1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:38) It's a very important commandment. It speaks about multiplication, meaning, how much are we able to increase our efforts, our actions, in bestowal, in love and connection, in engaging; all of us together. And here, together, is the key-word because by this, we build the common vessel and we return to that same system of Adam HaRishon prior to the shattering. And so, this commandment is a characteristic, it is very important, so please.

R. The holy covenant is the Foundation of Zeir Anpin to which we need to connect because we are parts of Malchut.

R. Not to connect with Zeir Anpin which is the source of light for us.
S. We have to pass this light somehow? Is this the meaning of multiplication?
R. If we connect between us, in order to pass together to receive the light, then it is enough in order to connect to the source of the light.
S. So what we increase is the connection between us?
R. Yes.
7. S. (16:16) What is exactly the soul of Adam HaRishon? What are the songs that came out of it?
R. The soul of Adam HaRishon is that the soul, or the will to receive, that has to go through all the corruptions and all the corrections in order to understand from these two opposite states - who gives birth to it, who teaches it, who develops it, who is his creator. That's it. so all of these changes, the ego over the system that is called the soul of Adam HaRishon. Why soul (Neshama)? Because the force of the Bina is the main force here.
8. S. (17:20) How can we overcome the body so that we will let that river over the Foundation of Zeir Anpin will flow?
R. We need to correct each and every part in the body so that it will be in order to bestow. And then to the extent that it will receive this quality of in order to bestow, and we'll be able to connect with the other parts in order to bestow to them, to the extent that they connect together into one, corrected heart, they will be able to receive from the Creator from above the filling in order to bestow. Then, we will have one light, one vessel, together.
9. S. (18:45) What does it mean to enter the presence of the Creator?
R. To enter the domain of the Creator it's to feel and understand what the Creator wants to do, what plans and actions that he wants to pass over us.
S. It says that we have to work on the commandant of multiplication. What is it speaking of?
R. That's still ahead of us.
10. S. (19:25) At the end of excerpt 221, it says that if he is rewarded it can tip to the scale of merit, and if not he is moved between judgment and mercy. What is that?
R. In order to teach a person that if he performs the correct action then he gets help. In continuing he is given some addition in order to continue. And if he is not rewarded, he's not capable of it. If he can't do it, if he doesn't understand, then he failed so that he will learn from his failure what he missed out on how he should perform corrections in the future. It's all according to the logic.
11. S. (20:34) Can we say that to engage in multiplication in spirituality is like making a coupling between Malchut and ZA?
R. Yes but we will learn more about it.
12. S. (21:10) Can you explain what does it mean to be rewarded? He writes many times that a person is rewarded?
R. To be rewarded it is always in advancing towards the end of correction. These can be actions that are not so pleasant that bring one new work or all kinds of more difficult conditions are dropped on him compared to the way it was before. But that too is considered being rewarded because through these things he advances.
S. I am asking because I'm translating in English, that it is translated- this word rewarded-to be rewarded, like I'm given some reward?
R. Yes, this is true. Meaning I'm doing an action and I might get some reward out of it and it is also possible that I do something and I do not get some reward.
No, you nevertheless feel you are receiving a reward, although the reward is not like the first time that you are saying it, but rather here it is a different kind of reward. The reward can be because you are receiving in a vessel of reception and a reward can be because you are receiving in a vessel of bestowal. The reward could be that you are receiving in your vessels or maybe you received in the vessel, seemingly foreign vessels, vessels of the friends etc., but nevertheless it is a reward; it is a result of your effort, your labor.
S. It is an action where thanks to my exertion I come to the correct results?
R. Yes.
13. S. (23:20) How should we be in connection with the sixth commandment so that we can qualify our ten and ourselves and build a spiritual vessel to be bigger and stronger, so that we can feel the things you're talking about here?
R. It's that we see in each and every action, in each and every state, in each and every moment an opportunity for connection and for advancing toward the Creator. This is how we should work, meaning, in every moment I have an opportunity to take another degree and to climb on it and to be a bit closer to the Creator and then to build another degree and to be even closer in bestowal. I climb on the degrees like a little child, then with the hands and the legs, truly on all fours, climbing on the degrees and and in each and every state he sees that he's advancing.
14. S. (25:23) The appearance of the third angel, is this happening next to how we connect and turn to the Creator for help? Is it the prayer? Is that so?
R. Yes he appears according to our additional effort.
15. S. (26:38) So what does it mean in spirituality: this commandment be fruitful and multiply?
R. Well we didn't finish this article yet. We will scrutinize more what it means, multiplication. Meaning with the help of coupling by striking, begetting from one Partzuf to the next one, and the next one, and the next one. So multiplication means that it is in order for all these Partzufim, they will be one Rosh higher than the previous ones.
16. S. (27:39) Do we help the friends in our ten climb when we pray for them?
R. Of course because we are all one vessel and even each one who takes upon himself some work that relates to the other he makes the work easier for the other.
S. Is that the form of multiplication?
R. Yes, you might say so that here we are adding some additions to our vessel on account of the other. This is how we pass an additional light to our vessels.
17. S. (28:54) What does it mean two parts that are born with a soul thanks to whom we can reach the line of merit?
R. That it is a more complete vessel than before it has both water and Hassadim.
18. S. (29:17) How can we come to prayer for the condition of awakening from the below?
R. It's only by us talking between us, when we study together, when we become incorporated together. When together we pass from one to the other our impressions in such a gradual way new vessels are born in us that come and awaken in us as a result, as a result of our connection, of our incorporation. And then through this incorporation, we begin to feel that we have new vessels which we did not have before and in them we draw light.
19. S. (30:42) This river that comes out of ZA, is this bestowal that comes from an awakening from below, from us, or an awakening from above?
R. It is an awakening from above. However it is according to our own awakening. It emerges from the Yesod of ZA, so we awaken it, then we draw it.
S. In the wisdom of Kabbalah, water is always bestowal?
R. Yes, well not always there are also malicious waters, there’s murky water-you can call it that. But usually water is what sanctifies and cleanses.
20. S. (32:01) Is this reward, this meriting here that's mentioned, means that all the wisdom will become simpler for us?
R. All the words will become clear when they become thoughts.
21. S. (32:35) About item 219, this is how he engages us in the Reshimot in order to increase the impression of Malchut, and from this to ask help from the Creator how to build Adam HaRishon?
R. Yes.
