Morning Lesson June 18, 2021, Transcription
1.Rav’s Introduction: Advancing by overcoming. Over what? Over the fact that the Creator, each and every moment positions before us, all kinds of obstacles. But that is untrue. He is helping us. It is like what the parents want to do with the children that they give them to do something, a little bit more each time so they will grow wiser and stronger, to understand how the world is built and they will be able to use this properly for the enjoyment of the little ones. This is how they grow. And it is the same with us. So first of all, we cannot think that whatever we have before us is something which is not for the sake of our correction. Of course, we are getting it from ‘none else besides Him’ and whatever a person discovers each and every moment, possibly, sometimes more or sometimes less, that he has certain questions and challenges, he has something in the life that is disturbing him he should nonetheless tie it to the Creator and realize that this is the form of advancement. The more he overcomes he's going forward and closing this huge gap that exists between this world and the spiritual world. The more love covers all crimes, the more that he ascribes to the Creator each and everything that there is and he overcomes, nevertheless, he ascribes it to the Creator.
This is how he advances. This is a form of advancement. Sometimes one gets fear, sometimes one gets a very big confusion from his path, from himself. And one should realize that all of these things come from the same source, from the Creator. Then by ascribing all of these things to the Creator, this is how He closes the distance that exists between him and the Creator. Especially how he starts to see how he is closing the distance between him and the friends. The more he is getting closer to them, this is the most difficult thing. It is the truest thing that we have in this world. So, by closing this distance, we reach the revelation of the Creator. This is how it happens. Therefore, for the time being, we are continuing with advancing through overcoming as the overcoming can be with each and everything. However, ascribing it to the Creator, turning to the Creator for healing, I came here and I have confusion in my head. I don't understand or I don't remember why I'm here or what is going on, what I should know and study and truly, let's say a fogginess from the morning. So already you should realize, as much as possible, that habit becomes second nature and if I get used to it, that it is also coming from the Creator, then it turns out that already from the morning I have help from above and that way I advance. I don't regret the fact that today I am more stupid than yesterday. That I got up and don't understand anything. That I am old, senile or all kinds of other things that I can't remember where I am I don't have any orientation, well what’s with the study, or the process that we went through from yesterday to today. I don't have anything and I don't feel that I exist in connection with everyone and connection with the Creator. This is good. It is good, as it says, “and they shall be as new in your eyes.”
Each and every day man is a new creation and by this, I understand that if today I got up and I couldn't understand where I am and what is happening to me from yesterday and I cannot continue anything from yesterday, but rather, I truly start with a clean slate. This is actually good, even though I now need to start gathering all kinds of elements that I need to have and I don't even really want to get into what was yesterday. It is good that I do not remember it. Now I need to, as it says, “they shall be as new in your eyes”. Once again, I have to start anew. This is how we should see it. That each and everything that is happening to us, first of all, we need to check each one of us, how much this is an invitation to come closer to the Creator and by this to heal the situation, to what extent I have to tie everything first of all to Him. That there is none else besides Him, and it could be a health situation or some family situation, or some global world situation. It doesn't matter what it is, in all of these different states that we go through and we're impressed by the most important thing for us is to tie everything to the Creator. Not for us to throw it away, seemingly away from us. That we no longer care about what is happening, but rather out of the fact that we want to be closer to the truth. This is actually the beginning, so let us, as it says in this song, 'let us get up tomorrow morning with a new song in our hearts.” Today we want to renew our connection and make it even stronger. Not just to continue it from yesterday but rather to do an examination. Maybe yesterday it wasn't so important for me, but today I want to rise to a new degree, to a new state, to a new style of connection between us in the 10 and with the Creator. Whatever was yesterday I don't want to engage in how it was. I don't want to be like Lot's wife that looks backwards all the time and this is why she became a pillar of salt. We need to try each and every day more and more as it says “to advance through overcoming. This is exactly what it is.
2. S. (9:19) Why is there such a state as the wife of Lot? And why is our perception based on what we did in the past? In the wisdom of Kabbalah, why is it not that way? Why is it considered a state of Lot's wife?
R. That is a nice question and to-the-point. In this world, those who are living here are considered to be living the life of a beast. On the degree of still, vegetative and animate, not growing into a spiritual connection with the Creator. Therefore, whatever they did yesterday, they can continue today. This is also good as from this, we get the wisdom of life, as it says, “The wise one sees what is coming.” However, if we want to advance spirituality then we must not look at yesterday, because we grow according to the records and the records are always new and they come in a way that is completely unrelated to one another. Yesterday's records and today's records are two new forms. An entirely new movie about a new topic, components of it are new and it is all new. Therefore, this is as we say that ‘They should be new in your Eyes,’ each day man is a new creation and this is how we advance. So, if I get up in the morning and I have nothing, I just have a clean slate, that everything has been erased, then with respect to this world I don't know what is happening, where are my slippers? Where am I, that I might be thinking and I don't quite understand. You will see that you have such states where you get up and you don't know where we are, where is my stuff, what are we supposed to do? All kinds of such things as if it were abnormal. The record that appears in us it influences us in such a way that it erases whatever was yesterday. You don't need whatever it was yesterday. You need to start anew. We begin to feel that only adhesion with the 10 and with the Creator can help us. This is adhesion because it is like a baby who latches onto the mother. At first, he holds her instinctively, like an embryo within the womb. That he is truly connected with a pipeline to the mother, and he receives everything and gives everything back to the mother instinctively. Later on, when he detaches, bit by bit, and starts to feel in the connection more and more that it is obligating and compelling him, otherwise he will not exist. He tries all of the time to be connected to the mother as if he is still inside of her. But now, he is on the outside and that way, more and more, as we find ourselves, we disconnect from reality, even the corporeal one that we don't quite understand where we are and this happens sometime and this all comes from above as a new record, and it is in order for us to need more connection with the Creator. We will feel like a baby that attaches to the mother's body and only in that can he find his confidence, his life. Is this what you were asking about?
3. S. (14:38) You said that covering everything with love, covering all the crimes with love to reach none else besides Him. How are those two things connected to the fact that we cover with love and we reveal none else besides Him?
R. Everything that is revealed in us, we need to be sensitive to it because each and every moment many states happened within us. Numerous states, I would say thousands and thousands of records appear each and every moment and they build in us the form of the world. Imagine to yourself that you are seeing billions of frames, of forms each and every moment, and they are replaced with a very high frequency, a high pace. This is how you should see that the Creator is sending you all kinds of states. From this, you should bring the states back to their source, to the Creator. In spite of all these states, you adhere to Him. You are drawn to Him like a child to the mother, constantly wanting to be more adhered to her with whatever is happening no matter what, it is the most important. The more he feels helpless, the more he grabs onto her even more because the confidence is where he lets go, seeming to run away from her hands. his is how we should understand that this is the Creator's game with us. He awakens within us all kinds of forms, lack of confidence and helplessness, lack of orientation and we need to constantly be alert to what is He doing this for, as this is called, what is going forward and overcoming. Advancing and overcoming against all of the disconnections because there is no such thing that we have these connections. We are always elevated in holiness, never lowliness. It is always whatever the Creator strikes with, He is actually healing. He is seemingly striking us so that we disconnect from Him but it is in order for us to connect with Him. To be attached to Him even more and this is how we advance.
S. I see that the Creator gives us certain disturbances and you're trying to connect above that with the friends. Even though I asked Him to take that disturbance so it won't bother me to connect with the friends.
R. Wait a minute, how can that be that you are asking that the Creator will take away the disturbance? No. Rather with the disturbance you adhere to Him with the friends through the friends and to Him so that this disturbance becomes connection. Your connection with the friends and between the friends and already with the Creator. You don't take it away, God forbid. We also learn that we never ask of the Creator to take away the disturbances but rather above the disturbances as it says, Love covers all Crimes. The connection should be above the disturbance. But I actually discovered that this disturbance came for my benefit and I can now adhere to Him even more with the disturbance because the disturbance becomes coarseness. It specifically gives me the power of the connection so that I can tie a rope so specifically the more that I felt that I was disconnected I now tie everything together and from those ties I reach a connection with the Creator. Therefore, the fact that I feel I am disconnected, that the friends are far away from me is a revelation of the true state. I need to create a new and stronger tie between us and with the Creator.
S. What does it mean that I already went through that disturbance? That it was already processed? A certain thought disconnected me. What does it mean that I processed and went through fully?
R. That you feel you have exhausted this disconnection that was revealed to you as a new coarseness, and you return this coarseness into a new connection, into the refinement of the state between you, and now you can continue. Everything is revealed only in order to come closer. There is nothing that comes against the connection, between us in the 10 and also between the 10 and the Creator. I am asking you to remind each other this is where each one helps his friend especially here a person cannot do this. A person always forgets and this relates to the correction of the connection between the 10 Sefirot where we have to discover the Creator, so here it’s only mutual help that can help us.
S. On one hand, there is a certain void where we connect with the friends and I also see that everything burns and there is a yearning that is growing and growing and it has to do with everything in the world, what is that given for, where it all grows, so we can connect even more?
R. All the disturbances are only given to you to connect more with the friends and the Creator. All the disturbances come only in that style because in your connection with the friends and with the Creator, you correct everything, and you will also reach a state where all of your situations at work and the family, with each and everything in the world, it is all depends on the connection between you and the group, and the Creator. This is how we will reach the general correction because there is nothing besides that. You will reach it through all kinds of different states. You will be able to tie it and relate it. You will start relating these things in a clear way as everything stems only from the degree of connection because everything stems from the system of Adam HaRishon and if you see this system, that this is how you need to correct it, then you have nothing else to do. You come from all kinds of phenomena that appear to you with the still, vegetative, and animate in this world only to a merely spiritual phenomenon. That everything depends on the degree of distancing or closeness between the parts of Adam HaRishon and there you already begin to work. That is, you are shifting from the corporal world even though you live in it, however your corrections are spiritual corrections.
4. S. (24:26) It seems after the automatic operation of connecting with the friends and to the lesson, it seems it doesn't succeed. How do we know habit becomes second nature?
R. I don't think that it will work for you so quickly. I would like to help you more and more but I have no further way to assist you besides whatever I do in a revealed way, with words, exercises, which don't really belong to you, it doesn’t relate to you. It all depends upon the effort in the group and this is your work. I hope very much that you are hearing the lesson, again, each and every day and that you are trying to extract a few principles from each and every lesson. And to remember and actualize them.
5. S. (26:01) In the current state we feel now, the spiritual state, do we believe or do we know? Do we create this or do we just notice it?
R. We do not establish or create any spiritual state. Our influence on reality is that we raise the deficiency. What is it that we would like to be out of whatever we feel? The upper light, the Creator, He awakens in us all kinds of feelings and thoughts in our minds and in our hearts. Out of that, we need to arrange ourselves in such a way that we will be able to bestow to Him. If we don't bestow to Him, He does it at His pace. His influence reaches us, awakens us, but this is at a slow pace. If we want to actualize and realize it in the right way, then we connect and we try to be as one man in one heart. That is, to reconstruct the system of Adam HaRishon, as much as possible, as a single unit. This is how from it we reach its inner force, which is the Creator. Turning to the Creator can only be out of the 10, and the appeal can only be out of the fact that we want to be connected in a single system with communication and connection that is as tight and correct as possible, uniform, so that the Creator will be able to be revealed between us in the connection. He will be able to enjoy the fact that He is becoming revealed.
6. S. (29:07) Can I ask a friend to cancel his disturbance?
R. We can pray for the friends but how do we pray for the friends? Not that the Creator will remove the disturbance from them but rather with the help of our investment, the Creator will be revealed in them in a more purposeful manner and closer to the goal. By this we want to help the friend, to give him our efforts, our exertion, and this is called each one shall help his friend. I see, as much as I am able to see, that the Creator is relating to the friend in a certain harsh manner and I want to give my exertion to help the friend, to advance along with him because of course, whatever the Creator is giving the friend is for the friend to accept it with faith above reason, to advance and to move forward towards the Creator. I reach out to the friend to help him to overcome this disturbance and this is how we take care of that situation together. Indeed, great joy comes to the Creator because we are turning to Him in such a way, as this is the best solution possible for each and every state that is revealed to each and every one.
7. S. (31:44) You said to watch the lesson, take certain principles and apply them. Is there a difference when friends come to the morning lesson than when they watch it during the day? Can the same principles be used?
R. Missing the morning lesson is a great loss and I don't know how he will later be able to correct it because he disregarded the friends and the Creator. Creator does not forget about the disregard of the friends. Disregarding the Creator, we can correct because it is natural, it stems from our efforts. Disregarding the friend is not on the height of the Creator, it is not on a spiritual level, it is on the corporeal level and here we have a big problem. We have to reach a state where we correct it in a corporeal form and also in a spiritual form, meaning that it is a problem. The correct relations with the friends are much more critical than correct relations with the Creator. This is why I don't know how to tell you this with a single sentence. A person who missed out on the morning lesson or didn't connect with the friends correctly later on throughout the day? Of course, it is worthwhile to try and find tactics and efforts of how to be connected, to somehow get closer to the system of Adam HaRishon, the state of a single soul, a single vessel. This is a problem. I know you from how you appear in the morning lesson and I hardly feel or know people who are not in the lesson on a regular basis.
8. S. (34:51) We discern that there is none else besides him and a disturbance comes for the good, this is very common. How can we use this in an effective way with the disturbances that we also raised a qualitative prayer?
R. Everything, we are going through in our mind and in our hearts, we realize all of these changes come from the Creator and need to respond to them correctly. I am grateful to Him for all of the changes, even the worst ones. I try to strengthen my connection with the group and with the Creator more and more upon all of the new states that appear. I begin to relate differently to the states, that as much as these states are seemingly disturbances, I am grateful to Him for giving me the disturbances, to reveal to me that I am disconnected from the friends and to some extent disconnected from the Creator. So actually, this is great help as the revelation of the broken vessel Adam HaRishon. He is revealing to me how I can put together these vessels. This is how we advance and this is actually a great help because whatever the Creator's strikes He heals. This is the rule.
9. S. (37:04) We pray for friends that are sick. How do we correctly help them overcome and return to us rather than not remove the disturbance?
R. To do this correctly, we realize that the Creator is giving the friends a very serious burden in his life, physically and spiritually perhaps. Usually, these disturbances come together but we may not discover that they are actually coming together. What should we do? First of all, if we come together then we can divide these disturbances among the ten and then we immediately raise from that corporeal level as it is revealed to the spiritual level. We are elevating these things to a prayer. This helps a lot. We don't quite have experience with this but if we will try with each and every problem that is revealed it truly will seem to us not as a problem but as an invitation for connection. It is like a grown up that moves away from the child and asks the child to take another step forward to teach him how to walk. This is a problem for the child and he is afraid, standing there crying not knowing what to do. This is how we teach them. Look how much a person suffers from birth for a few years and later on it is not less but at least he knows where he is. We need to try with the friends who are in harsh states, to connect between us in order to take them together with us and all of the things that they have difficulties in their corporeal life, and also spiritual life, we are willing to divide them between us. Specifically, by this we will discover how much the Creator wants to connect us together and to bring us to the ten and to use these opportunities as much as possible.
S. Is it similar to a mother whose child is sick and she says it's better that she would be sick and he would be better?
R. We want to divide everything that is in each and every one, for better or for worse, between us, in a way that the group is taking these things and turning them from bad to good. It is very simple. Everything becomes corrected through connection. There is nothing that can remain in a bad form. If it was revealed in a bad form in a friend, it is not for the friend. It is a sign for all of us that there is room here to correct this and to reach through connection to get closer to the Creator who is the doctor, the healer of all the patients.
10. S. (41:54) A disturbance appears, I attribute it to the Creator even though I am angry with Him and try to think of the friends. How do I make this step towards the friends in this case?
R. I admit it is truly a problem, as I also experienced that. I don't know if I managed to go through it or not as it says don't trust yourself until the day of your death, or when the entire desire to receive is revealed and becomes in order to bestow. It is only through the mutual guarantee. I don't know how a person is capable of doing anything. When someone in the ten is asking, the entire ten is asking the friend's question, and in general, even if it is a friend who is not in my ten, we integrate with them. It is all about integration and we don't need anything more than that. The most important thing is to be constantly concerned about this state where we are all Incorporated together in a single system. This is the problem, there are no other problems in the world. Our individual lives or in the general collective life, or in all of reality, in different times, in the infinite states, in all of the worlds, there is no state that will be revealed other than for the sake of connection. It is simply a single problem. In the shattering there was a single correction, adhesion. So, try, in other words, to perform actions that are directed toward connection and demand the forces and guidelines for it from the Creator so that the Creator will finish the work for you. Later on, you need to also demand results. We want to see ourselves as being together in a single system where we, all of us in our connection, can bestow contentment back to the Creator.
S. How do we know we succeeded and make that disturbance into an ascent?
R. The way you feel it should be revealed.
S. As joy?
R. Not only as joy but knowing and feeling joy is accompanied by emotion and attainment.
S. What is the desirable result that we want from this?
R. You want only one thing, to discover there is an upper force above you that is taking care of you and that you, in the connection between you, bring Him joy. It is a simple thing, as Adam HaRishon regains its function.
11. S. (46:09) You told us that the Creator gives us a striking, what does this striking really mean and how can we use it correctly in our 10?
R. The blows that the Creator awakens in us are not blows but rather places that we can add connection between us and between us and him. We feel the lack of connection as a blow and let's say that I wake up in the morning and I don't know who I am or what I am, what is happening with me, what I need to do. This disconnection even takes me from corporeal life. Of course, from the spiritual life and the friends, for what and why? This is the record that is being disclosed, that is being revealed and this record was given to me so that I will work upon it. Then I certainly get annoyed with myself, with life and all kinds of things that are working or not working. In the order that I think they need to be. Until I catch myself which can be after many efforts that it is completely not dependent upon me, rather that the Creator awakens in such a way so that I will turn to him and then I first of all understand where I received the state from and then how I need to approach it, how I need to read this situation and how to correct it and how in this corrupted state do I need to feel a new reality. Meaning some portion of the system of Adam HaRishon which was not quite as shattered as it was before but rather that it was already on the way to be corrected and from this, I discover society that is somewhat connected and the Creator which is there and I am in it somehow correcting it and it is somehow in closeness and connection to him. This is how I came to the correction. This is the main thing that we should understand that all we receive is from him, everything we need to do is to connect between us and to address it to him. The truth is that it is not so important to me what I received from the Creator, but rather what is important to me is how I respond to it. Meaning the main thing is the connection and addressing it to him, to the extent whether we understand what he did to us that is all not so important as long as we can work with what we received. Even if we don't understand in depth what we received.
12. S. (50:35) How can we look at the goal without looking back?
R. How we can hold on to the goal and not look back that it comes to us from the reforming light otherwise we constantly fall into our animal state. The group needs to give you this correct approach and confidence. Mutual guarantee as this is only the work in the group. You don't understand how much you can help one another there for any of you who says what can I do, he thinks about his forces and that is not correct, if you take into account the forces of a person, he can't do anything with that. He simply needs to erase his private personal life in which he does nothing in spirituality and also in corporeality not so much. it is all in connection where I eventually come to a state in which if the friends would want and would accept me and connect to me that I would be with them then I succeed. My success is only by diluting myself with them. I don't know how else to say this, intermingling in them, dissolving in them would be better. By that I forget myself and all of a sudden feel where my true spirituality is.
S. How to correctly use the force of the 10 in order to increase the confidence of the 10 towards the goal?
R. Constantly think about this, that my right attitude towards life is only through the 10. Even in my personal life, I don't even disconnect from it, don't detach, my family, children, wife, kids, work everything, even my health. All of this stems from my relations and my attitude towards the 10, the attitude of my 10 is higher than my corporeal life and therefore if I try there to build and establish a stage correctly then certainly my life will work out. However, it works out, it will work out as the Creator will always know how to evoke in me more opportunities for corrections but this is how I need to respond to them.
13. S. (54:31) In the beginning you said we have to bring back the internal states that awakened to the Creator each time, what is this action of bringing it back to the Creator?
R. That everything we received we received from him as he establishes every state for me, I feel confused, he does that to me. I wanted to do something with my friends but it's not working out, let's say someone from the friends especially may have corrupted my state or spoiled it, the Creator did that. This is how it happens. I need to constantly see myself through the 10 with the Creator that I am there, my whole life is passing there.
S. How to turn correctly with a 10 and share a disturbance with them because it is not desirable to share our problems with the 10?
R. No, that is something I need to do inside of me in an internal way.
14. S. (56:13) How can I renew my connection with the 10 in between our meetings?
R. A person needs to constantly depict to himself how he is in the system Adam HaRishon and that his group is this system of Adam and how he can correct the connection between everyone to such an extent that he will feel his whole life is the whole world, that it is all being clothed in the ten. You have received everything you need to try more to execute.
15. S. (57:17) About not looking back, we received advice as a ten to write in the diary, how do we do this without looking back?
R. What was yesterday, was. Don't drag it into today, you woke up, you are as a new creation and a new 10, a new lesson, everything is new. If you need to go back and to add to your states, to your work it will come but you need to try and start new. It was, there is none. You can do a short critique of the previous state, short and to the point and it is a new day.

16. R. (01:02:04) I said in the beginning of the lesson that one can get up in the morning and suddenly see that he doesn't know where he is and what is with him, what is it for or why, what is going on and what should he do. These things can happen specifically later on when we get used to seeing them as good signs but that in the meantime there is none as wise as the experienced and we need to learn that these are things where one feels that he is empty. How should he feel this emptiness? Especially when he wakes up or if it happens in the middle of the day or when he gets out of bed, one needs to realize that the Creator is awakening him in such a way so that he will first of all feel how much he depends on the Creator, that the Creator can take away his whole memory, his mind, his emotion, all of it leave him only with the feeling of nothingness and fear. Such things that where a person feels himself that he is truly in a contemptible form, that sees himself that he doesn't even know how to function by that by that the Creator opens up for a person a great wonderful opportunity to be adhered to the Creator above his mind, above his emotion to simply be in adhesion because nothing else remains for him. Above this it says the Lord has made it so that you will be feared. That is specifically the best illumination when a person discovers that the earth hangs on nothing, that right here he cannot do anything, this actually is the best possible feeling of the beginning of one's adhesion with the Creator.
17. S. (01:05:06) We tried yesterday to write the state of the 10 in the diary but it is not clear how we determine what is the state that one is in and how to analyze that situation. Can you explain more how we determine and diagnose the state of the 10?
R. You need to work on this on your own, speak between you what each and every one speaks but in a contrite manner very short, what are the criteria by which we define our state, the mood, the connection between us and the state of our attitude towards the lessons. The state of our attitude towards lessons, towards the Creator in a real way and you will have five or six principles, it's not worthwhile to have more than that, by which you will be able to define what our state is. Later you may even shorten those principles and realize that you don't need so many. That you come to a state where two is enough and like this that it will be clear to you where you are according to these criteria. Today relative to yesterday and the desired state today as to tomorrow. This is very important. Don't observe and look at the current state and the next state then it has no vector to which it is advancing.
18. S. (01:07:28) What should we do at the 10 when we see an obstacle coming to one of our friends?
R. Immediately take this disturbance as belonging to everyone, to the whole ten and work on this disturbance, what does it mean to work on it? That we with this disturbance swallow this disturbance and bring it inwards and want to overcome it together and to rise above it and there to connect ourselves to the Creator. Just as this disturbance comes from the Creator like the Creator put an invitation before us that you want to come closer to me, please, connect between you upon this disturbance and come closer. This is what we need to do and this is why we are happy with the disturbances and events in this way. This is the entire spiritual work as later it will be more revealed with disturbances and degrees, Partzufim, worlds and Klipot, now for the time being it is called the preparation period.
19. S. (01:09:03) With work above reason to detect the deficiency, the emptiness is this personal work or the work of the 10, individually I can understand but in the middle of the 10 how do we work with this vessel?
R. We need to awaken in the 10 always being in increasing connection in order to give an answer to all and every state of our place, of our state. In order to give an explanation of where we need to go to and what we need to do, not exactly that we need to talk about the private states that every given moment we go through, no. Rather it is enough in a general way to talk in the lesson.
20. S. (01:10:27) To complete the scrutiny many friends are asking that Baal HaSulam is warning us in very strict, severe way not to pour your state on the group and today we talked about how to share and divide the state's the friend is going through and how to use this in the work. How do I bring my situation to my state to the 10 and decide what we should or shouldn't and in which form should we bring it to the 10?
R. If you try to relate with love of friends and through that to love of the Creator than every single state that comes to you, you will develop it correctly. To be able to bring it back to correction, all together all of these states are revealed to us from the system Adam HaRishon. We should not think that they are kind of coming whenever they feel like it but that they are revealed according to the state, not random, according to what we need to receive and we need to accept them and try to respond to them appropriately. I don't need to receive them and to disclose to the friends exactly what I am in and to confuse them all together, open up the consciousness, my heart's conscious, no. We're playing, maybe we cannot receive it correctly when we do that but we do need to in general be ready to help every single state of the friends. There must be a general prayer for the general health of the group so that it will be such that this is where we are. We don't lack anything but this prayer where we ask from the Creator to give us more and more and between us and from the connection between us more to him. S. To bring it down to something very concrete I was fired at work. my son got a heart disease and my wife left home, all sorts of states that a person feels and doesn't have the connection with the Creator. How do we ask the 10 in society for help to draw the distinction without bringing them into that whole picture?
R. I think with the states that you're telling us, truly corporeal states that are very clear, I would talk about it. I would share about it in the 10. Certainly the 10 understands that this is all something that remains within the 10 as it we say it all stays in the family and that I ask them to strengthen me and pray that these responses, these disturbances that the Creator sends are not disturbances but rather degrees of ascent for all of us towards the connection with the Creator and I received this offering of the burdening.
S. If I feel more of the internal disconnection, what do I?
R. Here you can't confuse them with all of these changes that are still not spiritual, but psychological. These things I would not confuse my friends with but rather I would try to arrange and take care of those things on my own. The spiritual states we don't really want to be connected to one another in a physical, verbal manner because this will just lead to confusion.
21. S. (01:15:50) If possible, can we complete this, I'll describe a state that happened and how the 10 related to it. The friend tells us that there's a health and family scenario that's making it difficult and the 10 thinks about it and we also have a workshop together and together we think about how can we use this in order to discover together and help each other see that there is none else besides him and even be in joy, is this the correct relation of the 10?
R. Yes and don't let go of the prayer, until you see that the state has improved, do not let go of the prayer. Maybe additional states will come and more friends will have other things, see them all as the general state of the group and that this is how the group advances. Otherwise, how will we advance if not by disturbances, these disturbances are corrections that the Creator gives a blow he also heals in that he heals Adam HaRishon by revealing the records of the shattering, how they come as blows. just as Baal HaSulam says I'm happy of the wicked that are being revealed.
22. S. (01:17:37) How to overcome a situation where I am disgusted by the friend that I don't even want to see in the 10?
R. Talk with the Creator and see how he is doing and you will see that this is not a problem, but that the friend is actually with a certain role towards you in order to advance you towards the Creator.
23. S. (01:20:34) The Creator is constantly restricting himself. Where will we get faith of the force of the Creator in the 10?
R. If you try to do exercises that we talked about, then we start to discover that we are in the connection between us and with the Creator and this connection exists and is slowly revealed to us just like out of a fog with our feelings and we can through our connection connect to the Creator and in such a way to enter into a dialogue with him. I for my beloved and my beloved for me through the 10, so don't disparage but rather note all of these states in the 10 that we can ask the Creator for and he will answer you.

(01:22:11) My group is compelling each and every one of us to say where we are if we are not in the lesson, so let's say that I have to spend a week in the hospital I have to tell them that I am doing this or do I lie to them and tell them I'm going on some trip? Specifically, when I told them I was going to have surgery and to be in the hospital for a while they sent me so much love and prayers, I truly felt I was in the womb as it was a special warm. What am I supposed to do the next time I have surgery should I tell them about this?
R. You already answered it, what are you asking me? You brought forth the connection from the group and therefore you see the Creator by sending you a certain problem that gives you the possibility to connect through it. Very nice, so what else? Of course, next time if you have an opportunity, you will do the same as you are causing the connection of the group so certainly even disease itself is a better solution.
S. It actually went by very well and there's another surgery next week. We said we shouldn't share the internal things that we go through so how do I know that what I'm going to share is actually doing good to them or maybe it's better not to share?
R. It's not an internal state it's a physical state by internal this I mean emotional, I shouldn't say this is how I'm feeling not if I'm having some sort of turbulence inside of me or confusion, don't confuse the friends because this is where you need to be cautious with the internal states that I feel but that the external states that I need to go through. Let's say I had an operation or some problem in my corporeal life which has no internal spiritual state that is intermixed into it so I can't talk there with the friends and slowly come to a state where eventually we will solve all of our problems. Both physically and spiritual, why do we need to lower these problems to a corporeal level? We can grab them while they are in a spiritual degree and care for them there.
25. S. (01:25:25) We should reach a single common feeling, or does each one think and feel that above it we build it, no emotion?
R. If we are in the morning lessons all of us together then for certain all of us, we come to a common feeling and for certain we as much to talk between us because we are in a common feeling. In the feeling we will start to discover that our common feeling cascades and rolls and connects us all together until we find ourselves in an inner dialogue.
S. There are friends that sometimes come or not can, they complete themselves with the 10 or can the 10 complete them?
R. Friends who don't, I don't know what to do with them because to me they're not friends as they are disregarding the connection between us to make a spiritual step forward. It's not that I want them to leave but that we need to try to draw them inwards. I don’t understand these things. If I want to advance towards the purpose of creation, how do I let go of this step forward that everyone goes and I remain, then the next day it's the same thing? That they move forward and I can't catch up to them so I leave.
S. How can the 10 complete that state so that the whole 10 will reach the common feeling?
R. Pray and convince and do all that you can in corporeality and in spirituality as in spirituality is prayer for the friends and then corporeality it is to do all kinds of ways. Today you don't wake up to come to some center through the rain, winter, summer. Today you wake up out of your bed and you sit down by the table where everything is next to you. Where everything that you want, the bathroom, coffee, computer, sit down what else, you are already on your way.
26. S. (01:28:31) What is the difference in discernments whether from the lesson or from the excerpts that we do share between us to the inner states that we don't share between us?
R. The states that we go through in the lesson and discuss are actually including every single state that could be. This is how it actually is therefore it seems to me that it covers everything. If you relate to everything that goes by you in a spiritual way, internal way, emotional way, correct then you will see that every single lesson opens before you some other screen, some other scenario in the system, another act of this play that you are feeling relationships between you in a new way. To the extent that you discovered these harsh states, you will see that when it comes to a solution you receive very good new discernments. As long as we don't forget that we are under his care.
27. S. (01:30:27) Especially lately in the last week that we are speaking about disturbances. It sounds like the importance of the meeting between us during the day after the morning lesson is very important. (01:40:16) We in each and every moment can clarify the Reshimot records from the shattering, we can scrutinize them in a corporeal way as it happens with the whole world and we can clarify them in a spiritual way which is already a different solution to all of the Reshimot, the records. We understand that when we process the Reshimot, the records in a spiritual way that we want in each and every record to come closer to the Creator. In a corporeal record we don't pay attention to that, we just go through it in a kind of automatic way like still, vegetative, and animate like all the people of the world do. Here we have a true opportunity for each and every one to correct the root of his soul and integrate with the general vessel of Adam and to fulfill one's role so that we will continue on a different level, a spiritual level, where we are talking about a different level of existence. The main thing is overcoming each and every state until we come to bring each and every state to a click, a spiritual lock, me, the group and the Creator and this is called Israel, the light, and the Creator are all one, they're all together. If I achieve this it doesn't matter what level or conditions, but if I think about that and if I yearn for that to get there this means that I awaken these shattered records of my own soul and that is to correct my soul in a continuous way. So, if I want each and every state to happen that way then this is how I fulfill my role in life.
29. S. (01:42.35) We read this excerpt before the lesson and had a few questions about it. The matter of overcoming is an external or internal action. We don't understand why these forces and what are these forces?
R. Overcoming means that I overcome the emotional distance between me and the friends and the emotional difference between all of us in the group of the friends and the Creator. These two parameters are what we have to overcome to bring all of the distances to zero, of course new records will appear based upon that. It is like moving from one level of sensitivity to another and then another, you keep measuring in this way. Let's say you're measuring your distance in kilometers in your rise to the sensitivity of meters and centimeters. Each time you raise the sensitivity, the range becomes higher and this is how you do it until you reach the goal. We're all of the distances between you and the friends and you and the Creator are all reduced until it comes to zero and that is the final correction.
S. What is the general calculation between the root of the soul?
R. The general calculation is what exists in the group because we think that our group is put together by chance, by incident, there is no such thing as there are complete articles about this, there is no incident in the world. It is just us who don't understand reason and consequences so we think this way. The fact that we are in the group, the Creator already arranges it through the people that are with me in the group, that it becomes part of the complete system. It doesn't matter what we run into in terms of seeing in other 10s that are other problems and so on but if we deal with what the Creator sends to us then we are dealing with the correction of the root of our soul.
30. S. (01:45:52) How not to feel that the game is sold in advance in the work?
R. That is because there is none else besides him and the Creator puts man's hand on the good fate and says take it and from all of that when we pay attention to these conditions then we come to a point where there is none else besides him that comes from above and the Creator determines everything. Subjugation towards friends is how I'm determining it. You tell me if I'm right, agreement that the Creator is giving us what we need and by this we are justifying and only then do we reach adhesion is this correct?
R. In broad strokes it is correct, if I accept that what I accept is coming from the upper force, from the Creator, that key according to his plan and that I have nothing to do about it but just to agree and accept it and to participate wherever I can and must this is our whole work. Knowing the system, the more that we talked about the system Adam HaRishon, that each and every one accepts this system in the 10 and on the scale of the 10 that is sufficient. If you would see that good, beautiful connection with you and the 10 you will see this is your final correction. In order to make these corrections in the 10 correctly you will discover that you have to include in your 10 other 10 and the entire world but that will come. It will not be a problem and most importantly not to be afraid at all.
S. When I say a difficult state that we have to connect to the 10 upon to justify the Creator, it is clear what state, that it is good and I am happy about how to not disconnect at this time?
R. Typically, when I was with Rabash, if there is joy and a good state and I remember I visited a great Kabbalist who is in the world of truth for a long time, me and my friend when we came together, we went to visit him with Rabash, I think he was already very old and he was barely seeing but yet when he saw us, he was very sensitive to it, he felt what people are engaged in. We were in the beginning of our Kabbalah studies and he said, oh look who came, let us have a meal, and I thought what meal? As meal meant a glass of something and a cup of tea as that is a kind of meal for him and that is joyful because he felt it as an expression of joy and we visited a few times and I remember it very well so when you say what can we do to have high spirits then I think this is a good time to joyfully have a joyful meal. Try to organize something like that in the 10 as this is typically what the Kabbalists do.
32. S. (01:53:35) We want to ask about the new form of YH and the meals.
R. So let's start from the meal because that is closer to us.
S. We have a meal plan for the 4th of July at 6:30 p.m. a men’s meal 18 years old and above in the Center. We had a meal a while ago and we wanted to understand what you said that a meal is an opportunity to celebrate happiness so what is the celebration that we want to do with this meal?
R. The meal means that we are celebrating some ascension between us, spiritual ascension and this is called a meal that we are first of all dining together around the table, even two people or 200 people or 2,000 doesn't matter but together we have a drink and we raised L’chaim and we eat some bread with salt and we possibly have nothing else besides that. The meal itself is a little bit of wine, bread and salt. With Rabash there was also olive oil and some few other things on the table, chopped onions with pepper and that is already a meal. Just understand that the Kabbalists who lived for a thousand years didn't have a meal where each time they slaughtered a lamb and made and prepared all kinds of things. I am thinking about the meal as a connection and this is what is written also and this is why we eat together and sit together and to discuss together, this is a meal. I'm in favor of doing a meal once a month for the word Kli.
S. That is exactly the question, why should we have such an event?
R. I understand that today the whole of humanity is virtual, meals are virtual and lessons are virtual but here we are going to follow the custom of Kabbalists where they sat that way for thousands of years, and that they would eat bread, salt, olive oil and something to drink, say maybe wine. It is not something that was big, we can do this but it used to be the custom of the Kabbalists, that is what they would say at least once a month. So, let's do this. This is not something that you can replace with other things and I think that each and every one at home can set this up as well as there is a lot on TV, shows that talk about, so do this, you take the head of the onion and how you add salt and pepper to it and other than that bread. The few slices that you need and then you take the bread, that can be whiskey, vodka, wine, something with alcohol, maybe something stronger or weaker, it doesn't matter we raise L’chaim and we dip the bread with the onions and the oil and we eat. There is an inclination to follow the Kabbalistic meal and I am telling you there is also spiritual force in that's because the Kabbalists that are doing this custom and that we are wanting to join this custom we are joining them. We want to join those who used to do this in the past and this gives us great assistance to advance. So besides eating a chunk of bread with oil and onion. Besides that, you are with us and we are talking about something and singing the song that is it. The whole meal can be half an hour or 45 minutes, an hour is maximum, no more.
S. We want to make certain not to fall into the corporeal value of the meal but to rise above?
R. We do exactly, according to what I said, don't slaughter a lamb and I don't know what, just bread, oil, onions and a little bit of drink.
S. As a meal do, we need to emphasize the spirit of awakening from within or something more internal or quiet as you said Rabash did the meals were completely silent.
R. There is nothing last year than joy and elation. Do you want to delete that?
S. No.
R. Let us be joyful and elated after the meal we will be able to wake up and start with a new kind of power. The meal is a connection, the meal symbolizes to us that we have fulfillment, imagine from the Creator so we want to connect between us to receive this connection from the Creator then continue this way.
S. I think the friends who are longing for this meal. There were a few friends who felt that and they got together. How do we feel this is one big action whether on the screen or around the table that we are reaching one place?
R. I think that it is enough for us together virtually, those who live in a way that they are able to gather physically, do it as let's do a few virtual meals and we will see that if some are gathering physically, I don't see it as a problem. The question is if it's going to be a problem for them. If it's going to be a problem for them, commenting virtually gives you just one single opportunity to open your heart and connect to the friends because otherwise you feel you have nothing. Physically there can be confusion because you feel that you're already sitting together with the others but yet you're not actually with them.
S. This is the thing, are there a friend's that thought that they were in the meal with a friend around the table and the rest of the world was more distant, virtual and we really want us all to feel together and not to just give up on the opportunity of getting together. We will recommend doing a strictly virtual meal for right now as each friend prepares this plate with chopped onions and olive oil, whatever you like and the glass of wine and that is it. What the Kabbalists used to have and we will do it like that.
S. If we are going in the virtual direction is it good for 10?
R. I don't know, I am not certain, they should feel what it means to connect to each other in this virtual setting when the heart longs to be together and to sit together but that sitting together will not become some kind of festive sitting around the table but rather connecting of the hearts. Let us feel the need to connect the hearts through a virtual meal.
S. Okay so we will scrutinize this format to put an emphasis on connecting on the virtual level.
R. We don't need anything more just like we are sitting right now with everyone sitting in front of the computer, just that everyone has some onions and olive oil in a slice of bread and something to drink.
33. S. (02:06:07) In doing the scrutiny of the new degree of the global YH which happens on Sundays, what do you think is the purpose in the goal of this new YH on our new degree?
R. You need to answer this on your own, I won't tell you, you want me to do everything for you, advance this way, left right, do this or do that, like a kindergarten teacher, and hold your hands together and walk one after the other. S. The fact that we have gathered in the Gathering of friends is it the point of connection at that moment or we can also summarize our work over the last week?
R. If it belongs to the connection in the group, then maybe yes.
S. How would it be correct to summarize our work from last week? We have different kinds of meetings so what is the correct way to summarize our work in the Gathering of Friends?
R. I don't know. I think you are confusing yourself. Oh, if you have a few meetings every day and throughout the week, all kinds of scrutiny more and more you think this will help? I don't know, as much as it can help, we need to be very careful not to confuse each other. I have nothing else to add. You need to think how you aim the group to the Creator, that is it as we cannot deviate from that direction to all kinds of different directions that the friends want to pull you into. Only the connection between us and the Creator that is it. I don't think we have anything else to talk about.
S. Do we want to reach conclusions about the previous?

R. S. For us right now the Gathering of Friends is like the peak of the week. What happens on Sunday, everyone waits for this meeting, how should the 10 prepare itself for this meeting?
R. In the YH we want to find a necessity to connect to the Creator, that is the culmination, the final goal, the precious goal that I will feel the necessity to connect with the Creator as the only thing that is pressing on me and nothing but that.
S. The whole week we need to work on this desire to bring it to the Gathering of Friends?
R. Yes.
S. What is the correct way to work on this necessity, the demand to connect with the Creator?
R. That you will have to scrutinize on your own, you think you'll start asking me the same question that it will help. That is that you have to scrutinize, you have to reach it and there is none as wise as the experienced.
