1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, today one of the friends asked me. He said that he loses confidence day after day, the feeling that he's feeling this life and stability and every day he needs to do certain actions, strain forcefully to bring himself back to feeling life, to feel confidence in life and I felt that state in him. I’m not managing to find the right words right now but to find oneself not in life, not in movement, kind of like a person that is in some clear, certain, sure, and known place, a familiar place. I explained to him that this situation is good it actually comes from a direct act of the Creator upon him. That he is being given an opportunity through this to find himself not connected with his desires and thoughts, his regular desired and thoughts towards others but he should seek how to be dependent on them with forces of bestowal, with different, other forces and then he will see that it is actually help that he's been given right now and that it comes directly from the Creator and that it evokes in him all kinds of feelings and difficulties, regular difficulties where he always felt himself, from the moment he was born and began to develop he always looked for people that will support him that he will support them and draw them towards the life of lives but now it's taking out of him this feeling that he is in life, in the center of life, connected to everyone that is necessary to whoever he can but to the contrary they want to move him through certain tournaments and through those tournaments he will find himself in the air and move from egoistic connection he has to connections of giving and bestowal. Then when he searches for this he will perform inner movements such that he will want to activate himself in bestowal towards others. The main thing is to feel them and this way he will also come closer to revealing the network of bestowal, the spiritual network that he is in.

2. S. (6:54) It turns out that the confidence we can acquire is only to the extent that we acquire the quality of bestowal, rising above ourselves.

R. We can come to that confidence only as we are connected to the group and through the group to the Creator beforehand we will always be in a feeling of lacks, a lack for existence, a lack in connection, in the reasons of what happens to us in each and every manner but the confidence we attain through the group and the Creator where the Creator fills the group on his behalf and I am incorporated in the group on my behalf and then to the extent that I am in the system called group with the Creator who fills and supplies there all his presence I come to complete confidence.

3. S. (8:18) I did not understand the reaction to the friend that you spoke about how he loses his confidence every day, the sense of stability, the sense of life?

R. I told him that in his place I would be happy that the Creator is working with him here and it's truly pulling the rug out of his feet, from under the feet that he is on, and he has nothing that he can rely upon so he will seek, through the friends and the Creator, a new foundation, a new base.

S. How do we instill joy in such a dark state?

R. It is not dark. Why is it dark? He advances through this. You have before you a table that has been set and you are with the feeling of hunger so rejoice that you have both this and that, two things that cover one another, that complete one another. Why dark? Where you are, let's say confused, that you know that now you are going to solve the confusion and in it you attain the essence of life.

S. Because each day a person feels as if the rug has been pulled under his feet and security and no confidence. Maybe it’s not dark but there's nothing to hold on to?

R. If you hold yourself at this moment in life only adhered to time then certainly you are lacking confidence and it looks like someone is pulling the rug under your feet but if you are aimed to the future, not the distant future, then you are happy because all that is being done to you is so you will advance a little bit forward.

S. And when you feel that you are powerless, that each day your powers are dwindling, and you understand that the powers are from the friends and from the path but even for these you have no power. Where do you take the powers for this?

R. First of all, the lack of forces is from the Creator, that he's not giving us the forces. That he's staking out our forces. He's emptying our vessels so the person will come to new vessels.

S. But what do you do in that state even if you attach it to the Creator you are still in that state. It is a prolonged state.

R. In this state you need to be adhered to the society in mutual guarantee to the group, to the society. You need to, you know, like you are laying on a stretcher and let your friends carry you. Just like a trip where people are carrying you on a stretcher.

S. How does this transition happen from an egoistic fuel that moves you to a state where you have the fuel that is disconnected from this dependence on self-satisfaction, and it comes from bestowal?

R. I didn’t understand, please repeat yourself. 

S. In the beginning you have fuel from egoistic reasons, this is what makes you move. So, I'm trying to understand this transition from egoistic reasons, egoistic fuel, into a fuel that comes from bestowal. How does this transition happen?

R. This change is done to you from above. Where you already, it's not simple, it is salvation already. 

S. But until this change happens, as long as I cannot convince myself egotistically, I can't do what I have to do.

R. You do all those actions but from those actions you understand that you need to do them seemingly in order to bestow. That is called from Lo Lishma we come to Lishma

S. It is as if the intention is not there. They are far from being…

R. The gap between the desirable state and the existing state is what advances you.

S. So what is that state when you are just hanging in the air, and you don't want to be under the control of the ego so to speak?

R. Right you don't want to be under the influence of the lower world, and you have yet to come to the control of the upper world, so this is what you call between heaven and earth and that is where you are. You are making efforts, more and more and more until a penny and another penny add up to a great sum.

S. Clear. Wo besides, other than time and more effort and everything we do, there's nothing we can change.

R. No, all there is here is the quality of the effort and the quantity of the effort so with the quantity of the effort we are more or less okay but when it comes to the quality of the effort, not yet, we are still not quite depicting to ourselves the correct state. 

S. Can you direct us? What exactly do we need to focus on in terms of the quality of the effort?

R. Most of the verses that we are reading here talk about that.

S. (15:30) How do you hold on and maintain yourself in the state of between Heaven and Earth?

R. Look there are several means to sustain yourself. Mainly it is to continue just like yesterday, also today just demand more, demand more of the spiritual result. That's it there is not much more here. What right now I’m supposed to go through all of those verses, all of the advises that we already heard? Every day they need to appear. All these advisers need to present themselves in a new way, in another way. The main thing is to awaken from habit so that today won't be like yesterday. Wo that every day will be like a new day.

4. S. (16:40) Why are all the revelations that the Creator gives us why do we see them as suffering?

R. Because they're all against our desire to receive in order to receive.

That's how we need to feel it and to the extent that we connect between us we attain the lights of Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya, Yechida. Through this we rise to spiritual degrees.

11. S. (23:45) If in the work of connection with the friends we feel the sweetness of the connection and then we yearn egotistically for that thing, what do we do with this? With what intention should we… 

R. Don't worry, let it be sweet, let it be good that you are with your friends. That is okay. It doesn't bother, it doesn't bother. You can enjoy being connected with the friends and here the question comes: Are you with them together in order to feel good or you are with them together in order to advance to the purpose of creation? So gradually, slowly, slowly when you are together and you are receiving together the reforming light, the light arranges the form of connection between everyone so, do not worry, it is okay. You can enjoy from connection with the friends.

12. S. (25:18) I would also like to ask in the context that we started the lesson. Similar states as what we talked about, there are quite a few of them. The frightening thing is the meeting with the ten in a day, at night because at the end of the day you are powerless. So what I want to ask is, this approach of clinging to the ten as I understand it is something internal?

R. Yes.

S. An internal action that you do forcefully. So what I want to ask is how in this work does imagination participate with us?

R. No, no, no, it's okay. Of course our imagination belongs to this as well. You can imagine to yourself in the form of connection, that what you are coming to and what bestows upon you etc. you can also add to these the force of imagination.

S. If I understand correctly our inner intention has to change. 

R. This inversion in order to receive or in order to bestow will come from your presence in the ten where you suddenly start to feel that the light that influences the ten draws you to be in the ten, to give yourself to the ten, to soul devotion in the ten, to connect with them and then from there you will start to be in order to bestow

13. S. (27:44) Is the feeling of working in the chain, is this a personal feeling of the person or is it the work of the ten? Meaning you take strength to do the personal work from forces the ten gives you or is it the work of the whole ten?

R. It is your personal private work and to the extent that you incorporate in the ten you also use the forces of the ten until you discover in order to bestow, that you belong to them, and you work together.

14. S. (28:30) How can we measure how much we bestow upon the whole chain, the whole ten?

R. We cannot measure that yet. How can we? What tools? What vessels do I have yet?

S. How can I know that I'm adding every moment, every day. How can I know that I'm adding in the right direction?

R. As much as you can until there's no end to it and then it all accumulates, and you already receive the correct sum. When you come to the correct sum you will get it.

S. And if each day I feel I am doing less and less is it still accumulating?

R. That is when you are being demanded to give forth more prayer every day. It is true that every day you see more and more that you don't have forces but that is so you will demand. Where will you get the forces from yourself?

15. S. (29:43) In excerpts 21 and 20, we have to become entirely for the whole chain, that is the intention?

R. We need to work for the whole chain. The truth is that we need to work for all of humanity and we are also doing this, but we are not aware of it. All the work of the Kabbalists is to reveal that point of contact, at least, to the Creator and to draw all of humanity after that.

16. R. (31:38) Workshop Question: what is it considered that you should leave for yourself just what is necessary for the connection of the Shechina? What do I leave, what do I not leave for the connection of the Shechina?

17. R. (34:52) Let's talk together this way, so in order to care for the connection of the Shechina  because it’s actually the correction of the Kli that was shattered in the state of Adam HaRishon, so what do we need to do? So it turns out that we build a vessel and what fills the vessel is the upper light, the Creator Himself. Is there something else to add please? 18. S. (37:03) In the excerpt he writes that we need many people according to the multitude of people we advance because before that we said that it's quality that we need now not quantity.

R. You’re right because there’s quantity and quality in the multitude of people, there's the King’s Glory, I dwell amongst my people, that’s as far as the quantity, quantity is ten people that are connected between them at least, yes no more than that, but there needs to be another quantity and another quantity and another, just like we learned these examples from the Torah, from the portion of Yitro, and the quality we need to see that is eternal to infinity to Ein Sof, 125 degrees that we need to rise upon until the complete unity.

S. To what extent in our generation are we dependent on bringing many people closer, to what extent must our correction be in the multitude of the people?

R. I can’t really tell you; we are operating in the framework of the last generation and there are all the laws, all the rules that operate in the end of correction, they’re not quite yet the laws of end of correction but we’re already in a state in which there are no limitations. You want to perform the highest corrections please, in the previous generations such things were not there but rather each and every generation was limited, just like you have in the degrees Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya, Yechida, now we’re entering a state in which all of us can enter and therefore we are erecting our society to be included of all the humanity yes, and everyone can enter everyone can participate and there are no limitations.

S. Okay a question is what now does this spiritual ascent depend upon, in another hundred people entering our circle or…?

R. Quantity and quality, well actually more about quality to the extent to which we’re close to each other dependent on each other, kind of hanging ourselves on each other this is really our   progress and yet we have to understand that it’s a matter of accumulation, we need to add more and more and more quantity of effort, labor until many pennies makes a great amount, and then we’ll begin to discover the state we’re really in.

S. So how, if you have some kind of advice, how to intensify qualitative effort?

R. Through the thought. Persisting in thinking that I can’t succeed without the friends and what I cannot do they will do.

19. S. (40:57) It’s written here leave to yourself only what you need to connect with the Shechina. What is it actually talking about? To leave yourself some corporeal desires…?

R. ( No translation)

S. Again the question here is about the corporeal desires, do we leave those or?

R. Both, we need to leave everything that we cannot incorporate in the end of correction, at every degree we have to build the end of correction the final correction as much as we understand as much as we can, that's it. This needs to be like our goal, and then we will reach the ascent each and every day.

20. S. (42:19) Is not prayer the most powerful tool to intensify our connection?

R. There's nothing more than prayer, at the end of all our efforts, all of our scrutinies there has to be a prayer, this is why we have to several times a day come to a prayer, ideally three times a day in the beginning of the day what we want to achieve, in the middle of the day where we connect in order to have this common force to continue and at the end of the day where we more or less understand that we have done something throughout the day and we’re open to continue tomorrow. This is how it should be, and we need to organize ourselves accordingly the connections between us in the ten and then between the tens.

21. S. (43:34) The incorporation in the ten is only in the spiritual level above the corporeal bodies they will always be differentiated. So my effort is to go above this clear separation there is between the bodies only with the faith, is that the work?

R. Usually I don’t pay attention to the bodies, we need to connect in our desires in directing them toward that goal and to the extent that our intentions are to be in one desire to be incorporated in the Creator in the end and to give the Creator a place to fill us to land in us, this is what we need to depict and there's nothing corporeal in it, only a desire.

22. S. (45:07) The request, give me importance, give me to see Your greatness, is that a correct request?

R. Why do you need it? You need to ask something that you really feel you need.

S. I am lacking it.

R. In order to what, in order to advance?

S. In order to connect in order to invest more in the ten, I am being dragged behind them but I’m not bringing it, it's kind of like not coming from me .

R. If you really need the feeling of  the greatness of the Creator because by this you’ll be able to subjugate yourself, subjugate yourself toward connection with the friends not disconnect from the purpose of the advancement then ask.

S. What is the difference between the importance a person receives from the environment and him asking directly from the Creator for it?

R. The Creator is the common force that’s operating on the ten, if you’re asking from within the ten you are turning directly to Him, if you are turning to Him alone it’s like a cry in the desert and this is why we need to try to have a ten and from the ten we ask.

S. About asking for importance, there's always this feeling like it’s not respectable to ask for it because it's kind of like a puppet that you charge it for importance it works and if you don't it doesn't operate.

R. Don't  be embarrassed, just do what you need to do, consult with the friends, decide what you want, which deficiency to raise and this raise to the Creator, that's it.

23. S. (47:22) What does it mean to incorporate oneself with them in the ten?

R. That all of us in the ten try to reach this, to come to scrutinize this one deficiency and we agree on it and it we race to the Creator, and we keep in our hearts that deficiency for as long as possible and with an increasing power and this certainly works, and it works very powerfully.

S. How do we get to that lack?

R. Through a scrutiny, this is why we are in this world, meaning in a state where we can discuss  what we’re in, even if we are in order to receive and we are not corrected.

S. We tried to scrutinize it yesterday, we didn't get to a clear answer. What is to bestow in the ten what is to actually bestow in the ten?

R. Bestowing in the ten means helping every friend not to disconnect from the ten connect more and more and hold on to the purpose of the ten more and more.

24. S. (48:56) What is the light of the Shechina that is revealed to us that when we connect?

R. The lights of Shechina, divinity is the light of Ein Sof infinity, the presence of the Creator that’s revealed in us and we advance in this way.

25. S. (49:33) In the text we read, that you shouldn't leave yourself anything more than….

R. Leaving for yourself only what you need for the connection of the divinity, so what is the question?

S. It is written you should only leave for yourself what’s necessary for the correction of the divinity. What’s the significance of the word seemingly?

R. As much as you understand what you need to do, of course you don’t do it accurately and you can’t, here you also need to leave something for yourself but according to your degree, to do as much as you can.

26. S. (51:05) Is it correct to ask for a spiritual filling?

R. Yes.

R. I gave you advice, that's it, then you discuss it and do it. I don't want to talk about it, everything else you will do, that’s it. Don't take up time from the lesson.

28. S. (52:01) I heard that you said that the gap between the desirable state and the existing state is what advances us, how does this happen?

R. It’s a feeling of the deficiency that promotes me that pushes me forward.

29. S. (52:27) In excerpt twenty Baal HaSulam talks about the annulment of the desire to receive. If so, why are the benefits that he presents here sounding like benefits of the will to receive?

R. It just seems that way to you, keep going and you’ll see how spiritual they are.

R. No, each one accordingly with his contribution according to his incorporation in the ten.

R. We need to clean up the will to receive from all the kinds of forms that do not support the goal. We can’t erase or burn or do anything, but we are only clean it, in our usage of it, and this is how we advance..

(56:02) That's the main thing that within the people there is always the quality of the Creator we don't see it or feel it but this is where it is even if it’s a broken vessel it’s broken from our perspective so that we will come to sympathize with the Creator to similarity to the Creator but the Creator is in the vessel in the desire in the people.

35. S. (57:46) What does it mean not to depart from the people?

R. Not to depart or retire from the people means a person has to worry, besides being in the ten, about how he brings through the ten correction to the whole world to all the people in the world. Because this is the purpose of the Creator in the end. He broke the vessel of Adam HaRishon  that included all the souls in it and that vessel He wants to achieve adhesion connection to the extent that they are adhered to one another, so they are adhered to the Creator.

36.  S. (58:39) I heard now that you can ask for the greatness of the Creator only to restrict myself and unite more with the ten. Is it possible to ask for the greatness of the Creator not just for bestowal but for reception?

R. What does it mean for reception?

S. Can you ask for the greatness of the Creator for reception?

R. I don’t know what it means for reception .

S. In order to receive something for myself.

R.  No it isn’t heard, the Creator doesn't hear it, this is regular people, and they cry and they have great sorrow and they cry, they cry out of the sorrow that the Creator awakens in them, so there's no progress from their suffering because the suffering itself is given by the Upper Providence so how they respond so, what is it in the response, where is their own response in their cries, what is what do they want? Nothing only for the pains to stop but the pains themselves come down on them because they were wrong they had to come out from that state to a more advanced state. So, how does the measure of the crying help? It doesn't help at all. This is the whole problem with people this is what I'm ready to explain to them that gradually that the correction of the world depends on how much we connect between us and by this set an example to all of humanity so it will connect and to the extent of our connection when we somehow make ourselves similar to that vessel of Adam HaRishon before the breaking before the sin by this we will awaken in our world in our situation positive forces and feelings until we come to the complete correction.

37. S. (01:01:09) How did I check the purity of the intention when I'm asking for the greatness of the Creator?

R. We check for the cleanest of the intention in the breaking when we see how broken we are in the group.

38. S. (01:01:27) What enters in the framework of necessity of the person that goes in the path of truth and who decides that it is written in excerpt twenty-two.

R. Necessity, there is corporeal necessity and there is spiritual necessity. Corporeal necessity, each person determines according to the corporeal framework that he is in, we understand more or less what it means. Spiritual necessity, we need to understand that it is unlimited. We have to come to a state where we live only in the intention to bestow and nothing for ourselves and as much as we receive through this intention to bestow upon others, as much as we receive to ourselves, this will be enough, we will not want more we will even relinquish this, but we will not be able to exist if we did. This is what needs to be known as the light of Hassadim, and in the end, a little bit of the light of Hochma so we can bestow to others.

39. S. (01:03:04) Is the quality of stature going to change if we see that these states we are in as new each time and we try to increase them?

R. Yes of course, we will improve.

S. How to even use the smallest sufferings to increase my desire to change my nature?

R. I need to know that all my progress is in my level of connection, my measure of connection with the friends and all the activities I do in my group, if it is not for increasing the connection, these other activities do not help me, on the contrary, they might push me even further. So, the most important thing for me is to come to connection. See how difficult it is, how difficult it is, and this is only the beginning of the correction but to the extent that we connect within our small framework we can already begin to reveal spiritual lights, great spiritual lights.

R. Yes. Of course, we will feel it but it's not like the pleasure will come and we will receive it in order to receive. When we work in spirituality in order to receive pleasure, it will never happen that we will obtain. We have to ask the Creator to give us the upper light, so we will understand how much being in the upper light is necessary. It is a spiritual pleasure, pleasure of bestowal, I do not enjoy in my vessels I want to receive new vessels, vessels to bestow and in them I want to enjoy by giving to others and not that it will be good for me but the good will come from me to everyone else. Try to talk about it in such a way that you will understand how much, how opposite it is from where we are today.

42. S. (01:07:32 Can we say that the feeling that we are cogwheels of one whole mechanism is a sign of correct advancement?

R. Yes, yes.

43. S. (01:07:51) In the work for connection between us, does each build its own personal Partzuf.

R. Yes, everyone builds its own personal Partzuf by connecting to others.

44. S. (01:08:08) What is the whole of our work, is that the reason we do not receive results from our prayer because we are not connected to the whole world?

R. We are not connected to the whole world, we cannot, this is why we cannot feel the whole world. We do not even feel our own tens, truthfully because we are not incorporated in them as we should, we have a problem understanding that the internal nearing is necessary, that's it.

R. Well if you cannot reveal the right desire for the friends and now I can't tell you what to do, talk to them, ask them, if you do not feel it but you need to come to a feeling what is actually missing in the ten, is needed for the ten and then ask the Creator because otherwise what prayer do you have, without a prayer you could not achieve the goal, right? Everything is revealed through the prayer. A prayer is a request that you be for the sake of the group so if you are incorporated in the group, to feel not just verbally think for yourself, as if you know, but you feel their deficiencies a little deeper in and those deficiencies raise to the Creator and ask for the group, for the Creator to give us, to give them, the friends, to all of them and you are a part of them, this is really what is called a prayer of many, a prayer for the many.

S. The thing is that I feel we are lacking the force of connection and bestowal, but I don't see that the friends are even speaking about it.

R. On the one hand the more we talk the better because we are scrutinizing but on the other hand it loses quality, do you understand? You know we talk and talk and talk so the inner power disappears, so we need to be careful.

48. S. (01:15:38) What if I feel that the friends have desires and my own, desires of this world, that prevents them from connecting and reaching bestowal, so what should I ask from the Creator for that?

R. For your friends to feel what all of us truly need and that this deficiency will be as one for all of us and that over this deficiency we will turn to the Creator and ask him, and we will be rewarded with the Creator answering us, changing our desire, correcting it, and making it such that we will be directed precisely at the purpose of creation. Okay?

49. S. (01:16:35) You answered the women you said that we need to give an example to the others, that we will give examples to the others, but people have to see a benefit for themselves. What will they see in us if all our changes are internal?

R. The Creator will organize everything and take care of everything, you will reveal to people what you can and the rest, as it says, the Creator will finish for me.

50. S. (01:17:16) It is written here that man brings, starts with prayer for the vessels of reception so how do you go from Lo Lishma to Lishma, a person has to understand that all his prayers are in the wrong direction?

R. Just keep going and when it happens you will understand.

R. It is a new “I”.

52. S. (01:18:14) You said that it is important to feel the friend's deficiencies and to raise a mutual prayer to the Creator, how do we do it?

R. We are always learning. How can I tell you? How we try and we make an effort, we try to organize ourselves to be as one man in one heart and then we achieve it.

S. I mean how can I … what I felt or didn't feel the deficiency of the friends?

R. Go with that as much as you can more and more every day and you will start seeing changes.

53. S. (01:19:16) How to use the growing desires as specifically through them we can name ourselves towards annulment and adhesion to the ten?

R. We should try to direct all of our desires for its connection, all of our desires towards connection and more and more, more, and that is how we will succeed. I do not have more to add. Okay?
