2. Rav’s Introduction: (02:52) If we do not have questions then let's talk about how this detaining force and depicting force has to be in us so we have this depiction of the newborn. Please talk about it between you: how the depicting and detaining forces, how do these two forces connect in the person, in each of us, in order to give us this form, this depiction of the newborn, of the offspring.

Workshop: How does the depicting force and the detaining force get established in each of us, so we have the depiction of the newborn?

3. R. (08:37) How can we imagine to ourselves connection between these two forces: the detaining and depicting forces, from which something in the middle is born, which we call the newborn. These two forces are coming from above, and they build something in between them that we already call the third body.

Workshop: How can we depict such a connection between these two forces of depiction and detention that will be called the newborn? 

4. R. (14:12) How can we depict for ourselves that from two opposite matters, a detaining force, and a depicting force, it turns out that there is a third thing, a newborn, an offspring. This third body that is born and begins to exist, by two contradicting forces, how can we locate this, depict, this, imagine as a such a thing existing.

(19:50) If I could ask about the previous excerpt, it is not so clear, the essence of the detaining force, it talks about, let's say I have thoughts about the Creator and the sensation of appreciation of the friends, and there is an additional force that the others don't have that adds some force to me that others do not have. It seems like pure egoism, but he says that there is no wholeness without it?

R. In order to sculpt for example from clay or some form, some image, we have to have two forces, two directions, one direction that add something to this image, matter, to add and intensify and augment the matter and the other that is stabilizing, that gives it form. Two contradicting forces need to be connected between them, and in such a way, they need to give you the result, the desirable result. It is the same that happens also in creating a newborn and in its growth, in every organism, so what did you want to ask?

R. I do not know about the excerpt, I know that as far as two of these forces that are in a dynamic balance between them, without it nothing can happen, this is the law of nature. 

6. S. (22:12) There is us, the friends in the ten, and each of us have these opposing forces, some may be pushing us and some may detaining us, so what exactly is between us that begins to appear as the fetus, some degree of connection?

R. This is in each and every one of you, it is not between you in the ten, but it is inside each one of you to begin with. 

S. In each of us what?

R. Each one of you has two contradicting forces that appear, the growing force and the detaining force. 

S. Each one of us feels it in one way or the other, but what happens after when it starts to form in us and the fetus and starts to develop from these two forces?

R. Then you with your forces, with your thoughts and your intentions, try to connect between you in order to create from yourselves, all of you, the correct form. Which will already become similar to the Creator.

S. Then what is this form that we begin to deal with these forces?

R. You are sculpting together from the sand, just like playing in the sandbox, you are this way sculpting between you such a form, such a character, such an image that will show you your natural form that you want to attain.

S. What does it mean that this image is already stabilized between us in the ten? 

R. The fact that you are receiving from above the detaining force and the growing force, and you are using these two forces in order to stabilize these relations between you and to receive from that the correct form.

S. So the fetus is some form of the Creator, some correct form of the Creator that we receive in the ten? 

R. Correct.

S. What is this form, some correct connection?

R. It is the right connection between you. 

S. And this is some point that already exists and is felt towards everyone? 

R. For all of those who participate in this. 

S. What does it include, the efforts of the friends?

R. Every single one of those who participated in it. 

S. And this exists between us, separate from us? 

R. This is something common that exists between you. 

S. How can you check if it exists or not in the ten? 

R. Work on this, there is no other choice and then you will feel it.

7. S. (26:14) The main thing is Ibur and then afterwards the entire system of the woman is operated and activated and she does not need to worry, so in spirituality is there a moment that you understand that the spiritual impregnation has occurred and now truly that birth will happen or is it up until birth that one does not understand this at all?

R. All of that will feel during our common work, in the work of connection, all of this depends only on our connection. 

8. S. (27:19) So there is the depicting force and detaining force and the right line and left line, what are those definitions, the detecting and detaining force in our work? 

R. This is how we are working this way, according to the depicting force that wants to connect between us, according to the detaining force we connect some and don't connect some in all kinds of ways. It is like a sculptor who is putting together a sculpture, who is sculpting, this is how we do this.

S. It is not so clear, we tried to talk about it between us.

R. Try not only to talk but also to work inside and then you see that you have these two forms of work.

9. S. (28:22) Is it possible to give a different example here, when clay is being worked on, the sculptor is one the one hand detaining and also pushing the form?

R. Yes, it is something like that but in every matter of the work there are these two directions, in every matter of the world. 

10. S. (29:08) What is the goal of the spiritual fetus, what is its role? 

R. To resemble the Creator.

11. S. (29:26) If I understand correctly, we are talking about systems of the mind of the heart, but personally and the ten, and the transition from the personal to the ten? 

R. Yes. 

12. S. (30:00) The detaining force that is in the ten is based on Arvut?

R. Yes. 

13. S. (30:22) There is the detaining force and depicting and developing force but this intermediate force it is not so clear, is it not developing, it is not moving forward. This intermediate state it is not clear what direction, where it tends to. 

R. Towards the developing force. 

S. So its tendency is none the less towards development?

R. Yes, of course but still the detaining force is necessary in order to establish and stabilize and give form to this form, this organ within the fetus.

14. S. (31:24) when we grab the Creator both of these forces are present: the detaining and the depicting, developing force? When do we grasp onto the Creator both of these forces are present at the same time? 

R. Of course, two forces simultaneously. 

15. S. (3:10) This force called the fetus, afterwards with impregnation of the fetus is this the process of the spiritual Partzuf?

R. The newborn is the result of the forces we use. 

S. Is it building the Partzuf

R. It is the result of the creation of a spiritual Partzuf

16. S. (32:41) If I understand it correctly the Creator gives us two forces and these forces are in order for us to work in the relations between us in the ten and the result that we get from the work is this the new fetus? 

R. Yes. That is the new born.

17. S. (33:50) I’m trying to understand here. We are talking about two forces right? The developing force is the stabilizer, I understand that it is developing and there is the detaining force that gives the form to the spiritual body. The force that gives the spiritual form is that on the basis of the spiritual record, the Reshimo, that we already passed through in order to reach the end of correction?

R. It works based on the Reshimo of the general records, these two forces operate: the developing force, the expanding and the detaining force, The Creator, and the detaining, they both work as a pair.

S. Meaning what we went through in spirituality is based on this where we established both the expansion and the contraction? 

R. Yes. 

18. S. (35:06) Will we experience these conditions until birth with awareness or with love? 

R. Yes, our path is that way. All together we will all reach the end of correction. We will all reach the desirable result because the Creator is above them all and, but it all depends on the extent in which we want to identify with Him, to integrate with Him mutually in the work of creation.

19. S. (36:08) We are talking about the newborn and we know that inside the mother is the placenta which is the most important thing for the newborn. Can you please tell us what is the placenta in the spiritual development of the Ubar and what is the whole of the placenta in this development? 

R. These are very important questions but we will talk about them and learn about them in time, it will take us some time to understand each and every role of these things what are the forces that operate on us and function like the mother's womb, like the umbilical cord and other forms that are in the placenta, there are many systems that we will learn.  

20. S. (37:33) Regarding the two opposite contrasting forces by what conditions does one force not annul the other? 

R. It is the person who controls that one force won't cancel the other but rather they will work together. 

21. S. (38:10) These two forces are the altruistic intention and my egoistic nature?

R. These two forces we need to combine between them in such a way that out of this we would get the altruistic development. 

22. S. (38:56) There are two forces the detaining force and the developing force, to feel them and to combine between them there has to be something in between them at least according to the corporeal laws and also in spiritually there is something between them? 

R. We to begin with received some forces that come to us from the beginning of creation which is the force of a single point which is not developed, which does not move, which does not do any action and towards this point we are actually counting the whole creation and this point comes to us out of this, just as we say, that now in the beginning there was just the upper light filling all of reality and there was no this and that and it was only a simple higher light filling the whole of reality that is in absolute rest and this absolute rest it is the point from which creation begins. 

23. S. (40:58) Is the detaining force the force that keeps us from growing so it does not fall into the will to receive on one hand and also won't divert from the general force of the ten on the other hand?

R. Yes. 

S. Is the detaining force what keeps our force is Ibur so it won’t fall into the will to receive on one hand and also we will not divert from the responsibility of the ten on the other hand?

R. Yes. It is also true. 

S. And that gives the form of the vessel in which the Ubar can develop? 

R. Yes. 

24. S. (41:50) So the depicting force is an impulse for our development, it is the force of the left line, and the detaining force is a force of a whole matter that enables development only in order to build the whole thing and by that He sculpts?

R. Yes. These are two opposing forces one is developing and the other does not allow to develop beyond the border above the limit. 

25. S. (42:37) It is called spiritual birth because it cannot be done by oneself, it needs connection, is that correct? 

R. The impregnation is a process that must go through the drop of seed until from it, the whole fetus is born and over the time of impregnation the fetus receives all the necessary forces from its upper one which is his mother and from mother he receives because these forces come to mother from the father and it is a very complex system. We will still learn it of course the wisdom of Kabbalah does not explain it into fine details but it is possible to get into this and investigate these interesting things, very interesting 

26. S. (44:21) You have said that the person can decide which force is operating on him and how can the person decide if he is under the restriction and these are forces that are influencing him from outside? 

R. I did not say that. During the time of impregnation we can only influence the upper one through annulment to the upper and also in this nullifying we do not have so much force to annul ourselves but rather we annul ourselves because we must as we have no choice. The upper one gives us a commandment and we nullify ourselves and this is how we grow so in the degree of annulment we still do not have free choice in anything. 

27. S. (45:45) The question about the state we are feeling for the moment as a state that is already the state of Earth, a state that you are between heaven and earth, a state when we feel we are nowhere. How can we come to such a connection in such as state because it is like you are an astronaut and in open space and then they are connected to the space station and there is a feeling that you are connected to the space station but this relative to that each is doing true experiments but it is like they are in some empty space then it is not clear even what to lean on, to hold onto in this state, it is not clear what the criteria is that we need.

R. Our criteria is to be together, to connect together in order to be as it is said as one man with one heart, as one man with one heart as it is written this is how we need to operate and in this case surely in such a case we will surely not fly off or disappear but we will continue to develop because our tendency is only to connection and in any given moment the meaning of connection the style of connection, the structure of the connection is different and nonetheless we need to yearn for only one thing, connection. What more can we add to our connection? Who is still not connected? All these components are up to us to locate, to detect, and up to us to connect and in this is summarized the formation of the fetus. 

S. Can we say that such a state is the loss of the egoistic fuel?

R. As a principle, yes. 

28. S. (48:24) He is very impressed by the fact that everything that we are learning about, all these forces also exist in this world as well, like pregnancy and birth, why did the Creator make it that we would see these forces and states in this world as well?

R. It simply cannot be otherwise, because corporeality is a result of spirituality, and this way it is not that something is done intentionally to give us here some demonstration, some example, of what is happening in spirituality, instead it is simply these are the forces that are operating from above to below, in the levels of nature, and such as above we have these forces, they connect and give birth to all sorts of new forms of connection, the will to receive and will to bestow. As such it reaches the corporeal degree and also here, it gives birth to men and women and the connection between us, and this that we give birth to offspring, and exist as such. It is not that somebody just artificially made it this way, it is simply the same rule and from above to below, only one thing changes from above to below, in every level, in every degree, there is different attitude, different relation between the force of reception and force of bestowal, this is it, only that. But truly everything happens according to, I have not changed HaVaYaH, and thus the more we learn, we see how much all of creation is truly a single system. Just that in all of the degrees, we have a different appearance between the vessels of reception and vessels of bestowal.

29. S. (51:22) Is it possible for one friend in the ten to feel the state of impregnation?

R. Of course, impregnation and nursing and adult state, all of these states pass over us and we feel what is occurring in spirituality, of course it is possible.

30. S. (52:26) Can we say that the detaining force is the force that helps to ground me in the ten, to connect? 

R. Yes, it is. 

S. So can we say that I am building the connection seemingly as the form of the friends in me, and that’s kind of coarsening and thickening my screen? 

R. In the meantime, you can think like that. 

S. Can we say that if I do not attain connection then it is in order for that force that grows me to continue to operate on me? 

R. You are saying many things that later on can be manipulated and turned around in different ways and understood in different ways and bring you to opposite to success so be careful.

31. S. (53:48) Should we see this driving force as faith above reason so that driving force is a trigger for us to be in faith above reason?

R. Of course yes, very nice. 

32. S. (54:16) Do we need to feel in the ten something special that we would be able to say that, now we are in Ibur, and now we are entering some special protection in the ten and watch over this Ibur, is there special something in this Ibur so we would be consciously aware of this process? 

R. Yes you can say. 

S. What does it mean to enter, how can we say that now the ten is in conception, and not to be stuck, what is that feeling? 

R. The sensation that each one is nullifying himself and adhering together in one central point.

S. And truly each is feeling that he is holding onto the same point? 

R. Yes, everyone becomes as a drop of seed, and gives themselves to the upper one, that the upper one would do with them whatever He wants. 

33. S. (55:40) What response do we need when there is this detaining force and depicting force, is it in the direction of overcoming or nullification or each time demands some other response, how does it work on us? 

R. I don't know how to explain, it is simply working in two directions, restricted and expanded, restricted, and expanded, and then in this way a new form is made.

S. What is our response when we enter our will and we start to work with these forces, what responses can we develop in us towards this?

36. S. (58:51) With which prayer do we need to be in our quest for the reforming light so that the detaining force will protect us?

R. Again.

S. With which prayer do we need to be in our request for the reforming light so that the detaining force will protect us?

R. That he will protect us, that it will not let us escape, outside of the building of the fetus, Ubur.

Meaning similar to him, more and more and more.

S. I simply need to agree with what is positive and what is negative that comes from the Creator, or seemingly how I feel it?

R. You need to agree with everything. 

S. The depicting force and the detaining force, there are friends who say that the depicting force is the right line, and the detaining is the left, there are those that are saying the detaining is the right and the depicting is the left?

R. That is not important for us right now.

38. S. (01:02:47) A friend is a text asking whether these two forces are actually two states that we feel that one is ascent, and one is in descent?

R. You could say so, but this is still ahead of us, why are you jumping forward so much, where did you read about these things that you are already asking about it?

39. S. (01:03:20) In excerpt seven it is written about the birth, what is birth in the ten?

R. Birth in the ten is that everyone connects for the first time into one body. That already begins to be the formation of their newborn.

R. That the connection between them grows in coarseness and form.

R. So let us read that article during the afternoon lesson if we have time for it.

43. S. (01:06:32) Is there stability in spirituality?

R. As much as I hold on to my environment than I am in stability, because even though all sorts of conditions are changing, in this I am in stability by this that I'm connected to the environment. 

44. S. (01:07:19) The detaining force, what does it detain exactly?

R. The detaining force is that the growth of the fetus shall not exceed its natural limits.

S. What does that mean?

R. Imagine that to yourself, the depicting force, when it is developing in its ordinary limits, the newborn can be depicted in all parts of his body.

S. In corporeality the embryo has a defined place, how can it come out of its different places?

R. What did you say about corporeality?

S. I am saying that in corporeality the embryo is inside of the womb, he cannot exit there all of a sudden. 

R. He can grow in all sorts of directions which may not be desirable or correct for the form of man, and so thus there is the depicting force from the inside, and the detaining force, seemingly from the outside, and by both these forces he receives the form of man, Adam, small one.

S. And how is that expressed in the ten, what there is the detaining force?

R. Same thing, the ten needs to receive a unique form, that as such it will operate afterwards, by the detaining force and the depicting force, without both of these forces we cannot do anything. You see the child, how he is throwing his arms and legs all around, the infant, because he does not have both of these forces that are operating in harmony between them, and slowly, gradually, he learns how to work in the correct connections between these two forces, and then he becomes wise, and he can perform with all of his organs what is mind is aiming him towards.

S. How to use the depicting force in the ten?

R. You need to think, you're asking things that are clear, what is the depicting force? Talk to the friends and try to activate it.

45. S. (01:10:22) For several years we are already in a constant dynamic of the development of the ten and meetings and lessons, if we can assume that we are already in a state of Ibur, can this disturb our development?

R. If we could act between us, then we develop in the correct manner, and we will receive all of the knowledge that we need at the right time.

46. S. (01:11:13) Before I start I just want to tell you it took me a lot of courage to tell you this, I am thinking the detaining force is that there is None Else Besides Him and that the depicting force is the evil inclination, but he also gave us the Torah as a spice?

R. Yes, that’s nice.

47. S. (01:11:40)  We understand that the two forces are the action of the Creator upon us, but can we understand it in a way that the building force comes from the ten actually?

R. The depicting force results from the ten and is heading toward the creator as a principal, yes.

R. Correct, correct.

R. Yes.

S. Does the depicting force need to be greater than the detaining force?

R. It is not that it needs to be greater, God forbid, if it is greater, then it will be like some growth in the body. Rather it needs to be balanced between these two forces, there needs to be a balance between these two forces.

50. S. (01:14:22)  It feels that all these scrutinies strengthen our mind and the understanding, but they distance us from the feeling, how can we work with that correctly and isn't it more correct to do the scrutiny in the tens?

R. Make the scrutiny in the tens and you will see that you have also a feeling for it.

51. S. (01:14:59) The matter, the clay, that is me, and the Creator himself works on that matter and as unpleasant as it is, that it works on the annulment and devotion, so I want to understand this. Gratitude, is that the form of annulment and subjugation that the Creator expects from us, that gives him contentment?

R. No gratitude is not a type of annulment.

S. How can we go through the process?

R. Gratitude can be expressed by following the Creator, by repeating what the Creator wants to do in you, by being impressed from His instructions, His thoughts, by that, you show Him your impression, your gratitude.

S. It’s not subjugation?

R. It is not, it is higher than that. You acknowledge his divine status.

S. And that gives pleasure to the Creator?

R. No, no, you should not get confused. 

52. S. (01:17:09) In relation to connection, what does it mean to connect, can we say that we build other forms in me?

R. Yes, you can.

S. Yesterday you answered a reader who asked a question, she asked, can you say that a person becomes an embryo in the friends, and they become an embryo and him, what does that mean?

R. Well we get incorporated in one another, in each one of us there is a ten that we portray, we feel somehow, we arrange it, we build it, in each one of us.

We have to get to more advanced lessons, we have to bring down these two forces to such states that we can combine them and then raise the connection between them to a state where we can create a coupling and striking between them, meaning there will be both coarseness and refinement between them, in such a way that from them, there can be born the third body, the third identity, the result from the two. We’ll learn about it. 

S. The yearning in the ten is great to let’s say really reveal this born state, so we are really searching for this way of how to do it, so that is really the question, the yearning is great.

R. Very well, very well, we will do it. It is very good that we already yearn for it, we will begin to learn this soon. First impregnation or conception, we are entering it soon.

54. S. (01:20:42) Can you say that we need to rise to such a degree, such a level where we ourselves manage these forces, control them, and activate them, and not that they operate on us, that the Creator operates on us, but that we take the reins?

R. It is good that you have such a desire, but we need to understand what is in within our power to do and what is not, otherwise, we will bring ourselves to a fault, an abortion, a spiritual abortion.

S. How can we make it so that He won't stop caring for us because sometimes there is a feeling that the Creator disappears, or you can say that those forces that operate on us, why does that happen, what does he want from us as a response?

R. It happens because we do not understand the entire process in full, so it is all good, the Creator does not let go of us, even for a moment,

55. S. (01:22:33) When does our desire to bring judgment to the world, what does that impregnation bring to the third body?

R. The third body is a result of two bodies that existed separately and decided to connect and then we get the third body, which is much more complex. And so according to the plan of creation, by connecting more from generation to generation, we reach such an arrangement with which you reach the end of correction in the last generation. And all the rest we will learn later.
