Baal HaSulam. Matan Torah [The Giving of the Torah]

1.Rav’s Introduction: Yes, this is a very special article, Baal HaSulam wrote it as a true opening for all the worlds and all the words of the wisdom he wrote later. His articles are seemingly for beginners, for new people, those people who do not yet know, who are new to this, but it is not true. By these articles we can go into the depths of the whole creation and to see the magnitude of Baal HaSulam’s point of view of creation, this is why we should relate correctly to each and every sentence even if they seem trivial to us, it is not so. Maybe it seems to us that we have heard these things that many times, but it is to the contrary, try to go into extra deep into them because everything that is written here it is the truth until the final correction, this is why we have to go into in his writing.

Reading (01:58)

2. R. (02:08) Meaning Baal HaSulam really has to place this above the title, above everything that whatever is given to the person to do and the reason the Torah was given to us in this world is specifically to reach the path of love your friend as yourself, the whole of the Torah was given only to implement this rule.

Reading Item 1 (02:41)

3. R. (03:02) This means that if we learn the whole of the Torah, all of it and know it to its final goal that then we reach the state of keeping love your friend as yourself which is the general and essential thing and keeping that means keeping the whole of the Torah. Meaning the whole Torah is only speaking about connection, we can call love as love your friend as yourself, so connection between people. When the person stops feeling himself because as yourself means that you feel others, with the same relation, with the same love, with the same connection and the development of this connection between the person and everybody else, everybody else, this is basically the purpose of our development, this is what we have to do sooner or later.

Reading Continued (04:07)

4. R. (04:42) Meaning we have nothing else to look for in the Torah even if we read these text that have nothing to do with connection between human beings, still it is only because we do not yet know, we cannot recognize the whole system. If we get to know it better then we will see all of it as only about the connection between people here people incorporate the whole creation, and the purpose of creation is to stay reach a state of love which is something we still have to scrutinize what love actually means and what “as yourself” means.

Reading Continued (05:39)

5. R. (06:00) Yes, because we see that the Torah speaks about all the rules of the world, the relation between men and the still vegetative and animate, all kinds of things we have to arrange in the world around us and to relate to it in a very special certain way, to everything. Here it only talks about love between humans, meaning connection that brings love, so it is not so clear what is the connection, what we have to do exactly.

Reading Item 2 (06:42)

6. R. (08:10) Okay, let's continue I do not see questions yet and it really seems that it is very clear, very straightforward but if we pay attention to what we are learning in the wisdom of Kabbalah with all the Sefirot and Partzufim and worlds and all the relations between the forces of nature. All these things are personal cases of love, your friend as yourself, it seems to you love that you open your heart, you open your desire and spread your hands and that is it. No, here we are talking about the internal, very deep relations out of the examination of the desire that is within us. We don’t know even know a little bit, just a single point of that desire appears in us all the rest of the desires are concealed in us. If we start to open them then we can start to see how much keeping love your friend as yourself is above our nature all together. Here we have to bring all kinds of tools that can help us special actions, we call them the commandments for us to somehow be able to realize this sentence, love your friend. The fact that it seems to us very clear and close, it is only because we do not know it at all and this concept of love in our world is not what the Torah is speaking about, we will learn this soon.

7. S. (10:15) Can you explain how the Sefirot filled with light is connected to love your friend as yourself?

R. No, we are not yet there, no Sefirot and nothing we will start from things that seem to us clear.

8. S. (10:49) Is there a difference between the words do not do your friend what you hate and love your friend as yourself?

R. Of course there is a difference in this is also something we will learn later so let's continue.

Reading 3 (11:04)

9. R. (11:48) By the Israeli nation, he refers to the people who yearn to be in love your friend as yourself, that you have some connection with others just like as in the group and we somehow know that we have to come to that, to the extent we can keep it is already a question that we are on the way. At least you know that this is a state you have to come to loving all the friends in the world Kli for example, none is an exception and then this way we can at least keep love your friend as yourself. Your friend is somebody who is close to you mentally until all the people in the world can come closer to the same course, to the same goal of loving others, the general love.

Reading (13:00)

10. S. (13:45) Should love be only in the feeling or also in the intellect?

R. We will scrutinize this.

11. S. (14:00) You explain that we can barely understand this tiny point we have inside, how can I love the friend if I don't even know how to love myself?

R. That is something you have to open your heart in a way that you love the friend and then through loving the friend you will start to get to know yourself and your heart and the opening of your heart to the friend is going to be truly the opening of the heart even for yourself. Here will first discover that your heart was closed.

12. S. (14:52) What needs, what desires Baal HaSulam is talking about here?

R. What desires of what needs? I do not understand when we are satisfying the needs of the friends?

R. So what the friend wants, it is simple, each of us is but a desire, a will to receive. So if I love someone I should basically feel that I have an urge, a tendency, to fulfill all of his needs by this love is expressed. Because we are all the desire to receive if I love and other that means that I love his desire to receive and then this is expressed by me wanting to fulfill his desire to receive. This is the expression of love. Tell me, look at the small children the parents treat them, they want to give them all the best every time more and more truly and whatever the baby wants, this is an expression of love, because we are all the desire to receive.

13. S. (16:36) What is the love that helps us to build what the Torah is talking about, what is this absolute love?

R. We should yearn for connection between us and what is given to us and as much as we can we have to expect a special force called the Torah, which is love is outside of us, to fulfill us, to aim us and bring us closer to each other until it enters and controls us. This is basically our work, this is the process we have to go through and the Torah which is affecting us this way as the general love has an internal love, surrounding light, all kinds of actions and we can wake up these lights and then they will act on us bringing us closer to a single to the extent to become closer and connect with each other we can feel these greater desires to receive, above them greater desires to give and the lights that appear in us.

14. S. (18:24) Why is it said that the Torah is bestowal?

R. That Torah is the upper light that comes to us from the Creator and that this light incorporates in it all our corrections, that first correction is bestowal brings us the force of bestowal meaning giving to each other instead of receiving as it happened from the beginning after the shattering we get from above the force of bestowal, the opposite. Then we have two forces the desire to receive and the desire to give and then we place one on top of the other and then we start by that to research all of reality that is incorporated from the will to receive and the desire to bestow and of these two systems we already learn ourselves the Creator and the connection between us.

15. S. (20:00) That loving the friend as I love myself, is it something that this humanly possible or is it something that I have to ask from above and come to it by requesting?

R. We do not understand what love is, what the wisdom of Kabbalah is speaking about, because the love we understand is a love we keep and feel and research within our vessels that are to begin with only the feeling of self-love. Even if we do research something that is seemingly unrelated to us around us, we imagine it inside of us, we place a model in us, a pattern, template, that concept that is seemingly outside and this is how we research. This is why our whole research is nonetheless something that is only in our vessels of reception, our selfish desires. If we want to research the essence of the connection between all details of reality we can only do that when we rise above our desire, above our ego and this is our whole desire. Only this way, only under this condition can we get to know the nature, the Creator and all the things that are in the depth under the ego which we see before us.

16. S. (22:05) So we have to love the friends as ourselves, but we develop hatred for ourselves too, how can we picture that love for the friend, seemingly there is no connection?

R. First of all there is something in what you are saying, we hate ourselves, we do not love, if we would truly love ourselves we would develop ourselves until complete love, complete connection, complete giving until we resemble the Creator. However we are aimed in all our existence through the evil inclination that works against us actually increases the distance between us and eternity and wholeness, this is what we have to know.

S. Should we develop a new self and from there to love?

R. This is called the recognition of evil, yes.

17. S. (23:37) From all the writings of the Kabbalists we get the impression that all that the Creator really wants is to glue back the broken pieces, to create a vessel where he can place his light and abundance and that will please him, that is all that he wants. As if there is no connection to love your friends as yourself, as if it is something technical and yet when we say this model emotionally as if this is the only means. Can this generation have another means because this generation is the face of the dog, is there a different means to feel and explain this work even to the world?

R. Look we do understand that it is not simple, we understand it is very difficult to talk about and there are not many people who can hear this and if somebody can hear this, he already knows he heard it for thousands of times and it is something good to talk about, to speak before people, not more than that. Nobody is opening himself to this sentence, love your friend as yourself. This is clear to us that this is not a realistic and it sounds philosophical, and politicians and all the liars use these words in order to look at people who want to be elected by others, how they make speeches and then you'll see how every word they have this sentence, love your friend as yourself, seemingly. They do not really say this sentence because it is clear that it is a lie when it is heard from them, but this is what they are all about . This is why, all in all, we have to understand that this sentence is here to ultimately prove to us the opposite, that we are in hatred, we are in rejection, non-stop wars between each other when each sees the other as an enemy standing before him and then we really get to know the evil inside us. Then we also get to hear more what is “love your friend as yourself''. How come they speak this way, how can this be that I am such a selfish person, hating everybody, to begin with I do not see the others, but I only see their mistakes, this is what I see. This is how I see through my brain and heart; this is how we are aimed. We are aimed for me not to see anything good in the others as much as I try to turn myself around it is not good. Even religions and faith systems, all the different methods, we can see through human history how everything is a lie, built on a lie. Seemingly they want to bring you to some kind of a truth full form of love and connection and nice relation, but it is clear to us we see how much everything is the opposite actually. They divide humanity and spread everybody apart, place every religion against the other religions and this is how all these things are waking up in humanity they act only in order to spread and divide all of the people. Meaning we do not have any method in humanity that can speak about connection and coming closer, rather we develop in such a way that the Creator created the ego, the evil inclination and he also created that Torah as a spice so the evil inclination something that Creator created. This is something we see on ourselves in the development from one generation to the other. So it causes the development of the evil inclination when we become vicious and cruel towards each other. I created the Torah as a spice, this is what we have to discover as we do not yet have it. The wisdom of Kabbalah starts to speak to everybody through us and let's hope that it will happen soon and then everybody will see that everybody will know, that against the hatred that lies between everybody, there may be love. It has to come, the love between everybody under the conditions that everyone takes care of it and how to take care, this is what the wisdom of Kabbalah is about, there is no choice but to spread this knowledge, this notion to everybody, between everybody. This is what you're doing and even without speaking with this action so through actions we are causing us to come closer and humanity absorbs them, it cannot do anything with it, cannot resist this humanity cannot defend against that. We will see these results; we already see it even though we do not really acknowledge it, but it is already there.

18. S. (30:13) Very interesting what you are saying but it's also very contradictory. We learn from our study that we have self-love, that we are trapped in self-love, but you also explained that we actually hate ourselves also so how does that explain each other?

R. You forgot about the shattering that occurred even before we came out and by that shattering there was the mingling between the vessels of reception and vessels of bestowal and this is why wherever there is a vessel of reception and they are in control, there is also some spark of bestowal from the light. This is why we can awaken this light so it would start bestowing and develop the feeling of bestowal, connection, and love if we act this way. So how to act, how to awaken this spark so it would start shaking this whole big broken vessel which is called humanity? This is what we are learning, this is what we are trying to realize.

19. S. (31:50) So it turns out that the Torah is a book about love for the Kabbalists, so from this book of love it is not coming out as a spice of Torah but the basis of division between all nations based on religion and in the name of the Torah and religion.

R. The Torah is not the same Torah that we see in this world so do not be confused between what is going on and what should go on. This is especially happening and happened for us to reach from recognition of evil and from recognition of evil to reach the recognition of good because we cannot do this in any other way, we are not the Creator, the good force. We cannot reach anything but only from its opposite. We have to know the minus and the plus and the recognition between them. That’s why we should not be confused by history and religion and the Torah that you know. This is completely not what truly exists, it is just what people imagine through their ego so there is nothing realistic to it.

S. (33:25) Maybe we can just call it the book about love of others?

R. You will not see a story about love in the Torah, so this is completely incorrect what you're saying people do not think this way also. It is about history, there are all kinds of stories in it that happened there. The Torah is something that we do not understand, how it is written, I do not know what it wants to tell us, no.

S. Baal HaSulam wrote an article so we would change our perception about the Torah, that it is only about the love of others?

R. I do not know what you are asking. I am not talking about if or if it was already. That was not or if the Baal HaSulam would write differently. I do not have a greater mind than his. I simply learn what he writes and from what I understand from his text I want to understand the truthful reality through it, and it is not that I use my intellect that I think that I am smart somehow. The effect that everybody is smart as you are so look at the world now and see how it is going when everybody is smart. Try to use his mind and not yours, you immediately activate your critique.

S. No, I just want to understand the article Matan Torah, what does it aim at so we could learn about this introduction.

R. What I recommend to you is simply to listen, to hear it without determining you relation or your special relationship because otherwise you will just understand yourself and justify yourself so try to understand him, try to understand, and go with what he explains detach your own mind and emotion that you know from your life, you cannot do anything with it. You see what is going on in the world, do you want to go down there? Again here you have an opportunity to go into a different kind of world through the explanation of the Kabbalists so let go of what you have, your mind and emotion, take what he is saying, try to attach yourself to him and then you'll understand something of what he is saying because otherwise you are always trying to compare what I understand what is right and what he says and this will not lead you to any truth.

20. S. (36:39) If there are no friends actually but the friends are my copies where should I look for the root of the love of friends?

R. This is not correct, this is not correct but keep going and let's see what you want to say about this.

S. Where do I search for the root of love of friends?

R. Why is it that if we are learning what is written here you are asking about things that are not written here? Can you explain this? I am asking you. What is written here that you are asking about, do you want to learn what Baal HaSulam writes or do you want to answer questions that you have from other places? Try to go into what he teaches, cling to his text even if it seems to you that you know this text and you will see what depth there is here, what internal emotional there is here.

21. S. (38:18) Within the person when he discovers that love your friend as yourself is the main rule where all the rest of the rules are incorporated in, is this point in a man called the giving of the Torah?

R. No, the giving of the Torah, the giving of the Torah is a means for searching for love. Love is a means for connection with the Creator.

22. S. (39:09) Loving your friend as yourself. When do you think about “as yourself”, all the drama in the relations between us is revealed, it is reception and bestowal with the friend and with the Creator and is it the whole central point of the work, as yourself? Because you are not supposed to love more than yourself but as yourself so is this the central point that I have to choose where the desire of another is more important than me, that my desire I say no to?

R. We have to research and understand what is self-love and then to the extent of understanding this in-depth we will also know how much we have to love others because if it says as yourself what does it mean as yourself? As much as I love myself, by this we begin to know, by this we begin to know as we want to know others along the way, otherwise we don't. I was born with some self-love. The self-love develops on the surface, to the extent I know life and not more. In the framework of this world it develops in me, not more than that. When I begin to approach to get closer to others, yes to love your friend as yourself, there I begin to recognize how much I really love myself against others and this way then we begin to know what it means to love.

23. S. (41:23) When we start getting closer to others what you are saying is that we discover that basically others do not exist in us, there is no something that we discover outside of us, but we have to discover it within. That also divides into two parts in the person, is there some equivalence we have to discover?

R. Right. We rediscover these images that we want to come closer to seemingly outside of us and then we begin to discover them inside of us. That within us are these images that are all of humanity including the Creator and they are all inside me and towards them I have to change my relation, my attitude. I am at the center, and I relate to everybody because I am in the center, and they relate everybody selfishly and I am criticizing them and I scrutinizing towards them then I start to see how much I have to invert my relation my attitude to them that I have to love them and serve them and bring them closer and in the end in this way it means I get closer to the Creator.

24. S. (43:00) In our shattering, what connects us is the Creator. What connects all the Mitzvot to become a single Mitzva?

R. Also the upper light which is the Creator.

25. S. (43:21) Regarding the needs of the other, it also happens that a friend is missing something in his home, money, or health. What should be my right response?

R. I do not talk about such things that have to do with the physical life and application of these things. We are learning about the source from where hate and love comes and why we have to love friends as ourselves. Everything has to be in its proper place we're not going to get into all kinds of forms of connection between people now.

26. S. (44:09) What should I do if I feel that I love the friend even though it says that it is not possible so what should I do if I feel I love the friends?

R. This is what we are learning; how we can come to love even though we are all in hatred of each other. this is the first condition that the Creator created as in hate for each other and yet we have to connect between us, and our connection then becomes negative, we are at war, we are in competition with each other all the time and how do we shift from these states of hatred, rejection and competition into connection and love to such and extend that what others have is more important to me than what I have. This is the verdict of love, this is what we are learning about, that the whole Torah comes in order to invert our relationships from hatred, rejection, and remoteness into connection, nearing and love. Without it we will not be able to survive in this world because this world is built in such a way that the evil that is between us, the ego between us is constantly becoming more and more apparent in order to push us apart and a between friends and families and countries, even in nature itself, even in nature there are all kinds of diseases and problems show up from the depths of nature and all those things are appearing only in order to force us against our will to come to the right connection, to mutual support and love.

27. S. (46:44) In the process of loving your friend as yourself, does that mean that in the process, what is “as yourself” and what is loving?

R. That too is changing all the time.

28. S. (47:19) How come the foreigner asks the Rabbi to teach me the whole Torah while standing on one leg, what does it mean?

R. One rule, if I can stand, he will explain it all later, if I can stand on a single rule and from this single rule you have to explain what is to love your friend as yourself, how mandatory is this law to come and govern me and control me. Let's continue, when we have more material we know how to open things otherwise I do not want to go forward because we haven't read and you're already asking about things forward. Last question.

29. S. (48:25) I am not capable of feeling myself if I don't discover myself because I have to love the friends as myself?

R. We are in the last generation, it is a phase of human development of the emergence of the souls that are revealed in this world or vice versa. In whom operations and states that are called this world are revealed so it turns out that we are in a situation where we have no choice, we have to learn how to connect with each other correctly otherwise our world will go into such a turmoil such whirlpool of international wars and such a scrutinies that there will be no place for humanity to live, to exist in some acceptable way, in some way that is survivable so we have no choice we have to study the wisdom of Kabbalah, you have to disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah because it is not about liking it or not, it is in order for us to be able to survive and it is in the development of humanity in the current time, we have no choice. You can see and you will see it even more how humanity will not know what to do, how to cope even with the simplest things because we have to determine, to establish everything closer and closer to the condition of loving others as ourselves. We're not talking about love, we are talking about the mutual understanding between people, connections between people that it is all about the implementation of love others as yourself.

30. S. (50:55) It says that love in a singular form meaning each and every one of us has his own commitment and work?

R. Yes.

Reading Item 4 (51:12)

31. R. (54:04) In other words the right question is is it even possible to do with our nature, meaning in the framework of our world. In the relationships between us, however we improve it, however we correct them, can we without inverting human nature observe, implement, loving others as ourselves? No, obviously not. We can study all kinds of laws of good connections, good relations towards others but all of it will not give us, will not let us come closer to each other, but as we are now doing these things. Because we are embarrassed to show ourselves as too egoistic, but it all depends on mutual, on social consensus. I can be more selfish or less selfish, I could be proud that I am selfish, and people will accept me as I am, and even show my strength over others and take pride in it. In other words in our world we have so many bad examples of resistance to love your friend as yourself that we have no place to show love, connection. Also even among ourselves we may try sometimes to show good relations to each other, but it is seemingly unnatural, it is above our ego and why am I doing it? In order to get closer to the Creator, in order to get something more. So I am paying with my good relation toward the friend in order to get paid by the Creator. In other words I am willing to relinquish self-love in order to get in return some greater, higher reward. Is this correct? Is this what the Torah requires of us, or does it require that we completely invert our nature from reception into bestowal, to be in love of others just as I am now and self-love. Just turn it upside down. Is this what is required of me? I can’t do that. Everything we need to check is are we collaring ourselves, lying to ourselves? Is this how I really come to the truth, to what the Torah demands? Am I approaching love your friend as yourself or am I pretending, just putting on this face? What would that give me if I behave this way? It is a very fundamental question. I may walk around with this question, with this polite behavior between us but I will not come to anything. I will constantly be acting out like in some sort of a good manners school. I went into this class that teaches how to behave nicely towards the members, the participants in the class, so what will I get out of it? There are many such societies, circles. Am I really in a situation where I am awakening some sort of higher special force that will invert my nature from reception to bestowal? This is the question, and this depends on the intention. Are we really acting this way? Yes, I can relate to others nicely and read and learn how the vessels that are really in bestowal  operate, how they work among them. But what I do, will that help me get a second nature or not? Because if it doesn't help me get the second nature then I am only collaring myself, but nothing changes. In other words I am wasting my energy, my efforts. So I have to find a way how to really turn myself upside down, like you turn a garment, some piece of clothing inside out. This is what I need to do, and this is beyond my power, it is not within my power. I can act nicely but the minute I feel that I am getting more from helping, the minute I get more by turning back to my real nature I get back to it. So now I see that I have no choice except to find some instrument, some means that will invert me completely from what I am now so I will be turned from, inverted from reception to bestowal, from hate to love so this will be my nature, I will not be able to act otherwise. Just us know I cannot act otherwise then loving myself and calculating for my own sake. This is what the Torah talks about.

32. S. (01:01:24) If the slave doesn't want my chair so what do you call that?

R. We will talk about this later. This too is not good; it is called the servant not participating in the correction of the world.

33. S. (01:02:05) What does it mean that I acquire a second nature in my relation to others?

R. When I begin to understand, think, want to uphold another law. Let us say that you have a computer. You are working on it with some special software in some special language and solving certain problems. Then you install in it a new program, a new language, different problems that you want to solve. This is called being inverted. It is something that is seemingly totally unrelated to the other.

S. We say something inverts in me.

R. Yes.

S. I want to understand how my ordinary qualities of reception, what it means that they are inverted?

R. Let us say that now you have a child, and all of a sudden you discover that the child is not yours and your real child is the one that belongs to someone else. You swapped the children in the hospital when they were born. So you go through this internal upheaval, how you loved him and how do you relate to him now? You related to him like a child who you thought was yours. So now how do you relate to him, like a foreign child? How can that be, how can you disconnect from him? Through what internal efforts? How do you cool down towards him and how do you look at the other which now you know for certain is your child, but you have nothing toward him yet? Now you have to develop connections of love toward him, closeness. You don't know how to do it, so you exert. So try, you are an architect, you know how to build.

S. Who should I depict as this child?

R. You have before you right now several thousand people. They were all mixed and swapped in the hospital.

S. So what is inverted when I start feeling myself?

R. You have to develop towards them instead of indifference, instead of rejection and repulsion, love. Then by this you will be similar to the Creator who relates to everyone with love. Then you will understand from all the rejections that you have, and more rejections will be revealed because anyone who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater than him. So you'll begin to feel how opposite you are from love, and you will get closer and closer to them through all kinds of means until you come to absolute love.

S. What you're saying now is important with regard to the rejection because with a child it is natural you want to love him. With a friend can it be natural, or should I discover that we are different, opposite?

R. Precisely with a friend you attain the depth of the rejection, hatred, closeness, and love much more than with your child, much more.

S. What is love for a friend?

R. He is telling you. He is telling you. With what? If you have one chair you give it to him, if you have one pillow you give it to him. Whatever you have you want to give to him, this is called love. You could say how could that be? What? Is there love in that chair or in the pillow? The love is in you, in you wanting to give to him what gives you joy. You want to give to him so he will have this choice, so he will enjoy. Because for you his joy is more precious than your own joy. Just like a mother and the baby, she does everything so the baby will be happy, and she comes next, only so he will be happy. This is the kind of relation that we have to come to towards each other.

34. S. (01:08:28) How can I not deceive myself on the path? The ego deceives me all the time, sometimes I do not understand what the truth is.

R. So do activities like this like that, like this like that, and as a result you will begin to understand more and more who you are, what you are and where you are. The important thing is not to quit, and you will see how providence, the upper software or program operates on you.

35. S. (01:09:10) What importance is there for acting as if we love each other when we know that everything is false, it’s just a show. So how can we truly change?

R.  We cannot change by ourselves but if we perform the operations that nature's forces require of us and prepare ourselves a little bit towards that, we are willing to change through them, and they will change us. But by ourselves we will not be able to make any changes because we are created beings, we are created by them by these forces. So if we do something towards them, do what they tell us to do, then accordingly we will change. All the operations we need to do in order for them to operate on us and change us are called Mitzvot, commandments. It’s from the word command. They command us to change, so that they will change us.

36. S. (01:11:01) We learn that each one got his root of the soul in the shattering, so what does the Torah change?

R. As I just said the Torah changes our approach to the will to receive. When we begin to hate the will to receive and the opposite of it, we begin to love the desire to bestow. In other words we begin to hate ourselves and love the Creator. For many people around us, love your friend as yourself is a means, an instrument to come to love the Creator, to love the power of bestowal.

37. S. (01:12:13) The answer you just gave the friend, it’s easier to give the pillow...

R. No, no, no, that is incorrect. I cannot give something to another. Here we are talking about something real, the real thing. I cannot give a pillow to another but only to the extent that I relinquish myself and position the love for him as more then my self-love. With respect to the pillow, the chair it does not matter what, these are degrees of love. In other words there cannot be love of others unless by relinquishing some measure of self-love.

S. So I just wanted to say that it is not about some external revelation of things but rather in our work when we work among the friends, I prefer the friends desire for spirituality. How can we realize this example in our work?

R. When you connect to the friend in order to be as close as possible in your desires and in the goals this is called that in this you are relinquishing yourself. Yes? In a practical work you will see how it happens.

38. S. (01:14:02) The place that we are building inside of us through the connection, from one moment and onward is it…?

R.  Yes, correct. Initially we make an effort. We exert ourselves to connect, to love, to get closer to all types of things. At the same time, the operations we do they themselves contain or include a prayer. Afterwards we see that we are not really succeeding so the essence of the prayer intensifies, and we activate the prayer beyond our activities. Then in this way we come to a state where we ask the Creator to change our hearts because we can't do anything. In our work there are two opposites. We try to perform more and more acts of giving, see that we can't, look for how we can still do it nevertheless, and then we come to a state where only the Creator can change our nature. Along the way we go through the recognition of evil and we come to the right relation toward the Creator, as to the only source of our qualities. Okay?

39. S. (01:15:58) Only the will to receive was created but all of nature including my own body works in complete bestowal even though it is automatic. That it gives me some kind of example how everything is working in bestowal. So who am I that works not in bestowal?

R. I do not understand your philosophy. I cannot understand it.

S. I’m saying that the cells in my body are working in bestowal. They are receiving energy just for existence and every action of the cell is just to keep the body alive. So that’s bestowal, right?

R. It is not bestowal. It’s considered that all of the cells are connected together in one system, they have a sensation of one system, that’s how they operate. So what? What does your desire have to do with your body?

S. So all of nature is still working in the same way right?

R. I do not understand I didn't I really don't, and I do not want to get confused with you. It is not correct what you are saying. In short what do you mean that the whole nature works like your body? That’s true but what is it with regards to your inner work? You are against nature. Your body functions in a mutual way between all of your cells but are you working in that way towards your friends or not?

S. No.

R. So that is what we are talking about. Why do you give me an example of the body? The body is governed by the upper nature and all of your cells and all these actions. But you were given free choice. How do you determine your relationship with a friends? That is what you have to do in a single body. All the cells working in connection, that is what needs to happen in the group.

40. S. (01:18:23) From love of the created beings to the love of the Creator, for us to actually want to love the friends I have to want a desire to resemble the Creator, a desire to love the Creator. Can we ask to feel the love toward the Creator, so we’ll have forces to love the friends, Because that’s the source.

R. We have to reach a state where me, from wanting to love the Creator I have to connect with the others, the friends. If I can’t then I ask the Creator to give me strength to connect with the friends so that together we can reach love for the Creator because reaching love for the Creator is possible only on the condition that we connect to the group. Everything is closed, there is nowhere to run.

S. But to ask the Creator to give me the desire to love Him, is that possible?

R. Yes, but again you can do it only on the condition that from love of the created being to the love of the Creator. That you first want to develop love for the created being, otherwise it will not be real, it will be egoistic.

S. As a source of love, a source of a force?

R. Yes.

41. S. (01:20:18) How do I get rid of my mind and stop listening to it?

R. You cannot do that. You can only do actions that will disconnect you from the will to receive, and that is on the condition that you connect with the friends and try to be with them in a mutual desire to bestow, and if you all don’t have that then you pray to the Creator to give you that.

42. S. (01:20:52) Is the lack of ability to love ourselves what prevents us from loving the others?

R. Yes, but do not think that you don't love yourselves. You will discover that you love yourself more than you thought.

43. S. (01:21:14) To give a chair a corporeal action how is that connected to the work in the ten, what can I really give the friends?

R. Do everything for them to express your love towards them and awaken them to pray together with everyone to the Creator so that He gives you desire, power for connection.

44. S. (01:21:48) When I see the quality of the friend that makes me angry I flaw him, but he flaws me. How do I end that state?

R. Try to see instead of the friend your little child, and how you would relate to your child that is how you should relate to your friend.

45. S. (01:22:30) You said that we need to develop love towards myself. Is that the first condition in order to grow to the love of the created being through the friends?

R. No, no. You don’t need to develop hatred to yourself, but only where the will to receive hinders connection and progress, but not that artificially we hate it. Meaning we have to try to connect with the friends and advance. Dealing with hatred towards the will to receive, that will be only on the condition that we discover how much the will to receive stops us. Otherwise we go to the other side of the spiritual progress, and we will start taking sticks and hitting ourselves, fasting, putting ourselves in all kinds of other conditions, living in a cave and suffering, no, no, no. You need to be cautious of that. We need to follow exactly what the Torah says otherwise we will go to the other side of the method.

Reading item 5 “we must first understand why…” (01:24:16)

46. R. (01:25:52) Meaning here we have a question. Why in order to bring all of reality, the whole world to love, to the revelation of the Creator, why do we see that this Torah, this method, this revelation of the Creator is only given to a small group of people? It is not clear. Everyone needs to accept that, and hear about it, agree with it, or not agree. But basically if it belongs to everyone then what is it about these people in this group which has agreed that they want or the Creator chose them or they got closer to the Creator, what happened? We see that this matter goes on for thousands of years. What is going on here? So this matter to this day is both dividing, connecting, and separating and it is a very meaningful thing that influences each and every one in mankind. So that is what he’s asking. Why did the Creator choose them if He did, and why they suddenly understood that they have to unite and long for Him, and specifically them and not everyone? So he says of course if we think there is some sort of nationality here or preference of one over the other, that is completely in contrast with the first principle of the spiritual nature, that there’s no difference between each and every one, and still here we see there is a big difference between these and those and the others and so on. First, according to the attitude toward the Creator. That divides humanity into different pieces, different parts, different religions, and belief systems and so on. So what is going on here? What is the relationship between the Torah and faith and humanity and this division of humanity? These things are completely not understood. What is our mistake here? What we discussed earlier that we can’t fulfill the condition of love thy friend as thyself, meaning get closer to Godliness, that’s already clear to us that we cannot do it. If we start trying to get closer to the qualities of the Creator we will see even more how much we are incapable. But what is the connection between that and what Baal HaSulam wants to explain to us here? That is what he seems to say, that this is why the Torah was given to just a small group of the people. Let us see.

Reading 6 (01:29:40)

47. R. (01:33:21) These are really profound and very important matters. What does he want to say, what was our question? If this matter belongs to all of humanity, not the still, vegetative and animate, the speaking level but all of it, then how could it be that we do not see that everyone is aware and in a relationship with the same method called Torah? This method is given to many people but not everyone; not everyone hears, not everyone understands. Why isn’t it giving to us as a feeling, internally, just like we know the world that I get to know the world and with it the Creator that exists in the world, why not? As a child, let’s say, I grew up and I'm being taught and also I, myself, discover and see that I am under the influence of the Creator, that He comes and bestows to all of us and we all depend on Him, Why doesn't it just appear normally as we are used to things in our world? There's a problem: the problem is that the revelation of Godliness comes to humanity in a very strange way, we disagree with that, we do not understand why it works this way and we have many questions about that. So that is why he says, “first we have to understand why the Torah was given especially to the Israeli people”, meaning why did the Creator give it to a group that is not even a nation because there is no such thing the nation of Israel. There are many nations in the world and fundamentally seventy nations; afterward, they divided more and connected and so on but at the foundation of the world there is seventy nations, and it was not given to any of these nations. The method to get closer to the godliness and bring Godliness closer to everyone was given to a group that does not belong and did not belong to anyone and that group itself came from a mixture of all the nations in ancient Babylon. They got it and they received this method through their spiritual leader who also was at first completely part of corporeality and idol worshiping and didn't know the Creator, wasn't close to the Creator and so on. Meaning that it is really coming from the midst of humanity that existed in ancient Babylon, that is how a group merged who called itself, Israel. So why did the Creator choose them? Because they, from all the Babylonians, somewhat somehow came together, connected in some natural way and they were willing to be connected in order to achieve a level of understanding and attainment in their life, higher than others, and that is why they agreed to stay with whatever they had, meaning the ordinary people stayed satisfied with their corporeal existence, and that group wanted to have a desire to get to know their King, meaning to get to know the governing force of Nature, and that is how it emerged. So what he wants to say is that the problem of humanity, that this humanity needs to ascend, it does not belong to everyone, humanity divides into many parts. First the pure parts that are closer to spiritual ascent begin and then the heavier parts. It is not like there is some preference, here, of one part over the other. It is just that in this way they can divide themselves so that part of them belongs to spiritual attainment and another part belongs to support, to giving support, not to spiritual attainment because in terms of spiritual attainment we need pure people; and in terms of support we need the more powerfully egoistic people, and that is why there is a difference in humanity from the purest to the coarsest. That is how they divide also both in terms of purity and coarseness and accordingly to their qualities, and so we have seventy nations of the world and in each and every nation there's coarseness on the one hand and refinement or purity on the other hand, and an attitude of ascent and an attitude of descent or coarseness. So for all of these seventy nations of the world, they have to go through a special kind of evolution from the shattering that they had in the Tree of Knowledge in the beginning of humanity and from that shattering they achieved connection and mixture between them which happens for thousands of years and then we all come to corrections. We will have to talk about it more but there is really a deep matter here.

48. S. (01:41:16) Thank you for this amazing lesson, I am very excited. A great Kabbalist sees from one end of the world, from the beginning to the end, and your teacher, the Rabash watched over you and taught you for us. He saw in you that you have the light that reforms for all of humanity. From your students, do you recognize any that you are raising like the Rabash?

R. From each, I expect from each and every one of my students to be great and to be leaders for all of humanity. Each and every one will have a place and work and big public that will embrace and follow the wisdom of Kabbalah in a way that in that time they will be able to get closer between them and the Creator. I'm preparing everyone among all of my students, there is no one who is greater or smaller, there are people who have different roles, how to manage our society, as you know most of them, right? But it is not that I am making them into spiritual leaders, but it is people who know how to maintain all of the Bnei Baruch system and direct everyone to keep going, that is. The path was set by Rabash, and we are continuing on it so most important is not to change anything and just advance in the same direction.

49. S. (01:44:08) According to this excerpt what does it mean for us, Israel this word adhesion what does it mean?

R. Connection between us should reach such a state of adhesion, Dvekut. Adhesion is the highest state of connection between us. So what does that mean? That everyone completes the other in whatever possible, in incorporation without boundary, that each one penetrates the other and wherever he can see his participation with the other is deeper as possible, that is what he does.

50. S. (01:45:12) To continue the question, we learn let's say by dealing with a crisis we learn from your words and your recommendations response in the hearts of the people, and many times people get questions, where does it come from, who are we, who are, are we Rav’s students, are we Kabbalists, how to call ourselves? Obviously, we have all kinds of names but how can we present ourselves to people?

R.  I can’t say, I don't know how you’ll call yourself. That depends on the country, the situation, the conditions are changing in our world, there's still no calmness in the sense that we can explain how we're dealing with the Wisdom of Kabbalah, I can't answer, I can't answer. We still need to wait. You also live in such conditions where you can’t say whatever you want to say, and so it is in every place of the world so let's wait a bit more. Our development will change the world and then we will be able to speak with the world in a closer way.

51. S. (01:46:53) How by adhering to the friends we reach adhesion with the Creator?

R. Connection with the friends is the Kli, connection with the Creator appears in the Kli as the light that fulfills the Kli, one out of the other.

52. S. (01:47:24) The greatest love I felt in our world is concern of my mother towards me, today I have such a feeling toward the group, I'm really concerned about them. Is that the right prayer?

R.  Yes, that's very good. Thank you. Beautiful words.

53. S. (01:48:01 ) In the previous items he is raising questions how they're asking of us to keep love your friend as yourself that we can’t and in item five is saying why the Israeli nation and here  in number six he starts talking about a solution, he talks about what the essence is, that it's telling the others about His greatness and that brings adhesion, so how does the solution go through these stepping stones from keeping the commandments knowing the God and adhesion?

R.  In truth he did not actually complete it yet but it's a simple matter. There is a group and that group as those who came from Babylon it is comprised of all kinds of people from all those seventy nations of the world that existed in Babylon, that is where the group came from, they all came to follow Abraham, and that is also why the Creator called them Abraham the father Ava Uma the father of the new nation, and from that group spiritual development began, that in connection between, them from all of the qualities that existed in humanity they were as representatives of humanity that begin to connect under this condition of love your friend as thyself, and then the Creator began to be revealed in them in a way that is to the extent that they could connect between them, that is how it happened. So what is the question? Then from there on it has developed, he will explain it later, until everyone will position themselves and the concept of the Torah and what's called Israel, Yashar El,  straight to the Creator.

S.  How does it solve the matter of not being able to keep love your friend as yourself?

R.  Why impossible? Yes, he says in this way it is possible that in all the nations of the world when they start coming together from Lo Lishma until they come to Lishma, this is how they begin to follow love thy friend as thyself, from no other choice.

54. S. (01:51:01) If we make efforts to connect and love our friends and  it all depends on the Creator that only he can change the nature he can make that inversion, so how can we, how can I be sure or give the friend's confidence that we will be rewarded with this miracle?

R.  Only in mutual work, nothing else to tell you, in mutual closeness. All the Torah is love, only in mutual proximity, closeness between you by that you will unlock all of the true laws of nature, then the Creator is nature, Elohim in Gematria equals nature, and you will unlock all these laws which are all laws of connection and you will discover that on the highest level which is the levels of the still, vegetative, and animate, and mostly the human level in this world, and when you start discovering that you start discovering what is your nature opposite that, because you can only discover things from one thing and its opposite as created beings. So it says I created the evil inclination, that’s already prepared, and I created the Torah as the spice, which is the light that comes from the good inclination influencing the bad inclination and gradually transforming the bad to good, and on the way we get to recognize what is the good in such a way, so even though we all come from the evil inclination we as if clothe ourselves with the garment of the good inclination, then we have two layers, the will to receive remains, on it there is restriction, screen, and reflected light, and then we behave like the Creator and that is why we're called Adam, Dome, similar to the Creator, this creature needs to be born from us.

55. S. (01:53:30) We as Abraham's descendants, we naturally can change our nature like from cats to waiters, like in his example, can we change human nature? That means we have to be sure that we are the first ones that can make this jump?

R.  Yes, you're right.

56. S. (01:54:18) In regard to don't add and don'ts abstract, how do we realize it in the ten?

R. Not to add and not subtract meaning that we need to do exactly, as precise as we can as much as we're able, to perform actions of connection. We can't exaggerate in it, it won’t happen, but it must be according to a degree, according to our ability to hold that connection.

57. S. (01:55:02)  The Matan Torah, the giving of the Torah to the person is the revelation of the Creator?

R.  The giving of the Torah is not the revelation of the Creator, it is beginning of the revelation of the Creator, let's say, in potential, it is in concealment. Yes.

58. S. (01:55:26) What's the meaning in the word love, love the friend, what exactly do I need to feel towards a friend?

R.  In the word you will love, you need to understand the connection has to be in such, to such an extent, just like I relate to my own body. In what? By being concerned about all of it. I am performing all of the commands that it gives me, that all my egoistic mind and feeling is aimed towards me sustaining myself in all my forces, that's how I also have to relate to the friends.

59. S. (01:56:22) Why does it say here giving of the Torah and not acquiring or buying the Torah, what does it mean it comes as a gift?

R. The Torah is a gift, it’s a gift, a gift meaning that we, how do I say it, we receive it, we can give gratitude for receiving it, we don't need to pay for it, it is a gift, and we also need to learn from that how we can give it onward as a gift, and we don't take any reward for it, any payments, but it's only a gift.

60. S. (01:57:26) How to continue and pray for the friends even though we see that not really everyone wants to reach bestowal; it requires some sacrifice for them?

R.  We need to relate to the friends like ourselves, simple, and as much as it affects them more or less, as much as it awakens responses in them, I still need to try and relate to them as if I'm passing the gift on to them, as we said.

61. S. (01:58:05) Who is referred to by the others or the friends?

R.  The others are all I feel that is outside my body, from people that I'm, a person that is able to receive my attitude of love towards him correctly.

62. S. (01:58:30) What does it mean to open the heart with a friend?

R.  Open the hearts towards the friend is that I want to accept him in all my feelings and qualities and that I want to bestow to him in all my feelings and qualities.

63. S. (01:58:57) Is the Creator the same quality of love that Baal HaSulam discusses here?

R.  I can't say if the Creator is the same love and quality that Baal HaSulam is speaking about. I don't know Baal HaSulam to such an extent, and I don't know the Creator to such an extent to say that is the same.

64. S. (01:59:28) You said before that loving others is loving their will to receive but there's always a fear that if you will fulfill the will to receive of the others you will corrupt them so how to fulfill their will of the others correctly?

R.  The will to receive of others I can fulfill only in what I understand will advance him towards the Creator.

65. S. (02:00:01) If love thy friend is to love the other and care for him, why did the Kabbalists leave in material for reciprocity, will this always stay personal, possessions and money?

R. No, but Kabbalists always lived in a way in all kinds of relationships between them and it was relations that were pretty different, different, the days of the first temple or the second temple, days of war and peace, Kabbalists tried to live between them in a way they still, in their inner life between them in the group there wasn't a difference between the friends. That they will be at least differences possible.

66. S. (02:01:07) What should we aim for first, don't do to your friend what you hate to be done to you, or love your friend, or it’s the same?

R.  No, don't do to the other what’s hated upon you is first of all. First we have to perform the commandments that you shall not, that you are sure that you are not doing harmful things, that is why it's not done, then you can already start performing the commandments of do, by that you add.

67. S. (02:01:46) To reach love of friends is possible only by corrections or when we need to accept it as some sort of commandant and try to do it?

R.  Love of friends, we can reach it only through corrections and except for that I don't see what else we can do, what else can you do in order to reach love of friends. Love of friends meaning it is a level where we start connecting to one another in thoughts and desires in our actions in such a way that we support the mutual connections and help each other complete each other even change with one another when we need to. How else could we reach correction, what is correction if not connection?

68. S. (02:02:48) What is the right order, first we have to carry out the Mitzva love thy friend as thyself and then there's the giving of the Torah or the other way around?

R.  Love your friend as yourself we need to start on our path from zero until one hundred percent because our whole path it all depends on the connection between everyone to bring all these desires back meaning the shattered souls into one soul that is by each and every one connecting their connection with the others, correcting their connection with the others, then we reach that one soul called Adam, that is what we need to attain.

69. S. (02:03:45) Don't do your friend what you hate to be done to you could be something that is changing from person to person, like I …?

R. That doesn't matter. That doesn’t matter, the main thing is that I don't do to the other what I feel is not good in my vessels, in my vessels, yes.

70. S. (02:04:11) After a person already carries out don't do what you hate to be done to you, when do you receive love of others?

R. It all depends on him, it all depends on him. As much as he relates to others in love he starts with those vessels to feel that love. He altogether needs to depict himself that the world is corrected except for him.

71. S. (02:04:52) Is love thy friend is thyself attained within reason or above reason?

R.  Could be that for now we supposedly feel that it's above us, but we need to attain it within reason, within the vessels, the feelings, the thoughts that are to the point, that it's ours, it’s in our desire, it has to connect and be realized.

72. S. (02:05:28) This state that you describe that I come out of myself concern and I’m filled with love of others, it sounds really liberating and free. Will it always be against Creator or when our nature changes will we be just like the Creator?

R.  Just like.

73. S. (02:05:50) How is the concept of the others changing in our spiritual development?

R.  The concept of the others keeps changing according to our development that we, more and more and more, want to discover the others within the others as opposed to feeling that I am adhered to him, what seems to me as the others.

74. S. (02:06:29) Why is the desire to love others sometimes felt really strongly and sometimes it disappears, it comes and goes?

R.  Because we constantly need to change. New vessels are revealed in us new desires and we constantly need and according to that to change and correct them more and more.

75. S. (02:06:58) What does it mean to love yourself when we say as thyself?

R. Just like a person loves himself, and even if he wants to harm himself, let’s say, so it's also not harm, it is still a sign of love. A person to begin with only loves himself and even if there are people who hit themselves, torture themselves, it is only signs of love, only in that way. That is why a person is close to himself, he loves himself.

76. S. (02:07:39) If I can serve and my friend also wants and he's capable of letting her serve instead of me means I love her?

R. You can only say that after the complete adhesion, that I'm giving her, I’m letting her serve or do something because I love her and that is, you have to completely identify with the other first and then you can speak in such a way, otherwise it is just false words.

77. S. (02:08:19) When we come to love thy friend as thyself our love spreads towards everyone or it kind of passes from one friend to another?

R. There’s this and that, I can't say, we're not realistic for now so I don't like speaking about philosophy.

78. S. (02:08:42) Love thy friend as thyself, is some sort of a process we go through our entire life seems like there is no final stop it keeps expanding all the time?

R. There is a limit to our vessels called Gmar Tikkun and that limit is what we need to reach. It will include all of reality, all of humanity, all of the souls from all times and levels, and then we will feel that we are with everyone in adhesion and then the Creator can be revealed as it's written and that day the Lord will be one his name as one. His name means the vessel and his name is the light and the light and vessel will be completely equal to one another.

79. S. (02:09:34) What is the required of us in order to receive the Torah? How does a ten prepare itself for receiving the Torah?

R. How does a ten prepare themselves for the reception of the Torah? That is all of our preparation. As much as we are connected, as much as we can complete one another, as much as in our connection we think of the Creator that he is one for all of us, and that only in our mutual work we can come closer to his image, to preparing the vessel for his reception, it all only depends on the connection between us. We can't advance or in some way depict the correction but only through connection, not to forget that. Our problem is that naturally egoistically we yearn for the Creator personally and that is not for our benefit because by this we are increasing our ego, that is why we have to remind and obligate each one and the others that we only think about the connection between us, only about the connection between us. That is what we are lacking. If we would think in each and every action, but first we need to connect and then perform the action, so for sure we already succeeded a long time ago.

80. S. (02:12:00)  Is it correct that when I feel rejection, separation, and so on I feel hatred in my heart towards the others?

R. Yes, you don't feel it, maybe you feel it in somewhat, but if I have, well yes it's true.

81. S. (02:12:26) What do we need to ask of the Creator: to give me love towards the friends or that the Creator will bring the friend closer to me?

R. No, I need to ask to come closer to my friends, that I will come closer to them, that I will touch them, that I can close upon them, that I can hug them. I need to ask the Creator for all kinds of possibilities of support, connection to the friends. Not that I am expecting it from them. I can also ask for that but the main thing on myself, how I will connect and give them an example that this is what we need to do.

82. S. (02:13:25) Who gives us the place to connect, do we build it by our efforts or is it given from above?

R. Usually it is given from above.

83. S. (02:13:43) Is prayer the only way to change our nature to love?

R. Eventually yes, everything is attained through prayer, but in order to reach prayer we need to do all the actions we have in this world, also outside the group, also in the group, also with ourselves in order to reach prayer but eventually the prayer is what helps us to ascend to the next degree.

84. S. (02:14:25) Are there gradual changes in coming to a second nature or love comes at once?

R. We have six hundred thirteen, we can even say six hundred twenty degrees that we need to perform in order to ascend to them until the highest degree, which is called unconditional love.

85. S. (02:14:56) In the example with a pillow, it sounds like the corporeal friends, the needs of the friends need to be first. Does the Kabbalist do this over the necessities of himself?

R. Kabbalists can only pray and support the friend in whatever’s possible in order to help him, but eventually the friend needs to perform the action himself.

86. S. (02:15:29) Giving to others, making concessions for others, is something that will always come with suffering and pain to our ego?

R. It can also be through love, by me suffering I can also be happy if I get rid of some problem or disease or something. So I, it could be that I'm also happy that I am suffering.

87. S. (02:16:05) What determines the effort, the good effort towards the others that draws light and some action that does not draw light?

R. We can’t say what the difference is, the Creator already the move things like that. We should not start calculating on our own.

88. S. (02:16:31) How to give to the friends without causing shame in him or patronizing in pride  in yourself?

R. That depends on you and not on your friend: if our thoughts and our intentions are right so we won't invite in our friends that our actions are aimed towards, we won't bring any shame or not any negative feeling.

89. S. (02:17:07) Does a person come to real despair from the recognition of evil or his inability to reach love and bestowal?

R. I don't have an answer, try, and think deeper about it.

Info: (02:22:38) Rav, we wanted to ask you a question: we will come together, here, physically, many people in Israel fourteen hundred, sixteen hundred people and friends all over the world will be virtually connected, maybe about five thousand people, this is more or less the numbers we’re talking about. How can we create an attack, a true attack to reach this connection, to build this picture of ‘one man in one heart’?

R.  Each one wants with his desire, with his attitude to go into the hearts of the friends and wants to fill them with all the best, with the greatest relation that all the way to the end, that not even one millimeter or gram of space will be left of any emptiness. But to fill all the hearts with our love, with our connection, that is called, “the giving of the Torah”. Then we reach the degree of bestowal, which is called Bina as it's written, that for seven weeks that we feel from coming out of our ego, from Egypt, seven weeks, and we feel them all in our good and nice relations, in our corrections, and then we reach the holiday called ‘the giving of the Torah’. Meaning from then and on, we are in a direct bestowal from above called the Torah, the Upper light that fills us in all of NRNHY and gradually we keep going upward.

S. What does it mean to fill the friends with love? How can I prepare in a way to understand this sentence, “to fill them with love”?

R. Very simple, I have to imagine to myself that to the extent I hold the friend’s heart under my control, I can open it with my love, with my relation towards him; and in that way, all the friends towards me, too, and then each and every one, we hold each other’s hearts, open them, and fill them with love. That goes through us from each one towards everyone. In that we already reach Arvut and that is how we advance.

S. We speak a lot about the matter of being ‘as one man in one heart’, on one hand, and it sounds like every person has his individual work. On the other hand, there's the work of the ten where we have to work together. How can the ten fill the world Kli with love?

R.  It is hard for me to express it, maybe I'm too excited that it's something very great and exalted. We still need to understand that each one is responsible for the hearts of the friends and all the friends are in charge of his heart. In this way we reach Arvut, that it's just not in the boat, not to drill the side of the boat, it is the side of the heart. Then we need to think how we keep each and every one, watch over our general heart, that by this we are holding the will to receive in the form of the heart that this is actually our internal life. Depend on these heart beats, you remember how we were speaking about the metronome. That we reach the syncing of the metronomes, by that we reach connection of the hearts and then we all start feeling how we're in these heart beats and then we reach this one heart that we have read a lot about. Each one heart, all of us in one hard and then in that heart we reach contact with the Creator that fills this heart, lives in this heart and then is revealed in this entire heart in all its might. That is Gmar Tikkun, that in it we attain internality, perfection, wholeness a completely different creation, all of the world, it is all before us, so you are determining a time for this?

S. First of all, we thank you for these moving words and we will remind everyone again a link to registration was sent to everyone who registered physically. We're asking everyone to register so we can assess the amounts of everything, the food so that we see the world together.
