Reading Baal HaSulam. Shamati 25. (00:27) “Things that Come from the Heart”

2. S. (06:05) What is Dvekut, adhesion?

R. Dvekut is when you feel your heart, your mind together with the other friends as if you have one heart and one mind.

R. It's an action.

3. S. (06:46) He finishes it with vitality. What is our vitality as a society? How can we always adhere to this, because by this we can adhere to the Rav to the books?

R. As much as we can connect according to our common volume between us, in there the spirit of life, the light of the Torah, the upper Light can enter there. 6. S. (11:48) When a person falls and doesn't feel the adhesion to resolve to his teacher, should he try to use those feelings that he had before? Those sources, those things he had already experienced because the feeling is that the Creator closes everything?

R. And he's right, He's doing it correctly in order for us to find sources, different ways, higher degrees.

R. Yes.

R. No, you ask. Ask for your next ascent. Don't remain in that state and don't look where you're falling into, just ask for the next ascent.

R. It's not dispersing, it's an opportunity to sustain that connection that we attained here.

S. So how do we do it and not wait for the next convention but specifically now?

R. What next convention, that’s in half a year.

S. Right, that's what I'm asking. How despite the physical distance we keep the connection?

R. I don't know. I don't know. You have to determine between you such connections that you will feel each one of the other everyday. R. By connecting to the friends. R. Right.

S. Where are the friends?

R. They are in there of course, what do you mean? The authors, the books, the ten, the greatest of the generation, our teachers, all of them, it is all together. You have everything, you just say that you’re lacking in order to be more connected until we reach one vessel and discover the Creator, one Creator for all, and that's it. Then before us the spiritual system opens up and then you don't need anything else but the next world. Everything is clear and everything is felt.

9. S. (18:51) In the article he wrote that as long as he doesn't have the force to determine the whole world to the scale of merit, so they determined for him. Can you explain how it works?

R. They want to bring him down from his state, they want to bring him down to lower him from his state, that's it.

11. S. (23:34) It's hard to go in this world and also ascend?

R. It seems that way on purpose. How else would you be able to rise? If you weren’t specifically in this world, above what would you rise?

S. He pulls you very deep?

R. You are not resisting, you're not connected to the friends, and you have such disturbances that you probably can't overcome, so on the contrary you have to be happy about the disturbances because you can step on them and rise higher.

S. But you get bigger?

R. On purpose so you keep climbing. Now there is no reason to complain this is our work.

S. There is a fear and a cry inside.

R. Dear, I'm telling you about the laws of the world, and how to emerge from our world and rise to the spiritual world. This is it.

12. S. (25:05) What's the difference between putting the check mark down if I connect to a tens meeting above my ego even if I don't want it, and compared to expanding my spiritual vessel?

R. It is the same, it's the same when you say by connecting with them, etc., etc. and expanding the spiritual Kli, that's it you're expanding the spiritual Kli.

S. Why aren't we afraid when we have meetings to search for the reasons why I don't come? There are always reasons why not to come, but sometimes I say oh it’s my kids, my Grandma's birthday, my.., I don't know what. Why aren't we afraid that if we have a moment to connect even for a minute, why aren't we afraid that if I don't do it I will damage myself, my ten, and the whole world?

R. We don't appreciate enough our ability to be connected for even just a moment. We don't appreciate it. It's just one moment, never mind there will be another one tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. We don't want to appreciate it and it's a big problem. It's a huge loss, it is a great loss. It is a very great loss.

13. S. (27:04) When we read the articles it seems that we have three pillars; the friends, the teacher, and the books. Following the friends brings you to Arvut and following the teacher and the books brings you to Dvekut. The question is, is there a hierarchy between those three pillars and how they connect?

R. There is a much more, a much wider, higher hierarchy than what we are saying and we will study it a little later, maybe at the next convention. I hope to see you there as well.

14. S. (28:24) I would like to continue the friend's question, is it possible to sustain this additional Arvut under a cover that it won't be revealed?

R. It will be revealed and more Arvut will be expressed.

S. Yes, I feel the desires growing, but I don't want it to be expressed, I want to remain in love?

R. That's how it should be, it's the Creator who does it.

S. But then you devour yourself?

R. You don't devour anything, you just have to rise and increase your connection with your friends.

S. If something negative comes out is that normal?

R. How can it be, only because of this that we rise.

S. So in the end completely horrible things will be revealed?

R. They will not be horrible because you will be ready for them.

S. But has to be revealed externally too?

R. Yes, and you will be happy, Kabbalists are happy about this.

S. It’s a bit scary.

R. Hold on to the friends, hold on to me, to everyone together and nothing will frighten you. How are we living here on this planet on planet earth? We can't even imagine what could happen any minute, under the ground, from above, from every side. Anything could happen, we just get used to it. We don't attribute importance to it, but actually, there is nothing worse than our world, nothing. So look at the future with joy and a smile, and hope.

S. Why am I even asking? In the congress, there is always love and overcoming every revelation even the smallest. This is felt in a very sharp way, theoretically, can we always live like this? R. The Creator gives us obstacles for connections, so we turn these obstacles into connections into unity, so it is all good.

S. What to do with the family, how to combine these things?

R. The family exists anyhow, you have to just like it's customary in our world any man or woman does you have to serve the family. That's it, everything else within you is only through the group to the Creator.

S. The family resists that we devote a lot of time to the ten, so how can that change if we connect between us more the family will accept it?

R. Not always, you have to talk about this in the family and ask the Creator to arrange it so that things will be smooth, so that your kin will agree with your path, with your study. It is not simple, especially for a woman.

17. S. (34:54) To increase the spiritual vessel does that mean to increase the Arvut between the friends and dissemination?

R. What's your question?

S. Does expanding our spiritual vessel mean to expand to increase the friends in the dissemination of the Creator?

R. Yes.

18. S. (35:47) We show examples in the ten to one another and sometimes successful more or less. The active wants to give examples to the non-active and the non-active ones kind of weaken the active ones, so how to do it so the inspiration from the active ones will be stronger than the non-active ones?

R. You have to take upon yourselves a duty, a responsibility although you cannot awaken the whole group you're taking what the friends who do want to do and you help them. There's nothing else, everything is done by force, and that is why it is called labor on the part of man. it is measured in units of effort. Okay?

We always have to come closer through going farther. We have to learn it, but when we come closer specifically above moving further you get a much greater feeling of the connection you feel all; the whole benefits from it.

21. S. (40:48) We read in the article that only if a person is in holiness then he can argue with himself to follow the path of the Creator. What does it mean to be in holiness? What does it mean to scrutinize that state?

R. If he is above his ego and the quality of bestowal, and can therefore move himself closer or farther from the Creator.

S. What does it mean to advance more or less to the Creator?

R. To check himself. How he should build this relationship with the Creator and through it with the Creator, this is already his work.

S. When I connect to the ten, the friends and bestowal, I try to be in it. What does it mean that I check how to build the connections?

R. First, attain the sensation of the ten and then you will see the difference between feeling the ten and feeling the Creator. Then you will be able to check, perform all kinds of different manipulations, all kinds of feelings because it is all in you, both of them, the ten, being your vessel and the Creator being the light within the vessel and you will be able to sort of control, run, govern both of them.

S. The feeling of the ten is the vessel and the Creator is the light in it. What should we do with it to help the ten, advance toward the light?

R. No, no, we will talk about this separately. Now it will only confuse you and you will confuse others.
