1.Rav’s Introduction: To annul before the upper one is our daily work. The upper one, relative to us, is the group where we acquire the first shape of annulment coming out of ourselves and annulling towards the other towards that which is outside of us. Outside of us is only the Creator as Baal HaSulam writes and Rabash writes to us, that a person who feels he exists by himself, this is specifically how you should do the work of coming closer to the Creator. But to do this work he needs to do it towards the society he’s in. Therefore, all of our work is in this way to the extent that we connect to the friends and all of us together with our common efforts, annul ourselves towards the Creator and in this way we come to our second nature, to in order to bestow. We begin to feel ourselves in this quality of bestowal that is opposite to our nature, and in this way, we begin to feel a different reality. Instead of feeling it in the forces of reception, we will feel it in the forces of bestowal and the difference between the two is precisely the difference between this world and the upper world. The difference between the degree, the effort, the state of the creature, of the degree in the state and the effort of the Creator.

In order to cross this boundary, this border, to go from the state of the created being to the state of the Creator, we need a society and we need to do different exercises in it, which themselves can do nothing. What can they do? But we need to perform these exercises that invite the reforming light. We are like little children when we play with something and we don't know why or how but if we do it, we awaken the upper force and it shines on us, it clothes in us, educates us, develops us, and we begin to be smarter, wiser, understand more, more mature. It is all through the games if we place a person in the forest without a society and without different means by which he can grow more refined and complex, he will remain as an animal unless he comes to a human society and begins to incorporate in the relationship between us a special relationship. Then by that we know that this is what influences him and he will improve. That's why it is extremely important to us in what environment a person that receives his education who corrects and improves him and brings him to the form of Adam, the form of man. According to those who work on him we can say what will be of him, what form of man will be a result of that. Therefore, the environment is very important, annulment to the environment, from the side of the person and only in this way can he be certain something will come out of it. He could be perhaps a great scientist or do other things but in order to develop towards recognizing the world, the general nature of the upper nature, he can do that only if he is being developed by a human system. Because from the still, vegetative, and animate, man is in the highest position of the ladder of evolution.

The important thing for us is to develop the man, in man, and each one in this way needs to take care of himself and ask if he is truly developing the human in him. Human, Adam from ‘Adam’ I will resemble the Creator. This is how he needs to be towards his environment just like the Creator he is good and he does good, very simple. So we have to make the efforts to be good who does good towards our environment and then it is certain that by that we will resemble the Creator more and we will come closer to him according to the equivalence of form, we begin to feel his qualities and we will understand his actions because we will be exactly in the same actions, desires, thoughts as him and we will understand one another. This is the entire method of approaching the Creator by man and the revelation of the Creator by man is the purpose of creation. We are meant to educate himself and develop himself and raise himself to such a state where he will truly be like the Creator. The name of the Creator will be upon you.

As it is written this is the purpose of our development, the correct form of development we need to obtain. We will continue to learn about it, we just need to know that this work can only take place in the environment, in cleaving to the environment, drawing forces from it and changing it so it will become this exhilarating force, helpful force to subjugate oneself to the society. in these mutual work between each one of us and society as each of us wishes to annul to the society he begins to feel that the society is not just a collection of people but it's a group, it's a force, designed for us and organized for us from above in the Creator himself is arranging the society towards each and every one. Our entire participation in the society is about the study of how to come closer to the Creator. and all the laws and qualities and discernments that we acquire. All of it is called Torah. How to resemble the Creator, this method is called Torah.

Meaning we realize, we actualize and implement everything in the connection between us and in the tendency for the Creator to be in the connection between us and for Him to guide us. We will constantly yearn for His image, meaning the form and force of love and bestowal will always dwell between us and buy that each one from the 10 ascents, descents, connects, disconnects from others, we find ourselves in such mutual movements between us all of us. More and more each time we discover the Creator dwells between us specifically through the ascents and descents, mutual ups and downs between us and relative to Him. This is our work and we are already in it. We just need to give it all of our attention. I think that we will begin to feel just how much each and every action of ours leaves an impression and we can connect between us, between us and the Creator, and we will discover with Him a tight connection, a constant connection, which is the purpose of creation.

2. S. (11:48) You say the upper force, what do you mean precisely by reckoning the upper force and how do we reckon this upper force?

R. To awaken the upper force is possible by trying to connect between us and all the flaws that we see in our connection where we see we are incapable of connecting, all of us collectively are asking to correct them. All the states in which we do feel that we have reached a certain degree of connection between us, we should be grateful for this. This way we stay in the scrutiny, either positive relationships or negative relationships, we climb the ladder using both legs and when we understand that we cannot advance, we cannot ascend except when we are using both.

(13:45) I heard you say in the beginning of the lesson that to the extent we all connect to the friends and we nullify together towards the Creator we achieve a second nature, so how can I be responsible for the annulment of the friends if I don't see the action of nullification that they are doing?

R. Through the example you set for them and your prayer for them. These two, you can give them a lot of strength for them to acquire all the changes, this is the meaning of each shall help his friend.

S. But I don't see it on the outside. I can't see if it works or not?

R. You should do and that's what you have to carry out. You are doing it not in order to see those things, you're doing it in order to carry out your actions towards the friends, and that's even if you don't see any changes, you must do it because here you establish your connection with them and you are correcting the system of Adam HaRishon. S. So this condition you presented in the beginning, you said that together we need to nullify it before the Creator. To nullify together is basically the effort I need to do without seeing, just to keep making the efforts that will lead us to nullify together?

R. I don't see a connection between the two. Together, meaning that we see it? I need to do these actions because the sages told me to do it and I can't see them for the time being because I am in order to receive, so I do it in order to come out, in order to rise above only because I wish to enter Lishma, in order to annul towards the upper one, so I'm doing it. I can't demand to see it on the spot. There is no action that is more egoistic because if I could see the results from my action then I would surely do it. This is something that is possible within someone's smaller ego but nothing more than that. In our spiritual advancement we do not demand such things because it will come directly from within the ego. I don't want to see the results from my actions. I want to keep the actions that Kabbalists are telling me about.

S. So at this point there is no meaning for the togetherness that at this point it is just the effort that I need to make?

R. Why can't we be together? We decide that we are doing certain actions and we do them together and this is how we advance.

4. S. (22:02) We learned that a person needs to submit himself to the friends and according to what I understand from this, he says one doesn't need to lower himself. It all depends on the others who belittle him so how do we work with?

R. There's all kinds, meaning if I am in a society then, first of all, I need to try to lower myself and humiliate myself before the friends and it doesn't mean that I make myself a joke; rather, I constantly work with my will to receive as much as possible so I would try to work with it in order to bestow to them, to serve the society. If I see the friends who despise me then I am happy but it comes from the Creator. He is giving me an opportunity to accept it correctly that I am truly so I am humiliated. I am lowered, lowly, and this helps me greatly to approach the Creator. “The Creator is high and the lowly will see,” meaning as we accept our true lowliness, we are coming closer to the Creator and we are able to see Him.

R. We can't explain it using our own words because they are all coming from within our world. There is no feeling, here, of Mochin of Hochma, of light of Hassadim, meaning we have to see it's possible to see the Creator as the light of Hochma on the condition that we are rewarded of the light of Hassadim than the light of Hochma clothed in the light of Hassadim then only then we begin to see it in this is what we are learning for.

6. S. (24:50) How is my lowliness connected to the greatness of the Creator, how do these things depend on each other?

R. The difference is in the gap that you establish between you and the Creator. The more you raise His greatness as a bestower, as a lover and how much you lower yourself because you only want to receive for yourself and you repel everyone. As much as you can understand this great gap between you but still from all those actions on yourself, you wish to come closer to the Creator, this is all our work and the gap between us this abyss, truly does appear as in abyss and we will try nevertheless to think how we can skip over it. In this way you will make it.

7. S. (26:22) Says here it is a law that therefore people respect him he feels whole and when people despise think of himself as low so it is better to feel a whole or low with regards to the world and with regards to the Creator?

R. Both, feel himself whole in order to bestow to them, the goal the method of correction, and together with that to feel oneself as lowly despicable because who am, I what am I, the Creator gave me everything to bestow His method to everyone. He made me into this pipe, into a messenger and that's why on one hand I am proud of it, on the other hand I feel that I am not any better than others. Rather I am more special than them only because the Creator gave me this knowledge for the time being. The more I am able to connect myself, all the people of the world who would want to receive through me the method of the Creator in the fulfillment from Him, by that I can say that I have determined my state in the general system.

8. S. (27:59) Does the world despise me because I'm the will to receive and everything outside of me is only the Creator, is this a proper approach?

R. All so you can also say.

9. S. (28:29) What kind of work do I need to do to see my loneliness from the friend’s perspective?

R. To the extent you take care of them wholeheartedly, you would feel that although they are your students, you are actually lower than them. Then you'll learn from that as it's written, I have learned from all of my students.

10. S. (30:53) Why is it not the annulment towards the friend’s heart or lack? Why does it have to nullify before his reason?

R. It is what we grasp, what we perceive you understand, it has to do with human relationship how much each one is in his personal state, ascents and descents, on their spiritual degree relative to one another more or less. R. I always need to measure what I had and what I have and what changed compared to the previous state. All of us together pray to him to demand and we must do this each and every moment and check how much we are coming closer to correctly realizing this action. So specifically, you when we feel ourselves in this fog, we feel helpless, weak, we cannot concentrate our attention, it does not matter. On the contrary this is what is the help the Creator is sending us.

14. S. (44:57) What is the meaning of Mochin of Hochma?

R. Mochin of Hochma is the light of Hochma that clothes the vessels of in order to bestow and it already ties together all the parts of the vessel to a single action. and it does that action. Let's say for our point, let's say this. Mochin of Hochma is the whole revelation of the Creator to the created being in the corrected vessels that are in order to bestow, that's what's called Mochin of Hochma.

15. S. (45:58) What you just described, what is the best way to participate in the morning lesson in that state.

R. To think about how to become closer to the friends, to bring about connections between them. Specifically, when I receive the disconnection, the weakness, look at them, look at their shape today, they are all asleep, they are all kind of detached. Each one is separated from the others and from the goal of the lesson and I feel that I am in that state also and their state influences me as well but how can I recover and awaken and rise and bring them some infusion so they begin to live this state and revive it correctly. Because these states specifically are as the light excels from darkness, the advantage of the light from within the darkness. The more darkness, confusion, weakness, helplessness is greater, the more they are felt, as a result of that specifically when I attain the light, I attain it in different forms that are correct, truthful, and high. This is what's important to me, this is what I need to learn. Here I begin to see what is faith above reason. That I can always erect myself from the worst possible states, from the lowliest states. and these states specifically are what builds me. All of my vessels are broken and the more they awaken, and I try to revive them and direct them to connection and accordingly I correct my soul.

S. Can I say that during the lesson everything you said now is in the thought and after the lesson I truly have to do it because now I can't do anything that you said, I can only think about it?

R. You can do it all, don't think you can't do this or you can't do that. Everything you try to do, do it all. take an example from a baby even though he can't, he is incapable, that's what we know, as grown-ups we know that but the baby disagrees. The baby does its own thing and we can't stand in its way and so it thinks it can do it all and it's good, it's the right approach to life, otherwise you don't develop. The world is owned by the audacious, those who say yes I can and of course without harming others in a positive way but the world belongs to the audacious. 16. S. (50:17) Where's the advantage of light when you are in the state of darkness?

What I want to say is in each and every state when a person is given he is showing another layer of the broken vessels and essentially they are shown so that he raises them towards correction. Meaning that he relates them to connection with the friends and between them and the Creator, that is basically the correction. So let's take all that we have today and try to raise this way, to try to rise that way, try to do this exercise like our topic annulling before the upper one, that's what we need, that only there we correct ourselves.

17. S. (58:56) How should each one of us, how can each one of us be such a pillar like Rabash? Do you have a recommendation to do this, do that in order to be that or is this something that is impossible?

R. No, no, no, each one can be as Moses, it is written. Each one can be as Moses because in an integral system there is no upper one and lower one only in this chain of scrutinies when we correct ourselves, then just like with generations of people when you have mothers and fathers and children and grandchildren and so on but in the chain itself the whole chain itself makes everyone equal it is completely round, it is a sphere. We have nothing to do besides carry out with the Kabbalists advise us. R. Yes

R. I don't know, ask the friends.

20. S. (1:07:05) Maybe I didn't understand, maybe we spoke about it before, but what does it mean to be independent without any help from the outside?

R. I don't know what you're talking about. What does it relate to?

S. It says here ‘for them to be able to be independent without any help from the outside’?

R. What text are you taking it from? How can you just take it and ask about it? I don't know exactly what you're talking about?

S. The beginning of excerpt number 21 it says ‘if several individuals come together with the force that it is worthwhile to abandon self-love but without the sufficient power and importance of bestow to become independent without outside help these individuals annul before one another, etc.’ So, what is that help from the outside?

R. If they have no sufficient power and importance of bestowal to become independent without outside help. Meaning that they cannot be in bestowal with their own strength.

21. S. (1:08:26) I heard when you said that we need to behave according to the state that we see before us now. In addition to the burdening of the heart, I see other things in the 10. For example, a friend in the ten who appears to be harming the 10. How do I need to work with it, do I need to annul before him?

R. No. If you all see that there is a very clear example of someone in the ten who is a disturbance in the ten, really ruining the 10, then you need to discuss among yourselves and decide what to do about it. Then I come to a state where I nullify myself towards the ten and then, along with the ten, I push them and advance them to nullify before the Creator. Then we have an arrow of ‘Israel, the light and the Creator are one’ as we say. That's how we advance. Try to do this and see how much it shines on you, how much it stabilizes you, and calibrates you in a stable way, from here to the final correction.

23. S. (1:11:56) How can we understand the individual states of darkness we get in the 10?

R. From lack of connection, from lack of love among you. This is where you can scrutinize what is your attitude to the Creator, the purpose of creation and the upper light. Let's say we measure electricity or some other phenomena in physics or something. We don't measure that. We measure something in a device. How do we measure the Creator, that He is closer or farther, that He takes different shapes or relationships with us. How do we find these things? We are connected amongst us and we build a device like that where we measure Him. Both in terms of intensity which is according to the intensity of our connection and also the character of His relationship to us, which is through the relationships between us. Meaning that between us we build a device where we can measure the Creator, the light, the relationship of the upper one to us. That is possible only by our quality of connection and disconnection between everyone that they will connect and move apart and be in different states. By that we will discover Him. But the principle is the same principle. Just as we measure some phenomena in nature, the same way we measure the Creator. Then we say the light of Hochma appears and Hassadim, this phenomenon or that phenomena. We never discover the light itself.

We always discover phenomena of the light from the light in our vessels. Meaning that our vessels are impressed by something and the reason for it is called light. Without establishing the group to be connected, to be properly directed towards attaining the Creator, sensing and measuring the Creator, without it we don’t begin to recognize Him. What is the wisdom of Kabbalah? It is receiving the revelation of the Creator within us. Feeling and measuring Him and aiming ourselves all of the time, calibrating ourselves all of the time, to perceive the Creator in us with more intensity, clarity, subtlety, and precision. This is how we advance. We do that on behalf of the vessels. We receive a phenomena in the vessels and we call this the upper light and we call it the Creator, Boreh. What is Boreh? It is ‘come and see.’ If you achieve this perception correctly then you see. But you don't grasp Him, rather the phenomena of being similar to Him in you, you measure and feel this phenomena. Just like any kind of device you use in our world, electric devices or any kind this is how it is. Because all of these phenomena are of the upper light also, and this is why they have the same shape of measurement and perception.

24. S. (1:17:38) If the vessel is the connection between us, what is this prayer in the connection?

R. The form of connection, the changes between the connection, the desire to be connected in a certain form, either a greater or other form, the type of connection, by intensity and according to qualities, according to the essence of connection. There are many things here and all of this is from the side of the vessel. And we are only talking about the vessel. Because according to this vessel we perceive the light. The light is abstract, it fills all of reality. All our work is only how to form the vessels, how to stabilize it. To understand how we do this, what light we then perceive in it, and the connection between the changes in the vessel and the changes in the light that is perceived in the vessel according to the equivalence of form. That is all of our work, there is no more than that.

S. You Also spoke about drawing the light that reforms at the beginning of the lesson. I understand that the vessel may establish the light inside it, but what draws the light that reforms, that brings this vessel to function properly?

R. The Creator operates and we are in the same upper light which all the time maintains and stabilizes us. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to exist at all. Our entire existence is only imagination, that the Creator builds a desire to receive that gives us life, it awakens us, pushing us forward, that we will begin to somehow awaken from our slumber and begin to operate and reach such sensations of deficiency and a desire to yearn for Him.

S. So the extent of connection between us that doesn't feel Him as a small amount of connection, when we increase the desire, then we can feel Him inside?

R. Of course but always the light is first, it is all from this side of the upper light first and then we will make it from our part and do something. It says I am always the first, that is how it is written from the side of the Creator.

S. What is from our side, how do we promote this, you said we want to bestow contentment to the Creator no matter what happens, how do we awaken without these states coming to us, so that we will not be late, we will be early?

R. For this you have a society, you have no opportunity to bestow to the Creator except through the society. To awaken Him and to truly change the entire program that He has towards you. As much as you will be more ready in the society to perform actions that bring you to the goal, in this you are awakening Him. This is called ‘who is Israel, those who desire to be direct to the Creator,’ that it is upon them that they are shortening the times. They are praying and demanding even in the form of, ‘the sons have won me over.’ Demanding to advance all of us forward, all together. You need to show that for this you have a foundation, that you have friends and a group and that you want all together to do, you have forces and care.

S. Acting won't help here as we know the vessel and the connection is small but we still want to hasten the time and increase the vessel? Does this work with the Creator?

R. Yes, we need to do all the actions that can awaken the Creator. That is all our work.

25. S. (1:22:40) You said that the outer world for Rabash is also the spiritual world, I separate from the spiritual work when I work in the outer world, how do I get to the state of Rabash?

R. That you are in external work but you are thinking of why am I doing this and truly this work that I am not interested in but I am doing it because the Creator commanded you to do so. He created the world this way so that you must be also in such work. As Kabbalists usually worked in all sorts of work. Baal HaSulam worked all sorts of things and Rabash worked in paving roadways and as a tailor. Days back then are not like today. Different times. He was also a clerk. Later on he had students in more modern times and they were accountants and people were more educated. It doesn't matter what work you are doing, but you know you are doing it because you must be in corporeal work and in this you are performing part of your correction in this world. We need to also look in this world and its entirety, that all the people in this world also because they are under pressure and suffering in relations between them. The general ego is truly playing with them, confusing them. All of this is also spiritual work that they are doing despite the fact it is without their knowledge or awareness, but they are in it. This is how we need to continue, this is how it is desirable to nevertheless continue in our corporeal work. Rabash would say that if you have money and you don't need to work then you can work without money, with no salary, but you still need to work at least part of the day, at least four hours, maybe not eight, but you still need to work.

26. S. (1:26:08) When we get a new gift and our eyes sparkle and it's very important, how important is this feeling to renew this towards the ten even though we are going through different states?

R. At least, it doesn't matter in what form that you reach the morning lesson, but gradually over the course of the lesson you must get out of your slumber, renew your heart and your mind in connection with the friends. You see them on the screens and you hear what they are saying. In this way you incorporate with them and out of the incorporation with their desires and feeling their hearts, what they are yearning for. This is how you renew and refresh every day.

Incorporated with the force of repulsion, rejection and the force of connection and from both these forces in our senses we’ll begin to feel the reality. It is something very...it sounds simple, but to execute it, to implement it, it’s the most difficult and complicated thing.

30. S. (01:34:54) Each friend has different layers to correct so how is it possible that we can synchronize to achieve the final correction?

R. We don't know how to do that because for this we need to, ahead of time, to understand and to feel and to control the system itself of Adam HaRishon. But rather this the Creator does. He brings us private states one to another and to another, and we don't understand these connections. Thus, each and every moment that we are going through we don't understand the connections, between each and every moment between state to state and later on it connects and makes sense. All of this entire system is under the control of the upper light which emerged and this light that is around the system, which is surrounding light, it presses upon the system. It awakens all the layers in the system to connect in all sorts of forms until all of these parts reach the whole connection.

It is not in our hands. Only in higher degrees do we begin to become a bit more familiar in this work, this systematic work in the correction of the system of Adam HaRishon. And then we are called partners of the Creator and already begin to be in work, which is more in an awareness, understanding, to more incorporate in His program. But it is not yet in our vessels which entirely are not yet ready to work out between you, to connect between you. In the connections between you, you begin to understand the forms of connection, the direction of the connections. Slowly it will happen, it is very interesting. The pleasure that we receive from this vessel, which is entirely broken and shattered, begins to work in all kinds of forms in completion. It is written that there is no greater pleasure than the solving of the doubts. All these opposite parts and there's no connection between them, they are so distant from one another, you suddenly see how they complete one another and how from this completion comes wholeness. 31. S. (01:39:09) You spoke about making an infusion for the friends, to the friends. How do we accumulate the light in me so I can turn this to an infusion for the friends?

R. Think about the importance of the action that you need to perform and from this gradually it will become clear to you how to perform it.
