You can find this article in our Passover booklet in Hebrew, and this is from the writings of the ARI, the Gate of Intention, the first Drush, Concerning Passover and the Exodus from Egypt; we're starting from the exile of Egypt. Let's keep our intention together during the reading.

(00:47) ARI, the Gate of Intention, Concerning Passover and the Exodus from Egypt

The exile of Egypt made the upper Israel, Zeir Anpin, to become concealed again in the conception of, inside the upper Ima, Gimel de-Gimel. And there is the rule of Egypt and Pharaoh, the upper shells in the upper Keter, and then shines in the dot of Zeir Anpin, only 10 clothings, 10 Eke squared, 210 which is the number of the exile, of years in the exile of Egypt. 10 names Eke with the filling of fillings and in every filling, filling of the filling is 27 letters, 27 times 10 equals 270 which is Er. They are the sparks of semen of Adam HaRishon that he made as bad.

Therefore the years of the exile of Egypt depend on the name Eke whose 10 posterior ones are 210 years. Then the Creator told him, the end of their exile does not depend on the HaVaYoT of Daat that departed, but on the posterior of the names of Eke that remained in Daat of Zeir Anpin, from which the external ones suckle in the exile. And according to the number of the place of their suckling is the number of the years that they reign, 210. And therefore that's when their time of redemption comes.

Pharaoh, an evil and sorcerer, knew about the departure of Zeir Anpin and its return to conception in the upper Ima. Then Zeir Anpin HaVaYoT does not inspect and govern the world. So when Moses came to him, he said, I didn't know the Creator, because he saw that the suckling of the upper klipa that rules him over Pharaoh did not suckle from there. And this is, I haven't known the Creator, Zeir Anpin HaVaYaH, who is the Creator that I shall listen to his voice. That Zeir Anpin, that you come to me as his messenger, where is he that I shall listen to him? He departed his providence and entered a conception.

That's what's written that the Creator burdened the heart of Pharaoh, that he heard there the name of the Lord from Moses and this strengthened his heart because he knew with his wisdom that he disappears in conception and does not become revealed. So did he admit by the name of Elohim? Because Yosef told him, Elohim will torture the health of Pharaoh. And he went back and said that the Lord informed you. It turns out that he was revolting against the name HaVaYaH and admitting the name Elohim.

The matter is that during the time of Gadlut of Zeir Anpin, he has Mochin of the name HaVaYaH, and during the time of Katnut or the time of conception, he has Mochin of Elohim, as we know. And since now Zeir Anpin was in the way of conception, he had Mochin of Elohim, not of HaVaYaH, therefore he was a heretic with respect to HaVaYaH and was grateful to Elohim.

The rule of the external ones, not in the name HaVaYaH, but in the name Elohim, therefore when Zeir Anpin is in Ibur, there was Mochin of Elohim, and then there was an ability for the external ones to suckle and grip there. Because the name Elohim spreads many degrees until at the end, last degree, from the yeast of the wine in it, they, from their end, emerge the Klipot. They are called other gods. As written, God ruled over nations.

Three types of Mochin exist in the time of Katnut and Ibur, and they are three names Elohim. And from there, the shells of Egypt and Pharaoh grip, that he grips onto the back of the neck, the back of the Daat. Three ministers of Pharaoh, the minister of the drinks, the minister of the pastries, and the minister of the chefs, they are from three Elohim. This is why they are called other gods, because other in Gematria means Garon. That in Gematria, three names Elohim that expand in the Garon, and by their expansion into many degrees, the yeasts come out of them at their end of their expansion, and they become others like the Garon, where they begin to suckle, which is the upper Keter, and there is the hold of Egypt.

The measure of the expansion of the name Elohim to the measure of 120 combinations, because the five letters build the 120 houses. And these are the 120 combinations. They are from the degree of Kedusha. They begin from Zeir Anpin of Beria until the end of Assiya. From there and below, there's the Klipa of other gods, and every suckling of the Klipa from the 120 combinations, even though they are Kedusha, the upper wine, where the yeast, the Klipa, are held on to.

The suckling of Egypt and Pharaoh, not from all the 120 combinations of Elohim, only from the last 48 combinations that depend on two letters, Yud, Mem, from Elohim, because the 24 combinations in every letter, Aleph, Lamed, Kaf, Yud, Mem, and their sum total is 24 times 5 equals 120 combinations. And this is what's written, who is the Lord that I shall listen to Him, because by the force of their suckling from the 48 last combinations, which correspond to the two letters Mem, Yud of Elohim, he was a heretic of the name HaVaYaH, because if Mochin of HaVaYaH of Gadlut would be revealed, his suckling from the letters of Mem, Yud of Elohim of conception are cancelled.

And when he saw that he had their suckling and grip on the letters of Mem, Yud of Elohim, his instruction was for the HaVaYaH was not revealed, and therefore he was a heretic of the name HaVaYaH. And the Lord, however, in order to subdue him, hit him with ten plagues from the three letters of Eleh of Elohim, which he did not have grip on and did not suckle from. This is what's written, for I gave signs among them, for these are the three letters of Eleh of Elohim, that Pharaoh didn't have the suckling and grip on, and he wanted to smite him and connect him with two letters Mem, Yud, that are in the midst of Pharaoh as he suckles from them. And by their connection, the name Elohim is completed, which is the force of Din, judgment, and by which he strikes him.

I do not wonder that why Egypt, the head of the kingdoms, because the head of the four rivers of Gan Eden is Pishon, and if so, how does it suckle from the last two letters of Elohim? For the letters Mem, Yud are better than the letters Eleh. Mem, Yud are the 50 days between Passover and Atzeret. The combinations whose beginning is in the letters Mem, Yud, 24 combinations in the Yud, and 24 combinations in the Mem. They are both 48 combinations. Therefore, the land of Egypt, this is the land of Chum, as written, wonders in the land of Chum, that they suckle from the 48 combinations. Also as written, Chum, son of Noah, father of Egypt. As written, sons of Chum, Kush, and Mitzrayim, Egypt.

Pharaoh thought, since Zeir Anpin disappeared into the conception of Ima again, so he will not come out of the belly of the upper Ima, likewise, the lower children of Israel, named after Zeir Anpin, which is called Israel, they too will remain in the exile in Egypt, because the upper Israel, which governs them, is cancelled from reality. Therefore, the Creator sent him through Moses, so said the Lord, my firstborn son, Israel, to hint at the upper firstborn son, Israel, that exists and did not cancel. And he informed him that because he was a heretic of his reality, he will be stricken in one measure against another measure, with the plague of the firstborn sons.

And as he was a heretic of the firstborn upper son, and if so, if you do not send them, I shall kill your firstborn son. And the firstborn son comes from the holy son of the upper firstborn son, that he shall ask you that question, because the Pharaoh wanted to go against that and detain Israel in the exile under his authority.

The exile of Egypt.

A. That the upper Israel, Zeir Anpin, went back to conception, which is the exile of Israel, the lower ones, within Egypt.

B. Due to his ascent upwards, the five Hassadim that expand in VAK depart from him, and they rose up in their root, the Moach of Daat, to the Garon, to the end of Yesod of Ima in Zeir Anpin. And there, in the Garon, there is a hold of the shell of Egypt, a narrow place where the Moach of Daat shines in the Guf of Zeir Anpin, only in the posterior of the clothing of Yesod of Ima, which are ten bloods.

These two matters are intertwined, because the flavor of the lower one causes the upper one, because therefore he had to go back to conception. And that's what's written in Yechezkel, and I shall pass over you and see you soaking in your blood, because you're soaking in harsh work in mortar and brick. And this is for your blood, meaning for those ten bloods that shine and expand in Zeir Anpin. That's why there's overcoming and suckling for the external ones. And therefore they overcame to subdue Israel and enslave them with harsh work. And therefore it says, you shall live by your blood, because thanks to the blood for which you were enslaved, the upper life will be extended, which is the matter of the birth of Zeir Anpin and its growth.

Then Mochin of Gadlut will enter him, called Life, which are Eke, Yudke, Vavke, Eke. By this life you shall come out of exile. And since in the two bloods, the pure blood and the impure blood, therefore he said, two times in your blood live, in your blood live — two bloods, the blood of Passover and the blood of circumcision.

The blood of circumcision is pure from the Hesed that appears in the pale of Ima, Yesod of Trua. And blood of Passover corresponds to Gevurot in Nukvah, because the Pesach in the Nukvah. Therefore, they corrected the verse in the Haggadah. It turns out that the redemption from Egypt is by a great miracle, because the people of Egypt and Pharaoh had a grip and were rooted to suckle from the upper Daat of Zeir Anpin until Zeir Anpin went back to Gimel de-Gimel, which is the utter reduction, that there is nothing less than that, and that necessitated the upper Emanator to give birth to Zeir Anpin again and make him greater with utter greatness, so that the suckling of the external ones will be cancelled due to the great light there, and thus they will come out of exile.
