After four elections in two years, it turns out that Israeli politics is hopelessly entangled. This stubbornness leads to the same result after each election and the country has become paralyzed. Despite the difficult socioeconomic situation, Israelis remain entrenched in their own opinions. This stubbornness is typical to Jews. We could say it is a curse. Those who claim they are right and can save the country honestly believe that they are saying the truth. It is not simply foolish stubbornness. Eventually we will reach a state where we see that we have no choice. One way or another, with the help of the upper force, we will ask and ascend. But this will not come from our intellect, as our stubbornness won’t allow it. There is a force that is stronger than Israeli stubbornness, the force of nature. In Gematria, nature equals God. This force can change our stubborn nature. After all, God is the most stubborn of all, which is why we are also stubborn as this is in our root. We can overcome our stubbornness only when we understand that there is a higher purpose, and that this higher purpose tells us what to do—to reach the state of “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Reaching mutual love from a state of separation, indifference, and even hatred, will solve all of our problems. This “divine mind” has nothing to do with the religious/secular divide in Israel. It is only about the upper mind that can help us see a higher principle, that we have to progress to come together “as one man with one heart,” all of us together, and this is what can save us from any potential harm. We can use our stubbornness by attributing it to something new: instead of each one using it for self-aimed purposes, we need to use it for the purpose of reaching unity and love among all people. We have to accept that genuine success depends on unity and love among all of us, and accept that this is life’s leading principle. To that end, we need to understand that all parts of reality are interconnected except for us humans in our attitudes to each other, due to the egoistic force acting in us. We need to change our attitude toward our egos. Instead of sitting stubbornly in the corner with our own opinion, we should seek how to unite above these inner rifts between us, and aim to convince everyone about this and change the country as a result. It could be that elections will take place in Israel every six months or so. The world is laughing at us. But we do not need to suppress or erase Jewish stubbornness as it is a beautiful part of our nature. We simply have to connect it with a new and positive inclination to unite above our divides, and this is something we can never give up.
