1. Rav’s Introduction: As we have already read, the entrance into spiritual work is actually the hardest work with respect to man. What is interesting in spirituality is that each action begins from the entrance until the end of correction, it doesn't matter what it will be. We are scrutinizing new broken desires that are revealed each time. I always begin the entrance in everything. On my path I am awakened, I always reveal an entrance because as he says, each and every moment to “let them be as new in your eyes”. It's not that we pass the entrance one time and we don't need it or don't go inward anymore, but we work inward more and more entering new, more complex, and advanced states. We work at the entrance until the end of correction to complete all of the corrections which is the completion of all of our efforts, of all our corrections. There, too, we reveal an entrance to spiritual work, the new Reshimot that are revealed that we need to correct. We need to understand that each moment, each day, each time, we feel that we didn't do anything, like I didn't succeed in the previous state one bit. This is incorrect. Once again we need to begin anew.

We always succeed and the proof is that we reveal ourselves as new, in a new state and it is a fact that we have correctly passed the previous state. The main thing for us is not to despair but to understand the entrance to spiritual work is until the end of correction, each time an entrance and an entering. Later we will understand that despite each time we must be in an entrance. Our work is divided into Ibur, Yenika, Mochin, Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, and Yechida each time with more discernments than before but still in the Ibur, embryo, Yenika, suckling, and Mochin, still on the level of animate. Each time we are building a new part, a new portion of our path we feel as if we didn't begin and even more than this, that we didn't feel, compared to where we are now. Don't despair. Our previous work only helps us to understand how much we were not prepared or unworthy of this spiritual work. “What am I even doing here?” “It is not for me.” More and more I feel the friends pass me and they run forward, and I am not with them, that I am behind. These are all signs of progress. There are a lot of things that we need to correctly arrange in order more and more and to accept them because they are true spiritual discernments. This is all in order for man to reach the state that what is important is the work, the effort, and not the result.

Other than making an effort there are no results, only that. It is opposite of what we are used to because our world is built on the force of our ego, our egoistic force. If we arrange ourselves correctly with respect to spiritual discernment, spiritual work and spiritual goals, then it doesn't bring us down or trample us like we are not worthy. As we advance, it is the opposite. The things that I see are a sign, an opposite sign that I am progressing.

If I see that the friends are wiser and more successful than me, I am happy. If I am not happy then I have something to correct. It can't be that the parent doesn't enjoy that his children are wiser than him. Each generation advances more, this is how it is in nature. What is happening here? This is how I need to be with respect to my friends, that I look at them, that I reveal that they are more successful and that I am happy. If not, there is a clear element here that I need to correct the love between us. Then love will cover all crimes. I won't have any complaints, criticism or judgment towards them. We need to work on all of these things. The main thing I want you to take today is that each moment shall be for you as new, that each moment we are at the entrance and each moment will awaken Reshimot, records, from the shattering and each moment I am seemingly at the entrance to the spiritual world. This is how it is without end, incessantly. There is nothing more in advancement other than that I see each moment as new. Each time we need to work on new discernments. This is what Baal HaSulam wrote, that there is always a sensation as if he didn’t even begin the work of the Creator. This is all true and correct. It is a good sign if I feel this way.

2. S. (10:04) If every moment I start the work, like you say..?

R. Because Reshimot are revealed each moment. What more work is there to do except on the Reshimot, the records, that are revealed? If we see them as new each moment, we truly feel ourselves as working anew each time.

S. What is the work every moment as new?

R. The work is new in that I don't even feel myself in spiritual work, like I was thrown out of there, that I am not worthy, like I am something on the side that doesn't belong to the friends. Rabash writes that I am embarrassed. Who am I? What do I look like? Maybe they expect me to participate correctly and I'm not capable. I truly am like something so heavy, I am tied to their legs, stopping them along the way and hampering their advancement to the goal. All of these states that a person goes through each time, these are signs he is beginning the work anew. These are signs that are revealed in him each moment, new records from the shattering. That means he is progressing, not according to his sensation, rather, according to the mind. This is our work that Kabbalists write about. They warn us to not despair, that each moment shall be for you as new.

S. What is the step after such a sign appears in me of a burden towards the friends or such an ignoble feeling of lowliness, that I am a Zero towards them, what is next?

R. I don't know, you will search because without searching you will not have a vessel, without despair you will not have the right deficiency. Everything that we want to feel in this we need to yearn for it, in pain. Otherwise, how will you discover it?

S. But what to search for?

R. What did you ask?

S. From the moment a new Reshimot is revealed in me, what’s next? I understand that there are signs...

R. What is a new Reshimot?

S. The feeling that I'm a zero towards the friends, detached from spirituality, and disconnected from the path?

R. OK, so more than what was once. What is revealed now is a new Reshimot/record because it is on the path. Right? Now I see that I wasn't even in it before and I'm not in it now. I don't belong to it, not to the society, not to myself. Not anything. Excellent. This is now a new broken record being revealed in me.

S. So recognition of this state is step one?

R. Yes, let’s say I knew this situation but not immediately. Immediately I feel that I am like this and that there is no one here to work with to such an extent that I see myself as zero. Go on.

S. This is the question, what is next?

R. Where do I feel this from? I feel this because I am in a group and with respect to the group, I discover my true state, that it is true along the path that I discover a new broken Reshimot and this is a sign of advancement. That I need to work on it because by processing it from minus to plus I strengthen myself more in the group, I support more, help more, have shame and the feeling of the great deficiency that I am not like I should be among the friends.

S. So where in each and every state is this entrance point to spirituality?

R. That is the entrance to spirituality, we still don't feel that we are entering because we don't have the true deficiency and still don't have the true entrance. But we still experience and collect such discernments more and more and they add up to a Seaa/quota. Then I begin to feel myself in them more and more, meaning I understand what it is and where it comes from. Even when it falls, I'm glad that ‘the wicked are being revealed’.

S. If at first I felt nothing towards the friends, how do I feel at the end of this state?

R. If you are realizing the end of this state correctly, you connect with the friends and are immersed in them and help them in everything you can. This is the point of correction now, the point of Ibur/conception and there are greater corrections. Then we have Yenika, and Mochin. In Yenika, in suckling, I begin to feel that I can help, together with them and their influences will pass through me that is a greater level of annulments. In Mochin, an even greater level of annulment is when I have to work for them completely and be the one that connects them to the Creator. Ibur, Yenika, and Mochin. There are many things here but one thing I want to say today is don't forget that it will be as new in your eyes, that we start each moment as new and that is why the entrance to spirituality is in the revelation of every new broken Reshimot. All of our path is entrance, entrance, entrance, until the end of correction.

S. How can I help the friends with such a feeling of nothingness at the point of the beginning when the record awakens?

R. You need to search. I can't say. This is something internal, emotional. With what can I help? First of all you discover, as we spoke, that you have nothing to help with, that you are like this load that they need to carry, not that you can help them. They are constantly holding onto you in the group with their mercy, otherwise you have no room or place to do anything, this is how you feel. From that you begin to awaken.

3. S. (18:31) What does it mean that we enter the entrance each moment?

R. It is that we start to process this information, this data, correctly. I understand how distant I am, and that is specifically for me to come even closer. Let's say we had our meeting, the meal. If we held it correctly, then this morning I need to feel that I am more distant from the group, from the friends, and more distant in the path than ever in general because I did the action of correction. Today as a result of that, I need to feel how distant I am, how new Reshimot, new records, are being revealed in me. On one hand, I have the inclination to move forward, to connect; on the other hand, I can find that I don't even belong to this society. That is how we advance.

S. What does it mean that I enter by discovering and correcting this new record?

R. The fact that we realize the Reshimot that is now being revealed, that I feel myself as unworthy and distant, and so on. The record is being revealed even before the entrance. Where am I? Where is spirituality? This is where I begin to work, seemingly before the entrance. I begin to listen to the friends to receive an awakening from them. “One will help his friend.” I have the sources and find the strength to advance by that.

S. How do we open the door and go in?

R. As soon as I connect to the friends in the first spiritual measure, by that we open the door. By connection. Where is the door? The door is connection, connection between us. It is considered that we are entering spirituality, the spiritual world even to the smallest degree, if we connect.

4. S. (21:56) If we realize the Reshimot correctly, feeling distant from the friends it is still a spiritual state isn’t it, where are we in the meantime when the Reshimot arise but we still didn’t enter spirituality where are we located?

R. We are located in our Reshimot. A person lives from the Reshimot, from these records, that are in him. Before he scrutinizes it, he might not know, or feel where he is, as it is called “between heaven and earth”.

5. S. (22:55) What does it mean that we find that fuel only in the connection in the 10?

R. You don't have anywhere to receive the spiritual strength from but from the Creator through the friends. If the Creator gives it to you that you don't feel that it is through the friends, then it is Him doing it. But if I yearn for it, if I yearn to receive this fuel in order to advance then I need to understand that I am getting it through friends, and I need to aspire for connection with them and from there to draw the spiritual strength, the force. You get it only from the connection between us. You have no other spiritual source in the world like we learn from the system itself.

6. S. (24:25) Many times I begin to look and see that the friend doesn’t complete something in their work, that they are missing something, that they don’t give me something. How do I look for the place to invest more and not look for the reason in someone else?

R. You need to continue, continue, and continue reading as much as possible and to forcefully participate among the friends. You need to know that all the strength for spirituality you receive, you receive only while you are in contact with the friends. Even though every time new ego is being revealed to you, a new shattered Reshimot, it is revealed to you because you got a new spiritual force. That is why it turns out, on the one hand, you get a spiritual force, a greater force of connection; on the other hand, this greater force of connection opens greater shattered Reshimot in you, more shattered records, more egoistic. That is how it works.

Day and night, darkness and Light. We need to get used to it. If the goal is in front of me and the group, and the Creator is in front of me, and I understand that I am going only in order to open up these shattered vessels more and more, to reveal them, to correct them, then I don’t look at how I feel them but I look at whether or not it's being revealed. The more the ego is revealed I see myself less understanding, less feeling, and more confused. Then by that, I am happier. Happier that I am in states where I feel myself in the hands of the Creator, more and more in the hands of the group, but I feel myself as the last one in the group. It is always correct, this is always the truth.

7. S. (27:35) What is the difference between Ibur and the point in the heart?

R. From the point in the heart you reach conception or let's say that the feeling of the point in the heart is called Ibur, conception. It is not all but for the time being.

8. S. (29:13) How do we not sink into the recognition of evil in the friends but rather start working for the friends? How to shift attention to them instead of thinking of your own lowliness?

R. You cannot not fall into that because every time a new Reshimot, a new point, is being revealed. You must begin from the fall from that state. Without this point of disconnect between yourself and spirituality, that you feel yourself as unworthy, etc., you cannot start a new Reshimot. That is why you should not despair, on the contrary, there is none as wise as the experienced. As we go through it, you don't really get used to it, but from the side of the intellect, he understands that this is how it needs to be.

S. When do they become more important, when do they become the center of your observation and not you and your horrible states?

R. Just continue and you will find that you start calculating with respect to the group and not yourself. Every little penny adds up to a great amount. And then you transfer from your own individual calculation to group related calculations. Through your efforts, and in the light that influences you through those efforts, you begin to emphasize the group and not yourself.

9. S. (30:43) Is the spiritual ascent not just through the shattering in reflected light but also by expanding the light of Hassidim? We move to another circle in a kind of an elliptical ladder?

R. Yes, we can say that it will change on the path but it is correct.

10. S. (31:47) How can we overcome the fear of entering spirituality?

R. You have to explain to yourself that there is no one in the whole of reality that is closer to you, that loves you and helps you more than the Creator. That’s the force that takes care of you and designs your whole life. Convince yourself about that more and more. Try this and see how it works.

11. S. (32:54) You say that the preparation is very important. Do you recommend that the connection duty officer prepare materials the night before?

R. Try. I wake up, about an hour and a half or more before the lesson, and I review the material of the lesson. I have a few other things that I am reading and thinking about, I review the lesson in order to incorporate with the material and to renew it, to live in it, and to see how I can add something here in the scrutinies, and then I hear with what you discuss and incorporate with your feelings in the lesson preparation. As a result of that when the lesson starts I am in connection with you and when I speak, hopefully I speak to the point most of the time.

S. You always speak to the point, there's no question, but I feel that if we get the materials from the morning lesson to disseminate then it feels that if we awaken ourselves before the lesson it will give us more.

R. That is true I do agree.

12. S. (35:09) If we keep the rule of love your friend as yourself and the basic laws of the connection of the 10, will that help us hold on to each other in the times of entry more than in any other states?

R. Of course. If I hold on to ‘love your friend as yourself’, and through that I want to reach love the Lord, there is no more than that. If I see these two points in front of me, I won't be mistaken in life in anything.

13. S. (36:07) Are our complaints towards the Creator revelations of new records?

R. Yes, of course, nothing comes from the person himself. The person is like a system that needs to be activated. We activate the system by the records, the Reshimot, so each time records appear in the system called Adam. And this system has to locate the records, be sensitive to the records, know how to cope with these records, and what to do about them and how, by these records, to aim itself, direct itself, towards correction. Our work is basically how to receive the Reshimot correctly. We are commanded to be in the group and to realize our records in the group because if they appear, and surely they appear from above, from the shattering. I need to correct the connection between us with each record, each transgression that unfolds. That is our whole work. The Creator basically does the whole work. He reveals the new broken, shattered record and gives us all the opportunities to connect to Him, draw the light that reforms, and to correct that record. By that we become more shaped and connected until we become a single system called soul.

S. Is it possible to shorten the time of the friend’s pain?

R. Nothing besides the correct example.

S. Is there a difference between a friend that says he has no strength, and delves into self-pity and a friend who keeps exerting in the work?

R. No strength? That’s obvious because each time new records appear and of course, we have no strength. We have to ask. If we ask through the 10 to the Creator, this is a good sign that we want to receive this strength to realize this broken record in the 10. That is the place for it and that is what we need to do. We just have to feel that we are in the 10, in the right place. Where is the record that by realizing it, I can cling to the 10? If I do that several times I literally enter spirituality. It is not that huge amount of work. We just have to do this, like he says, this first entry.

S. Are the records the feeling of the lack of equivalence of form?

R. That is correct. Basically the essence of each record is that we are not in equivalence of form with the Creator, and He shows us where this near equivalence of form is that we need to achieve. That is the record. The records appear increasingly, they unfold, and then we can adapt and match ourselves to the Creator.

14. S. (45:16) How to ask the Creator that I will not have any desires?

R. Talk to the friends. Clarify the desires, try to bring your desires closer, as much as possible, toward one goal. By that you will convince the Creator to help you. Of course, you can’t do it alone. Why would the Creator suddenly take care of you? You are not in spirituality. You are seen after you are connected to the 10.

S. How to scrutinize these desires?

R. According to what you understand. All of the desires that match connection are correct desires. Only that.

S. Is it practical to discuss desires in the 10 that are bothering us?

R. Yes, of course, it is worthwhile.

S. In our meetings there are many things that divert my attention from the spiritual path. Do I need to ask the friends to help?

R. Why not? These are things that you don't need to hide. Afterwards things will come that you should hide because then you would enter scrutinies of others and disturb them. But in the meantime, in the kind of general states that you are in now, there is really still no correct communication between you. Each one sees the 10 from his point of view. There's no such thing yet. So you can discuss among you in a general kind of way and you won't be mistaken.

15. S. (47:58) How can we direct a desire to make it for the greatness of the Creator?

R. Through the friends, if you aim at the Creator it is truly aimed at the Creator, if you are on your own and want to be connected to the Creator there is a big doubt it is in the right direction. If you don't want to be mistaken then even though it is difficult but only towards the friends that you envisioned to yourself how together in connection between you that you want to hug them, collect and gather them and all of your desires and intentions, all that you have you want to relate it to him. That he will correct you and make you a vessel to bestow to Him, to love him. This is how you want to turn to the Creator with the whole Kli and if you try to do that and other friends are trying it as well then there is a chance to succeed.

S. If I find that I want to raise myself above the friends and I see that I want to see the friends as lower than myself then I need to reach out to the Creator with that in order to ask that it will include all of the 10 in that correction?

R. I don't understand what you're asking. When you start asking, then it is you when you want to turn to the Creator with your question that is right. In the middle there what do you do, how do you tie yourself to the group and what do you present the Creator with? This is what you want to clarify. You need to collect all of the desires of the friends together and present them to the Creator with a request that He will correct all of you, that you will be as one man with one heart, one request, one desire to bring joy to the Creator, to bring Him contentment. What kind of action of bestowing can I bring to the Creator? What kind of deficiency does he have? Only one thing: that we will connect, ask him to help us connect and in our connection we will want to connect to him. When we try to connect between us then we begin to understand what connection is. That over all of the crimes and the resistance, what does it mean to be in connection and when we learn this way what connection is, that love covers all crimes and we turn to the Creator, that we demand from the Creator asking Him to do this because we discovered that we can't do this on our own. Then the Creator corrects us in the right way and we see what is the work of the Creator. That the Creator is doing the work of connection and then he also feels the connection that He creates between us, as He fulfills that Himself. So we are the spiritual vessel and we get the spiritual fulfillment.

16. S. (52:45) What is unity from the point of view of the prayer?

R. That we first need to connect in such a way that is not egoistic but altruistic that each one thinks that by going to connect he is doing it for the others and if it were for himself he wouldn't even do the slightest action. So in order to do this action of connection we need to arrange ourselves in such a way that we do it for the others and I don't have anything here that I am willing to erase myself from reality. Let's say that I think that I want to do this for connection, I turn to the Creator to do that because I can't do it on my own. The true connection for me is worse than death and that is how we turn to the Creator when we discover what kind of great thing the Creator created to give us an opportunity to turn to Him to do the work and this is why this spiritual work is called ‘the work of the Creator’. It is not the work of man, it is only up to a man to ask. So we don't need to be despaired, only to ask and each time to clarify exactly what we need to ask and in that way, start and end our entire work in creation, only request. Our requests, they have to be mutual together and aimed at the Creator and that is all. So, no one can say that he doesn't have enough properties, he is not sensitive enough. There is no such thing as each person where he is with the qualities that he has, he has already built in such a way that he can be in that and ask the Creator to help and to correct, not him but his connection with the group and from there his connection with the Creator.

17. S. (56:16) Our friend is asking, how will we feel that I have come to complete annulment to demand the whole prayer for my friends?

R. You will feel it as it happens in the state on every degree and so you will feel it. You will want to feel and you will see how you come closer to that. The complete annulment happens gradually that I discover zero powers and zero inequities and that I have no choice but to bow before the Creator so he will help me connect before the group and the Creator.

18. R. (01:01:50) Maybe we can describe it through the attitude of a mother towards her children, look what nature does on the animate level, how much there is concern for the children on the animate level as well, in animals. They do everything for them, all about how to feed and nurture them. It is absolutely a lot clearer in animals that you see there is no greater concern for a mother who has her descendants; it could be whatever, a giraffe or a bear, they only take care of the children. Similarly we have to see how we want to care about the friends who are our descendants in a single Partzuf, that if I belong to a certain Sefira in the Partzuf, then I am responsible that all of my friends will receive from above through me a certain light, the unique influence of the Creator that passes through me and is then passed on to all. By serving each other this way, each one towards the other, we begin to feel that we are in a system of our forces and even though they are different forces from each of us, they meet at the influence of the Creator and so it turns out that in this way we cling to him. I am lacking words, but this is a beginning already.

19. S. (01:04:17) What does it mean that the Creator receives the work of the lower ones regardless of how great it is or what the form is?

R. It is like what we said now, that if we have a baby who's yelling and crying and doesn't know or understand, he just demands not caring who or what we feel or how tired we are, whether we have what he wants or not, he demands. This way you need to understand that we need to reach the Creator and that it will all be received and accepted in him even if we don't understand what we need do you still need to yell, to cry and to pray ultimately you will get what you deserve even though it is not may be exactly what you wanted. On the way specifically because of the prayer, because of the cries you will come to the right conclusion.

20. S. (01:05:42) What do you do with happiness? Do we project this back to the 10 or are we talking about a wider circle, there are all kinds of emotions?

R. The family is the group we need to take all of our prayers and requests and keep them in the group. We come to a state where the penny joins another penny until there is a great total and then the Creator is revealed and in the light that he reveals to us, we begin to see the right order, how we need to be connected, in what way, and what network of connection. The request needs to be until we see the system, in the structure we will then begin to feel what to do and how to do it, what to ask for. Then we can become more knowledgeable and find our orientation better in this place, in the system of desires. What is more or less how to connect to each other and this is how it will work.

21. S. (01:07:43) Prayer is actually a request: what is a complete prayer to the Creator?

R. From us to the Creator, from the Creator is only the answering of the prayer, from us is only the raising of the prayer. The Creator is only answering us in various ways according to our request. Either He awakens us before we ask so we begin to ask and we see how he does that especially with the whole world. What is he doing with the whole world? He is just shaking them so that people will begin to turn to Him with request and then He can be with them in a tighter reciprocal connection, this is what he is doing. Then these suffering that we go through is only the beginning of the suffering that you have here and they're all kinds of floods, fires, germs and viruses. This is just the beginning with that as we also discover how we can't work correctly, how it doesn't help us and how submerged we are in all kinds of egoistic nonsense, through all kinds of organizations and businesses. All of these big things are ultimately just our ego clarifying itself how it is not ready or capable of being similar to the Creator. That is essentially what we need to acknowledge, to recognize.

S. So there is no specific prayer that the created being can raise that would be considered a perfect prayer? Is it all an accumulation of parts of prayers?

R. In the meantime, we begin from a state where it is like a baby who doesn't know what is good for him. How do you know what is good for him? He can't express it but bit by bit when we become bigger, if we don't know exactly what is painful then we build devices and by the devices we want to know more, we can know more. We will know what is not good so that we can feel good.

S. What does it mean to qualify?

R. It means that we lack emotion in our world of something, so we build a device. In spirituality, we also build devices, which in spirituality is if I can't, through using my qualities to discover. Also in spirituality I do such a thing, if I build a system with 10 people it can reveal to you each and every problem that exists in reality, it doesn't matter what it is but if I want do then study the problem then I need to already expand the 10 more and more like a microscope to see these germs and how I can influence them and how they respond. So similarly the work inside the 10, in between the tens, I see that if I truly want to connect to the desire to receive in total which was created by the Creator that I need everyone.

S. In the work that I engage in there are devices for everything, voltmeters, how do we create such devices?

R. You have a 10, you don't need to create anything, and if this 10 is connected to an extent between them, then this 10 becomes a device that detects its resemblance to the upper force, the upper light. That is truly the foundation of any kind of measuring device and research device, you have nothing else. What do we do with any kind of device? You build a device that has some equivalence of form, whether it is this meter or that meter to equalize with a certain phenomenon and this is what we do in the 10. One person cannot do this, two is already something but if I really want to receive the phenomena in its complete form only 10 and not less.

S. Is the device different in every 10?

R. It is the same device, like a multi device to measure thousands of data in each and every phenomena. It is a device that automatically transitions into a different sensitivity, a different kind of data that you want to examine. This is what happens in the 10. Besides you, that you are working with the kind of devices that you have in your work, here, you have 10 and each one from his point of view of the shattering. See what is a ‘yes’ and what is a ‘no’. You all work together to grab ahold of the Creator and he has nowhere to run and he is happy about that, he is content with that. This way you begin to examine, observe, inspect him to the point that you reach a stage where he is entirely within you.

22. S. (01:15:10) I here we need to engage in prayer to the Creator regarding our work over the course of the day and when we meet twice a day, do we need to take advantage of this time when we meet as a 10 and to work on a prayer because what we are doing today, reading the passages what we learn from the lesson and each one talks about their impression of what they heard and how they receive and feel it. Do we need to change this approach to work more on prayer?

R. I would work on the prayer more, we spoke about this a few days ago also as it is best to compose prayers, our request for the Creator, what we really need, how we are dependent on him and turn to him and not some sources from the books. But rather in our words because our entire correction depends upon that, it is truly that way.

S. How do we work with this prayer? We meet at 12 and then the next meeting is at 5 p.m. So let's say we built a prayer at 12, what is our work with that prayer until the next meeting at 5?

R. Each and every one needs to see how he comes to a true prayer that we summarize between us in the 10 needs to be important to me, even though it is not, I need to return to it, to think about it and to convince myself that this is what is important. Because this is what the group decided on, working upon and therefore this topic is important. For that day also. It is best that we define a certain common topic between us. This is something that you need to summarize between you at the end of the lesson. R. Yes, that is also correct.
