99. Rabbi Shimon opened and said, “The songs of songs that is for Solomon.” It is written, “He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing.” Several times did the Creator admonish Israel to return them in repentance to Him, so they would walk on the straight path in order to rise among them. This is because when Israel merit and walk on the straight path, it is seemingly an ascent for the Creator with them from all the nations of the world, for when Israel merit and walk on the straight path, the Creator raises them above all the people in the world, and everyone thanks and praises Him.
And not only they, but even the upper ones above all thank Him for Israel. Moreover, He actually rises in His glory thanks to Israel. Even more, even Israel actually rise by the glory of the Creator, above and below.
100. When Israel are kosher [worthy/merit], the throne above, Malchut, rises ever upward by several joys, several love, the worlds—ZA and Malchut—conjoin in gladness, all are blessed from the depth of the streams, Bina, and all the worlds are watered, blessed, and sanctified in several blessings, several sanctities, and the Creator rejoices with them in joy, in wholeness.
101. When Israel do not merit, everything is to the contrary. For this reason, the love of the Creator is not denied of them, and His throne, Malchut, sits on them like a mother over the children, who does not stop asking for mercy for them.
102. With the voice with which Malchut asks for mercy over Israel, she rises up to ZA, since he desires he who advocates his children. How do we know this? From Moses, who ascended in an ascent because he advocated them, Israel, as it is written, “Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone.” When did he rise to this glory? When Israel sinned, and he spoke in their favor.
103. “He who continually goes forth weeping” due to the iniquities of Israel. “Bearing seed for sowing” is the throne, Malchut, bearing the seed for sowing the upper holiness, the seed of the souls of Israel in order to bear fruits and offspring, to bear the souls in this world.
104. when Malchut rises in the voice of Israel, in the voice of asking for mercy on Israel, although Israel are not kosher, nevertheless, the Creator, ZA, raises her and lets her drink from the potions of the deep stream, Bina, and she is completed from all the sides. Then, as it is written, “He shall doubtless come with singing,” meaning out of that wholeness and blessings and sanctities that she has been completed. In the beginning, when they sinned, he went forth weeping for the iniquities of Israel, and when they repented, he shall doubtless come with singing.
105. When Solomon built the Temple, and the lower world, Malchut, was completed like the upper world, Bina, Israel were all kosher and rose by several high degrees. Then the throne, Malchut, rose with joy in several joys and several values.
106. Then “The song of songs that is for Solomon” rose with joy and descended in joy, all the worlds were in joy, and the bonding was in joy. A song to the Creator is when Malchut sings to the Creator. The songs are to the upper ones and lower ones, to the connection of ZA and Malchut through Yesod, which unites them with one another. “That is for Solomon” is the connection of all the worlds in joy, to the king that peace is all his, Bina. All this was determined according to the words of Elijah.
