In Kabbalah, the primary cause (the Creator) is the Upper governing force, which Kabbalists describe as Absolute good. The Creator is a global law that descends upon us, structures us, builds our Universe, and governs everything starting with basic particles, cell; and through all organisms manages the whole enormous structure. A person’s task is: starting at the initial spiritual level where he is born and senses only himself, through the subjective perception of the surrounding world, to attain a complete knowledge of the Creator. He must be able to reach such a state in his senses, when the desire to receive pleasure will not interrupt his adhesion with the Creator, as it was prior to the condition when the soul was clothed in a selfish and material form.
