4. When the north wind awakens at midnight and the herald comes out, and the Creator comes to the Garden of Eden to play with the spirits of the righteous, all the queen’s sons and all the members of the hall awaken to praise the holy king, ZA. At that time, all those deposits of spirits that were given into the hand of Malchut, she returns them all to their owners, and at that time, most of the people in the world awaken from their sleep, and everyone’s deposits are returned to them.
5. Those who are among the members of the upper hall, servants of the Creator, persist, and awaken and engage in praising the Torah, and connect with the assembly of Israel, Malchut, until daylight shines. When the morning comes, he and all the members of the king’s hall come to the holy king, ZA, and they are called “the children of the king and queen.”
6. When the morning comes, he should cleanse himself in everything, both cleanness of the body and the cleanness of the soul, and arm himself with his weapons, with a Tzitzit and with Tefillin, to exert with the holy king, ZA. This is so because at night, he exerted with the queen, and now, in the morning, he comes with the queen to connect her with the king.
7. He comes to the synagogue, purifies himself by saying the offerings, praises with the praises of King David. With a Tefillin gripping his head, a Tzitzit at the edge of his garment, and says “Glory to David.” One who prays a prayer before his master should stand in the prayer like the upper angels, to bond with them, as they are called “those who stand,” as it is written, “And I will give you steps among these who are standing.” He should aim his will before his master and make his request
8. When a person rises at midnight from his bed to engage in Torah, a herald calls out about him and says, “Behold! Bless the Lord all servants of the Lord who stand in the house of the Lord at night.” In the morning, when he stands in prayer before his master, that herald calls out about him and says, “And I will give you steps among these who are standing.”
9. After he completes his prayer willingly before his master, he must give up his soul, with the desire of the heart, to Malchut. There are several counsels for a person in anything. When he is in prayer, all those words that a person utters from his mouth in that prayer rise up and breach airs and firmaments until they reach the place they reach and are crowned in the head of the king, who makes from them a crown. A person should aim that the prayer he asks of the Creator will be a prayer of pleading. How do we know that? From Moses, as it is written, “And I pleaded with the Lord.” This is a good prayer.
