Recently, there has been an upsurge in mass shootings in the United States, and dozens of lives have been taken. The terrorists performing these heinous acts live among us and emerge from our society. . How can the public deal with this? There is just one thing to do: we need to educate human society so that we can elevate ourselves above hatred and division. We need to show humanity that there are eternal principles and values, and we can all exist in them. It all depends on education. There are educational systems for the acquisition of knowledge, but these are not what we are talking about here. We need an educational system that teaches us how to build a human being in the fullest sense of the term. In other words, we need to teach what the meaning of life is and how we can exist together, and not how to use each other to profit individually at each other’s expense. If we know how the world works, then we will know how dependent we are on each other. We can then gain the knowledge and the feeling that we destroy each other if we fail to take care of our education. Until we upgrade our education to start teaching why and how we should live together peacefully and happily, then we can expect more such horrible acts as mass shootings.
