Envy is one of the strongest emotions dominating us these days. Sometimes we try to hide it because no one likes feeling envious. This feeling appears at an incredibly early stage in life. To this day, I remember as a child, when one of the neighbors bought a better car than ours, I felt like “dying,” just waiting for the day that we got a new car. Envy such an intense emotion because it is a direct hit to our will to receive. The will to receive is my sense of self. Society today is such that people like showing off to each other, and this makes one feel like they are in a constant race, trying to keep up. The thought of not envying one another is rather appealing, just living life quietly and simply, making do with just the things we really need. You can quite envy on the condition that you correct your will to receive, meaning that you will want to do for the other more than for yourself. When we do this, we bring ourselves closer to the Creator, who is the force of bestowal and love that we exist in. But we do not feel Him and the reason being, that the force of love and bestowal does not exist in us, and thus we can't identify Him. Envy is destroying us. It disconnects us from the upper force. We can connect to Him and get rid of envy on condition that you try to persuade yourself, convince yourself that getting rid of envy is the greatest gain that a person can ever get, more than anything else you can acquire. To get rid of envy is to simply be free, not to look at the world, but to look only at bestowal and love. We are able to do this with the help of a society that helps us to develop a deficiency to rise above the ego, above envy. A person acquires the upper force and allows and asks the upper force to be the influence instead. By this a person comes to envy the upper force, the Creator, meaning that one envies that the Creator is almighty and has the ability to bestow, to love, to give, to connect everyone. The Creator doesn't think about Himself, but he excludes Himself. He works outside of Himself to the benefit of everyone. The gain is that I'm in everyone. I exist in everyone. I love everyone, fulfill everyone. I enjoy the measure to which I help everyone to become fulfilled. By that this new person acquires the force of love and bestowal, which is the opposite of envy and a different kind of envy. I now envy those that can bestow more, give more and who can exit their self-love.
