Passover - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. (Come unto Pharaoh #54)

1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:28) From day to day we take another step forward and many friends feel it. We are progressing in our feeling and understanding of what is happening with us or lack of understanding and lack of feeling. Because as usual every step contains within it two opposites and that is how we are advancing. In every step we have a feeling of tiredness, a feeling of helplessness, that we are unable to do anything and once again we become incorporated with the friends, we come to the lesson, we wake up, as a result we hear what the friends are saying and out of that through the friends, as usual, every person through his whole ten and in general through our common ten, every person receives the strength from the Creator. So it is no wonder that before we come into our connection and to our assembly before the lesson, we feel very weak, as if we are lost.

Even with Rabash I would see it ,that before the lesson he would sometimes walk through the dark streets, and you could feel that he was searching how to approach. Once he came and sat with a group of disciples you could feel that he was now ready for connection with them because he had that inner need. For such a great man to unite with such small disciples but precisely through it he began to receive the strength from above and came to the lesson. Meaning a new measure of awareness, understanding, advancement, connection and so are we. So I like hearing what the friends are saying, at least in part of what they are saying there is truth. The Creator is in it, he accompanies us on the way. Let us read what Rabash and Baal HaSulam write. The excerpts are very special; they speak precisely at the state that we are in about how we rise above the feeling of this world into feeling the upper forces, feeling the Creator and how we are incorporate in these forces, in this way we advance in adhesion.

2. S. (07:55) Why do we receive the suffering from connection between us before we receive the corrections?

R. Because suffering is the vessel, the deficiency that we need something and then when we have a deficiency, a vessel or I ask and I receive and then I feel what I received and by having been deficient and now I have it, by this I connect to the Creator. I understand that it was he who specifically created the deficiency in me so that I would receive from him and connect to him and then both the deficiency and the filling become measures, levels of connection between him and I.

S. So everything that is happening in the world is opposite to what we need for him to give us the ability to ask?

R. Yes, the world seemingly disrupts us from turning to the Creator because we do not see or feel him. It disrupts us from knowing what we are lacking but it is all in order for us to on top of these two disturbances we will scrutinize exactly what we really need. This is why our whole life, our whole walking on the path is to scrutinize more and more accurately, correctly, what we truly lack which we can receive only from the Creator. That it was done this way to begin with so that we would advance towards him, connect to him, and be filled by him, by the Creator.

3. S. (10:15) What is the union of souls? What transition do we need to make to awaken this longing, how can we associate the Creator with this intention?

R. We are in such a big egoistic will to receive that we cannot feel anything outside of ourselves, outside of our bodies and therefore our problem is that we have to recognize it, feel how incapable we are of feeling others. Others are anything outside of myself. The whole of the feeling of life, the feeling of reality exists outside of me, and I do not feel that. I feel only what exists in me, in this concept of me and what at least seems to me that ideal something that is outside of me is also not outside of me. It is actually felt inside me, I feel it in me. So how can we emerge from this self for my ego, from my will to receive?

It is only if we perform actions and these actions can only be mutual in society, where I yearn where I perform activities forcefully, against my will, to give to them, to receive from them and to somehow enclose the place between us. So to the extent that we do it against our nature, by this we draw upon us what is called the reforming light, the force of bestowal, the force of love, the force of connection, the Creator. To the extent that each one wants to connect to the others even though he doesn't want it, by his own nature he repels it in every way, in his awareness and understanding and even subconsciously, in such a way that he acts in this way automatically inadvertently. The more we get into it and perform small activities and actions towards each other to that extent we awaken forces, even greater forces against connection and at the same time we get help, and we have the understanding and feeling that we must nevertheless be more connected and that there is no choice. That is where the Creator is found.

In this way through many actions, over perhaps years, we begin to accept the fact that the connection between us, that by breaking the boundaries between our hearts and our feelings and we transition from ‘me’ to ‘we’. We don't understand what it is, but I have to have it, I have to break it, this is called the barrier. So precisely by this we have emerged, we come out of Egypt this is called the Exodus from Egypt. Breaking the boundaries that disconnect our hearts. and coming into one heart, at least into a willingness for it, if not feeling the feelings. The real feeling will come later, but at least we should come to feel that without it I have no spiritual life, no progress and if I do not attain connection in the hearts, I am dead, I remain dead. I remain in this world as a beast, and I do not achieve the degree of man. Man is one created being made out of all the hearts, the distinct hearts that we see, and our purpose is to connect all of the hearts through the heart of each and every one.

3. S. (16:27) What is the connection between having to work and going to Pharaoh?

R. In order to discover the Creator we must turn to Pharaoh. We have to discover him more, connect to him more, to our evil inclination, what controls us and try to connect to it, understand how it operates on us, how we can work with it. This is great work; we have to be experts. The Creator arranged it so that this nature works from within me, and I know more and more every time how to work with it. Why it awakens in this way and in a different way, how I turn to, in every case and every situation. I have to study him and in all kinds of manners the more I study him the more I learn how much it interferes and disturbs me, by this I study the Creator. The ego is the backside of the Creator, just like in our world you cannot study any natural phenomenon without studying its opposite form.

Nothing is revealed unless with its opposite. So is the Creator, we want to discover him, advance, adhere to him so along the way we have to discover Pharaoh and in this way and as fully as the Creator, until they connect together, and you understand that it is coming from one source. It is split only in you because you have to consist of the force of reception and the force of bestowal on top of it and in this way you come to the complete perception and become by this the created being where you have the opposite force from the Creator and precisely by this you can feel and understand and adhere to him. Otherwise you will not be able to connect to adhere, to connect and feel. The created being feels everything to begin with because he is inherently opposite from the Creator. So look at how we feel anything in our world.

I feel something only by having its opposite from what I feel hot, cold, anything, pressure, I need to press something and feel that it exists, to touch something, feelings. You cannot have hate without love, rejection without closeness, we are always in the middle. Something that distinguishes between two opposite feelings so if we look at all those things in a healthy and correct way, objectively, then we understand that you cannot have one without the other. This is why I have to only have some sort of anchor that holds me and leads me in the middle between two opposites which basically together give me the understanding, the feeling, the awareness that there is one thing.

That the Creator, as it is written, the maker of light and the Creator of darkness, that you cannot have one without the other and it is like that in everything. This is why this is how we need to relate to everything that we are going through, especially when we feel disconnection, darkness. We have to feel in this, try to feel in this that it is coming from the Creator and that it is good. As it is written that a person must be thankful for the bad as thankful for the good and that it is clear to us that he is in the middle and can accept both from the Creator equally not being impressed personally but in a way that advances him towards adhesion. Because the Creator is a source of those feelings, both of those discernments. Clear?

S. When Rabash talks about work, he is talking about scientific work?

R. Of course it is a science too, what we feel in this world and that we can organize it in all different kinds of ways before us, it is also science. Kabbalah is also called the science of Kabbalah. The upper light that spreads in us and brings us the feeling of the Creator, the feeling of reality is called the light of wisdom, the light of knowledge, they call it a science too. You even have articles that say that the wisdom of Kabbalah is a summary, the source, the origin of all the sciences in the world. All the wisdom and teachings in the world because it explains to you what is happening in the forces and then we study in science how these forces materialize on a lower level and there we can already study them.

4. S. (24:12) We have been feeling for a few days, in the ten, heaviness and fatigue that we feel with other tens, so what is the cause of this feeling and what to do to overcome these states?

R. Good thank you for asking. Why? We as we study and work together and when you speak about yourself, I hear the prayer that you pray each day and other such things, normally doing this time I'm riding in a car with others. So together we listen to these things, and it is very interesting, it is very appealing, and it really warms the heart. So we have to come to a state where we see how by this we are helping one another. There is a reason why I started talking about it today because I saw with Rabash, how he was distracted when he got out of bed before dawn before the lesson, like you didn't know where he was, what was happening to him. He was kind of, automatically he would go to the restroom, wash his hands, sit by the table, and start his preparations to kind of recuperate, recover. So we need many operations just in order to wake up, to recover. It is good that we are preparing ourselves during the day as well. What else can I answer, I don't know, ask.

5. S. (26:44) What are we missing to feel in mind and heart?

R. What am I missing? Missing the heart, the feeling. How far we are from each other and how in the connection between us even a little bit, 1 mm let's say, we are this far but if we move 1 mm closer we will feel a great change in our perception of reality. That is how to determine how impactful it is. So this is why I recommend trying to make efforts, to return in this way to the center of the structure of Adam HaRishon just a little bit and maybe we will feel what we have because this millimeter that we move in these great distances that millimeter changes all of reality because it is happening among everyone. So the effort of one person can influence everyone. We will talk about it.

6. S. (28:31) To bless for the bad as for the good so we have these stages that you mentioned that we first have to identify that it is from the Creator and that it is good so when a state happens you can say that is from the Creator but how does it become good?

R. First of all, if it is coming from above it is certainly good. It is certain that it is good directly. If it comes through me, as a response, I also have to say there is None Else Besides Him and what I do the Creator set it up for me and he is directing me and leading me. That too is good but out of all those seemingly good things because in the end no outcast shall be cast out from him, and everything comes back to its root. It is a good thing that I am in constant prayer, that for every next step of mine I pray to the Creator to direct me, to lead me correctly, shortly, in a short way towards connection and bestowal. So it turns out in this way, that my act is a complete act.

7. S. (30:07) What is mind, Mocha in the ten?

R. Work in the thought.

8. S. (30:24) What does it mean to our efforts we come closer to the center of Adam HaRishon through the work in the ten?

R. Through the efforts between us we perform all kinds of actions which awaken the hearts of their friends, through them I can awaken my heart. Because I am impressed only from what is happening around me in the friends and I cannot influence myself but if I influence through them, they influence me in return. In this way I see that I can advance because envy, lust and honor bring a person out of this world, out of the place he is into a higher place. So if I awaken the friends then they later awaken me and in this way through our ego we operate on one another but as we advance towards the Creator this is called help one another.

S. How by what is expressed here that we are getting closer to the center of Adam HaRishon where can we discover it?

R. In our connection. Whatever we see in front of us, connection is the goal, by this we raise ourselves to correction. The correction is but all of us returning to the same form of Adam HaRishon, that round circular form and all of us will be incorporated in it and reveal ourselves at the center of the sphere, of this ball where all the souls as they emerge from the circular, spherical center so we will return to it. That is the purpose for our correction to be as one man with one heart as the point of one desire where we are adhered to the Creator.

9. S. (33:00) Regarding the awakening, the Yeshivat Haverim Team met yesterday, and we thought we had such a good week of opportunities, we have the unity event, in two weeks we have Passover, in a month we have Congress. We want to prepare the vessels to be excited and not miss the opportunity. How can you approach, as the World Kli, the coming period with all the opportunities we have and realize them?

R. I do not understand what you're saying. Aren't we doing the same thing now? Isn't there a Congress between us now? Are we not talking about the connection and how much to connect, to adhere to each other to discover what we can discover and the connection now to take a step forward towards our common connection? So every lesson is a mini-Congress even if I hear what you are saying during the day. What is it called? A prayer yes let's say a prayer, so when you talk or pray or sing, I feel in it a congress. A Congress means congregating, connecting it is the same action, it is the same activity but a convention, a congress means that we are preparing ourselves especially. Because much depends on preparation as much as you yearn for it, come to it and afterwards you see if you have achieved something or not. Maybe you didn't achieve what you expected to achieve so you have a bigger vessel and that is how we advance.

S. That is exactly that. The prayer is also during the middle of the day and are very moving and I'm imagining that there was a congress in a month, a physical Congress, I think we would be in a different state in terms of preparation towards it and next week we have a Unity Event, Passover which used to be so many preparations.

R. I guarantee you my dear friend. The minute we are ready for it will happen; it will happen. The Creator has no problem stopping this Covid, this disease. There will be no problem. To he who makes peace above, makes peace in our world and the world will calm down from all the wars and problems and we will have both time and the desire, the means to come to our convention. Even in Israel or elsewhere, we have done congresses in all kinds of places, and I remember that there too, it was beautiful. We will see. We need to first of all yearn to connect among ourselves in our hearts and out of this this is already a Congress and the spiritual Congress that we want to come to, which is correcting all of humanity at the end of correction will happen when we connect at the center of the connection, and then everyone will feel and then they will say in the nations that the Lord have done greatly with these. It is a Psalm about the return to Zion. So this is what will happen.

S. So to conclude, when the friends are asking now about awakening and heaviness and how to add more what can we add now before everything that we are facing?

R. As much as, the more we climb up the mountain the situation becomes more difficult. Of course toward the end of correction the disturbances will be even greater, we say Hoshana for three hours, it is a prayer for salvation; we didn’t learn it because we are not there yet. The final three steps before Gmar Tikkun, final correction, are very difficult. I don’t know that, but I just imagine, because it is the end of correction. Everyone must be there. We must all take place, and we will do it, it is all still ahead of us whether we want that or not. So, let us connect and do it, from day to day we have to see that the world is still following this plan, It is the plan of nature, it is within nature itself. So, we will realize it. The more we assist it of our own volition it will be easier and better for the world and the Creator and happier to the world; and in our attainment will walk with the Creator, we will help Him, and he will help us.

10. S. (39:24) What is the difference between a congress lesson and the daily lessons? It seems to me like we are talking about the same things. It also seems that the only difference is the importance.

R. Everything depends on the level of importance, our vessels, our deficiency but in truth a gathering, connection, is what it is all about. It all depends on whether we relate to it seriously and how we make it happen and therefore there is no difference. Every lesson is like a congress especially, you know how many people are connected to the lesson, thousands, much more than how much we can fit in the big hall that we used to have congress's in. In our daily lessons even right now, there are both men and women at a greater number than what we could fit in a congress.

S. What is it that we can do as your students, as Baal HaSulam’s students, what is it we can do to help each other realize because there are days that I sit in this lesson, and I feel like I am in a congress. There are days that I sit in this lesson, and I am cussing everyone. What can we do to help each other find that each lesson is equally as important if not more so than a Congress lesson?

R. I wish for you to wake up for a lesson in a state where you are completely shattered, and you have no possibility to awaken any muscle in your body and any muscle of your desire. The desire to receive, the desire to bestow that you want to awaken towards the lesson. The lesson, it means a portion, it means a portion of connecting and getting closer to each other and to the Creator. That is the concept of Shiur, lesson, portion. It is a portion and then another portion where we connect to each other and advance. So I wake up before the lesson I'm telling you seriously, I wake up before the lesson and I do not know, I don't feel, I can't even activate myself. Bit by bit, and this has become over the years some sort of process that is repeating and precious because I begin to feel from it, I learned from it that this awakening, this recovery is the main thing for me. How the Creator can awaken dead bodies. This is literally the revival of the dead that we do on ourselves every day and that is how you awaken. So you don't need to wait for it to happen, you do need to anticipate, to expect for it to happen and then by the time you come to the lesson you will already be at the peak of your inspiration and excitement.

11. S. (43:58) How can we unite and fight as one force against ourselves?

R. I don't think that we need to struggle against the bad force. I think we need to work on increasing the good force, the force of connection and not to think about the bad or the evil that we will see the evil awakens where we have to have connection. Then we will say thank you to the evil force for awakening and pointing to us where connection is missing and by that evil we will come to the complete connection and accordingly we will discover the Creator. Therefore the fact that the Creator said to begin with “I created the evil inclination”, this is necessary for us to discover him, otherwise we will not be able to discover light without darkness. Understood?

12. S. (45:22) There is a force of unity and a force of resistance, this unity we are trying to emerge from separation as much as possible and not remain there or look back. How can we learn, how can we study this force if we try to get out of it?

R. Do not worry. You only need to worry about the connection and then you will see how all of these things complement each other. There is no bad without good and no good without bad. As created beings we can only make distinctions between the two where they connect and complement and support each other. Then the bad and the good disappear individually and they both give us the revelation of the Creator as the reason for both of them and then we reveal him, the reason and between the two of us opposite forms that we used to feel as good and bad, light and darkness, all of those things, we needed that in order to reveal their source.

S. So we learned it in the transition not in the state where we only feel separation but only in the transition?

R. We always only attain what is in the middle. In any science and any feeling we only attain what is in the middle between good and bad, light and darkness and so on. That is how we are built. Because you could not attain one without the other.

13. S. (47:13) We should be equally thankful for the bad as for the good, if everything I discover is in the will to receive, how do I know what is regarded as good?

R. Good is connection and bad is a separation.

S. But how do I come to it ? I don't feel connection, I only feel myself.

R. Try to explain to yourself that all you feel as bad is bad from disconnection, from the lack of connection.

S. How do I promote it beyond comforting myself because I do not like feeling bad?

R. Start there, from bringing yourself comfort, you want to feel better, you cry about yourself, all right, so start there, it doesn't matter. As long as you begin to feel that our whole life is happening between connection and disconnection and that is what we call good and bad.

S. What is the indication that I have made progress, how do I know I am feeling the spiritual good.

R. When you begin to feel that there is no good without bad or no connection without disconnection, and you begin to treat both as left and right and that you begin to rise and not being not afraid of disconnection and descents and falls but that the darkness will shine his light.

S. Can I tell myself that I have advanced according to the measure that I love the friends more from day to day whereas before I had repulsion to them?

R. Yes, that too, when you begin to appreciate them, specifically them helping you relate to reality and discover him in a serious way and stand on it with two legs that without the friends you are just lost. Imagine if you now disconnect from the whole organization, this group, this whole routine that we have between us, what will happen, you don't know where you are and you're like in outer space.

S. I'm asking how can we break the ceiling that only getting to feel good for myself and I want to choose to love and not to feel bad?

R. You can but the problem is that what is a good feeling, what does that mean it is only in connection with the friends only there. Doesn't matter what happens there but if it is there between them it is good.

S. So if I am fixated in feeling the connection, it is like MAD?

R. Yes, we advance, we are advancing, it is good.

11. S. (50:42) Today we mention the common prayer, this activity we do. It is a wonder how it works, and it is a really special feeling. So how does it work like that? No one is managing it. It seems to be a mess but there is so much power to it, it is like a generator, and you connect to it for 15 minutes.

R. Yes right, because indeed we are all connected and there is one force that governs us and takes care of us each and every moment and we only need to become included in it and try to gather ourselves to the extent that we are drawn to collect ourselves around that force. Then we already achieve adhesion with Him, and this is called “I for my beloved and my beloved is for me”. To the extent that we all gather and want to achieve adhesion with the Creator, this is called “I for my beloved'', by that we discover “my beloved is for me”, that He is coming towards us and even ahead of us, and he prepares this whole meeting point for us.

S. What should we learn from this simple activity because it is something new that didn't exist before? What should we take from it to have more things like that?

R. What we need to learn is that our days shall be as new. That every day we will feel that we advance. That is it. We discovered more aspects of connection and coming closer and supporting and the necessity to support each other; and this is how we build a center of connection for all the souls In our world right here, and in spirituality.

12. S. (53:25) How will I feel as I build the connection with my friends? How is this feeling different from the corporeal feelings?

R. This feeling is that if I detach from the friends, I feel like a child who lost his parents and doesn't know where they are all of a sudden. He doesn't see them in the middle of the street or somewhere and then he stands and cries if it is a little child, and, when he is asked he is crying and asking where's Mommy? and he doesn't feel that she is there and when he sees her, he runs to her, and he wants to really immerse himself in her. So, that is how we should see ourselves.

13. S. (54:39) Is there a limit or a monster that you come to that lets you know that you've deflected or veered off or it doesn't matter what you discover as long as you can somehow hold on to the friends, it is fine?

R. If I'm holding on to such an organization like ours, a big organization of many men and women that are aspiring to increase their connection from day today in order to ultimately reveal the Creator according to the rule of The Last Generation, then I cannot lose myself. I have to be certain that I am in an army that is moving towards the connection with the Creator. What we have left is just to overcome the ego between us so that this ego will actually become a force of connection. First, we neutralize the ego, which is called: bestowing in order to bestow; the degree of Bina. Then we even transform the ego from in order to receive to in order to bestow and that is only from the degree of Bina to the degree of Keter. It is all before and it’s not that far.

S. I've never had such concern regarding what comes out of the ego as I do know. I am often afraid of opening my mouth. I feel like I have nothing to contribute but I'm just trying to hold onto the raft but I'm afraid of opening my mouth.

R. We need such feelings and moments of well as well because each and every step we make happens through two opposites and therefore for now when I am in a certain moment on the path, I do not know what is going on with me, I see everything as lost and only in this way I can actually detach from that step I've already made and make the next step. But it is necessary that in every case I have to determine my routine, my system. Meaning that I come to the lesson again or my conversation with the friends and such other activities, because specifically they, bring me back to the process. There is nothing to be afraid of, it is all before you, you just need to achieve Arvut. Arvut means that I sign between us in the ten, now, when I have the strength, that they can come and do whatever they want with me, whatever they decide if there are such moments where I cannot decide anything about myself and I might have such moments where I resist them. So, there is no such thing even if I resist them with all my strength, they would not let me go; they have to obligate me to stay on the path so much so that we actually sign on it like in the army; you are called and if you are assigned you have to come, that is it, they rule you.

14. S. (59:07) When we have a conflict in the ten, a good conflict, intense, there are two conflicting thoughts in the ten and they can't get along. How do we connect without trying to blur the conflict pretending like it doesn't exist?

R. First of all these things will always happen. We see these things between the students of Rabbi Shimon why did they want to kill each other and were against each other because in progress you discover the gap the chasm between the friends and then they work to cover that chasm with love, so it actually helps them raise the love between them, because love covers all crimes. Love doesn't erase things, we have to learn, and this applies to families as well as anything, we have to learn how we overcome with the understanding that we are a single system and we complement each other and everyone has a place, and our connection brings us awareness of the Creator, the connection between us. It's not that I make a concession and give up on something and he gives up on something that's politics, our calculation is a different calculation that love covers all crimes. The crimes remain within, the love grows on top of them, I don't really have the words to explain this we have to learn this, that we both exist. At first they exist separately and then we fight, there's a time to collect and there's a time to scatter, both have a place we will learn that. These things are still far from us, still difficult.

15. S. (01:01:36) We learned that in order to come to the right deficiency we have to work before that. Now we often use such terms as Arvut, mutual responsibility and prayer and love our friends. How important is it that we work with our hands and legs before so that we come to the right deficiency or is it only in the thought and internal efforts?

R. More thought and inner effort, yes.

16. S. (01:02:15) Regarding what you said that there must be mutual commitment, just like signing, so if someone falls we raise him up, mutual responsibility. The question is if not everyone can be that committed how do we nevertheless create one ten?

R. Carry them with us as much as possible. There are always friends that are stronger than me and friends that are weaker than me. I want to be connected to both the weak and the strong and in connection between everyone we succeed. It’s impossible in the ten that everyone is on level ten, like in our world, in life, in our family we have to help each other. There can’t be grownups if there are no children.

17. S. (01:03:23) The way you speak about this, the daily prayer, the friends are so excited about it, is this connection in feeling?

R. I am very moved by these things that I hear during the day, how you are speaking, how you all talk about it. I’m moved by that.

S. I feel nothing from it but is that it ? Why hasn't this great prayer succeeded yet, why are we still below the Machsom, barrier?

R. The prayer, their prayer cannot succeed if you don't work on yourself on the contrary it may invite in your feelings of disrespect, disregard, and through that disregard slowly maybe over many years you will then come to recognize the importance.

18. S. (01:04:58) Why did you say that the difference between Bina and Keter, what is the difference? What are the actions we do in the ten on the degree of Bina and on the degree of Keter, can we tell the difference between the two degrees?

R. How can we discern, Bina is bestowing in order to bestow and Keter means receiving an order to bestow from Bina to Keter we already correct the vessels of reception in order to bestow but from Malchut to Bina it's bestowing in order to bestow, it’s two parts will learn that soon in the introduction to TES.

19. S. (01:06:23) Why did the Creator say that it was he not a messenger and how can Moses help us in our spiritual work?

R. That we need to understand that we are dealing with the Creator only and even if we speak with the friends and we want to consider connecting with the friends by that we still discuss and relate to and speak to the Creator even though it seems to me as the friend in front of me but behind the friend stands the Creator.

20. S. (01:07:05) How do you relate to that state and how do you work with it? What do you do if a state comes where you stop feeling of sweetness or bitterness in the work, how do you relate to that state, how do you work with it?

R. That he lacks sensation, that he doesn't put himself well enough into the process, not incorporating with everyone, not studying sufficiently. if he leaves then he stops feeling all these flavors.

21. S. (01:08:01) On the one hand we say that with the effort comes the light, on the other hand our work is not to deal with the connection all by ourselves but to ask the Creator to do it, so what should we do, go forcefully against ourselves or as the Creator every time?

R. Go to forcefully go against oneself and ask the Creator for connection.

22. S. (01:08:32) Is the millimeter moving closer that changes all of reality that you talked about in the beginning of the lesson, can it happen only in the ten or in other systems where a person is with people such as at work?

R. Just to advance with regards to what we discussed now with the men, and I don't have much to add here, let’s hear a few more questions but it seems to be the same.

23. S. (01:09:05) How can the ten help in discernments of mind and heart in order to go in the right direction? What's the self-test in a person according to the change of mind and heart that they are good signs on the path?

R. As much as I feel that the group is the necessary environment required for me to advance to the goal.

24. S. (01:09:38) If everything I feel is only what is in me, how then do I feel the friends, unity, and spiritual worlds?

R. They too are felt in our will to receive what it depicts to us we never feel outside of it we always feel what we feel in our will to receive.

26. R. (01:12:50) Meaning before us is really an opportunity each and every moment to turn to the Creator and ask him to change us so that we are closer to him, or understanding of him, feeling like him, being like him, and by that we attain the closeness and adhesion and the Creator in each and every moment awakens us and invites in us a response. We just need to not forget about it, we just lack strengthening each other that this is what's happening to us each and every moment in life that the Creator is giving us an opportunity, continuously, it never ends, from moment to moment, to turn to him and ask to be involved in what he's doing with us. He invites different states in us, and on top of these states we have to ask him to correct us. That's it nothing more it's a very simple kind of work.

27. S. (01:16:05) How can we help the friends in this spiritual readiness in everything, that there's none else besides him?

R. We have to show them how in each and every moment it's not that I need to see the disturbances but what I see are awakenings coming from the Creator for us to turn to him and to ask for connection, for mutuality, in order for us to advance together, that's it, and that the Creator presents us with different failures along the way, it's an order for us to ask him for connection, that's it. See what he evokes in the world, wars, problems, troubles in every moment and every person, why? It’s in order for us to eventually discover that the only thing that's missing is the connection between us and between us and him.

28. R. (01:18:23) That it seems to us that there are other forces that are standing in the way against the Creator, the Sitra Achra, Pharaoh, different other forces that are separating between us and between us and the Creator, it's all on purpose in order for us to discover that there there's no one cruel in the king's Palace, there are no wicked in the king's Palace, there are no real forces that are standing in our way, but that all these forces are there in order for us to overcome our ego in order for us to be able to unite with the Creator. As it says, “I am not a messenger,” that only none else beside him dwells, rules the world.

29. S. (01:19:15) What does it mean that we tell Pharaoh together that the Shechina, the divinity, in revelation, it should be the opposite?

R. These two forces are pulling us towards the goal Pharaoh becomes revealed the Creator becomes revealed and both of them get closer to each other where both the forces of good and the forces of evil they both stem from the same source they both connect to the purpose of creation.

30. S. (01:23:23) All the questions about the Congress, the holidays, there everything is clear, preparation and attack but what is the importance of routine for a Kabbalist?

R. The entire way consists of four phases, Behinat, that this is the way they cascaded from the upper light up to the point where it builds the will to receive, the Malchut: four phases of direct light. Then in order to prepare the Kli, the vessel for it to be able to reach the degree of the light, for it to be able to receive an order to bestow, we need to perform or make many preparations in that vessel in order for it to be ready for it so that in those discernments and preparations will enable the vessel to become a light, to be the bestower, to receive from the light a force, to receive from the light all of its qualities, and to build itself in a way that it will be able to function like the light; so that everything in the light will be dependent on the vessel and the vessel will perform these actions as if it activates the light, and by that the created being reaches the degree of the Creator. This is what the Creator, to begin with, implanted this ability in the created being, to enable to the created being to perform and reach such actions as does the Creator; and both of them go together both the created being and also the Creator. That’s called: the light and darkness that are really supporting each other, there is no one without the other. And, that's why in the Kli we discern many different discernments by which the Kli is trying to reach those same actions, the same content as the light has, and therefore there are many different points, signs along the way, that are the Sefirot and Partzufim and the worlds; and in them aside of being different also in them there are different discernments that we feel that they unite the different degree, bring them together. These different discernment is what we call Chagim, holidays. Chag, holiday means a hands of the clock that goes in a circle, that everything goes around, and then we have these four discernment in the world of Ein Sof. But when they spread, when we break them down into parts, we see many more discernments that intermingle, they mix with one another and give us different forms; special forms of connection, as a result of the connection between them and therefore that's what we get the Chagim from, the holidays, the special days, as we call it “times for better times for worse”, even though that we understand that there are no “times for worse”, but all bad needs to be revealed in order for the created so to later on feel that good, because there can't be one without the other, and that's how we advance

31. S. (01:28:34) Today at 2:15, at 4:15 Israel time, you said that our work is simple, we just need to ask the Creator all the time nonstop every moment to ask of him, what does that mean?

R. It's not that I said, so it's written, “I wish that they would pray all day long,” that when a person is in adhesion with the Creator, it means that he is all the time asking the Creator asking for vessels, then asking for corrections, then asking for fulfillment, and all that is in order to bestow, in order to be in the intention or to bestow, and therefore he is all the time turning to the Creator whether it's for the vessels or for the correction or for the fulfillment through which he achieves adhesion, and therefore what follows is that we are turning to the Creator all the time ,really? Even now even now we are turning to the Creator, but we don't feel it it's like a baby whose crying he doesn't know who he's crying but Mom knows what he wants even though he doesn't know and can't ask, can't talk, she feels him understands him and takes care of him. It's the same with us we need to understand that to turn to the Creator at every given moment this is our correct state.

32. S. (01:30:25) Tell us please, sometimes we're just asking for connection, simple connection, at what moments do we ask for the ascent of the vessels?

R. When you will discover that you want to make an ascent for the sake of the Creator in order to give him contentment then you will pray and ask. First you need to feel what can you do to the Creator's benefit ,what would you like to do, what are you capable of doing, and how do you pray for it?

33. S. (01:31:21) In the ten we have to reach agreements from time to time and it's very difficult. You said that Pharaoh helps us feel how many disconnections there are between us so that we can turn to the Creator, so will the right thing be to speak less and to pray more, to ask more from the Creator instead of arguing?

R. In time of dispute, argument, I need to search for joy that I have an opportunity to annul myself toward the Creator, towards the friend because to that extent I annul myself towards the Creator, and this is actually the reason for which the Creator is revealing this dispute, strife between us, that he is awakening them in order for us to concede to each other, in order for us to be closer to him, to get closer to him, to the Creator. Try and implement it and see how useful it really is, instead of being right in an argument, to concede and to come closer to the Creator.

R. No, the sea monster is a fairy tale or something that the whole of creation, the entire will to receive created by the Creator is called a monster or a whale. At the End of Correction we will all sit at one big table on a world, on a global Congress, that the entire world will sit around the same table, and we'll eat this monster this whale, meaning that all the flesh meaning that this entire animal created by their Creator he created it in order for us to receive it in order to bestow this means to eat it.

S. So this monster is scary right?

R. Scary, why?

S. It's written that Moses was afraid.

R. Well sure, now in the meantime there is the whole of creation, the matter of creation set in front of me ,seeming so big, how can I overcome it? If he becomes a bit revealed in me immediately I surrender and I feel that I'm powerless and I don't have the intellect to deal with it the mind to deal with it so what are you do? You continue, continue, I'm telling you, you have no choice, you have no choice, you have to keep on going, and eventually the reach a state where this monster is not that frightening but you see it as the necessary reality that’s necessary for the Creator to be able to reveal himself the Creator prepared for us and we'll sit together with the Creator and all the righteous of all the generations and the entire world and everyone else and everything together and we'll sit and eat it all together and the whole of reality will be able to receive in order to bestow is this great big light which is called to eat the monster, creation.

35. S. (01:37:04) Regarding the feeling when Pharaoh is revealed, he was there previously in the times of Joseph he was also there, but it wasn't there. So start this feeling so what's new about the situation and how should we feel him with the same sharpness of with the case with Moses?

R. It's to the measure to which we advance Pharaoh grows. When the children of Israel came to Pharaoh, Pharaoh he was fine, he was nice, he was great, he makes room for everyone, he cares for everyone he brings Joseph close to himself, and in general the Egyptians they're doing unimportant work and Israel they get this nice good place and they flourish and prosper, Pharaoh is good but then gradually as Israel go and grow and start disagreeing with Pharaoh, that they start criticizing him and one way or another then Pharaoh and the eyes of Israel becomes, bad and then there is a dispute called the seven years of hunger, Pharaoh says don't give them this, don't give them that, let them suffer until, he doesn't want to let them leave because, precisely because they are in Egypt is Egypt flourishing, but afterwards as Israel starts to behave inappropriately, so to speak, the ten plagues come to Egypt and then Pharaoh has no other choice but to banish them, and this is how we need to see the process that we're going through.

S. (01:39:23) In order to catch Pharaoh with the same sharpness and to work with him, is the revelation of the force of bestowal required?

R. Of course. This means that the children of Israel are in Egypt, that they're working on their connection and they start feeling their will to receive, that it's giving them the opportunity to advance, these are the seven years of satiation, when we’re in a group we help each other, we advance and through our connection we wish to acquire the spiritual world until we were reach a state where we see that we can't, we're incapable of doing it, and that we can't attain all these things and many run away from the work and this way, this is how we are advancing towards the exodus from Egypt. These are things that will learn on ourselves about ourselves but the more we advance the more quickly these things appear, it's like with technology for example that were moving to Hertz, kilohertz, megahertz, terahertz, it is the speed of time.

36. S. (01:40:58) What does it mean in practice every day that I let the Creator fight for me?

R. That you and your friends want all the time to have a connection hold your connection and this connection is the Creator and you're all the time asking him to tie you together and accompany you towards the whole and complete connection.

37. S. (01:41:38) Everything that you've explained today and for the last seventeen years. How does all of this keep us on the path to wholeness?

R. If you implement what we’re learning about then you're advancing towards wholeness and perfection, that's the only thing I can say. If this is what you're asking about then there's nothing I can add.

38. S. (01:46:08) How can we rise above this beast of fear within us?

R. I have nothing to add, I have no advice really to give here because it also says about our path that our entire path that there are many states that bring a person fear, weakness, despair, disappointment, different feelings that encompass him, envelop him, making it difficult for him to take another step and here the only help that can come is, and this is was what we said at the beginning of the lesson, that it is only when we reach the state that the friends artificially, maybe they too don't have the desire, but artificially they connect, talk, sing, read, and then you're included of what they have and the light that reforms works on you. You start receiving something that exists in the system of Adam HaRishon, and the more we try to envision, imagine ourselves trying to become like the system of Adam HaRishon, accordingly, correspondingly we start receiving some kind of Illumination, radiation, and some kind of bestowal, and this is what saves a person and therefore it is not a problem that everyone’s falling and everyone’s lowly and you don't have the strength or you don’t have the desire, but it all is depends only on the system of connections that we establish between ourselves which projects the upper force onto everyone.

39. S. (01:48:51) You said previously that in the quarrel we should look for happiness. What can I do when my intellect wins, how can I make this happiness happen?

R. Talk to the friends and ask them for advice, how can you from your weakness, how can you awaken towards strength, how from disappointment can you come to joy, happiness? Ask them and see how to do it, that's called “by help each other their friend” because I don't have anything else, we talked about it so much, and the friends they can help you more than I can
