1. Rav’s Introduction:

The Creator created the will to receive. The opposite of himself - him being entirely a will to bestow - and for us to be the created beings we must be the opposite of him and from one end to the other meaning with the same power in which he himself is in the will to bestow with pure love He created in us a will to receive and we accordingly need to try to invert his will to receive that he gave us, it's his will to receive that he gave us, to resemble his will to bestow, to do the opposite work, double work, that is our work, our correction. Even though we are the opposite of him we wish to understand, we need to understand that we must invert ourselves so as to be similar to him. Then to that extent we will be called by the name Adam, human according to the degree of our congruence with the Creator. Along the way to correction to resemble the Creator we go through two main stages. The first stage is that we annul, cancel the will to receive for oneself and we reach a state where we don’t want anything for ourselves that is restriction and the degree of Bina, the pure will to bestow. and later in the next stage is that from that the state of Katnut, infancy the possible to will to bestow we reach an active will to bestow where we work with our will to receive in order to invert us to a will to bestow. 

Which means as it is with the host and the guest at first, he says no, no for all of the refreshment that the host is presenting to him that he wants to give to him and he doesn't want and doesn’t want it. Because at least by this he is not the receiver relative to the host and he reaches the degree of Bina where he only wants to be in bestowal and later on when he is certain that he finished this whole correction over his will to receive and he is in a state of bestowing in order to bestow then he starts the stages of receiving in order to bestow where already with his will to receive he doesn't reject it but to the contrary then the work starts a new. The will to receive that earlier he did not use, he was rising above it, now he enters the will to receive and uses it more and more in order to fill it up in order to delight the host. 

This is what we are studying how to do it in the group because towards the Creator we cannot do it, first of all there is no such concept of Creator until we attain him, until we reach him he simply does not exist with respect to the created being but rather instead of this we receive the system. The Creator deliberately prepared it so that instead of a single will to receive we learn that he broke the one will to receive into many kinds and many types of desires, the still vegetative, animate, and speaking and the degree of the speaking we also broke each and every degree into many other desires, they became split in such a way according to how much the lights stand opposite the desires, the will to receive and the will to bestow as much as they are contradictory. We therefore need to see how we correct our relations to the Creator. How do we position ourselves opposite the Creator by taking part in the connections between us, in the tens as the Kabbalists tell us, those who already attained these corrections and this is what they recommended for us to do. 

Therefore all of our work, all in all, is from the beginning and on till the end of correction it is only in order to bring ourselves back to the system of Adam HaRishon, so that all of us from mutual hatred and rejection upon all of the desires and all of the incidents that will still be revealed to us that hardly started to become revealed is only on the plain of this world on the simplest egoistic form of how much between us we will discover opposite relations between us so that if we will overcome above them in order to be connected then we will discover here a very interesting phenomena. That our egoistic desires they remain the way they are and furthermore additional desires will be revealed increasingly more as greater and more brutal, cruel I would say, one who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater therefore, each and every day we feel ourselves that we seemingly are getting up anew and we feel new rejection towards the friends and also towards the Creator. 

We don't want the connection, we don't want the path, we make all kinds of plans for how we can invert it, for how we can run away from it, how to do all kinds of things according to our will to receive until we somehow receive mutual bestowal through our great world group from the lesson, from the 10, from the individual 10 and then once again we go back to this thing that there is no choice because we have to. Later on it's even willingly that we have to connect above our ego. All of our work is done therefore through the connection between us on top of the rejection between us. This is all of the corrections. 

This is why we can see these results also in the human society even though it is on the lowest degree, on the animate degree without any awareness or understanding of why and where they are, that this is how humanity is. Until we will incorporate it and influence it with the method of correction and the necessity for the correction, then we will have to take part in their correction as well both in terms of our example but also more than that. This is actually everything, however, what we are lacking here and this is a very important component is to be in joy because otherwise we're not empathizing and sympathizing with the Creator and sympathizing with the creation, his plan. Rather if we understand this whole process that we have to go through and how much the Creator out of love and out of necessity has brought us from the opposite state from him, the broken state to a state that is like him, that we need to discover ourselves in that. In fact, we are in the end of correction but we need to discover that we are there and it all depends upon us. Actually, this is our work and we should constantly be drawn to that. 

This is actually what I would like to say so our work is mostly through subjugation annulment, and subjugation because if we exist in the will to receive then we have no action that is more important than to begin our work each time, each step forward can only be on the condition that we perform annulment over our will to receive that is now revealed and subjugation towards the Creator's action toward us, the will to bestow. If we do it in such a way through the group then it turns out that we in practice are already performing a spiritual act, that is if I now annul my will to receive and I annul before the 10, this means that I am already performing an action towards the Creator in practice and through this action, against this action, in the opposite form from the center of the group towards me I am actually inviting the Creator's action, his influence towards me which is called the reforming light. This is how we advance.

2. S. (11:55) What do I annul this moment before the friends?

R. I don't know what state you are in, I don't know what you need annul, but let's say that I'm in a state of helplessness I don't feel like doing some actions or what it is for or why I should do it. I don't even know what does it mean?  What does it mean to bestow, what is the Creator's quality, He is the opposite of me but I don't even feel it. He is hidden, it is a result, the concealment is the result of the oppositeness of the desire between us, between me and him I cannot understand him, I cannot feel him. So I need to perform an action here towards the group to annul myself first of all towards the group then I will see that as a result of my action I will start to feel the Creator with some small illumination that is working on me from the center of the group. As much as I annul before them, I begin to feel that from the group accordingly there is some bestowal, some influence towards me and that bestowal already gives me a new emotion, a new mind and I already begin to seemingly be connected to these two relations, these two levels, the receiver and the bestower. Out of that I already began in between the two of them to grow, one time I'm in my will to receive as it was and even more confused not knowing I am exactly and another time that I want to be connected to the Creator through the group and to bestow to him then I feel according to that maybe some bestowal from him to me and this is how we advance.

S. This annulment before the friends has to be total?

R. As much as you are capable of, as much as you are capable of, not more than that it is not required of a person of what he is not capable of. I, for the time being, as much as I am capable of annulling myself before the 10 in order to receive for the 10 according to my nullification, according to the power and manner of my nullification, I then receive through the 10 the Creator’s influence, that is all. This is the work that I do on my part, my action and the result of it. This is why if I perform the right action and it's not at once but through many such actions, such incursions, I will finally begin to feel according to my effort they discover the Creator, the Upper light, the Upper relation and seemingly the relation and attitude of the universe of something that is around me and above me and even more.

S. Where do I discover the Creator's attitude toward me?

R. Of course the Creator has no image or shape, the quality of bestowal that is revealed, where is it revealed? It's revealed between me and the friends between me and the whole world but this form, this quality has a form according to my qualities as much as I can share my desires to be in order to bestow, accordingly I build the image of the Creator. “You made Me” as he says.

3. S. (16:50) The fact that we're increasing the annulment, is this what gives us the reforming light? Or should the request always go through the friends to the 10?

R. My request and my attitude to the Creator have to pass through the 10. Through the 10. This is the only pattern of annulment through which I am connected to the Creator.

4. S. (17:40) All of our friends who spoke about receiving in order to bestow, is this the act of annulment and if so how can you work in an act of annulment?

R. We're not yet talking about receiving in order to bestow, this is very far away from us we're only talking about how do I annul my ego in each and every state in the group that I'm in. This is the state that I'm talking about. We do everything gradually so the present state is that I am going to annul my ego so that I will be incorporated in the group, that's it. As we're talking about in this topic it's annulment and submission, subjugation. This is the topic of our lesson I think for the 4th day already so let's do that first, to receive in order to bestow is something that is very very high and it is still far away from us. To receive in order to bestow when you're even using it you're already using your will to receive in order to bestow. That is you're in control of it so much already, it is so much under the influence of the intention to bestow that even with your will to receive you can use it to bestow. This is still far away. For the time being we're only correcting ourselves with restriction and bestowal.

5. S. (19:36) You said today our work in the connection above the rejection between us. Do you also add that there's work in joy which is an important component. The state of joy first, what is it, is it internal external joy, does it have an external expression or not? Is it joy from overcoming or from the help of the Creator?

R. The joy can be out of many reasons and all of these reasons exist along the way to correction and therefore we have joy out of us receiving from the Creator, awakening and even being in some connection even that we received a connection to him out of our will to receive that we are not pleased, not satisfied with our lives but the fact that we're not satisfied it's not that they like the rest of the world but rather we also realize why it is happening to us and this is actually help from the Creator. He's showing us how much we are so contradictory, opposite to the form of bestowal and more and more. That is, joy should be revealed upon each and every state that we are in. We need to feel the state and correct our attitude to it which is from there is none else besides Him, good who is doing good through the group and I need to feel myself being under correction. 

Then to bring myself to a state where I want these corrections, I respect them, I love them, I connect with them and through them to the Creator and as a result of that I need to feel I am incorporated with joy because I'm already connected to the process. I'm already connected with the Upper light I'm connected to the Creator through the 10 so I have this whole system before me. The entire system is already there. I just need to discover it so I will discover it with the help of the Upper force to the extent that I will be able to use it correctly. That is, there is some blockage here above this protective system so that I will not discover anything with which I might harm myself or others. Just like we do it with the children, we don't let them play with things that are dangerous. 

This is why I'm grateful to the Creator that even in the concealment that I am under and maybe with my will to receive I certainly disagree with the concealment. Because of the Creator's treatment, because from the perspective of the will to bestow I do agree with the concealment and I'm grateful for him for that because this is his love towards me. This is how he's establishing the whole of reality for me that whatever I'm capable of I understand and feel, I can use it and then whatever I'm not capable of I don't even see it. I don't even see it. Instead of that I feel the corporeal world which is an imaginary world however for the time being I need to be in it because more than that in the spiritual world I cannot see it. This is how it is depicted before me as the corporeal world.

6. S. (23:56) Why don't we get enjoyment from our work, always?

R. We each time in the beginning of the work derive no pleasure from it but to the opposite we are upset, disconnected from the true reality and we also don't even know that we are in some reality. We have I would say a bad mood, a bad mood and this was given to us to begin with in order for us to raise ourselves to a degree of importance of where we are. That the Creator who created this whole reality, he is establishing it before us in such a way, he's also establishing for us those states where we can invert this whole reality from in order to receive to in order to bestow. He's establishing them for us with an unpleasant feeling, an unpleasant feeling and therefore even though we get up and we want to be in joy with each other but that's incorrect, untrue. Inside we're not that happy. We feel tension we're not so sure why, what for, how, and this is how the Creator is sustaining us. 

I saw Rabash, the way he was getting up in the morning as usual at 2 a.m. and we would get up and start studying, if we were traveling together to Tiberius or some other place so it turned out that I never saw him get up with joy, with an awakening, with a good mood full of forces, nope. He was hardly, hardly getting up, awakening, going to wash himself and bit by bit, like that he would get up. He would sit by the table, yes, sit by the table and say well bring me a cup of coffee. Slowly he would recover recuperate that is he would have to perform a lot of effort in order to truly reach a state where he already knows where he is, who am I, what am I, what am I for, why, what should I do, what is the world and which I am now, where I feel myself? 

All of these things, I could see that each and every morning he had to go through them anew. This is the right way because a person each time that he gets up is a new person. He has new desires that are revealed, thoughts and out of that he has to arrange them correctly towards the purpose of creation and this way to establish himself. This is why we need to understand that our work is always out of the broken will to receive and it wants only one thing not to be broken, meaning to feel the fulfillment that it wants. Here, it's the matter of the support of the group that needs to be there. That spirit that the group should achieve and feel and hold onto and this should truly be for us as our life buoy and it's not such a problem to arrange this it's all in our hands. If we do it this way then there is no incident in the world that might push us away but rather to the contrary, we will constantly advance and advance towards the goal through our own forces and this is how we will become the bosses of our path and our corrections.

7. S. (29:00) It's felt that I can only act in joy although I'm not really happy about what's happening. Is the game itself to only awaken the joy?

R. Yes, as we learned about the story about Baal Shem Tov and other Kabbalists they write about it and about how much they start from the disconnected state, far away from spirituality, hardly even understanding themselves, that they exist in some corporeal reality. This confusion reaches a state where a person doesn't even know himself, doesn't know the world, doesn't know exactly where he is, he's confused until he establishes himself and this is how it happens to him. It might be that each and every day a few times a day even and we have to understand that all of this is in order for us to each time, from the broken state to reach the corrected state. We are working on the correction of the system of Adam HaRishon and each one has to correct it from the root of his soul, his correct relation to the entire system. So it turns out that I must accept each time I must accept the broken system and start to relate to it in such a way that it will begin to become corrected in my eyes. That is that I first of all annul myself, subjugation and annulment and then through me the reforming light influences the group and I need to see in the group as that broken system and then I discover it more and more. If I do not discover the group as a broken system then I discover myself in the group as a part of the broken system. To that extent I have to correct either myself or their group or both of us. There are all kinds of variations there, such and such.

8. S. (31:22) Self annulment in the 10, is this work done with each friend separately?

R. Usually no, usually I work with myself how to annul myself before the 10 in order to incorporate in it and to support them where they are. This is our work for the time being in this stage and it is the most important work, annulment.

9. S. (32:01) To what extent annulment depends on me? To what extent on the 10 and to what extent on the Creator?

R. Yes, you said it correctly that the action is in this case the act of annulment that you are asking about depends on three factors, the Creator, the 10 and me. The Creator is always inviting the situation, he is before everyone as it says I'm the first and I'm the last. Even before all the states that we feel he exists and he is orchestrating these states and later on it's the group through which I receive whether I want to or not but through it I received a feeling of life, the feeling of vitality, where is my orientation. He establishes me in such a way even if I don't feel the 10 however, I do receive through the 10 or all the souls through the entire system of Adam HaRishon, this is what I get from the Creator and this is how I have to establish myself and feel that the Creator is establishing me towards the 10. Even if I have no connection with them, I don't have such a feeling right now, but my life of connection with them is also what is establishing the state for me and this is how I advance. That is each time like you said correctly, it's me, the Creator and the group.

10. S. (34:12) The friend is asking when I annul myself, how does it happen?

R. When I ask this question, of how much should I annul myself, when I want to ask a question first of all I need to think about how much this question does not belong to me personally but to the group collectively and how much it can elevate the group to a more corrected form and then I ask. Then my question is truly beneficial. It benefits all of us.

11. S. (35:21) We feel ourselves less. We feel the friends more inside of us. The more we feel the friends inside of us, the less we feel ourselves, we feel the Creator inside of us. How can we all annul in the 10? How can we reach such a degree, a level?

R. Soon, soon we will get this feeling if each and every one will make, will perform individual efforts to annul before the 10 then the feeling will be revealed of the effort that we're all making together and we will feel that we have a common effort, a common goal, a common Creator and this comes out of the efforts. It's like you have a football team let's say. In the beginning when they start to play, there's no understanding between them of how to play together but bit by bit over as they play, as they make efforts, they begin to feel each other and this is how they reach a state where each one of them understands what is happening with the other. He doesn't even have to look at the other, he already knows he already has the image of the friend inside of him and this is how he seemingly is playing not with a friend on the outside but with a friend inside, inside each one of them and so each one by this is building his 10 inside. That way he works and this is how we also do it. By us performing efforts of annulment each one toward the other, by this we will start to feel you inside each one of us the 10, the image of the 10 and then it won't be difficult for us to truly work together in synchrony with complete match between us. Congruence.

12. S. (37:50) This annulment seems like I constantly have to run away from myself, from my thoughts. Where do I escape to.?

R. In my annulment I rise above myself to the group. There is no other reality besides me and the group. If we're talking about spirituality so it's either me or the group or me inside of the group. That is all. Be on that stems the upper force in such a way I have to annul myself so that in all of my actions thoughts desires, whatever it is, I will be connected to the group as much as possible and here of course, annulment comes first and then I feel that in these actions I have a connection not with the group but I have a connection with the system that the Creator is establishing each and every moment. I end up not being connected with some people or their character but that I truly see that the Creator is standing behind each one and I'm connected with him. If I truly see before me a collection of people through their character through all kinds of qualities that I discover in them then through them I begin to discover that these are not images, characters, it's not the friends, it's not people, these are truly forms by which, forms that the Creator that is establishing before me so that I would annul before them and then I would discover him, a single force that is activating them. This is how I should focus, concentrate my sight which is an inner vision and inner perspective and then instead of the ten I will see the Creator. That he is taking on the forms of the friends who represent him in such a way seemingly so that if I annul before them, I see him. That is my annulment towards the friends towards the group is my payment, my entry pass so that I can meet, detect, identify the Creator.

13. S. (40:59) What is the state of joy in the spiritual work?

R. If I perform a spiritual action that is in the direction of bestowing and I aim correctly towards it then I feel joy. I feel joy. If I performed an act of bestowal such an act of correction where I annulled myself and I connected with some system where the Creator is more revealed I feel joy as a result. So joy is a result of a good deed, a correct deed, an act of correction.

14. S. (42:01) Is joy for the opportunity to be connected or connected to the 10, does it take away from sorrow that I should have for people who are not connected at that moment and do not feel bestowal?

R. I don't understand what you're asking.

S. Let's say I have an opportunity to be connected to the 10, I'm happy about it, I feel pleasure. At the same time I feel sorrow for people who are not in the same state, who are or maybe suffering at the moment. There are two states that are in opposition.

R. Yes try, try to bestow to these strangers if there is time and a place for it and then ability so that they too will come closer to the corrections. We are living in a time where everyone can be in it. There is no problem but there is no connection or relation in your work in the 10 which is your soul and your individual engagement in the whole world where, whoever and whatever circles you have there that you see them feeling sorrow and you feel bad about it. Both this and that exists. It's like in a big system, you have some part of the system which is you, the ten. You by yourself are not considered at all. The whole world, the general 10, this is what you have to care for them but for now this is through dissemination. We are now in a state where the world is now going through a new twist, a new turn in the pandemic, other problems and troubles that we have before us on the way in order to awaken all of us. Out of that we will discover more strict more tough situations in order to push us ahead because we still did not quite reveal our willingness to advance towards in order to bestow. Therefore, the entire world will, is continuing with this whole mixture, this whole confusion, the revelation of the bad things and especially in Israel it will be revealed, a very bad state, very tough, very dangerous in order to awaken Israel to advance towards corrections. That indeed this is the worst place, the most broken, the most corrupted it can be as Baal HaSulam says about Israel and Jerusalem that this is the place of the Klipot, the shells.

15. S. (45:24) We are asking questions in the lesson, we always think about the 10 but we do think about the friends from the world Kli, the question is when we ask a question what is better to think about the 10 or the world vessel what's better for advancement?

R. It's better to think about the 10 for your advancement and you're not thinking about the 10 because it obligates you to work to change to connect to them actively. That's why you're not thinking about it, it's a defense mechanism, an egoistic defense mechanism that is rejecting the 10 and tells you owe, I'll work with something Global, the world, something like that and the 10 that's somehow that's because your ego does not let you. Be close to a state where you have to correct him and invest your energy there so try as much as possible to arrange the 10 first of all the 10 according to the spiritual laws that Rabash arranged for us.

16. S. (47:07) You're saying that we have tough times ahead. How can I care for my 10, the group?

R.  I still need to explain to you how you do it, you take Rabash’s articles about the group and you arrange how to do it correctly and then each and everything that will come will simply advance you nicely in spirituality.

17. S. (47:50) How is it that we can make this work so important in all of connection and to cover with love? Why is it so difficult for, you know we take pleasure, taking money at work or we see the importance of this pandemic but why is it so difficult for us to see this 10 as like serving a great King as something so profitable for us?

R. The thing is that in the spiritual work, you have the will to receive mixed in there which is against the spiritual work and all the other actions you perform in this world. The will to receive does not reject but rather there you choose what is more suitable, more worthwhile or less but relative to spiritual work. It's not about worthwhile more or less, rather it doesn't want it, very simple. That's why you can't even see just how much you reject spiritual actions and you replace them with a variety of corporeal actions just not to get to the spiritual actions. Everything but that. That's the problem. The will to receive distracts you from the spiritual path and you end up staying in it.

18. S. (49:44) How can the ten as a broken system, can see and feel each and every day that it is advancing correctly?

R. If it works correctly according to his principles. It's not even a question. I'm asking you to bring us a question, this is not a question. If we have all the articles and we use them, then we know what to do.

19. S. (50:27) I annul before the 10, I'm incorporated before them and I still don't feel joy in my state, how can I ask from the Creator to feel joy, how can I be happy with them?

R. You have to work on the importance. Who are you tied to and in what way? You're not connected to the 10 if you don't feel joy. You're not connected to the world Kli if you don't feel joy because through that you receive an illumination from above which gives you joy. Joy doesn't just come to you from your belly, we're not talking about corporeal gladness. We're talking about joy as a result of good deeds if you're included in the friends and the world Kli together with them and even though the Creator awakens unpleasant states in the world Kli maybe even closer to you. You understand that all those things bring us and the entire humanity to correction and that's why you get joy out of it. You have to scrutinize the states and then the joy is a result of the correct scrutiny.

20. S. (51:49) Intention to bestow comes from above when it will be given will this then be perceived as a proven element? Will Malchut be changed or remain?

R. We don't receive the will to bestow from above. We receive a form of bestowal from above, it's a form of influence from above that corrects us and turns our desire in order to bestow. The desire to bestow is the Creator. We can only acquire the Upper force in order to use our will to receive in order to bestow. Only in this way do we work. We don't change our nature. We change only our intention for using our nature. We restrict our entire nature. The Creator does it, he prepares it for us and then according to how much we can receive the force of correction that will change our intention over the will to receive, to be in order to bestow. Accordingly, we work with the will to receive but the will to receive remains the will to receive. Simply the intention that rides over it will be in order to bestow. Meaning what do I do? It's easy to understand and relative to the 10, I participate in the ten with my will to receive in order to support them in order to bestow to them in order to do for them. This means that I'm using my will to receive in order to bestow. In the ten those things are easy. They are visible. Let's start there.

21. S. (54:23) In the process of annulment and subjugation I find in me such qualities such as control, exploitation, disregard towards the others in the 10. On the other hand, these qualities I also receive from the Creator, so what does it mean that I annul and I restrict the nature that I received from the Creator? I can't just ignore it right? It has to be some creative work with that.

R. You are doing creative work with everything you've got from the Creator. Those desires to receive that were with the intention to receive, we're now performing an action in order to bestow.

S. This action it's unclear what does it mean the action to bestow?

R. Let's say there's a chunk of clay before you and like a sculptor you make it in two different forms, shapes. You don't make the shape or the form that you would like to do according to your will to receive but rather what is good for the host, the clay, the will to receive remains as it was. Just the form that you applied to it you bring this form from your desire to resemble the host. This is our work. The matter, the substance remains the same. The form changes from in order to receive to in order to bestow.

S. How do I know which form to build because….?

R. Relative to the group, relative to the group, what's good for the friends, what's good to the group, do that. This is already outside of you. Pretty soon you will find out that you don't want it, you hate it. You hate the friends and you hate the group. You reject them, they repulse you. The more you advance, you will see a fire burning between you and from that, from this fire you can turn this fire to the fire of love. Attain the fire of love and each time more and more.

S. This action where upon this nature that is revealed, this play, I don't just perform an action. These are such elements that I can't even control it, it's greater than me, it's bigger than me.

R. It should be integrated in the group and acquire the energy, the strength to be above yourself and then you'll know it's possible. If the group will be more important in your eyes you'll be able to do it. I'm telling you about laws. There's nothing you can do but you have to put in the effort to come close to those laws.

22. S. (57:39) I'd like to continue the previous question, how the nature that wants to receive for itself can work in bestowal? It's not clear to me. I use my natural inclinations that are very brutal. I only think about myself. I can't see anyone else, only me. How can such inclinations be bestowal? It’s either bestowal or its reception.

R. You do it through the restriction. Where you first have to go through the restriction, nothing for myself, no. Simply no. Other than the still, vegetative and animate degrees where I simply live and exist in my body, is neither condemned nor praised. I provide my body with what it needs to exist but anything beyond that is for the benefit of the group. Then I see that the Creator arranged for me a certain system where I can express myself towards the system correctly. I have no choice. Specifically, people have the great vicious, will to receive that indicates a great soul, highly corrupted and ultimately highly corrected, as yourself and then it's hard for them to understand, it's hard for them to feel it, to do it, it's almost practically impossible and then from all these efforts they come to a state of save us.
