Student: (01:52) It's unclear what the sages see and as if it's written that the judge has only what his eyes see. On the other hand, we need to close our eyes in order to come closer to the truth.
M. Laitman: For now I didn’t see that.
Student: You didn't see that in the text?
M. Laitman: No, here I didn't see it. Yes. Let's keep going.

Student: (05:11) According to what's written here revealed and concealed, it's relative to a certain person and a certain period of time in his development, right?
M. Laitman: Supposedly yes.
Student: Let's say at the beginning when a person starts everything is concealed and there's nothing revealed and at the end of the path, everything should be revealed, right?
M. Laitman: I guess.
Student: Okay, so it's written here that in the concealed part it's forbidden to research and study. We see that in item 155, in the Introduction to Talmud Sefirot, a person doesn't understand anything he studies but through the big desire to understand, it acts on him. Is that seemingly a deviation from what's written here because a person here says he needs to understand?
M. Laitman: There's a desire, there's a need, and if a person activates it, he does advance in researching.
Student: With the desire and yearning it's permitted and without that, it's forbidden?
M. Laitman: I understand that it's forbidden to rely on it, meaning I don't count on it. But I have a desire and a need, and I research so everything I do research, I still can research, and I can say that I tried it but I'm still doubtful about it. Even though it seems like there's nothing there that you can even doubt.
Student: Practically, we learned a part in Talmud Eser Sefirot, and I feel that I understood something, let's say?
M. Laitman: You know for yourself as much as you understood it's all limited if you can even say anything about it.
Student: It's also felt that Baal HaSulam writes things and then you need to go back over it but here it says it’s forbidden?
M. Laitman: Here, it's already a border that our sages define that up to here you can and up to there you can't, and even though it's possible, you're still forbidden.
Student: Also, what he says about the research it's unclear.
M. Laitman: There's nothing you can do. We'll keep going and we'll see.
Student: (08:12) He opens the paragraph and says that everyone comes to the conclusion today that there is nothing certain in reality. The sages understood that a long time ago and they divided reality into revealed and concealed.
M. Laitman: Yes, but the borders revealed and concealed also change.
Student: Yes, but our research is research of the quality of bestowal of the Creator?
M. Laitman: It's all towards man.
Student: Towards man, towards the person?
M. Laitman: Yes.
Student: What is revealed and concealed in the path?
M. Laitman: On the same degree, the same state you're on, for you there's a revealed part and a concealed part.
Student: What is that, what's revealed and what's concealed?
M. Laitman: What you can reveal, and it'll be clear with all the vessels you have and you can rely on it and check the others and they can check you, that's called revealed.
Student: I'll make the question more precise. We say that in our world without spirituality, just the world a person can be certain of one thing only, what he wants.
M. Laitman: Well.
Student: And everything else, it's an illusion?
M. Laitman: Yes.
Student: When we're speaking about the spiritual world the research has a direction, there's a vector. It's not just what I want but what I want in a certain direction. What can we say there that is revealed and concealed?
M. Laitman: What's revealed is what a person can reveal in his five senses, and he can share it with others just like him and that'll be accepted on everyone. That's called revealed.
Student: What is concealed?
M. Laitman: Concealed is what was revealed to him and not to others. It hasn't been revealed. And now there's a matter of whether it's revealed or concealed and towards whom and how.
Student: What is the research on that boundary between revealed and concealed?
M. Laitman: The research here is as much as we can be certain that we're revealing.
Student: Because there's someone there on the other side who understands or it's for us to understand?
M. Laitman: What's on the other side?
Student: Trying to understand what you explained earlier. That revealed is what is revealed to a person, and he can identify that in his proximity and share that and concealed is what he cannot share.
M. Laitman: For now, we don't know what it'll be in the future. For now, in our senses, in our qualities, we can't.
Student: How does one discern between one and the other where is that boundary between them?
M. Laitman: A person researches reality and it's clear where the border is determined. He determines the border between what's revealed and what's concealed. He shows it to everyone whether they agree with it or not.
Student: It actually goes into the work in the Ten?
M. Laitman: Yes. I recommend you read this and discuss it and tomorrow we'll solve it.
