1. Rav’s Introduction: The war against Amalek. We exist in a reality that is constantly developing from the will to receive which is existence from absence, truly from zero, from absence and this will receive is constantly being revealed towards itself more and more throughout history in the forms of still, from the big bang, and even before that. Whatever else we will discover that there were other periods, meaning stages of development. Until the will to receive becomes more and more revealed on the levels of the vegetative and the animate and speaking, it is revealed on the level of speaking human in such a way that if the will to receive would not reveal itself as the opposite of something, then we would not be able to distinguish where we are. Therefore, something and its opposite is actually everything that we can attain and feel for the created being where he is and how he exists, with respect to what does he exist. This is why after a person discovers for himself that he exists in this egoistic form, in a certain reality that is called this world, then after that begins a stage that is called the recognition of evil. And then one begins to attain how much his desire is to his detriment. it lets him and it does not allow him to see the true reality because he sees everything only through his egoistic desire. Here a person who begins to develop, who does not agree with this limited life and usually he wants to know what the essence of life is the purpose of life, the source of life. That is, to get to know the upper source so he comes to the wisdom of Kabbalah and here he is taught who he is, what is his nature. That his nature is, in particular, against the nature of the Creator, and it is all in order for him to be able to discover who he is, that he is opposite the Creator, and from that later on reach the Creator who is opposite him.

This force that is called man's ego, man's will to receive is also called Amalek from the acronym Al Menat L’Kabel (in order to receive) and it is revealed in a person in states where the person is already capable of recognizing, understanding who he is and what he is, what is this desire that is inside of him. Because these desires work only for its own benefit and this desire first and foremost exists within a person and the person identifies with it, he thinks that the desire and him are the same thing. To the extent that one develops more and more out of the study, and the preparation in the group, then one begins to distinguish between his will to receive and himself. That it's not the same thing, that upon the “I”, the self, which is already the point in the heart within the person, over that the will to receive in order to receive clothes and then the person identifies with his egoistic will to receive. Until he begins to see that it's not the same thing but rather that the will to receive is a separate thing and man's self, the point in the heart, is a separate thing.

Then the person begins more and more to distinguish between these two discernments, so much so that he begins to have a struggle. From the point in the heart to this clothing over the heart clothing, the egoistic clothes and this collision we call it the war against Amalek. This is a war that the consequences of it we see all over the world. Everyone is in all kinds of degrees of the will to receive, and we are all in collision with each other. What the Creator did deliberately between us in the shattering of the Kli of Adam HaRishon. All these vessels that started colliding with each other, they will start to understand that certainly the most important thing is to take advantage of the situation and to defeat others. I will be king, I will rule, this is what the personal Amalek tells each person.

We have to study it and to understand how we can rise above it. This is why all of our work after we learn a little bit of the wisdom of Kabbalah and we start to discover within us the struggle between the two forces and the inclination towards the Creator and the inclination towards our ego and we can see how opposite they are. We read about it really in all the text of Kabbalah talk about it. Then we realized that our whole work is called the war against Amalek and in that war of course we cannot win but rather it is the Creator. That is why it is called the war of the Creator with Amalek from one generation to the next and the person just has to be in the middle and try to make it so that these two forces will collide so that he will a scrutiny as the advantage of light out of darkness. This is how he will advance with the correct spiritual advancement because it is impossible to discover the Creator unless it is Amalek that exists within man's heart.

2. S. (11:37) We said that we can't defeat Amalek of ourselves without the Creator's help. What does it mean?

R. We need to try as much as we are incapable of standing against our ego if we truly want to stand against it then to be in the force of bestowal. We immediately discover we have no forces of bestowal and no desire for it even but rather only some inner drive. Maybe for those who have a point in the heart and they try to develop that point in the heart and they see that they are incapable of it doesn't really become stronger but rather to the contrary the more a person advances he may feel more and more how weak he is. Rabash would say that now you also know that you are a rag. Meaning the more that we advance the more weakness we discover why? Because this is what the Creator did on purpose in order for us to need him more and more because we have no forces. We are in the middle; we are like the expert point. We don't have the will to receive which is ours and not the will to bestow which is ours neither one. The will to receive this is Amalek, in order to receive the force that is opposite the creator, who is the force of bestowal.

Neither the force of bestowal nor the force of reception is our forces. This is what this creator says, he himself is the force of bestowal, and he says, I created the evil inclination and I created for it the spice. We discover that we can't do anything not from the good side nor the bad side, rather these states control us. So, if so, how can we determine to some extent our development the pace of our development? We scrutinize it and we see that the pace of development, this is what we have to change and we can change it and this is through our efforts in the ten that's on the one hand. This is why we must relate to our will to receive as an angel, or a messenger. It comes from the side of the Creator and if we relate to it in such a way then we already are above it. We are already in the Creator's place that he uses the bad force one time the good force, another time in order to give us all kinds of such discernments that are opposite to one another in order for us to become experts, knowledgeable about all of the qualities of our nature.

S. On the one hand I have the will to receive on the other my will to bestow both are not mine. I am a rag in between. How do I call the Creator to fight the war now?

R. What do you have?

S. Nothing that's what I'm saying.

R. There's no such thing as you don't have anything, that's not true. This is the problem that you think you don't have any things, you have a method, which is called the Torah and you have the teacher. You have something that you can study and you have friends with whom together you can apply the study. Don't say you have nothing.

S. Okay so using all the means that we have the teacher, the Torah, the 10. How do we call the Creator and how do we invoke this acting force to really fight?

R. This is what we study all the time. If you implement it during the day, that's fine. But if you only live from one lesson to the next and in the middle of you disconnect from the realization and the implementation from the morning lesson of course you will not advance. Just like now we are studying right now we're studying the war against Amalek. How we enter a fight of the Creator against right the force of bestowal and the force of reception. There standing one against the other, how do we or what can we do between us or between them? How can we arrange these forces so that they will influence us in such a way that we will advance towards the Creator? This is actually our work.

S. During the day I try the friends try we try working fighting but I simply want to understand what is it that the force of the Creator comes fights and we defeat Amalek?

R. The force of the Creator is revealed and if he fights and wins on the condition that you want it to happen this way. That you want to discover the force of bestowal and then the Creator becomes revealed. That you want to discover the force of reception, then Amalek is revealed and you are in the middle. You actually determine this entire process of this war and a person should feel to what extent two forces are operating within him.

S. That we defeated means that we simply get an opportunity to bestow?

R. That if you win to the same extent that you are winning, you are subjugating your will to receive and it enters the will to bestow then it will be to receive in order to bestow.

3. S. (19:39) Why is this war long?

R. The war is long because it starts from the beginning of the spiritual process that if a person goes through and to the Gmar Tikkun, end of his correction until the end of correction because it cannot be that this whole process which is actually the revelation of the Creator to the created being who exists in this world. 4. S. (20:49) You said that Amalek is a force that exists on all levels of the desire. I think that in life we are acquainted with this force but actually it's a force coming from the Creator that we would gradually have to reveal. What are the questions that Amalek gives a person, we hear that Pharaoh asks a person how can we get to Amalek through his questions?

R. All of the disturbances against connection against turning to the Creator they are all Amalek however there are such that are small, these forces, and we cannot quite discern them but later on, if I lock myself on the Creator then any deviation serving me from aiming myself only towards the Creator, I can already say it's Amalek.

5. S. (22:31) It says what we just read that it's possible to complete the evil inclination only by strengthening our spirit and then a person wins the war we're on and on one hand he becomes despaired, on the other hand he grows stronger where he starts everything new. How do you combine these two qualities to despair and become stronger on the other hand?

R. We have to work on it there's nothing you can do about it we have to work in the 10 in the group and as they write from where did they write all these articles, our teachers because they participated in the war with the Creator on one side and Amalek on the other side, the work to receive the works of the Keter and Malchut, it doesn't matter how they discovered these things and out of that they write to us what are the relations between all of these forces on all of the degrees from here to the end of correction and we have to hurry up and discover them.

6. S. (24:01) If I understand correctly winning the war of Amalek. In order to win the war, we need correct prayer to raise the right prayer to the Creator and this comes through the correct work in the 10. If we are working in the 10, how can we really know if we have the right intention that we are doing the right work in order for us to win this war?

R. If you depict to yourself, that you are standing in front of the Creator and the thing that stands in your way to discover the Creator. Which is the force of bestowal, force of love, force of connection and not what you depict Him in an egoistic way that you might imagine. On the contrary, that you stabilize Him correctly in front of you as the force of bestowal, love and connection and what stops you from advancing towards these forces is called Amalek that is it. You need to look for ways to deal with Amalek, you will discover that you cannot fight it because it has control on you to start with, the evil inclination is the bad in a person from his youth, and all that you have left to fight it is prayer. And the Creator doesn't need more than that because you activate Him according to your request. And if you don't activate Him then He won't take any action. The Creator will increase more and more the force of Amalek in you, in order to show you how much you are losing, until you will get smarter and understand that you need the help of the Creator otherwise you are lost.

7. S. (26:10) How can we help a friend if he has a huge rejection, he cannot fight it? What is the connection between pride and Amalek in our work?

R. These are all the forces between that we have to discover and the most important for us is to realize that until we discover the prayer correctly to the Creator then we do not all levels from the smallest to the greatest.

8. S. (28:05) How will we see the avail of this evil inclination with the past and how can we move forward without (Rav continues)

R. We need to think not about Amalek but about the Creator, how much we are constantly yearning for him to reach adhesion, connection, to resemble him and Amalek, well through our efforts towards the good he will also grow his bad in order for us to have two balanced forces. As it said the Lord has made one opposite the other. This is how we will advance we only need to think about the good force of bestowal and connection and when the bad force will grow opposite, we have to understand it and constantly they understand this thing, that one who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater this is how it needs to be in order for us to have a balanced approach for the revelation of the Creator on top of Amalek.

9. S. (29:29) How important is it in every given moment to correctly define who is putting these obstacles before us Pharaoh or Amalek?

R. It's all the will to receive that the Creator created opposite himself and there are many names for it as we read already that there are many names to the evil inclination. Amalek is simply, the highest degree of the evil inclination, that we read before all kinds of names we don't yet know them and this is according to the names of the Sefirot but this is not important for us. What is important for us only to see that these things have to be revealed one opposite the other, if we discover the evil inclination in the manner opposite us, we cannot discover the good inclination.

10. S. (30:48) How in the group can we come to thank Amalek that he is raising us to the Creator through his opposition?

R. We need to relate to the forces of nature not with hatred but with love and realize that the all the forces are aiming us through the Creator are meant to bring us to the Creator and this is why we have to use all of them as it says a person should bless over the evil inclination as well as the good inclination as it says, come in peace the angels of peace, ministers of the upper one. That by these two forces of person enters the end of correction and connection with the Creator it's not from our side but from the side of the general system there is no difference between the force of the Creator and the opposite force, the created being, they lead us to the end of correction. Therefore, in our eyes we shouldn't think that one is better than the other. Both of them are forces that develop us. one should be less over the bad as well as over the good.

11. S. (32:39) In medicine we say that understanding or revealing the problem is 80% of the solution, does the same principle apply in the work with Amalek?

R. Even more because besides locating, detecting what it is that we need to do, what we have to do, the Creator does the rest and we turn to him and ask.

S. For example I feel that the Creator he is tripping me, I see that it is Amalek but I feel that it's something I can overcome but every time I try to, I can't and it is hard to come to the understanding?

R. I suggest that you will be more connected with the friends then you will find the right way to connect with the Creator through Amalek and see that Amalek is actually what brings you out of Egypt, brings you out of the desert. He specifically by fighting with you he awakens in you such forces that obligate you to hurry up in the spiritual work.

12. S. (34:08) What is the right demand to the Creator from the 10 in order to defeat Amalek?

R. Yes, this is the right demand in general, any appeal to the Creator is a right one even egoistically because bit by bit a person starts to understand how to correctly.

13. S. (34:55) Yesterday you said that once a person feels connection with the friends, he feels that his entire life turns into a shell, that's the first acquaintance with Amalek?

R. Amalek becomes clearer to us not immediately and not in the time we are in Egypt but when we have already come out of Egypt, we are not truly in order to receive, rather we have a little bit some forces, some inclination in order to bestow. To that extent we can already discern where here is the quality of Amalek. It is hidden deeper within us and he starts to show himself Amalek after a person rises above his ego a little bit and then that quality called Amalek pulls in back into his ego.

14. S. (36:23) You told the friend to connect to the Creator through Amalek. How do you do it correctly?

R. We will study the other excerpt soon and you will see, it's a good question but we will try to study it through the excerpt.

15. S. How do we manage to enter this work as a reward?

R. These are actions in which you can show how much you are loving, how much you are yearning, how much you appreciate the Creator spirituality. What does it mean in a war? For example, lets you say when you meet a girl and you want to show her how much you are a man, mighty strong and also, it's the same thing here. These are causes for love that you need to show how much your inclination towards what you love is a very important one and how you can show the importance upon the fact that there is an opposite force which is against this love. Then you can perform actions by which the love grows stronger, how can we make the Creator greater if not for Amalek specifically out of our spiritual work where we elevate ourselves through 125 degrees until the end of correction. It is all because of Amalek I would say even in the merits of Amalek that he is giving us a burdening of the heart and upon this burdening each time we rise higher and higher and higher. This should be clear to us just like even in our egoistic world we have such examples.

16. S. (41:51) What does it mean that man strengthened himself in prayer and I cry to the Creator?

R. That by a person realize the two forces, not in just one force and it's not just his force or rather he himself is neutral and he exists between two forces, the positive and the negative and the Creator in such a way wants to develop him so that man will ultimately be incorporated with the positive force and the negative force however the positive force will rule over the negative force this is called that love will cover all crimes. This is how I am and we'll build himself out of being a zero on his own just a point but it takes he takes the desires to receive from Amalek and the desire to bestow from the Creator and this way he positions them one upon the other and therefore it always has to be that the side of the Creator will determine, it will be the higher one the more important one this is man's choice.

17. S. (43:32) Why does he compare the prayer to war?

R. All of our work because it is against the will to receive rules us, it is a war the will to receive wants to rule, we are aware of it, we realize it.

18. S. (44:22) It says that the exile intensifies, what does it mean?

R. To the extent that we advance, disconnection from the Creator from the Creator which is called exile from the Creator it is becoming more and more difficult this greater and greater burdening of the heart. R. We are dealing with each and every situation we are engaged in it, but despair of the work is the worst possible state than a person feels that he is powerless. that his hands simply fall and there is nothing he can do. Even though it is impossible to go through the entire path without despair because in despair a person sees and discovers how helpless he is on both sides, the good and the bad side, though the Creator disconnection from bestowal, from the influence of the light and the influence of darkness. Then when a person is disconnected from both of these influences then he has nothing to rely on. It is the worst possible state but here, there is the group that can only already take a person to put him on a stretcher, strengthen him up to the point where he comes back to life.

S. This despair is when we, why do we still have despair when we escape Egypt?

R. This despair will be there until the end of corrections and against that we have to all the time strengthen our connection, draw the light of Hassadim, Mercy, in mutual bestowal where we help each other in this is the only way we will be able to advance. If you're not thinking about advancing through connection and mutual support then you will not advance.

22. S. (50:40) We learn that Amalek, the Creator, what gives us the direction to the Creator before we come out of Egypt?

R. Before we came out of Egypt, we had no Amalek. We are under the rule of Pharaoh. Pharaoh is not Amalek prior to that, doesn't seem opposed, an enemy wanting to destroy Pharaoh, no. He says you were and I'll give you everything you need me and I need you. Let's make some business together. Whereas Amalek doesn't come in order to kill when does that come, when a person is in the direction of the end of correction, is still far from it, just came out of Egypt, but he already has a line and he follows it. Then comes Amalek and says I will not allow you to advance, Pharaoh isn't like that, he says with your life see everything is open the land of Egypt, it is open to you go ahead. S. What gives us the direction to the Creator inside Egypt?

R. R. If we will be concerned with our spiritual development then certainly our corporeal processes will change as well, if we will be concerned with spirituality then our corporeality will invert into worse and worse states in order to awaken us to search for the reason for the bad situation. The quicker we understand that in connection and consent and a good attitude towards each other we can benefit our situation then if we try to correctly form, shape our connection, this way then we will be saved from the evil forces.

25. S. (56:50) Will the Amalek grow as we progress in the study?

R. Amalek will always come against the revelation of the Creator and the more the Creator grows the more Amalek grows, as it says anyone greater than a friend his desires are greater than his. That's how it's supposed to be one opposite the other otherwise you won't be able to discover the Creator. If the forces opposite him will be small because they have to be as great as the Creator.

26. S. (57:42) He tells us here that it's better to be in a state of pressure in the argument conflict but not separation. But it says that there is no better day in man's world when he is despaired of his own forces so how can we cope with despair and work with Amalek?

R. You confused a few verses and excerpts and you're connecting them without any reason every time we have to scrutinize what is good and in order to reach the end of correction in relation to that and through this scrutiny we advance. Also, from that we understand that with that bad forces, the good forces they are equally important and it is impossible to achieve anything unless by love covers all crimes so the crimes after corresponding to love and vice-versa to be one way and the other. We cannot build a new world. We have to understand how it is built and from that to come to correction. So sometimes, it's night and sometimes it is day and this is how we advance right left right left right. Therefore, we have to simply know how to act in both of these states but they come day after day night after night and this is how it's going to be and you don't have to wait for a day that is entirely day to come. At the end of correction there will be a day that's entirely day that means darkness and as light the darkness will be like day because of our corrections that there will be no darkness that we discover everything in concealment. That the concealment will be 100% but we will discover a 100% correction and that as if were in day, that's how it works.

27. S. (01:00:34) What is the difference between concealment and the rule of the evil inclination?

R. Concealment is a feeling and the rule of the evil inclination is determining the state. It is possible that I am under concealment but along with it, I thank and understand that it is concealment and from it I build my future state. Concealment can be an actually very beneficial time for advancement. The Creator didn't create anything just so but each and every state that we go through is necessary.

S. Is the rule of the evil inclination specifically through under concealment?

R. Yes, especially.

28. S. (01:01:45) Can we hasten the time by praying?

R. And only by prayer.

29. S. (01:02:06) If the main weapon is prayer how do I know that my prayer is heard by the Creator and I get answers from him?

R. If you don't know yet it doesn't matter you have to continue in prayer but the prayer has to come along or go along otherwise it is powerless.

35. S. (01:12:29) What is the power of unity and what does it mean that we get it through Mordecai, the righteous?

R. Mordecai, the righteous, means he was found in the connection and Haman was against the connection. These are the two forces we have in nature. Those who connect and the ego is no longer working there, rather it's the opposite, they turn the force of separation into the force of unity and there they discover the force of unity which is the Creator. “Only in Rephidim from the word ‘separation,’ this is why Haman slandered. What did Haman tell the king? “There is one nation scattered and separated. Since their whole power was in unity and now, they are a nation separated. In truth, this is why we couldn't destroy them.” And through the sins, the forces of Amalek awakened and did not let them unite. What was the advice? Go and gather all of the Jews who have to be assembled for them to come together and pray for their soul, for them to understand that connection is their salvation. We're not talking about corporeal death, here, but spiritual degrees, and all of this comes entirely through gathering, assembling. Now the righteous Mordecai joined them and they became connected through him since he had the power of unity.

36. S. (01:15:36) This process of Pharaoh, Amalek, and Haman is a methodical process that repeats every year within each one of us?

R. It is a process that all of us have to go through. Each and every one of us regardless of your sex, nationality, the nation you are a part of, regardless of the part of history you are living in. This is something that happens with every desire to receive that disconnected from the rest of the desires from the shattering of Adam HaRishon. And after that sin, after this destruction of the vessel of Adam HaRishon, all of his parts have to advance that way towards correction.

37. S. (01:16:54) All of the degrees of our paths are described in TES. What is the value of hearing about all of these stories and all of these characters with Egypt and Amalek, Purim?

R. If you will just study TES, you won't understand where it is inside of you, how you are related to this, where are these degrees of Aviut, coarseness, Shoresh, Aleph, Bet, Gimel, Dalat, inner light, surrounding light, the collision between the Reshimot. You won't understand what it is all about because you're not in that system.
