S. As long as I have in me, an inclination to find in the upper one a shelter, a hiding place?

R. That's also good. R. The fact that I hope to bring contentment to the Creator, this can be only by me causing a connection, that unification more in the 10. How else? We need to think about it this should be something that is truly alive that I have no other option of holding a spiritual action except if I do it inside of the 10 if I do those actions only and out of our success in being connected as Adam HaRishon in our 10 by that we are causing contentment to the Creator and according to that we are incorporated in Him.

5. S. (16:07) I can know what is happening in my heart. I can act in front of my friends and say that I want to bring contentment to the Creator, but does He really get contentment, even if I don't really feel that I want it?

R. You should act as much as you can and ask from the Creator that it will be true, this is how it will happen.

S. When a baby relates to the mother, it is very clear to it what it is receiving. What should I feel when I want to give to the Creator, just a relation, say whatever comes is the relation?

R. Yes, the Creator wants a connection with us because He can bestow into our connection that is all nothing besides that does He want, for us to go back to the vessel that He created through our own effort against all of the disturbances that emerged out of the shattering.

S. So in practice what I need to do is constantly act before the friends that I want this thing, despite everything I have I am happy with whatever the Creator gives me?

R. Yes, keep going and you will see along the way it will all open up, but in that direction. We need to begin to discover that in truth through our actions in the 10, there we are truly building the spiritual system and we are discovering the spiritual laws and this is how we advance that it is not just some nice game between children in the kindergarten.

Eventually we reach a state where we are all connected. Our material bodies disappear and this is what we call, ‘the imaginary world’, and we are connected only in our desires that are corrected with intentions to bestow and from that we end up with one complete system called Adam. We need to think each time that by this specifically we are giving contentment to the Creator.

9. S. (22:27) Without reforming light, what work can I do on my ego with the intention for the time being?

R. You need to do work without light with light. It doesn't matter as we are talking right now, as much as possible, connect with the friends so that as much as possible to bring contentment to the Creator, and that's it.

S. Think about contentment to the Creator. How do we do that? What does it mean to think about it when I don't have any?

R. That you want to do good to him.

13. S. (29:12) Why exactly making connection in the 10 brings connection to the Creator?

R. 15. S. (31:33) What is the connection between annulment and intention?

R. Annulment is the action or the state to which I want to reach and the intention is what do I think about that state.

16. S. (32:05) I feel I am like a lost child trying to find its mother, unsuccessfully. It doesn't even know who exactly it is looking for, so it sits and cries and it is told ‘stop crying, if you want to find your mother you have to not deal with your pain, but want something for her. But how in that state, if this picture is correct, how can this child do this, it is hurting and it wants to all at once to stop this pain, so what's wrong with this intention?

R. You must nevertheless, you have to realize that what we are doing requires time and besides that it is all done inside of the action even though I don't understand it and even though I don't want it, if I do it out of the doing, I begin to understand how it needs to be and I begin to want it, what needs to be. We exist in the world of action which is outside of spirituality. In spirituality all of the actions are different, they are all intentional in thought and desire but for us it is with the external vessels, with our hands and legs and why was that given to us in such a way? So we will enter the spiritual world cleanly. Out of the fact that I perform spiritual actions, I gradually begin to feel in these actions a need. An inner thought. A necessity, that it's worthwhile, as it says a habit becomes second nature. This is how we advance and therefore you are asking correctly, you have a good soul and it's not a light one, it is a heavy deep one so you need to have more forces. So keep going and you will see. We need much more to perform actions that are above our desire. I don't want to but I am doing it. Why am I doing it? Because this is what it says, this is what I need to do but how can I do it against my desire?

I look at the friends in our world through envy, lust, and honor. I obligated myself to do something like my friends. I don't want it, however they're dragging me to the Yeshivat Haverim, I don't want to but I need to do something for them because it won't be nice that is those egoistic discernments of mine they help me to be in the society, to be influenced by them and to bestow to them and this is how we start. Until later on we discover that there is benefit to it, gradually from corporeality, we shift to spirituality, you do and do and do many times, something with your hands and later on you begin to feel that matter that substance how it needs to be arranged even if you are, let's say, putting blocks together from blocks building blocks your putting together a wall in some building so you're beginning this work where you have no understanding of it and you start to feel the matter of this building block, its desire, how you can place it this way or that way and you begin to work with the matter and you are entering a connection with that matter. R. 20. R. (45:14) In other words, now we don't see anything real in this world, which is the imaginary world or in the spiritual world which is hidden. We don't understand ourselves or feel ourselves truthfully, or even the Creator, we are really in this absolute complete unconsciousness of reality. So in what way can we start opening up reality and start existing in it, feeling in it, existing in it, only to the extent that we unite among us with the intention to thereby please the Creator and bring Him contentment. 21. S. (46:30) What should we focus on as a 10 right now: the intention for the Creator, or annulment for the Creator?

R. I don't see a difference between them. It should all happen together. What the 10 needs to do is to thoroughly absorbed the material of the lesson and go over all of the excerpts of the morning lesson several times, not over the whole document but only what we read in the morning two or three or four excerpts not more and to try to find themselves in these excerpts in all kinds of connections and manners even if you get confused in it, never mind as long as you absorb and absorbed and chew this material and in this way you advance this is what I recommend to everyone.

S. What does it mean to find ourselves inside of the study materials?

24. S. (50:06) Today’s innovation is that we need to connect, and in every action to give the Creator contentment. So what is the action that precedes this intention if I want to evoke myself towards this?

R. I search through what physical or spiritual action through prayer or gratitude or connection or what by which can I bring contentment to the Creator and then it turns out that it doesn't really matter what I do but rather my intention and then I start measuring my intention according to the intensity of the intention and not according to the power of the act itself. In other words, I start shifting myself from judging myself according to my intention rather than by my actions.

S. How do we measure if we're giving contentment to the Creator how do we measure our daily progress in that?

R. To the extent that I check it more and more, I am in it, I am worried about it, but the main thing is the concern, ‘a concern in one's heart he should speak of it with others’. So the important thing is how concerned I am with pleasing Him just like a mother is concerned with doing good to her baby. In any way you can and accordingly she scrutinizes and so should we.

S. What is the feeling that precedes the intention to give contentment to the Creator?

R. When we in a group awaken one another that our main purpose is to be in a direction of pleasing the Creator. S. The fact that I approach the 10, I tried to perform the action the intention to prayer, there's the desire, a deficiency and this is how each and every friend is doing it opposite that then so it turns out that we are doing it together, meaning the same action that each individual, does it means that all of us are doing it together?

R. R. Too much takes away the taste you need to do everything according to the necessity, according to the necessity. If diamonds were like gravel then they would be worth as much as gravel.
