1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, I am certainly excited like always before such a big and important assembly. There is no more important congress or bigger congress than what we have today and I really hope that we’ll take a big step forward, even a leap forward. And I hope we will all receive some feeling Lishma, what Lishma is, how to come to it, how we can move from a state where we’re here before Lishma in Lo Lishma to Lishma; from not for her sake to for her sake. It’s a very serious leap, it’s a leap from the lower world to the upper world. In the lower world we live according to our corporeal emotion and intellect, what we received innately, being in the animate degree and in the degree of Lishma we already go into the feeling of the upper world. We already start to feel what in order to bestow means, what it means to feel and to think like the Creator. Certainly, it’s according to degrees that exist in the upper world but it’s still completely different. Meaning what we need to do here is a very substantial step from Lo Lishma to Lishma, from the lower world, our world to the upper world, the world of the Creator, from the nature of the will to receive to the nature of the will to bestow, from an emotional disconnection between us to an emotional connection between us, and more and more such discernments. I wish for everyone to focus on this, that we really have an internal focus, each and every one and that we will try to do that. In the meantime there will be questions, excerpts, answers, all kinds of things and we’ll do it as usual. The main thing is to try to be in an embrace with everyone and as tight as possible, each one to his friend. Meaning as much as we annul the distance between us, all our success depends on that.
Reading 1. (04:43) RABASH, Letter No. 8
2. R. (05:52) This is basically the beginning of the path. At the end of the day we understand that the purpose of life, the purpose of creation can only be attained by connecting together. We learn that also from the structure of Adam HaRishon, the one soul and that we must collect them, connect them, and bring that soul to its initial state as it was. And this is called being in one place, in one desire, one goal. And there will certainly be many disturbances here, we’ll accept them all as things that must be on the path, to accept them. We’ll accept them as components of our corrected state, where you can’t go through them without connecting and trying to connect through them. As it is written who is a hero among heroes, one who makes his enemy an aid for him. That’s why we also need to relate to all the disturbances between us this way. These are not disturbances; these are qualities that we need to join to the system as well. Then we’ll see that if they’re in the right place they don’t cause distances, corruptions or malfunctions in the system, on the contrary it’s help made against him. This way they join and they build our system together.
3. S. (08:21) It is written that at the end of the day several people got together. What did Rabash mean with the words at the end of the day or in the end?
R. He thinks that many people in various places gather together and want to be together, all of us in one group so that the distance doesn’t separate us, and we’ve been doing all kinds of exercises and we’ve read all kinds of materials about it. We understand that if we come closer sufficiently to each other in our hearts we’re coming closer to the purpose of life, and we’ll succeed; in our emotion we can enter the upper world. That’s why for us the main thing is to annul our ego that separates us to such an extent that we each help our friend; we can all help each other in a way that we’ll truly feel ourselves together as one.
4. S. (10:01) What does it mean when Rabash says to their last drop of blood, what does he mean by that?
R. That they’ll go all the way, they won’t let go of anything, they are annulling their whole ego, and they want to be connected without any disturbances or partitions.
5. S. (10:43) You are teaching us that to go to for Lishma we have to start from Lo Lishma. Should I identify that I’m in Lo Lishma, should I understand what it means that I’m in Lo Lishma?
R. Yes, we have to identify this degree. The truth is we are in it, in the degree of Lo Lishma, we just need to locate it in a more precise way. That as much as we want to connect between ourselves, we are yearning to reach Lishma but we can’t. And then do if we yearn for Lishma but we can’t then we can weigh exactly in what kind of Lo Lishma we’re in. That’s how you examine, and you weigh, measure it.

6. R. In the connection between them…
Reading on…
7. S. (14:35) There is an instruction here for the work to annul myself before the friend, to hear from him something about the work of the Creator. This is exactly what we are doing now. How through this in this work do we come to the revelation of the Shechina?
R. When we connect and reach some connection this connection begins like an engine. When it starts working together with all its parts, bit by bit this goes in and that goes in and all the different parts of the engine, even though they are opposite and each is turning in its own direction, they go into some kind of mutual work. And then we start to feel in this mutual work one goal, one desire, one operating force. Then we discover in it the activator which is the Creator.
S. What are the parts of this engine?
R. The desires of each and every one of us.
S. Let's say that one friend expresses a desire, for example through the workshop. How in these desires that he expresses do we find the operating force?
R. There is a verse, make your desire like His. If we come closer to each other then our desires come closer, we understand each other better we feel each other better and then it turns out that somehow the distance between us disappears and we act as one. And then from acting as one we discover the one force that activates us and this is a different degree already of reciprocal work. In the beginning we just want to be together, to help each other, to connect to each other. Later we feel that out of our desire to work together, to act together this process becomes an upper process, it’s the upper force that pushes us towards each other and we have to feel in this way that we’re working in a mutual or reciprocal way. And from this reciprocal work we feel this one force that activates all of us. By this we come closer to the revelation of the Creator. These things anyone can understand.
8. S. (18:35) What does it mean this mutual seeking together of the Creator, the Shechina?
R. We can’t find this on our own because here we have to go into mutual work, mutual bestowal, mutual connection. And between us we start to feel the Creator when He activates all of us, no single person can find Him. This is why there is a verse that two is the least of pleural, the smallest group is two, at least two and this way we can reach Him.
9. S. (19:39) If the Shechina is a unique force then why is it according to each one's efforts or should it be something gradual?
R. Because each person is the result of everybody who is around him, who gives him an example, puts pressures, demands on him and so on. This is why we cannot carry out this work on our own even if my desire is one hundred times stronger than I have now, even it’s a stronger desire than the whole group I cannot do this on my own. I have to carry out my desire for connection against all the desires of the friends. I have to bend them; to connect to me as well I have to bend towards them. In order to go into connection with them there are many actions, internal actions here that we need to carry out.
10. S. (21:28) Sitting in random tens how do I as quick as possible go into a state when I am willing to connect to them and help them connect among themselves?
R. Look, you can’t have a shortcut going in some alternative way, parallel way, no. It’s only possible if I perform those actions in a faster way, in a more directed way. This is why what we recommend to do, what Kabbalists say is be more concentrated, as one man in one heart and see the goal better before us, which is the connection together where the Creator is awaiting us.
S. There is a fear that there is no time because the congress started so we don’t want to miss out on the opportunity.
R. No, the congress is only here to activate us, it just activates us, it doesn’t start or end it begins. And the truth is that it has already begun a few months ago. I think it was at the time of Rosh Hashanah, in September more or less, we started to practically speak how we are connecting to Lishma and I don’t think it’s about to end. Rather we are going to begin our important work and keep on doing it with other such congresses but we are going into a state which is the first and the last. After Lishma we have nothing, truly just in Lishma when we exist.
11. S. (23:56) Is the holy Shechina the sources?
R. No the holy Shechina is the will to bestow that exists in the nature of the Creator in order to bestow upon the created beings and to lead them to correction.
12.S. (24:45) Yesterday we felt a special connection throughout the world Kli. It was huge excitement; wonderful excitement and we thank the Creator for it. How does this love that exists between us, what should be our steps forward from here?
R. We have to pay attention especially to the mutual support. How much each and every one of us besides wanting to connect to the other how much he wants to help the other to be connected, and this is what I should care about. That my concern is are my friends are really caring, are they sick, do they feel the deficiency to cause a connection between everyone, how much do they want to examine if we are close to each other? I’m looking at people, you have French 3, women, look at how many people, how many women, PT Center over there, so many people in all kinds of places. So I have to be concerned about everyone to have a good connection, because the system we are building is a complete system and even if a small flaw goes in it won’t let the whole system work together. And this is why I have no choice, but I need to think how we can set a good example for everyone and cause a good, warm connection, a close connection for everyone. I am very happy to see today groups that seem to be new that have gathered together this way like never before, woman French 3, Veracruz and more. We’ll talk about each and everyone.
Reading 3. (28:59 - 30:24) RABASH, Article No. 223, "Entry into the Work" twice
13. S. (30:29) We are here together and truly we feel that our heart is ready but also there is a kind of wall between us, and it is not up to us to break this, it’s from the Creator. So it is not clear what we should do, should we attack, surrender, how can our minds help us come to the right prayer?
R. Yes, I understand you, this is basically that situation: the closer we get to each other, the more we feel that even though we are dependent on each other, we are also far from each other, and we repel each other, and I agree to anything other than to get closer because now the ‘nearing’ is beginning to feel like mandatory, compulsory nearing. Nearing through the upper force, through the desire of the Upper One, and here we are willing to do anything but that, we are ready to do anything except this. And therefore, we have a problem here, it is as if we want to say to the Creator, “do you have something else besides this nearing? We are ready for anything else except this.” But as we understand the Creator does not make allowances, He cannot because this is the main law of creation: for us to get closer to each other precisely with our will to receive which will envelope itself with the desire to bestow, it will cover it, yes, it’s what we call, ‘the restriction and the reflected light’. And then each and every desire of ours will be ready to connect to a foreign desire. Well, let's hope that again and again and again in the end we will come to a state where we have no choice and the Creator will not make allowances but rather we have to give up, and we will make Him give us the strength. We do not ask Him to cancel the partition between us rather we ask Him for the strength to subordinate, subjugate our will to receive before connection.
14. S. (34:01) That self-annulment which is so important in these big meetings, how does this help us to build the right intention that sells annulment how does it help us to build the right intention?
R. We want to connect ourselves, to depict ourselves as connected in a desire, an inclination, a connection, an embrace, as much as possible, and to understand that the correction of our vessel can be only precisely over, on top of, or against the corrupt desire, against the rejection, against the indifference or apathy because after the breaking we can never by ourselves think about connection on our own accord; and now we have no choice, we have to forcefully bring ourselves into nearing, by force.
S.
In
an
action
of
annulment
we
go
over
one
obstacle
and
another
comes?
R.
Yes,
yes,
yes,
and
this
is
how
it
continues
until
we
overcome
the
last
obstacle.
When
can
this
happen?
Even
now,
and
you
do
not
know
about
it.
S. Can we say that we can be in joy with the disturbances come?
R. Yes, yes, we should be happy about it, it is said about it, ”a person has to be thankful to the Creator for the good and the evil, equally”.
15. S. (36:42) It is written in the excerpt, “if he is performing action called ‘faith’, it will give him elation and superior mental forces”. So the question is: what are the superior mental forces, why are they mental and not from the heart, is this related to religion?
R. No, what religion.
S. To reason?
R. Oh, reason, no not to reason either, the more we yearn to connect, accordingly, the Creator gives us bigger obstacles so that we would overcome them and raise higher and so on until He elevates us to the degree where we have to be. And then He arranges our connection correctly and we are rewarded with a spiritual degree, so we constantly have to yearn to be in connection under all the new conditions that we discover have kind of come down on us.
16. S. (38:19) I would like to continue the question we just had, he relates to the text where Rabash writes about the ‘action of faith’, what is a person that he can perform an action called ‘faith’?
R. Bestowal, very simply, it is the force of bestowal.
17. S. (39:14) I am thankful for the other to give me an opportunity to connect for the Creator’s sake and I am afraid not to be in gratitude to the Creator for giving me the other, is this Lishma?
R. It is still not Lishma, but it is already a good analysis of your situation.
18. S. (39:54) What does it mean to believe in the Creator?
R. Believing in the Creator means that we are in connection with Him, this is it, having faith in the Creator, that's it; that for now, we are accepting that the Creator fulfils the whole reality and afterwards we become more and more directed to Him until we begin to feel Him. And in this way, the more we awaken Him and raise Him accordingly we become, ourselves, worthy of feeling Him on a higher, clearer degree.
19. S. (41:23) How can we reach the action of faith above reason if we are in the state of concealment?
R. We come to faith above reason, and to the extent that we are in faith above reason we receive, we get a possibility to feel the Creator. And therefore faith above reason opens our eyes, we begin to see, we begin to feel the upper world and the Creator.
20. S. (42:34) Earlier a friend was talking about how his group was together and he or they still felt some kind of partition between them and we kind of discussed it here as well in Boston. So the question is, and you said that we do not ask for the partition to be removed, so is this partition always there as something for us to ask, more and more, to be faith above reason, will it always be there because we have a desire to get closer to each other?
R. Yes, only through this, because if we do not get closer we will never feel the upper force, the upper world.
S. But you said that we do not ask for the partition to go away, so is it something we use to keep begging the Creator, to be closer to Him, to be adhere to Him, to be closer to our friends, is this something we always have to feel, this separation between us?
R. Yes, it is correct, the wall itself becomes a connector between us, instead of separating it become a connector between us and the Creator.
21. S. (44:22) What should be the only reason for our faith, is it giving contentment to the Creator?
R. Yes, by this we achieve equivalence of form with Him: “I, to my beloved and my beloved to Me”, and it is enough for the revelation of the upper world, completely.
22. S. (45:03) How important is our connection to our lineage, and I would like to read their names: Rabbi Akiva, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, the Great ARI, Rabash, and Baal HaSulam.
R. Our connection to them is only spiritual, only spiritual through the system of Adam HaRishon where we are all incorporated, and in the end, we must all return to it. And therefore the connection exists except that we have to revive, awaken it into an active connection, that's it. And for this each and every one has access to it, the ability in his own way, and in this no one is similar to the other, and in this each one has his kind of own privilege, he is favored. There are no preferences here to one before anyone. It is written about it that “the rule for a penny is the same as for one hundred because the sentence or judgement of the Creator is a just judgement”, and if the person is given some preference in some quality or strength then opposite to that, he also gets hardening or burdening, so in the end everybody is completely and completely equal.
S. I was reading about them and my faith has become so, so strong, I felt their strength and this is what I wanted to share with others! That I felt really, kind of in a good path and my faith went so high and so strong.
R. So?
S. I just wanted to share this.
R. Very well, good luck, good luck!
23. S. (48:30) To what extent can we reach a correction of all the disturbances that are standing in our way of discovering the Creator in reaching Lishma?
R. First of all these are not disturbances, all the disturbances we have are now not disturbances or obstructions, they are resistance which becomes the force of connection, it’s like in technology or in anything. There is a contradictory force and the moment we use it correctly it becomes a force that is in favor, so we do not have any real obstructions other than what we see for the time being when we start to work correctly. But the minute and to the extent we start to work correctly then all these disturbances become auxiliary, assisting forces, this is one thing. Number two, I don’t see at all between us and for each one individually that we have any disturbances, we are in the last generation and the Creator is only interested in pushing us forward, to do, to realize the final act that we have to do. And we are in a very sensitive kind of situation because if we do not do this then our progress, our advancement, will be very, very dramatic, we will have to we will have to take steps through very, very harsh conditions and forces.
24. S. (51:54) How should we awaken the Creator?
R. How should you awaken the Creator? try, please try, however you relate to each other, do the same toward the Creator: ask, pray, do anything that you ca. The important thing is for Him to turn to you and to answer your questions and your request, think about what words to use and what you want to do to draw His attention to you. Tell Him briefly, but convincingly, what you want and why you want this specifically, etc. But the most important is the question to the Creator: with what do you want to turn to Him? Does it have any basis, does it have any justification?
25. S. (53:18) Why is the upper and the Creator the same?
R. There is not more than one force, There Is None Else Besides Him.
S. The upper world is the same as the Creator?
R. I told you, There Is None Else Besides Him, there is only one upper force.
26. S. (53:54) I am afraid not to subjugate or to give myself over to connection, how to cross the barrier, the Machsom(?)?
R. Your desire, everybody understand it, we are all afraid of this and there are many other types of fears as well that: we have to give ourselves up to the upper one and not to think about ourselves at all, and what will happen to me the next moment, I am forbidden to think about it if I am governed by the upper force. So this is a problem, yes, but this is the only way in small portions, in small steps, only this way can we approach the state of complete faith.
27. S. (55:01) We have a state, it is left from yesterday of elation and ascent, how can we guard ourselves not to fall into frivolity?
R. If you hold on to each other and to the Creator, you will not fall, I have nothing more to suggest.
28. S. (55:51) How can the feeling of gratitude to the Creator strengthen the connection between us?
R. If you connect and you all turn to the Creator and ask from the Creator for something that comes down back to you, to all of you from the Creator, then you don’t disperse, you do not move away from each other; actually, in the Creator as it is written, “because in Him our hearts will rejoice”. Specifically in the Creator we feel that we are all entering into a single connection there and only in the Creator can this connection exist.
29. S. (57:12) I heard you say that if you do not act then unpleasant forces will push us, the question is how ready are we for our role today for humanity?
R. We are ready hundred percent, we can work, and we must work and with one hundred percent of our ability and strength toward humanity in dissemination that’s as broad as possible. And we will see that to the extent that we activate ourselves and we do our work, humanity will discover a deficiency for it.
S. How to become more independent?
R. Ask yourself, by saying that we have no choice and I am following Ball HaSulam and Rabash. What is there to be afraid of, what might stop me? The world is already hundred percent ready for correction.
30. S. (58:50) I have noticed this wall that separates us and when we connect between us above this wall, it is like the wall is getting bigger, will it always be like this?
R. Yes, we will come to a state where although the wall has grown we also can climb over the wall, above the wall.
31. S. (59:39) As we get closer to connection, the resistance to connection increases, how can we break this resistance?
R. We need to think by which actions in this new quality, this new connection between us, can we circumvent the resistance? That is what we need to think and see, be wiser, more cunning, how we work against the evil inclination? This is how it needs to be.
32. S. (01:00:55) Tell us please, in what manner or in which way can our hearts . . . .
R. Unity and you will see that this will be a means for connection and a place, a means of separation, you will see, as it’s written, “the fate of the angel of death will become the holy angel”.
33. S. (01:01:50) We have a wonderful connection and the wonderful Congress, the question is this: when I think I need to connect I think about myself and you just mentioned that in order to pass the barrier, the Machsom(?) we need to not think about ourselves, meaning I need some help everyone to connect but within concealment of myself like the Creator?
R. In essence, what you see in the world is the ‘not good participation’ of yours, the fact that you're seeing your friends and all together everyone who are not connected between them, you're actually seeing how you are actually bothering, you’re seeing the flaw in you that exists in the world such that you will try to internalize this
S. We see that, I see a certain disturbance in the world, for example I see a resistance all the time, really from everywhere, the Creator showing this to me. Does it mean, it's clear that it is happening within me and I need to correct inside of me, but does it mean that it's actually happening right now or it will always be like this state of resistance, this antagonism will be throughout the path and it will be the normal states that in the wisdom of Kabbalah, we move from one degree to the other?
R. In principle it’s a normal state but it will change according to its form and its content.
34.
S.
(01:03:54)
We
have
a
question:
in
order
to
scrutinize
better
what
brings
contentment
to
the
Creator,
is
it
the
fact
that
I'm
overcoming
the
disturbance
to
say
that
I
overcame
it,
or
is
it
to
ask
and
make
a
request
in
order
to
strengthen
my
connection
to
the
ten?
R.
I
did
not
understand
the
question.
S. How to scrutinize what exactly brings contentment to the Creator, is it me overcoming the disturbance, or is it my plea, my request that I made before in order to strengthen connection with the ten?
R. Both, this, and that.
35. S. (01:06:15) How do we have to work with obstacles so that we arise the power of bestowal?
R. We need to not really pay attention to the disturbances but rather continue with connection then you will see all those disturbances join to connection and even help it, they help the connection.
36. S. (01:07:11) If I understand correctly from the last excerpt we read why is it important to us to reach, to start working in Lo Lishma? Is it because it brings us to the deficiency that is compatible to reach Lishma, it will allow us to reach Lishma?
R. I didn’t understand.
S. Do I understand correctly? Why is it important for us to start working in Lo Lishma like we read in the previous excerpt? Is it because it's helping us to build the deficiency that is bringing us into Lishma, it’s the right deficiency that gets us into Lishma?
R. Yes, we must begin with Lo Lishma and gradually come to Lishma and by this we correct completely in the only correct way our shattered desire.
37. S. (01:08:46) In the beginning you said that we have to pay attention to the mutual help between us, to what extent does every friend yearn to support the others. Maybe I didn't understand correctly or heard correctly about how each friend is examining, how much we are close to one another. You used the word examine, to check as though I need to first believe that they’re already in Lishma, the friends are Lishma. You said that we should constantly examine and analyze ourselves, analyze the connections between us. Maybe you can open it up?
R. We need to believe that the friends are in a high degree, that will always help us. This is how we need to ascend, meaning constantly try to adhere to the friends even if I don't see that they are greater than me. Nevertheless what I do as an act of annulment towards them already raises me up and gives me that possibility.
S. But if I understand correctly, they are above me, they hold me?
R. Yes, yes, yes.
38. S. (01:10:47) What is love built of?
R. Love is built, it's not there. Love is built from conceding, making concessions towards one another, where from the morning till night I am annulling and annulling before the other, making concession towards the other and him to me, and this is how we begin to love one another. To the extent in which I see that he gave up for me, I love him. To the extent in which I have given up for him, I have given him the opportunity, the possibility to love me. You can say but this is an egotistical love. Try to do it. Try to concede try to make a concession to the other. All the time you want to constantly make concessions towards your friend and then you will see how this approach is not an approach for egoistic love but rather an approach for spiritual connection.
39. S. (01:12:41) We study in the ten that through the ten we come to the work in Lishma. When we reach Lishma what happens to the ten, it changes form, it changes a role?
R. You will change accordingly. There will be a part of the group that will already move to Lishma, a part that won’t and according to that there will be changes. I don't define this; this is defined from above and the Creator knows how to arrange things for you.
S. But who has transitioned to Lishma how does he feel his ten?
R. When we get there you will see this, I can't tell you yet.
Reading Excerpt # 4 (01:13:36) twice
40. S. (01:16:52) You just said that we should try to make concessions for one another. In the corporeal we more or less know what it means so make concessions, you concede before the husband or before the boss but in spirituality what does it mean to make concessions before the friend?
R. The concessions before the friends in spirituality means to constantly show an example to them. Just as it seems to you, you’d be helping them to advance forward. That’s what I can say.
41. S. (01:17:51) To believe that we are in Lishma, does this mean that we need to see through our hearts and feel in our hearts a strong connection that we’re in Lishma?
R. We’re not not yet in that but that’s what we need to get to.
42. S. (01:18:20) When we reach Lishma could it be that you fall back into Lo Lishma after you reach Lishma?
R. Well, I did not understand.
S. After you attain Lishma could there be a state that you fall back into Lo Lishma?
R. No, no, no. It is written about that that we are raised up in spirituality but never lowered.
43. S. (01:19:10) What are we going to find when we attain the connection or it doesn't matter what we find?
R. What will we attain in connection? We will attain in connection the real world which we exist in, we will feel the Creator which surrounds everything and manages everything, we will reveal past present and future and all that happens in all times and all places. It depends on the height of our Lishma. This is what we can attain.
44. S. (01:20:28) What qualifies us to move from Lo Lishma to Lishma?
R. Connection and bestowal, connection, and bestowal.
45. S. (01:21:08) Tell us please, is it very important to realize, recognize where we are in Lishma Lo Lishma, is it important? Or just to be and the environment the Creator gave us in every moment and second, what I can do today I'm going to do. Or it's very important to be aware where I am at?
R. We need to come closer to one another, to create those discernments, those connections between us.
46. S. (01:22:35) What is the true merit and value of bringing contentment to one’s maker?
R. It is as much as the person exert.
47. S. (01:23:07) The concessions sometimes cancel me and brings me to the left line. How can I overcome this obstacle?
R. You need to be happy in the concession. Where I can concede to someone by that measure I immediately come closer to the Creator because behind every friend stands the Creator. So if I make a concession towards someone I come closer to the Creator.
S. The challenge is that instead of conceding my ego repulses and it's work that I cannot overcome. I think that this is the moment where I can transition from Lo Lishma to Lishma but maybe I’m mistaken.
R. Are you married?
S. Yes. In February we're getting married, but I’ve lived with my wife for 12 years.
R. Ok, so ask her, she should help you overcome yourself. But then do what she says.
48. S. (01:25:12) How is the connection between Lo Lishma and Lishma?
R. The transition from Lo Lishma to Lishma, this is where a person is willing to give everything up.
S. How can we give up everything?
R. What do they have that you can’t give up? What is it that you have, tell me. What things do you have that are important, that are precious, valuable that you cannot give up?
S. My group, my ten.
R. If you don't give them up then you can leave them. Leave them.
Excerpt # 5 (1:29 ) Baal HaSulam, Shamati, Article No. 5,
49. R. (01:30:27)This is a difficult state. A person needs to know when he's exerting to attain Lishma. He is attempting to ,trying to reach Lishma meaning bestowal for everything from to take upon himself wanting to work entirely to bestow completely. Meaning only to bestow and not receive anything and only then he begins to see that the organs don't agree with this view. Then he starts to see the border that is considered to attain the boundary and from this he can come to clear awareness that he has no other choice but to pour his heart out to the Creator to help him so his body will agree to enslave himself to the Creator unconditionally. Simply to give himself and that's it what will be there there's no question since he sees that he cannot persuade his body to annul itself completely. It is a very, very special state, very strained, very exalted.
50. S. (01:32:06 How can we focus on Lishma while we are in Lo Lishma? How can we keep our desire and wish alive and strong?
R. When you give an example to one another to the extent that you are willing to concede everything just to be in connection and from your connection to try to yearn, to turn to the Creator, to connect with him then you will see how capable you are and how much strength you have and the Creator won't be able to refuse. The Creator will not refuse specifically to the women. Try and you will see how much more successful you are then the men. This is called thanks to righteous women, the people of Israel emerged from Egypt. What does it mean thanks to righteous women? When they connect in such a way and demand for the Creator to connect between them even more. Then they demand to be connected to Him and then they exit the control that they are under and the Creator cannot refuse because they seek justice. A woman in this world has much less selfish desire than a man does, and we need to use this correctly.
51. S. (01:34:22) The question is about the concessions. The enslavement, this concession, I feel it is above reason. The question is how to reach these concessions to be above my desires that they will truly be above my reason?
R. Look at your friends to the extent in which they want to connect or as much as they're crying that they don't want that they can't connect and then learn from them. That is how each wants to learn from the other. One will help one's friend. Try,
52. S. (01:35:24) Before attaining Lishma we cannot depict it so how can we raise our desire to attain Lishma and how can we visualize our Ten in Lishma?
R. The Creator makes all these preparations and we only upon his preparations need to ask Him to implement, To implement that which He prepared. We are not allowed to forget; we cannot forget that we are working with him as partners.
53. S. ( 01:36:18) The question from the Ten, what action should we perform in order to get the body working in Lishma?
R. Only connection between us. This is how we will have to annul before one another and to make the goal greater for which we need to annul and more than that we don't need anything.
54. S. (01:37:04) What am I making concessions for?
R. I didn't understand.
S. What do I make concessions for? You said that I need to make concessions?
R. You're making a confession of your ego.
S. That is what I don't understand. What do you mean by concessions of my ego?
R. You can't find the ego in you?
S. I can. It's just rising. I can do it.
R. If you can locate it ,you can notice that it's there. Then try to understand that if you overcome it you will disregard it somewhat. By that you can come closer to the Creator.
S. Then what is left for me?
R. What is left of you? A beautiful wise woman, everything remains except for the stinking ego.
S. May I ask another question? In corporeality when I reach Lishma is corporality going to change or will it stay the same?
R. Corporeality does not change, it can only take colors.
S. What does it mean?
R. Well like you put on a colorful filter on the photograph and you see that the picture changes.
S. Their relations with others outside?
R. Yes of course, certainly everything changes because you are changing.
55. S. (01:39:15) I have a question about the fourth excerpt. It is written that the path to reach is limited by time. My question is what does it mean to control one's heart?
R. You don't know what it means?
S. I'm only trying.
R. Yes, you can, you can believe.
S. So far no.
R. Are you married already? Then you need to start trying already. You have to start practicing and how to annul yourself towards your husband and then towards your children. Then all together before everyone but such that they don't know about it. In a way that they will not know it. It is very beneficial and I can say the same thing towards the men. Practice annulling yourselves before your wives. Enough you didn't answer that's good. You got two good advices, that's enough.
56. S. (01:41:09) About what you just mentioned, how to correctly utilize the connection with the Creator and have practical actions to help as a team the men. Many times we women understand that we have some tools to help but how to use them in the right way. Maybe you can give us some advice?
R. Pray and no more than that just pray, and you will see how everything succeeds.
57. S. (01:42:02 ) You said that love is built from concessions to one another and how can I concede to the Creator? In general how do I give to the Creator unconditionally if the body resists?
R. There's nothing you can do here. You need to ignite the prayer, you need to ask him to do it so this, ask him to give you forces to operate against Him so that He Himself will give you the forces to act against Him. It's the Creator that is creating the egoism inside of you and you're asking him to cancel it or for Him to give you forces to overcome it. To overcome Him so there is nothing scary here. Just to appeal to Him.
58. S. (01:43:07 ) How to annul myself before my friends? How to make concessions? How to make concessions to the friends, towards the friends if we talked about how behind every friend there is the creator but on the other hand we say that my friends are the reflection of my egotistical characters that I see before me?
R. In short, you have got confused. Well what can we do? Take one part of this confusion and do only it, meaning I must return to the Creator in order for Him to help me rise above my ego. That's it, and the other part I don't pay attention to. Later I will also connect the other part to it. You are a wise woman, and you will succeed. I am happy to see before me today, your group.
59. S. (01:44:45 ) When we will be in Lishma is this going to be expressed through love towards the Ten, love towards the whole group. love towards the whole world?
R. Of course, this is what we call absolute love. That's how it will be.
60. S. (01:45:11) It is written in the excerpt to agree to enslave to the Creator without any conditions and the agreement already requires an agreement to something, can you explain what it means to be in slaves to the Creator unconditionally?
R. What is not clear? That I agree with the Creator under all the conditions that He puts before me.
S. What condition does he present before me?
R. It doesn't matter which conditions; whatever He presents before me I annul my whole resistance and with every desire of mine. Which is the opposite. I want to carry out his command.
61. S. (01:46:32) Can we improve our qualities just by working towards Lishma or this search can exist in Lo Lishma and then we will move to the next level?
R. Yes, it is possible.
62. S. (01:47:09) What vessels are we checking that are in Lo Lishma? Is there a special response from the side of the Creator? How can we discover them in the Ten?
R. We want to be connected to the Creator Lishma or Lo Lishma, it doesn't matter what state we are in. Try to feel his attitude and relation towards our state and accordingly react. This is basically what we need to do, other than that we can ask which is beyond our state. Ask for various changes and this is how we advance but the main thing is to all the time try to feel, try to think what relations am I in now with the Creator and always be in mutuality.
63. S. (01:48:36) You said to annul ourselves before the children without them knowing about this, that I'm annulling before them, but who is going to educate them? Who is going to educate them, them, the Creator?
R. No, you are going to educate them after you annul yourself
S. If the Creator is depicting in this picture for example, that I annul before someone, my friends for example, and if I do so it will be some damage to someone. How to nonetheless annul myself? That is what it seems to me? That if I depict this to me that the Creator is going to bring some bad consequences?
R. I don't know what to tell you. You have some confusion in your head and I don't want to tell you. Maybe you should write. When a person writes she often understands he often understands what he wants to say.
S. For example, if I seem that the child is not behaving properly and what he's doing can cause damage to his sister, to his brother.
R. Okay ladies, ladies we cannot discuss these right now. We have a congress not with the kids, not with the brothers or sisters? I apologize.
S. But our Ten is also our children
R. No, no, no, no, don't confuse one with the other, kids are kids and friends are friends. Don't ever confuse it otherwise you will wonder god knows where.
64. S. (01:51:08) If I turn to the Creator with all my desires how do I feel his help? How do I feel Him?
R. Again
S. If I address all of my complaints to the Creator, how do I then feel Him in this state?
R. You feel Him in the true state of he's in relation to you this is how we need to see that.
65. S. (01:52:20) In this excerpt it says about a prayer and these days all over the world we are creating this mutual deficiency that is necessary to give yourself to the upper, how do I give myself to the upper so I can marry the prayer?
R. Turn to Him as you turn to the closest friend and that's it. The Creator doesn't need to be something distant for you. He needs to be very, very close and then you will certainly reach Hm.
S. How do we, together, pass to the Creator what we had created together?
R. Give it to Him from the heart if you want to pass it to Him to give it to Him. This is what happens if I need to fill back in your heart what he wants to answer to you.
66. S. (01:53:33) How can we connect to the degree Bina in order to receive the force of bestowal? What actions can we do in order to hasten this process?
R. Only closeness between us, coming close between us it can influence the hastening of our speed. There's nothing more. No other suggestion, no other action.
67. S. (01:54:27) When I speak to the Creator is that the 'Prayer of Many'?
R. No, it can also be the conversation of the individuals.
S. Shouldn't I be one with the Ten in order to bestow?
R. Yes
S. How can I be one and only and also one with my Ten?
R. As one man with one heart and then there is no problem.
68. S. (01:55:13) What does it mean to open my heart to the Creator? How should this be done? Talking to Him or to request from Him or should we cry to Him?
R. This I don't know. This you need to know. You need to open your heart to your friends and maybe the heart of the friend is a heart of stone and you won't be able to open it. Then you need to do another action, and another action and another action, and then maybe after years, maybe after years, you will reach a state where the heart of the friend opens. That you will have from that big reward, a big profit.
S. Will being afraid of revealing the Creator be our Kli?
R. No, we are not afraid of the revelation of the Creator. We will fear from the revelation of the Creator when we have a Masach, Reshimot, and when we're in front of the upper light surrounding and will have the strength to receive it in order to bestow, Then I will be in fear. Will I be able to receive in order to bestow? This is high pleasure? This is already the second part of the path.
69. S. (01:57:26) It is written to give everything unconditionally to completely nullified oneself. What does that mean because we are also people who have to sleep, eat?
R. This doesn't count as reception because this is how you are created, on the animate level you don't have to pay attention. Only the human, only the human level.
70. S. (01:58:52) What kind of mindset must I demand from the Creator to see all of my friends in the state of Lishma? How can I develop an understanding of this?
R. This is not a simple question. How can I see my friends who are in Lishma if some of them aren't in Lishma? It's not a simple question. I already have to rise to the certain degree that is called prophecy and we haven't spoken about that nor we have reached it.
71. S. (02:00:09) The fourth excerpt is written “in the state is not limited by time but the measure of his control in one's heart, what is the meaning of ‘measure of control’?
R. Depend on people who are qualified on the path.
S. In English, it reads “qualities”, what qualities are needed to reach Lishma?
R. It is like when we need to grow and get closer on an unpaved path, and we need to qualify it in order to walk it, go over it in the right way confidently and safely, this is what we need.
72. S. (02:02:01) You said that we need to try to feel the approach of the Creator towards us, what is that exactly that we need to seek, to search, if so?
R. For what to search? All of our work is to search the heart of the friend, the ten, that through the ten, we connect to the rest of the tens of Bnei Baruch, of the global Kli, and then through that the rest of humanity, all of humanity, this is the path. Our way to connect all of the heart, that in that we will bring them to the Creator.
S. Is it towards ever state that the Creator places before us can we find his attitude as the Good Who Does Good?
R. Yes we have to see in every state that we receive, that we receive it from None Else Besides Him and we get it from the Good Who Does Good, and as much as we do not feel that is so it shows us of the correction that we have to perform or of ourselves.
73. S. (02:04:01) If there is a resistance, resistance towards connection, should we share this, talk about this in the ten, how to overcome this state?
R. This way and that way, be concerned with it yourself and share with others so they can help.
74. S. (02:04:40) When I'm getting closer to my friend, why do I get the feeling that they do not hear me?
R. I cannot tell you what the reasoning I first need to check myself, do I hear them? If my ear is broken then I can say that they do not hear me or that I don't hear them. I don't know where the flaw is, is it with them or is it with me? So it's good to check, we should check, “what does it mean that they don't hear me? When we’re talking together, discussing, when there are several people not just two, and then we see to what degree we are in a connection between us, that we understand one another. You need to speak more amongst yourself but stick to the point, speak to the point, not to get confused.
75. S. (02:06:27) We are all gathered, the groups of Balti, we’re in Latvia, there are many friends from all over Balti, more than one hundred people! And we are very impressed with great impression. We would like to ask how to raise to the Creator this desire to Lishma so that He will hear us?
R. I don't know what to respond, I have been answering this all this time, and they're asking again and again, I don't know. Let us talk about it tomorrow evening, we will go a day and another day of the Congress, and tomorrow evening you will ask me this same question. Will it be just as unclear as it is right now.
76. S. (02:07:52) Gradually as we approach the Creator we see our ego rising, so what can we do to prevent this growing so we will come to the light off Lishma?
R. I didn't understand the question.
S. When we come closer to the Creator will see that our ego grows and rises, what can we do against that so that really we do miss our arrival to Lishma?
R. We just need to keep going, we don't care if the ego rises and it’s good that it rises, we can’t come with the small ego to receive Lishma. Lishma, precisely, specifically, is received with a big ego and we so we shouldn't be afraid of it rather we are rising above the ego and when the ego rises, we need to demand of it to be in Lishma.
Reading (02:10:11 - 02:12:51) #6 “One must receive the power to work Lishma from the upper one…” twice
Reading (02:16:51 - 02:17:44) #7 “We should know that the degree of Lo Lishma is a very important degree, and we haven’t the intellect to appreciate the importance of Torah and Mitzvot Lo Lishma...”
Reading (02:17:58 - 02:20:57) #8 “Only after he achieves this degree called Lo Lishma, he is rewarded with other phenomena...” twice
77. S. (02:21:00) How can someone love us when our annulment is in concealment, how can one love us in this state?
R. We love one another not because each is made in this, into some high, exalted, special spiritual degree but because we want to cleave, adhere to the Creator, and reach connection with one another to be ‘as one man with one heart’. We are judged according to our goal and not according to what each has attained; hence, someone who is just starting and entering our society is, for us, just as important as someone who has been with us for ten years let's say. And we need to love each accordingly because we want to be included into one system that is called Adam HaRishon.
78. S. (02:22:35) How can the connection between us take place if every friend is depicting something else?
R. I didn't understand anything?
S. How are the connection can take place between us if each of us wants something different?
R. It doesn't matter, approximately, approximately, we want something that is above our ego where we are connected together and this is how we want all of humanity to connect as an example of one person, one man, and this is enough, this is enough.
79. S. (02:24:28) The excerpt that we just read said that we get to the state in Lishma where we bestow to bestow. This means that in Lishma we become one with the Creator and at that point we don't feel the desire to receive because we are one with the Creator and the desire of the friends are our desires are no difference?
R. Yes, yes.
80. S. (02:25:55) Arabic Dissemination
81. R. (02:33:45) I am very happy that many people and groups have joined that really, the audience was great in number and quality, and I hope that we will continue and strengthen more and more, so let's continue. In the meantime, we will go on a short break.
Student reads Congress schedule
R. Okay, great, so I wish everyone a good time with their friends and good luck.
