Student: Why did the Creator create such a system that we have to ask everything from Him?

M. Laitman: He cannot ask.

Student: Why to begin with did He create it? That’s what they tell you. You won’t succeed. Let’s say I want to be envious of the friends. I know I won’t be able to. I’ll do and I’ll to and I’ll make efforts, and eventually I’ll have to ask from the Creator. I’m not complaining. I’m asking essentially. It’s interesting. Why didn’t he give us that we can bring ourselves out from the ego. Obviously, exertion and work. It takes 200,000 incarnations, It doesn’t matter. In the end, you have to ask for it. Why?

M. Laitman: If you ask it’s a sign that you’ve thought about that and you exerted that that’s really what you’d like. Therefore, you ask.

Student: So. if I weren’t succeeding to do it alone, after a lot of exertion, I’m not asking on behalf of pride, that it’s a problem to ask the Creator, but we see if God forbid, there’s home, money family. I can ask forever. It doesn’t take anything away. There’s no problem to ask. It’s not that suddenly I have pride, then I don’t want to ask, and I want to do it alone. From Lo Lishma to Lishma, where does the matter of envy come in?

M. Laitman: Envy is the more general degree. Envy, lust and honor bring a person out of the world.

Student: Bring a person out of the world to Lishma from the egoistic world? 

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So, I have to use envy correctly. In what can I be envious of a friend that will increase my impulse to come out of this world into Lishma?

Laitman: I don’t know in what. Each one has something that he can envy about. 

Student: So, it’s something individual?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Rabash writes that we enjoy innovations, so it’s clear to me that stories of friends that are devoting their soul… I get inspiration. It’s nice. I think that I’d work like that too, have such a desire, but how can I be envious of a friend that is with me in the Ten. Day to day I see him. How can I search for more envy in my friends if I’m constantly with them? How can I find another point to be envious and advance from it?

M. Laitman: We need to hear innovations.

Student: Where will they come from?

M. Laitman: From those words that you heard yesterday, that today they will appear newer.

Student: What do I do inside that these words will be renewed in me? 

M. Laitman: From these words you give the force of importance.

Student: How do we do it? It’s not if someone resists. I want to see in the word connection every time a full world. It doesn’t come naturally. I want always to ask what to do for it to happen. I’m willing to invest forces, I don’t know what to do with it.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: I feel the connection with the upper world. On the other hand, also in this world. 

M. Laitman: That’s how it is.

Student: How do you have such a life that you’re in contact with the Creator, but also this world? How do we learn from it? 

M. Laitman: I don’t know. I’m certain that it comes to a person who is close to them.

Student: I’ve felt since I came to you for the first time that we’re under your screen, that you’re in some way concerned with us until we reach… And, also now. I feel that we are under your screen. Are you concerned that we are under your screen until we reach spirituality?

M. Laitman: No, not just until you reach spirituality. It’ll be okay.

Student: You’ll always be my teacher.

M. Laitman: I’m already not a teacher. I’m already like you.

Student: What’s our next state? Usually, after a Congress we think ahead. When a Congress ends, you always used to say in the last lesson what the next stages are going to be. We want to understand what the next stage should be. We have to start preparing. 

M. Laitman: The next stage is to recognize Lishma.

Student: To recognize? To know it?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So, at the Congress we’ll enter Lishma and start knowing?

M. Laitman: Not at the Congress. This is the period.

Student: So, after the Congress we just keep doing it, to know it more. Do you feel that we’re ready for Lishma?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Do you feel a group before you or do you feel individuals in front of you that come to study Kabbalah? In Bnei Baruch or Petah Tikva do you feel emotion among the friends into one?

M. Laitman: No.

Student: What are we lacking? People are investing their whole life every day. They gave up this corporeal life. They come here and listen to you every day. What are they lacking? Why don’t we have that glue that will turn us into a group, into one?

M. Laitman: You lack to thank, to be grateful.

Student: Thanks and gratitude for what?

M. Laitman: Look at your state and be grateful for that.

Student: What’s special about us that is different from other groups, other than different students. What’s in us?

M. Laitman: What do you have? Each and every one needs to enter the internality of their heart and that warm point that they will reveal there to pull it our in connection with friends.

Student: The fact that you were taking care of Rabash, his body, that closeness. Did it help you see him as great?

M. Laitman: No.

Student: You never had disturbances? You always saw him as great, as big?

M. Laitman: Meaning that I, when I was his assistant, I had this old man before me and it’s not that I received some trembling from that or fear or some dressing of something.

Student: That closeness wasn’t a disturbance for seeing him as great?

M. Laitman: Not so much.

Student: Does the teacher need for the student to see him as a great Rav?

M. Laitman: That each and everyone, as much as I saw people, I saw them as great, and immediately they would fall in my view.

Student: What were you most envious of Rabash about?

M. Laitman: I envied everything about Rabash. It’s impossible to say. Everything.
