Baal HaSulam. "Study of the Ten Sefirot" (TES). Part 2. Chapter Two. Ari #3 (" Each of the Eser Sefirot of Igulim has all the above features, namely Orot and Kelim  ")

Item 3, Item 8 and Item 9 Reader “There is Ohr Makif, Ohr Pnimi and turn the light external...”(01:22 -  07:33)reads twice

25. R. Let us continue because really everything is clear here, we have spoken about it and learned about it, go ahead.

26. S. (07:45) What does it mean when he says that the thicker discernment in the upper one, what does quality of being more coarse and thick in the upper one?

R. That it is the closest to the lower one.

S. Closest to the lower one, what does that mean?

R. How do we measure one against the other so the lower aspect of the upper one is closest to the upper aspect of the lower one.

S. Why does he say that there is a disparity of form between it and the lowest degree in the upper one?

R. That is the order of the degrees.

S. This is how you measure it?

R. Yes, one against the other, we will learn how they give birth to each other, there is the upper one in the lower one, connection that includes the upper and lower in between them and that is how they are, with equivalence of form between them, the law of equivalence of form.

27. S. (09:08) What does it mean, this division of internal and external light?

R. The light that receives in the vessel by the Masach, screen according to equivalence of form is called inner light, that the qualities of the Kli are similar to the qualities of the light, that the vessel wants to bestow and to the extent that it wants to bestow the light that bestows entirely out of it can enter the vessel and the same part of the vessel that can't, he had to receive in order to bestow remains on the outside and the same part that remains on the outside pressures the Kli, purifying it, influencing it, that the Kli will hurry up to get more of the screen that is not yet in the light, so it speeds it up to get into interaction with the lights, to have intention in order to bestow. Meaning to inquire more intentions from the light, and where do we get this? From the surrounding light that pressures and awakens us, shakes us up and we want this light to enter and to become more internal. This is the exact influence of the surroundings on the Kli and we feel this upon ourselves.

28. S. (10:58) According to what I remember, the ego, there is no division into Toch and Sof, then how can there be surrounding light?

R. The circle itself is the surrounding, we're talking about a vessel that part becomes the straight line with the inner light and part of it becomes that cannot receive inner lights, it remains restricted and in comparison to it, there is the surrounding lights.

S. How between two discernments there is disparity and equivalence of form, how can it be that the upper bestows to the lower if they are separate from one another?

R. It is the same, that’s the only part can be an equivalence of form and the other part isn't.

S. Are they considered then in disparity or equivalence of form?

R. Disparity of form, as it's related to one desire, part of it can be in equivalence of form in the desire to bestow and the other part can’t.

S. So it is the same discernment as the names are not clear.

R. Wait, it will be later, it's not written here yet.

29. S. (12:39) Specifically with the inner light, is the light that receives from the upper one to the upper’s upper one, what is this vessel?

R. The vessel is built from ten Sephirot and the light that enters the vessel enters through the Sephirot of Keter.

30. S. (13:10) It's written that it shines on it from afar and this illumination can purify it, do we need to annul towards the upper one, dissolve in the friends and want this light to influence us, to purify us?

R. That is exactly our intention.

Reader “Item 10 “Because the lights were divided into inner light and surrounding my...”(13:32 - 18:47)

31. S. (19:00) What is the difference between the surrounding light of the fourth discernment and the three discernments on the fourth discernment?

R. The three phases don't influence the fourth phase, they don't influence, they transfer but the surrounding light that pressures, develops and arranges the Kli to want more and more. Our entire impression is that we develop with even corporeality, not just especially in spirituality but through the light that reforms but in corporeality we don't need to be in equivalence of form but in spirituality we do, nevertheless it is only by the surrounding lights.

32. S. (20:06) When we reach the end of correction, all of these surrounding lights will become inner light, is that correct?

R. Yes, correct.

33. S. (20:38) Or the other way around is said by the purity of the vessel, only the coarseness in it can receive the inner light?

R. The greater the Aviut, the greater the ability to receive light.

S. What do you mean?

R. You don't understand, you need to start the whole thing from the beginning?

S. What is the coarseness of the Kli,

R. It is the will to receive that is in the Kli below the screen, in the restriction and returning light that becomes a vessel and to the extent it has more coarseness then the upper light can come from surrounding light to eternal light.

S. Is this work in connection?

R. Working connection is something else.

S. What is it?

R. It is unrelated to this.

34. S. (21:39) In the last paragraph of the last sentence, if we read to clarify it...Each one should also not ask that the fourth discernment has not been received because of the restriction and the screen since we are concerned only with the reflected light that rises from the fourth discernment.

R. So what is the question?

S. So what do you mean you should not ask here, we are looking only at the reflected light that returns from the previous discernment, not the states that came after?

R. No we don't look at it, that the previous three phases, you see my cup here

S. Yes

R. There are the sides and there are the base, so the sides build the vessel but the main thing is where it ends, this is the fourth phase and here are the three previous phases and this is why he says it all depends on the fourth phase, when the Kli ends and it's coarseness is revealed, it's screen, its intention, the returning light all comes from the fourth phase. The three previous phases they only prepare and arrange the state and then comes the fourth that gives the response and to the extent the response is similar to the light and the light fulfills it.  It fills all of the phases because they were all part in building the fourth phase but still the most important part is the fourth one. It is Malchut.

35. S. (26:35) The difference between the three discernments of the Kli and the fourth one, how does this appear in the work?

R. What's important to us is working desire. There are sensations and influences but most important is our desire as the fourth phase, to the extent it is capable and equipped with the restriction not to receive for itself, with the screen, only to bestow through the friends to the Creator and the returning light, that you have to receive only in order to bestow and that all stabilizes in the fourth phase. In accordance to the previous three phases, I can't do anything to bestow upon the Creator but only through the group, they are like the upper nine and I am like the Malchut.

36. S. (24:34) We are talking about receiving only in the first nine Sephirot in the connections with the friends and here he writes that we receive only in the fourth discernment.

R. The most important is the light that is drawn by the fourth phase and where it is revealed is, it is revealed in the previous three phases.

37. S. (25:11) The discernment of Malchut participates and the light enters the upper discernment, in what way does Malchut participate in that?

R. If Malchut will not participate, the light will not enter any phase or any discernment.

S. The reflected light in some shape or form exists so inner-light can enter the first upper discernments?

R. Try to come out of this illustration, of this image, the fourth phase does everything even if the light just enters the root or the first phase it is also the work of the fourth phase. In that also she participates entirely to draw the light, the light wouldn't enter the previous phases if the fourth phase would not attract it.

S. There is a screen, and the screen reflects the light, so how does the fourth phase feel anything?

R. She receives the light even if the light enters the root, the light can't enter any phase if the fourth phase won't accept, receive and respond to it. Be a little more emotional.

Item 30 “Eser Sefirot of Ruach are regarded as ...”(31:57 -  33:16)

38. S. Is there inner light in the vessels before the line goes through them?

R. There is no Inner light in the circle, in the circle there is light, that is it and the light that is in the circle is the light of Nefesh resting, not in motion it doesn't do anything, the line awakens the lights.

S. It was written in item three that the light divided into internal and external, divides in the circles and in the light?

R. Yes, but it isn't active, you can say no but we heard the circles, and the surrounding light, it pressures and purifies the Kli, it awakens the Kli and we feel it, but it is not in relation to the light of the line. The light activates the vessels, is a line, Kav meaning it stabilizes itself to be in equivalence of form with the upper light.
