To Bestow Contentment to the Creator - Selected Excerpts from the Sources, #14
1. Rav’s Introduction: We can bestow contentment to the Creator from one thing only when we work on the correction of the broken vessel of the system of Adam HaRishon and its correction can be only through us trying to come closer between us. We ask of the Creator for forces to come closer because we are not capable of it and we are asking for forces so as not to despair from the fact that each time we find ourselves more and more helpless, distant, weak, far away from each other feeling rejection, lacking the goal. This is how it is each and every time, each and every moment from one day to the next, we discover greater, deeper levels of the shattering. It's natural that one who yesterday nevertheless got up and connected with the friends and took part in the study with the same forces, today he cannot connect with them and take part in the study, in the connection, in the embrace between them. He needs new forces each time the shattering is revealed in a different manner and opposite we need to rise to a higher state of correction. This is why as it says they shall be as you in your eyes each and every day you and as it says day-to-day utters speech that the directions that we are performing will eventually bring us all of the discernments that are required for the general correction of our vessel for connection, for 10 Sefirot. then we will discover the place where the Creator is revealed. Also, when the Creator is revealed, he is revealed and disappears, revealed and disappears as it says that he is a hiding God.
This is how we advance; we discover the shattering that for the time being is revealed in the concepts of this world, in lack of connection between us, lack of desire, but later on it will be in a way that is more concrete. We will be truly rewarded as worthy of feeling to what extent we are in true darkness without any grip of anything. In mutual hatred to one another, today we're not discovering that yet and then that way upon that each and every time we will try just to remember the fact that we need to give contentment to the Creator. That this should be our only intention in order to bestow and why shouldn't we get anything out of this we are to the contrary we are engaging and things that we still repulsion and are hated by for us to give him contentment. This is how we are establishing the spiritual system that is stated by us that repulses us, that does not seem to us as good. We do nevertheless establish it before us as something that is beautiful and good and desirable which is the complete opposite of our nature however, we do, nevertheless from one day to the next, overcome and go forward and we establish that vessel called the Adam.
This is how, through each one shall help his friend and the Creator is helping us to the extent that we turn to him and we ask. This is how more and more from one day to the next we can detect to ourselves the form of our work, how important it is for us to work against our desire and against the repulsion, against the hatred, against indifference. Specifically, to realize that all of these forces that are opposite to the awakening and the connection, these are actually assisting forces that are revealed as a result of the shattering. They, specifically, are the true evil inclination that awakens against the connection between us not just some mood or something but rather that I want to connect and I feel how much I have within me forces of rejection that are distancing me from it and they are not allowing me to overcome and to embrace and to get closer to the friends. This is how we will discover it. There are many things to it, actually the whole wisdom of Kabbalah exists in this process where we discover how much we don't want anything and it's even the opposite. We forget, we don't remember anything from what was yesterday but rather specifically those achievements that I had yesterday, connection and understanding and in the feeling,
Today they become the opposite, they are revealed to me today in the opposite manner, that that I don't want connection, I don't understand anything in my mind and in my heart. I begin from the state that is worse than yesterday, that is all of yesterday's achievements have become failures and disturbances today. This is how we advance, specifically upon all of yesterday's successes and we begin to arrange these things to think about them more and more to tie between them and to realize that this is how it is in the wisdom of Kabbalah. This is how we connect more and more in our hearts and in our mind and we take these broken vessels and we try to connect above them. Then we ask of the Creator that he will help us in that because we are not capable of it. Just like little children who are not capable of doing something in their game, so then the child cries and we come to him and we help him and we show him how to do it. This is how we succeed so between us we just need to discover how much we are not capable of it but you know what here to discover that we are not capable of it. We need to approach the correction and to want to perform it. Later when we see that we are not capable of it then we cry out we cry we are ready, have a basis with which to turn.
That is that whatever we achieved yesterday we do feel how much we are not capable of anything today we did try between us, to connect the broken pieces, the broken vessels between us and we're not capable of it and if we're not capable of it, how can we give contentment to the Creator? How can we come closer to him, all of us together? Where so it so that we pray and for between us we'll be able to ask if him that he will dress in us and he will enjoy up above from our desire and we just want to connect and be a vessel so that the Creator will fill it and he'll enjoy from us and we in that have nothing but only that we give him pleasure. This is how it is every day, each and every day we try to establish our vessel and the Creator takes part with us together, truly as a partner, a complete upper partner. He corrects the Kli and he dresses in the kli however he just requires from us, an effort in order to ask of him for his help. More than this he doesn't want. He doesn't need and we are not capable of more. Our whole stature is in order for the new Reshimot to awakening and this is how we will then advance.
2. S. (12:00) It's very easy to start the day anew. There is, here, that we have to stop and look at the situation that we are in and what happens is that if someone awakens this question, he awakens the left line actually?
R. We should all try to make an effort and as much as each one is going through different states and as much as each one succeeds in his effort of being connected with the others, this is already according to our effort. Whatever will come out of it, will come out of it. I don't take that into calculation with regard to the entire vessel. Rather I try to do what it's ever possible and I awaken the friends and I ask of the Creator together with the friends that he will help us to be as a vessel that he can correct and fulfill and enjoy from. In the end the Creator does everything he gives us the initial conditions out of which we need to try to correct the connection between us. He fulfills the connection between us according to the equivalence of form with him to the extent that we are capable of bestowing to each other, we want to bestow, we want connection, so he can also fill the connections between us. He doesn't feel any one of us, he fills the connections between us. This is how we begin to discover him, in the will to receive in each and every one of us he doesn't enter, he enters the connections between the desires what we call restriction, screen and reflected light to degrees of bestowal between us. As much as we want to connect the mutual bestowal and build this connection between us in that network the Creator is revealed. This network is called the Shechina and he doesn't feel the will to receive itself, the will to receive remains the way It is.
S. So how can you know if it's something that we don't discuss then I simply have to rise above it and that's it?
R. I need to talk with my friends to the extent that they want to talk and not to push myself individually and not the individual form of each one, unless we are agreeing to evoke an examination and checking our connection between us. We need to be careful about how much each one wants it so that it will be done with a good atmosphere between us and not through pressure. So that the friends will not run away from the connection but rather they will always see in the connections and nevertheless a state of progress, good progress.
3. S. (15:58) Every now and then we start a new state, does it mean that we failed in the previous one?
R. No, of course not. we do not fail in truth we never fail between us we never fail as it says that you are elevated in sanctity you are never lowered in sanctity if I am in such a big group like the global group of Bnei Baruch. Like today I am even going forward even if I seemingly did nothing however I exist together with them in this general process that is advancing and this is why we are not retreating and we do not call we don't even stop. Try to be each and every day if I take part in the daily lessons already, I am with them in this process.
4.S. (17:17) Is the Reshimot something personal or is there such a thing as Reshimot of the 10?
R. There is a Reshimot of an individual person and a Reshimot of the 10 and all of the tens, 50 tens, 1000 groups of 10 until we reach the general Reshimot of all of the entire Kli all the soul.
5. S. (17:57) There's some kind of burdening and rejection that is and how do we overcome it? What are we supposed to reveal?
R. All of the hardening of the hearts that we have that from one day to the next will become more and more difficult, if once I could jump up in the morning and would run to the lesson there in the middle of the day or in the evening depending where I'm living on the face of the Earth. However, if once, I would wake up joyfully with an awakening. I was all fired up regarding this whole thing, I am engaging in the wisdom of Kabbalah, in the Creator, in the soul, in opening up spirituality. So later on, you know already later on I fall from that a little bit in my 10 turned off that the initial awakening and so on and so forth. This is natural, what does it mean it is natural? Because all of the records are revealed from the lightest to the heaviest and we need to implement them and in that I have no other participation except that I need to overcome whatever it is I need to accept, whatever the Creator is awakening. These are my Reshimot from my shattering in my soul and I need to sort and to establish my soul in its corrected form so that it won't be disconnected from connection with the other souls. Rather it will be corrected in this connection and may even awaken in its work adjacent souls so they will also connect together so that we will cause a fraction. correction the reconstruction of the general soul of Adam HaRishon. This is actually my goal, by this I give contentment to the Creator. I need to ask for correction from the side of the vessel and he will bestow with the light of correction and fulfillment from the side of the light.
6. S. (20:54) What you said in your introduction you said that to the measure to which we connect the rejection will grow up to a point where we will become completely disoriented and that this is a normal process. In order to reveal and overcome this process we first of all have to one, the question is how is it possible to want it and what has to proceed this desire or is it just Reshimot?
R. You're getting from the reading and from me you are getting state so that all of our work is from the connection of the general desire the soul that was broken and we need to put them back together. To the extent that we put these pieces back together even the smallest pieces, we start from the individual 10, already it has in it some feeling of spiritual life and already the light can be received and it can exist inside of the 10. There are all of the elements, all of the laws of the general Kli and hearts that are connected correctly to one another. What we need to do is to ask of the Creator that he will correct the connection between us since we cannot connect it, it should be clear to us. How only to ask him like children they try so sometimes it works out for them but usually no and then we show them how to do it, this is how we need to do it with the Creator precisely according to the same laws, according to the same actions we try to connect.
We need to discover how much were capable and not capable of it and when we discover that we nevertheless or not capable of it, this actually is the end of the work as of now on our side. If I discovered that I did everything and succeeded in nothing then this is my work, I did it, I finished it. I realized I'm not capable anymore and this is called the Lord will finish for me and I ask the Creator, that he will do it. That request needs to come out of the crying like with children out of despair, out of our great efforts and then we will be rewarded with the Creator coming and helping us. This is how it is. This is called serving the Creator serving the Lord, that we try and he reveals to us our inability, and he reveals a nice a desire to turn to him and he enjoys it, that he is revealing this to us. We are responding correctly and this is why it says I wish you would pray all day. That a person should always turn to the Creator, however through the 10, through the 10, if it's not through the 10 then it is considered a voice crying out in the desert that nobody hears it. Therefore, we need to try as much as possible to connect between us internally and to reach such a feeling that we are all asking for the same thing and we are turning to the same force between us. As it says for our hearts will delight in him, rejoice in him because he is one for all of us. Because of this, this is how we reach connection, we reach the connection with our deficiencies, with our demand from him and then he, opposite that, creates a connection between us and in this connection, he starts to be revealed.
7. S. (25:56) Suppose I feel despair and I don't know if the friends feel the same, the thought from the Creator, is it something that happens inside of me that I have to complete with my prayer because I cannot see what the friends are doing and want but, in my thoughts, I can identify it?
R. We are in 10 and in those 10s there are very different people. according to the foundation of the individual soul of each one. That doesn't matter to us how different we are what matters to us is how we are all directed and aimed towards the upper force that he will connect between us and he nevertheless connects us above the individual egoistic desire of each one and this is why here it doesn't matter who are you and who am I and who is he. We want connection through the reflected light in the desire to bestow and this is how we connect. I do not criticize anyone as much as we are great and small, each one is different. One might be already ten or twenty years in a spiritual process and the other one may have become a year ago, 2 years ago, it doesn't matter, it's entirely unimportant.
This is how the Creator is putting us together, he is bringing us to a single place and he says take that. This is your destiny, connect with whatever I am giving you because those are the parts of your vessel and I must not look at the bodies of the friends and all kinds of discernments. I am not familiar with the spiritual discernments. I don't understand them so I simply need to try to connect together with them in a deficiency for the Creator that he will make of us a spiritual vessel. When he makes the spiritual vessel, he wraps us and he makes us into a single desire then I start to understand slowly a little bit over a few actions I begin to understand what is going on. How do we come together, how come somebody came two months ago and me who has been here for twenty years, how can we be connected in a single vessel? But this is how it is, it doesn't work according to the seniority or according to the character or anything but rather each one whatever he needs to ask for the time being, this is how he becomes connected. In truth it doesn't matter because the Creator changes each time within each and every one his internal spiritual discernment. As for the corporeal discernment we can't take them into account so it turns out that each time it is truly a new person and I do not look at whatever was before but rather whatever I have today.
8. S. (29:59) Can the upcoming Congress be an opportunity for us to cry out for the Creator as all Bnei Baruch?
R. I hope very much that you will use the Congress as a place for prayer, that all of us will raise to the Creator as it says that the explanation is the raising your hands to God, that we will raise up to the Creator whatever is in every heart that we will be able to connect all of these things so that a single heart will come out of it, which is asking the Creator for a correction and fulfillment in order to bring him contentment. That is it.

9. S. (33:07) There is this feeling that the Creator feels everything that goes on inside of me, all of my thoughts and desires and everything and because I have different thoughts, I am ashamed because not of all of my desires are directed towards bestowal but what do I do because I'm not in control of them?
R. I don't even take into consideration which thoughts and which desires awaken in me, I don't take that into calculation, what I consider is how much I can aim myself upon that towards connection with the group and toward the Creator. If I will start to sort and check all of my desires and thoughts then I will get into my corrupted will to receive. Well excuse me, it is like I am getting into some filthy place and I take part in all the trash that is there. I don't want that, I want to rise above my individual desires that are all of course corrupted. I want to rise towards connection between me and the friends and between us into the Creator. This is my work, my work is first and foremost to make a restriction over whatever awakens in me, not to enter into these broken parts that become revealed, in which there is nothing that is correct and good and pleasant but rather to the opposite. As much and quickly as possible, to rise above them and to be above them, in the opposite form from them and to connect with the friends who are also making similar efforts. How to turn to the Creator and that he will help us to rise even higher into work above all of our common egoistic desire in order to turn to him, in order to build a vessel of bestowal. This is why I don't want to follow my corrupted desires. My thoughts, no, all of my work, immediately, quickly as possible, get out of it, there is no commandment or any kind of excellence or anything good in being for even a single moment inside this place of stench.

10. R. (37:16) We always each time that we feel that we are far from spirituality that we are for ourselves we get upset at ourselves that once again this is happening to me, God forbid, be grateful to the Creator.
Reader continues: “However one should believe....”
R. (38:25) That is following that initial impression that once again I have that revelation of my great desire to receive, I now in the next stage right after that, I realized that all of these things the Creator is revealing them to me and created them in me. I created the evil inclination, he is revealing them to me so I will start to work on it in the right way.
Reader continues: “One must believe from this....”
R. That is as much as my desires are revealed in a way that I hate them and I see them as corrupted and above them I want to run away from them and somehow correct them in some way, to get rid of them or even invert them into the opposite. Specifically, from that I am giving contentment to the Creator specifically from the fact that from the depth of my desire, I begin to awaken, to aim my attitude to him in the opposite way from which I will rise to elation, to rising towards the Creator. Then I begin to appreciate the magnitude of the will to receive, the depth of the will receive that it is obstructing me and did the extent that this is helping me.

R. (40:27) There were a few stages so the first stage is that I want to cancel it and then I realized that no I don't want to cancel it, I want to invert it so that specifically above it, I can build my true resistance to it and I can build the vessel of bestowal.

R. This is how we specifically through the will to receive, that the Creator created from the fact that he broke it and everything that we go through specifically thanks to the preparation that we get from above, from here we can reach a state where we do connect to him in the right way, mutually in that part of the will to receive that exists in each and every one of us that can already be in order to bestow so then we by this become adhered to the Creator.
11. S. (41:53) Like you just said not to go into this place of stench and to that desire but practice shows that one way or another it pulls you in. You are pulled into that stench so should you give it some attention because otherwise you can't just disregard it?
R. I understand what you're saying however this will take quite a bit of time, of course it will happen nevertheless and even if you resist it or you don't resist it, you will get into the will to receive and you will be immersed in it for some time, months, years, maybe. However, you should just know that if we agree to it then our agreement to dwell in the will to receive prolongs the time of our correction to making it a very long time. It might even be years, it could be dozens of years and this depends on the intensity of the soul actually the great high souls have a much greater will to receive than the light souls. Those great souls, they truly require they need to overcome many obstacles and go through a lot of time of corrections and indeed this can take 20 years or 30 years until a person comes to spiritual work above the will to receive, when he rises above the will to receive. When he performs the actions that we are now talking about in order to reach those actions that we are now talking about nevertheless each one has to go through a few good years. There's nothing we can do about it this is our correction.
12. S. (44:31) Can we have some kind of example, what does it mean that there are big desires in order to receive revealed in me? I can't discern that maybe I don't think, I catch myself, I'm not thinking about the 10 but I can't say that it's for my sake or not?
R. Try to criticize the measure to which you can tie what is going on with you to the 10 and how many times do you think more or less about connection, about your soul meaning, to what measure do you pay attention to you with the friends to you having a soul all together. How much through the friends you want to be connected to the Creator or that you're relating to the Creator somehow internally, personally which is really a kind of shell by yourself on your own and it doesn't matter that it's the shell because the food of the upper is waste for the lower, this is how we grow.
S. So when it disappears thinking about the ten it means that a will to receive is being revealed in me?
R. Of course, it's not that it was revealed in you but is that the will to receive is truly in control of you that you are disconnected from spirituality, in the meantime spirituality for us is connected in the 10 or being disconnected from the 10. That is the difference, that is the discernment between the two worlds, still not two worlds but somehow in the area.
S. But nevertheless Rav, we hear throughout the entire raise them that this is for myself, this is not for myself if I am in thoughts for myself meaning the Creator personally, for myself there is no discernment that it's for myself there's disconnection from the thought of spirituality so why is it considered for myself that state?
R. For myself means that I'm disconnected from the group and then it is for myself or I'm connected to the group then it is an order to bestow. This is the only thing that I can scrutinize and it is true. As strange as it may be and unaccepted by me, in the meantime it just shows that this condition is really like Baal HaSulam writes in his first articles in The Arvut, The Mutual Guarantee, that it is all given to us for our connection and that there is no other way to scrutinize it.
13. S. (48:08) How does integration into the center of the 10 divert us from that stench of the ego that you were just talking about and does that become an act of bestowal towards the center of the 10?
R. The fact that we want to establish mutual connection or ties between us in order to make room for the Creator to reveal himself, this is to bestow to the Creator otherwise why are we connecting. We have to try and change the essence of our connection from wanting to gain, receive, acquire to the entire purpose of our connection being in order for us to be able to bestow to the Creator through that. Once we will be able to change the direction, the essence of our connection in that way in even one gram, it doesn't matter how much it already becomes a spiritual vessel. We cross from the feeling of this world to the feeling of the upper world, it all depends on the essence of our connection is directed towards us or not, it is written we have to do this or but that's because that's also good. We also have to think that this is something that is truly great that we are connecting because it says so in our books by people that have already reached the revelation of the Creator and wrote to us about it and that's why we are keeping it. That very thing, it is a great privilege how many such people do you have in the world and we were chosen to do it. One way or another the Creator wishes for us to near him for all of us to do it you know and of himself all of us together but where does the true spiritual elation begin in practice? It is from us asking from our connection to be to his benefit to give him contentment for the Creator and not for ourselves. That we have to make a restriction over ourselves meaning that no matter what happens, I don't want anything. Whatever comes as a result of our connection, whatever is revealed in our connection for it to be in order to bestow. Once we are capable of asking for something like that for it to happen, that moment we become an embryo, we become that very first cell that starts developing into a spiritual soul, into a spiritual vessel. Meaning a 10 that are connected, that want to be connected, that want for our connection to be such that we will be adhered to the Creator like a drop of seed inside the womb that clings onto the walls of the womb. This is what we want to be connected to, meaning to completely annul ourselves and in that to be completely annulled towards each other, all of us together end towards the upper force. That means that we enter Ibur, conception and this is what we actually have to try to make out of the 10. It's not so much of a problem, I know it might seem as a problem that it is a wonderous path but we just have to try to make it happen. The Creator does it all, we just have to find and detect these things as much as we can and ask, it all depends on our prayer on our plea, everything is a chief prayer by the power of prayer.
14. S. (53:13) What are the relations between whatever the Creator awakens in me and what I am supposed to ask for correction, connection in my relationship with friends?
R. We turn to the Creator in order for him to correctly form my attitude towards the friends, I don't know what in order to bestow is, I don't know what the right network of connection between us is. No matter how I depict it to myself one way or another it's going to be egoistic, that's certainly not something that pertains to spirituality. I'm kind of asking him to connect us correctly, to arrange us correctly like it is in a group of children. Then there is this woman that takes care of the group of children and she tells them you have to hold each other by the hand and stand in a circle and be together and sing together as if you are a single system. So just like we teach children how to play together mutually, in this form there are several degrees, there are those that walk in a circle and sing together and good, nice kids. There are those that are already taught how to build something together, how to add to each other, there are those that are told, furthermore or you can also play one against the other for this game to awaken pleasure in you. Still, it is called together, so there are several things in the connection that you can't tell each other apart, like in a circle where you can differentiate yourself from one another but you are in the same direction that you are advancing and you are performing opposite actions, suppose we act something out but we are still advancing and so on and so forth. We will get there. We will see why these things happened in spirituality and why do we have those results in corporeality and how do we get to learn from one and the other.
15. S. (56:08) How can 10 friends enter work that is always more internal in order to give contentment to the Creator?
R. We do it with the help of the upper light, the common force that is working on us that is connecting us, that is bringing us closer to one another and then we go into our common work. If we cannot tell what the next step is in regard to spirituality, we remain like babies that don't know how to move. That simply I have no idea what they are doing but it is all through the guidance of the Creator who teaches us and makes us and if it seems to us that we are growing and then some of the actions we do ourselves and that is incorrect, completely. It is the Creator who is already dressed into me to some extent, he helps us, he gives us the opportunity to use this force. Then we know how to walk, set right, build, do something. It's all by his force that has already dressed in us but when he moves away from us, we would have been just like we were born without any understanding discernment the ability to make the slightest movement.
16. S. (58:08) What is that state of searching for the deficiency of or lack for connection in the group?
R. It's a beautiful state where I am not searching according to my own deficiencies but according to what deficiencies I am lacking. What am I lacking in order to find the click, connection, the correct connection with the group? That I enter and it goes click and I lock myself in the group. Maybe it is for now, maybe later it will change. But where can I find that state, the deficiency of the group, my own deficiency, and for these two deficiencies to complete each other where then we are in mutual connection. The group feels that I'm missing from the group and I, of course, feel that were it not for the group, I would have no point of contact whatsoever with spirituality. This is how we reach connection, (but) first of all, to discover mutual deficiency in one another.
17. S. (59:23) We learn that through our despair we come together with true prayer for the Creator. I remember, myself, when I came to study Kabbalah, I came from despair in life and I've learned until now that it was a very painful feeling, so should we go through all of these feelings until the end of correction?
R. If we are in a 10 and I feel that there is a set table in front of me then everything that awakens an appetite in me, I feel that soon I will be able to fulfill it. Therefore, it is not something that I am regretting but it all depends on the measure to which I am part of the group because in it I find all of the fulfillments. The only thing missing is to depict to myself that the group is in a whole, complete and perfect state and that I have to connect to them and through them to receive my fulfillment which is where I want to be in order to bestow. This is where I get the opportunity and the fulfillment. We every time have to change our attitude, our approach, the reason. Then we will feel that we are in front of a set table, a Kli that is a full and infinite Kli that we are in. It all depends on the measure to which we can establish and arrange ourselves.

18. R. (1:03:58) Meaning not to regret those years that went by that as if we were redundant. Maybe, as if, a person wasted ten, twenty years and what about that? He gets mad and’ what is going on’? He has burned his life on it. We have to understand that there is none else besides Him, that is, it is the Creator who is arranging these things and it was in advance. It’s not like in this world where it seems to us that we could have done something differently but there is none else besides Him and what happened, happened. In every given moment and whatever the Creator arranges for us, we have to try as much as we can to realize the method of correction. But never, ever, even though we get angry at things and why is it so, and where is the pace of development, especially, the pace of development. This is something that a person always examines and he nonetheless has to understand that it is all in the hands of Heaven.
19. S. (1:05:07) This deficiency with respect toward bestowal to the Creator, how do we reach it in the fastest way? This state where the will to receive is revealed to us?
R. It's according to the order of the degree that the deficiencies are revealed. When do we or don't we need them, this is something that we don't understand that's related to the entire general system, not even the 10, itself, but the entire system of souls? No soul develops in the system of souls, no 10 develops in and of itself. Everything is interconnected, interrelated. There's one upper force that arranges everyone and we, as a result of it, develop the way that we do feeling that we are in our particular state.
S. On the one hand, you said that in the work with the will to receive, you also don't refuse it, we don't turn it away. On the other hand, we do aspire for bestowal.
R. This you will get as a result of your experience, there is none as wise as the experienced. I can't answer all these things, even if I'd like to. One way or another you'll have more questions because these are still unfounded, baseless questions. Why is there none as wise as the experienced? Because only when a person asks about these discernments from life then he understands, when he experiences it in life, we can ask about it, he understands how it’s supposed to be. Don't ask me about states that you didn't go through, yet. Trying to go through them -- and then after you go through them -- then you can ask and we’ll be able to tell you about something that you already somehow know about. Then we can tie these things together for you.
20. S. (1:07:35) What is the right preparation throughout the day for the morning lesson? Do we bring the states and deficiencies that the 10 went through throughout the day or do we start a clean state?
R. To be in a new state upon what you went through. I come to the morning lesson, I don't need what I had yesterday and the day before, I want to be a clean slate. That everything I will receive now will be written down on a clean piece of paper. It's not that I erase everything but above what happened, yesterday, on top of it, I write things anew.
21. S. (1:08:30) If a desire is revealed that is unrelated to the 10, is the correction in the same desire or should we acquire a new desire?
R. Every time we have to find a new desire in the 10 and give contentment to the Creator, to see how we are related to the intention of giving contentment to the Creator and then perform different actions around this intention.
22. S. (1:09:05) Throughout the day I tried to keep the intention and do everything with the sake of the Creator but obstacles appear at all times. What is the purpose of these obstacles?
R. The purpose of the obstacles is that my questions are elevated to a higher level and I have to scrutinize these things in a more exalted form.
23. S. (1:09:43) Regarding the corporeal qualities of the friends, I shouldn’t pay attention to them and the spiritual qualities, I can't see them. So according to what I do even determine that is my friend?
R. According to the good fortune that Creator brings me to, putting my hands on it and says ‘take this’. Therefore, I have to accept them as existing the way they are from above.

24. S. I come to the lesson with preparation and the whole lesson I try to connect with the friends but is it me trying or is it upon the Creator? So where is the point I ask the Creator and I stop making efforts myself?
R. If you can, you need to connect with the friends. Are you succeeding?
S. No, I am constantly only relying on my own forces that I can do it but eventually at the end I cannot do it, only the Creator can do it, I only need to ask but my ego is not allowing me to do it by myself.
R. So what you are lacking is to get examples from the friends of how they do it, that they turn to the Creator and you don't and therefore in relation to them, you are lagging behind so you should pay attention to the way they are relating to the spiritual work. The spiritual work is that every time you turn to the Creator, He is the upper force, He is the one who arranges all of creation, He is the one that, to begin with arranges all the problems and deficiencies for us in advance in order for us to ask him, to work for Him to work for us with pleasure, we want to give him contentment give him work, the Creator enjoys the work. You have to enjoy the work and you also have to enjoy giving the Creator the work. It's very simple that's all we need, meaning that our work, actually the work itself should be very simple that I'm all the time asking the Creator to do this, do that, do this, do that. Show me how far I am from the friends and show me how connected I have to be with them, how distant from you I am and how much I have to come closer to you and how the entire ten has to be together, etcetera. Meaning we need to all the time, to ask and ask to demand and to demand and by that we attribute ourselves to the Creator and eventually reach adhesion and then we discover the entire world becomes revealed to us.
25. S. (01:14:52) In a previous excerpt we read that after years of work when a person feels he is actually regressing, engaged in the smallness and greatness of the deficiency is the suffering, how do we hold on to this weight of suffering without running away from the work?
R. By the group as you have no other way. I am doing the spiritual work for 20-years suppose, and I see nothing as a result. I see no use, meaning to reveal the Creator, the spiritual path, the correct path and method, in that these are things in the meantime I cannot reveal. Suppose I've been doing it for 15 or 20 years, so where did you ever see something like that in our world as something normal? II don't know what to do, here there has to be something good to lean on, you have to have a good strong sense of confidence from the group that you are on the correct path. If it follows the excerpts, the articles and we have to do what it says in the articles in order to reveal the Creator. It doesn't matter how we appear externally wise, the main thing is the inner inclination of the desire, of the heart, the measure to which we are trying to come closer to one another. We are now before the congress, preparing ourselves for the 3 days of the congress. For each of us wants to help the others as much as possible to try and connect in order to feel through the efforts of our connection, through the desires that we are pulling, drawing the reforming light, for us to discover that one way or another it is between us, among us, dwelling among us.
S. We get forces from the group so that we don't feel that this is my suffering and I'm regressing?
R. All in all you have a good group, a serious group of the guys that I know and there are people that are with us for many years in this group, that are with us on a daily basis and also throughout the day wanting to grow stronger. I think the only thing that you need, is to further understand what is it that the Creator requires of us and in what way can we turn to Him in order to give Him contentment and to that extent we would be able to reveal that He is connecting us. We have to be concerned with connecting the vessels, the light is in complete rest, the light of endlessness, the vessels are what need correction and this is what we have to connect to. We have to connect, incorporate with one another and this is what we have to ask for and we can't do this on our own, we can't.
