand for the correction of his soul.

10. S. (35:52) I would like to add to the friend about the taste that we're reading Rabash we're reading Rabash in many languages it's being translated to 70 language languages in Hebrew it's very mathematical and short all the translators are running after the reader all the way for example in Italian it takes almost time and a half-length meaning one word in Hebrew is a word and a half in Italian so there's constantly like chasing after the reader so we have to take that into account when the reader is reading because he reads one word and the translators are talking and time and a half that's one thing and the other thing the reader here the moment he stops the article he didn't finish with the article and then finish talking the translator continues to translate another half an hour and that also has to be taken into an account to lighten the work for him during the lesson so we have to read slower.

R. He is right. Hebrew is very short, and its language and we needed to take that into consideration and be considerate of other languages. A question from a friend who's translating.

11. S. (37:20) Is persistence and thought and prayer the same thing?

R. No, being persistent and thoughtful can be without a question mark. Simply a person is persistent in some thought, but a question is different.

S. If I constantly lose the greatness of the Creator, the goal, and the adhesion I'm trying to persist in, is that not like a prayer?

R. It could be that it is.

12. S. (38:03) There is something in the lesson that is a certain portion, a dose that we're receiving, he explained how is the study of Rabash and the study of TES how does it complement and complete one another? Is it what we receive from this combination between the two?

R. It is still a portion when you receive that once a day and you with that you go to connect with the world around you. Without it you can't perform a correction.

S. What is there in the study of TES when we read without an explanation in this study that completes or adds to what we learned from Rabash in the first hour.?

R. The studies from the first part of the lesson have to awaken a deficiency for the correction of the vessel and the study of the second part of the study has to be, it has to connect us to the vessel itself.

S. What does it mean to connect to the vessel itself?

R. That we already want to work with all the Sefirot and all parts of Partzufim in the world and the part of the Partzuf and so on.

S. I heard you say many times that when we're studying the second part not to stay in the first part. Meaning, to continue and kind of be in the second part.

R. Yes.

S. What happens when you start in the first part with a deficiency and take it into the second part?

R. Sometimes it adds that it's like they connect one upon the other and sometimes not.

13. S. (41:00) I wanted to share a little of my impression when we study TES we can learn how all kinds of opposite qualities connect together? How contradicting qualities connect us, renew us, we see this in TES the letters change. Let's say when there's a lower Hey, the upper Hey, the upper Rosh, the lower Rosh gives us the ability to understand how in our regular life there are qualities contradicted, that are opposite, how it's possible to combine between them and clothe them upon ourselves, if we talk in a very coarse manner?

R. It's called adhesion in the Torah when a person lowers his head and completely relies on what the Torah tells him. In such a case he becomes part of the Torah.

S. It's simply an impression of your students and we wanted to express what we’re learning. Thank you.

14. S. (43:10) Every Sunday we have a women's gathering, the first 20 minutes we read Rabash. This has been happening for a very long time and then we do a workshop question. Should we read the articles that we are learning in the lesson or the first Social Writings of Rabash, what is best? Every Sunday there is a women's Tens Gathering with the women from Moscow and the first 20 minutes we always read a Rabash article and then we have a workshop. What is best, what is preferred to read, the Rabash we're learning in the morning lesson or The Social Writings?

R. You need both, somehow divide it according to the hours.

15. S. (44:45) How should we prepare ourselves for reading the Rabash articles?

R. We need to understand that in the Rabash articles we have all the Torah, and he takes it from a higher degree and lowers it to our degree. That is why we receive it like something that is the best, most suitable, the most prepared for us in order to grow in order to organize ourselves to receive higher degrees. That is why there is nothing higher for us than the articles of the Rabash, that this is how we need to relate to them.

16. S. (46:10) When we study the Rabash articles together with a Ten throughout the day or to prepare for the lesson how to enter correctly into the article?

R. The main thing is to enter with your heart not with your head.

S. What does it mean to enter with your heart?

R. Enter with the heart means to open it and feel the Creator. Only then to start and do all kinds of actions, movements from your heart in order to feel closer, more adhesion with the Creator.

17. S. (47:16) How can we come closer to Rabash with our heart?

R. Only if we increase our heart through the connection of the hearts of the friends, no other way. Okay?

18. S. (48:45) You just said we talked about Rabash articles now we talked about growing our hearts, to do that we need to grow our hearts with the connections with the friends. At the end of this week we have a Convention which is Life in the Ten, all based on Rabash, which is actually the whole topic. Are you excited towards this convention?

R. I'm excited and in fear because the Creator gave us everything and are we implementing it correctly in all our forces? That's the question. I don’t know. Everything is open before us. We can now fly towards our purpose to discover on the path all the components that we need to discover and put upon us and add to us. I don't know. We must, we must be concentrated. I really hope that it will happen for us. That's it.
