How to Not Go Crazy if You Just Won Millions of Dollars

Four people in the United States have recently won together a bit more than $1 billion. It is the third biggest lottery win in the history of the United States and prizes are growing bigger. There is a well-known phenomenon that people who win these huge prizes have a bigger chance of bankruptcy. This luck lies in that these people have received an opportunity to try and relate correctly to life—to organize the necessary forces in order to deal with the temptation of buying extravagant and unnecessary items, such as yachts, airplanes, or even some city. A person is unable to digest or fully understand this magnitude of his luck. A person who is lucky is one with the ability to be in the right direction in every state, and to always be able to choose the happy middle between intellect and emotion. Sometimes a person is lucky in certain things and unlucky in others so that he can find a balance by himself, checking to see if these things are a real need in his life. This entire system of luck comes from nature and depends on the general calculation, in which all of us are together, which is called the general soul. Here the forces that operate on us come to each and everyone of us in every given moment. How and to whom and when this is decided is something we do not know. In order to derive more luck from this system, one must want to use the forces of nature correctly, with the desire to see the entire system in a correct and balanced way, and to be able to see it as such for myself in each given moment of my existence. A balanced person is someone whose intellect and emotions are balanced, where his force of reception and his force of giving are also balanced, regardless of his different drives. By balancing himself he can serve as an example, in his behavior, toward benefiting everyone.
