Reincarnation is something very mysterious about which we have heard many stories. There are many cultures that believe in reincarnation. There are cases, for example, of Bedouins who knew who they were in a previous life. Is there such a thing as reincarnation and how does it work? “The Gate of Reincarnations” by the ARI and in the Zohar too, there are articles about this topic. It is not as people think, that to incarnate means that now, for example, I am living in this body that you see, and that one hundred or two hundred years ago I was a human being but with a different internality. These things are unrelated. Was I always a human being or maybe at some point I was a cat, a flower, a rock and looking forward, will I always be a man, or sometimes a man or a woman? No to all the above, simply nothing! To incarnate does not mean to change our external biological clothing of flesh and blood. All of this is unrelated to the incarnation of souls. A soul is a divine part from above, meaning the force of bestowal that exists in a person. Those that have no force of love or bestowal do not have a soul. There are those that say they know who they were in a previous incarnation, but that is a lie, and nonsense! It is better that the entire matter remains mysterious as it somehow keeps a person humble toward others and makes people treat each other more positively. Can I do something today so that in my next incarnation I will be better off, rich as opposed to being currently poor, smarter than I am now? Can I do something today that will assure me a better future? It is best to say yes to this, for by it, you will do good deeds in this life, in order for you to be a better person, you will be prompted to do good things toward everyone, bestow good to all and you will for sure not lose as a result of this. Were I to know who I really was in the past, would that help me in better understanding who I am today? It has nothing to do with one another. If you were to come to me and pay me to tell you something about your incarnation, it would be an outright lie. It has nothing to do with our lives, but with the life of the soul. An ordinary person has no such thing as a soul. He has to really work a lot at it in order to reach a state where he incarnates, and from the incarnation of souls he will see how he can improve his desire. So in order to start reincarnating, we first of all need to develop a soul. We have to develop a desire to bestow. The desire ‘to bestow in order to bestow,’ is called a soul. To bestow means to give, to be willing to do good to everyone, to come out of yourself. You will discover that there are incarnations in it, that every time I renew my egoistic desire, I have an opportunity to correct it, and from that perform greater actions of bestowal, love and connection. We are reincarnating toward a state where you reach love toward the entire world, where you simply exist in the general quality of love, in all your desires, and that is called the end of correction. Everything that you had, all your broken egoistic desires, are now corrected and now you see and understand and feel the whole of reality.
