Part 2:
The Ruin as an Opportunity for Correction - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. (The Correction of the Breaking, #25)
Reading Excerpt # 25. Zohar for All, “Introduction of The Book of Zohar”, "Torah and Prayer", Item 183
1. R. (01:19) We are talking about Israel as straight to the Creator. Each and everyone that has a direction, guidance toward the Creator that wants to connect with Him to reveal Him and by that he sees his life from here and onward only toward the Creator. So what are they saying? The prayer that one prays is correction of the holy Shechina. That all of the correction of the Creator will come only through our prayer to continue it's abundance towards the relation of the Creator to fulfill it from all of its deficiencies because by then all of the requests are in plural, we. As it says he has regarded the prayer of the destitute because the prayer is for all of Israel meaning for everyone that yearns to reveal the Creator to come closer to Him. He is called Yeshar El, Israel. What there is in the holy Shechina in revelation of the Creator to the created beings He exists in all of Israel and it's also lacking in all of Israel. It follows that when we pray for the whole of Israel we pray for the holy divinity since they are the same. Go ahead.
Reading Article Second Time (03:26)
2. S. (04:24) What is the difference between the holy Shechina and the rest of Israel?
R. Who has an answer? Who has an answer?
S. I don't know, maybe the Shechina is the Creator dwelling in her and the general Israel is the vessel, the divinities with the Creator inside already.
R. Okay yes, let's say.
S. In my opinion there is no difference, the gap is that everyone has to acknowledge it.
R. Yes.
S. He says here when we pray for the whole of Israel we are praying for the holy divinity. What does that mean when we pray for the whole of Israel we pray for the holy Divinity, what does that mean?
R. The force that includes everyone is called Shechina and the force that fulfills everyone is called Shechina and we are all included in this force. That's all.
S. Is the prayer enough or should we do other things?
R. No, no, no. All of the actions are before you activate this prayer to the Creator. In the prayer everything ends.
3. S. (06:30) If divinity is holy what abundance should we draw, what deficiencies does she have?
R. The Shechina needs to be discovered by all the created beings.
S. It's clear we should pray for it but how can we as a ten praying feel its deficiencies?
R. When we want to connect among us in order to cause our Shechina, our group, our ten to connect and then the Creator will be revealed in it and He will be joyful from us.
S. So can we say that the holy divinity is the revelation of the Creator in the ten?
R. Yes.
4. S. (07:38) There is a special beauty here, because it basically says that when a person prays he's praying to the upper one, but for the upper one in the correction of the Shechina. Meaning he's part of the correction in this moment of prayer, that's the beauty.
R. Right, good.
5. S. (08:17) What's not clear is the difference between Israel yearning for the Creator and the holy divinity.
R. Israel yearns for the Creator. They feel this yearning to reach a Kli called Shechina and to reveal the Kli and to feel it fulfilled. That is the work of Israel
S. But what's the addition here when they are incorporated in the holy divinity?
R. They're included in the holy divinity. That we build this Kli, that it's all entirely in order to bestow in all of its parts, this to that and that to this in such a way that we can reach the final correction.
S. How can we depict the transition between the common prayer of ours and the essence called the holy divinity?
R. It's the same. When we pray for connection, for fulfillment of the general Kli, we're praying for the Shechina, the revelation of the Creator that will be revealed before all of the created beings.
6. S. (10:12) Israel is the yearning to attain the vessels in which the Creator is revealed? We're yearning to reveal the Creator but for all the first part we were talking about rejecting the revelation of the Creator. To the extent that there's a revelation I always push it away.
R. We don't postpone revelation of the Creator if it's in order to give Him contentment because that is our goal. Our goal isn’t revelation of the Creator, you're hearing yes, you’re listening? According to your eyes I don't see it. We don't want revelation of the Creator but in order to give Him contentment, that is our goal. In order to give him joy we're prepared to have revelation of the Creator in our vessels. In other words we don't want to receive Him in our will to receive but with a Tzimtzum a Masach, reflected light. We want Him to be revealed there and then He’ll be joyful from our inclination towards Him.
S. So this is reflected light. There's revelation of from the Creator and I don't want it for myself, I want it for this and then what happens? Ultimately the vessel is emptied meaning there is a revelation of the Creator and that's in order to give Him contentment. Why is that not a static state, why does it disappear?
R. So I will add more and more discernments.
S. There's no fall here into the vessels of reception?
R. From where?
S. From the state of the revelation of the Creator and contentment to the Creator the vessel is full. I’m giving contentment to the Creator and then it's emptied.
R. Why?
S. That's the question, why?
R. He doesn't get emptied. Why does he need to be emptied?
S. That's what we're learning.
R. Forget about what we're studying.
S. So it stays you say?
R. Yes I'm in that now. if my Kli changes there is additional coarseness to it, external conditions. I need to now calculate the difference, to recalculate in addition to what I need to do with the vessel that's being renewed and like this every time.
S. So what's going on here is an awakening of new desires?
R. Yes, until the final correction.
7. S. (13:55) What went through the Rosh is passed through the Guf. How can the Guf be qualified to receive it?
R. Went through the Rosh, the fulfillment comes to the Guf. How does the Guf receive the fulfillment?
S. How is it qualified for it, it raises deficiencies to the Rosh?
R. He receives from the Rosh, the Tzimtzum, the screen and the reflecting light just like we learn in the Partzuf. And there it receives in order to bestow and when he has this decision in the Rosh it spreads in the Guf.
S. Yes, when we speak it's clear but when we absorb deficiencies from others wanting to pass on fulfillment to them..
R. That also goes through the Rosh.
S. But then how is the Guf qualified to receive it correctly? It didn't go through correction, we only absorbed deficiencies.
R. Are you talking about the world of Nekudim?
S. No no no, I'm talking about us. When we have corporate with others we want to pass deficiencies, fulfillment to them over the deficiency we absorb from them.
R. Yes.
S. So we can turn to the Creator to pass on the fulfillment what I'm asking is how are others qualified to receive the fulfillment correctly?
R. We're already passing on this fulfillment to him in our returning light, in our reflected light.
S. What does that do to others, does it correct them?
R. Yes, it gives him the opportunity to receive fulfillment in our returning light, one will help his friend.
8. S. (15:54) I want to ask about the gap between my truth and the perception of the reality, the entire reality. Baal HaSulam says turn away from the imaginary business. Are we like the children of Israel in the desert until we reach the truth, where everything comes by prayer?
R. Yes.
9. S. (16:33) If there's no light without a vessel can we say that the entire, the whole of Israel is the whole of the desires to correction with the additional exertion above the desire? All of that is called the holy divinity? Is that a vessel filled with light?
R. The Shechina is more but the fact that we yearn to reach the fulfillment of the holy Shechina, that is correct.
S. The holy divinity is a state of more than light, a vessel filled with light?
R. All of the desires that were revealed in the future in all of us. This is called Shechina.
10. S. (17:42) What's the difference between the Creator concealing Himself and the created being concealing in the Creator? Between the Creator concealing Himself and created being concealing the Creator?
R. The created being conceals the Creator in order to enable revelation of the Creator in order to bestow. And the Creator conceals Himself also in order to give the created being the opportunity to reach Him in the vessels of bestowal.
S. So the created being conceals the Creator only once he reaches the vessels of bestowal? Can he do this action?
R. Yes and before that with what? He doesn't have a restriction or a screen.
11. S. (18:46) When the Creator conceals himself if I interpret it correctly He's concealing the pleasure from bestowal and love, right?
R. Well, let's say.
S. And when the created being conceals himself what is he concealing?
R. The created being conceals himself, that he wants to open himself up only to the extent that he can bestow contentment to the Creator. He hides his vessels of reception, he does a Tzimtzum.
S. That's with awareness that I don't want to enjoy bestowal. That's the difference between this world and the next world?
R. Both are true, yes.
12. S. (19:48) If a person is rewarded with asking over the deficiencies of the friends, that's for sure the deficiencies in the divinity?
R. All of the deficiencies are in the Shechina.
S. Any deficiency?
R. All of the deficiency that is revealed is deficiency in the Shechina.
13. S. (20:18) If the holy divinity is the force that fills everything why do I require a correction?
R. She has desires but her desires are called Shechina in the dust, her desires in order to receive. It needs to be corrected in order to bestow and according to the extent of correction she’ll be fulfilled.
14. S. (20:50) What is the meaning of the correction of the holy divinity?
R. That the desires in her that include her, they’ll be able to receive according to the Masach, according to the intention in order to bestow.
15. S. (21:07) The state of prayer in the excerpt is a corrected state. Should I artificially generate it, pray this way or is this the prayer that naturally comes out of me?
R. It will come naturally.
S. So I shouldn't….?
R. We need to advance to this as much as possible but when we reach it, it will come out naturally.
16. S. (21:45) What's the difference between divinity and the soul of Adam HaRishon?
R. The soul of Adam HaRishon is a Kli that needs to be corrected by the light that reforms in the light that receives in order to bestow to the Creator in order to give Him contentment by that.
S. We can say that about divinity as well?
R. Yes.
S. So it's as if the same?
R. No, but it's Kli’s in a few states.
S. This means that the soul of Adam HaRishon we can say about the state before the shattering and after the shattering we talk about divinity?
R. Yes.
17. S. (22:58) In the first article by Rabash he says that our goal is for divinity to dwell among us and in the ten you said that all the deficiencies are in divinity. If in the ten a friend brings a deficiency it doesn't matter what deficiency he brings, even if it seems to me something corporeal it's still a deficiency? We can pray so that the divinity will dwell among us ?
R. There is a difference, deficiencies that are larger, more inclusive or smaller, individual.
S. The question is practical about the work in the ten so that divinity will dwell among us.
R. The ten decides upon what they should pray for.
Okay people we’ve got all the fulfillments, everything's fulfilled?
18. S. (24:30) This state of the Creator giving wings is a state of what? A person reaches a state where he's more passive in the work, under the wings of divinity? He's safe there?
R. I don't exactly understand the question.
S. A state of wings, what is that state?
R. The Creator covers him.
S. A person becomes more passive in the work because he has no need to work now, he feels he’s safe, the Creator does everything.
R. To an extent, yes.
S. A person should pray to be in this state? Will this be the right prayer because you come to that by incorporation not personally, it's divinity.
R. Yes. yes, hide me under your wing.
19. S. (26:02) Can I say that Shechina is love, what’s the difference?
R. Yes.
20. S. (26:30) I want to say thank you to the world Kli and the men in Petah Tikva. I felt much great connection. It was like this picture that just popped up of how connected we are even though we don't feel the connection. It's like every time we are all asking questions, we are so tightly connected, and I felt it so strongly this evening and I went to share and say thank you because we are very connected and the Creator is between us.
R. Thank you, thank you.
21. S. (27:44) To continue what the friend said what is the happiness that fills you when you hear the questions from the friends?
R. First of all joy from the fulfillment, second it's happiness that's clothed in the relations between us.
22. S. (28:24) What does it mean practically a prayer for all of Israel? What about the nations of the world, should we pray for them?
R. According to the wisdom of bestowal, the same part of the human desire that's aimed at rising toward the Creator, this part is called Yashar El, straight to the Creator. Israel, straight to the Creator. All of the rest still isn't aimed toward the Creator. That's why it's called nations of the world.
23. S. (29:27) We say that the holy Shechina is the presence of the Creator. Why is it that the presence of the Creator is in the dust and how is Israel connected to that?
R. You need to learn this. It's the Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah, how we were formed from the first to restriction. That’s why it's necessary for us to rise above and then we will feel everything.
24. S. (30:33) The more we talk about above reason I get the feeling that we’re actually talking about our corrected mind, the correct Kli since we are talking about a higher state of mind, in other words consciousness?
R. Yes.
25. S. (31:35) The prayer for the whole of Israel can awaken the sparks all over the world?
R. Yes, all of the souls and parts of the souls they all awakened in such a way in order to connect between them and to reach the structure of Adam HaRishon.
S. In our prayer should we think about being the transitional phase so that we can be Shechina?
R. We have to awaken this Kli, that it will start working and connecting in it all of the parts of Adam HaRishon.
