1. Rav’s Introduction: Yes, as usual as if all of these short articles by Baal HaSulam this article Inheritance Of The Land it is not really an article it comes out of his manuscripts wanted as later on to write a board article, as later on however, for some reason either he didn't want to elaborate because of all kinds of reasons that did not depend on him, but depend on the external world. He had to take into a consideration, where he was living, his neighbors and also out of lack of time, maybe saw that it wasn't going to work, it didn’t come into his hand that maybe there were more important things. However these articles they give us the right outlook on Baal HaSulam’s perspective how he sees reality, how he looks at it how he sees the world from his spiritual height, the way he wants to come down to our corporeal state and explain to us here all of these things and this is what we're studying first and foremost with you. Over the recent time that out of all these conversations that we are having here each morning lesson, I hope that you bit by bit gathering the right perspective, the more correct outlook, the more truthful outlook at the world, at people, at our role at the Creator, at the Creator, history geography everything that is happening that need to bring us to the correct perception of reality. So today there for according to our plan we have reached this short article the inheritance of the land go ahead and ask as much as you want, however think so that the question should be close to the topic

2. R. We are all to begin within a state called exile out from the feeling of the Creator out of the knowledge of the Creator, or the upper world the spiritual world, doesn’t matter how you say it. All in all there are only two states the state of exile and the state of redemption, the state where the Creator is hidden and then we exist in this reality the way it is seems to us, this temporary transient reality, that is changing according to the laws of nature, forces of nature. And the spiritual reality which we can ascend and there already different times, the different definitions are completely different there we already exists above time, above place and movement and those two states, we now have to study them somehow and also to learn how do we shift, transition from this world, from the corporeal reality that is captured in our corporeal senses to us developing spiritual senses, in order to bestow. With these spiritual senses how do we start to perceive the spiritual world, and even though we exist in our body and we live in this world, the spiritual reality we can receive it even at the time that we are here in our corporeal perception of reality until the corporeal perception of reality will shift, will disappear and we will all enter the spiritual reality. So, our question is the following, how do we reach Redemption? Now we are in a state where our ego, our will to receive is holding us only in the perception of this world, and along with that this will to receive according to the Creator's plan, is bringing us all kinds of problems and troubles in order to obligate us to want to ascend out of this world to get out of it, not to stay in it. Because imagine to yourself even if you feel good in this reality, we would simply stay in those little desires, full of all kinds of small temptations, like little children and we wouldn't want anything besides that. So, in order for us to not remain like that rather in for us to develop the Creator awakens all kinds of suffering, problems, troubles that force us to think about a different state and also he gives us direction in the different state by awakening among us egoistic relations, egoistic perceptions, egoistic kinds of development that eventually by themselves bring us to the understanding that we must transcend to a different perception of reality, a different world where reality which is above reason. The entire change in the perception of reality, shifting from one world to the other, depends on man's perception does that person have his own individual perception, then he accepts the world the way that we accept it and then it is impossible to feel any other reality with that personal perception. Or the person starts to connect with others and out of the connection with them when he's drawn to such connection he obligates himself to be connected with others then accordingly he reaches a perception of reality which is through the connection. When he starts to think about how is it good for the group, for the ten or even for the whole of humanity. However he already starts to identify with others outside of himself, then out of identifying with them he starts to feel as though through them he is accepting the perception of reality how the perception of reality should appear in everyone and that is already a perception a spiritual perception of reality because he's rising above his ego called the will to receive or Guf, body to a different perception in a common desire between him and the others which is called Neshamah, soul and this is how he receives a new perception of reality. Therefore, transitioning from the physical perception to a spiritual perception means transitioning from the personal individual perception of the person to a perception where the person starts to feel that when he is in a group perception or general collective perception. Therefore it says here Israel, those who want to discover a true reality will not return to their land, meaning they will not ascend to their true will to receive, land is their true desire until they are all in one bundle. Only by connecting between them they acquire this desire called Israel, a desire that is aimed straight to the Creator or as it says Israel will not be redeemed, meaning, rise or raising themselves from the degree of personal perception, egoistic perception until they are all in one bundle. This is really the same until they build the Kli and this Kli doesn't feel myself, me in each one, but rather us by the feeling of us which is at least two, is the broader it is the Kli and then the person starts to feel a totally different reality comes out of place, time and motion, he loses his individuality and once the egoistic perception disappears from him, he already starts to feel in faith above reason, and with the force of bestowal above the faith above the force of reception he starts to feel the spiritual reality, which is eternal and complete reality and it doesn't depend at all on the individual perception of the person.
3. S. (11:12) Before the Redemption and the collective spiritual sensation, how do we feel the exile, the opposite of that state, how do we feel the need for it?
R. Well there are two things in it we as a result of the shattering of the general soul called Adam that when that system was shattered, a single desire that felt a single upper Force, that we fall into a feeling that we are all broken, each one only feels himself and he feels the others as others. Even that they are actually hindering him or that he wants the profit through them meaning that they have a feeling between them that that's not that they're all connected as one body, but rather that they are actually opposite each other, they hate each other and out of that we feel our life in this world. Out of all of this, we start to feel how much we are under pressures, problems, troubles that each one of us feels threatened by his environment. Therefore we start to think, how can we make our life better. In the broken souls there are two kinds of souls from all of those that remained after the shattering, some souls include or come out of the vessels of HGT of the Partzuf of the general soul of Adam HaRishon and they feel that they are yearning to return to the awareness of Godliness. They have it in questions such as what am I, who am I, who is managing me, what are the stars in the whole universe, what are the forces that are operating in me, in the land and in everyone, what is a person live for, what is the essence of life. Rabash writes about it article and those souls are called Israel, Yashar Kel they are yearning to the Creator. Such souls united around Abraham and he took them out of Babylon and he composed out of them a single group called the people of Israel, even though it is a nation like all of the peoples. This is what it says in the Torah also these people are not common among the different peoples, it's just a different collection of people who lived in Babylon and who came to Abraham with the hope of discovering the essence of life. This is how they advanced throughout history, some of them certainly fell and others also joined them, this is how it is we exist until this very day and today through special kinds of pressures that are forming now over us and over the whole of humanity also, not only over this part called Israel. So, we are coming to a state where pressures, we will have to discover this entire process that we have to go to in order to reach the revelation of the Creator through the created being.
S. So you said that here we have HGT (Chesed, Gevurah, Tiferet).?
R. Those who yearn for the Creator even in the time of the Exile because they had in them greater lights in the soul of Adam HaRishon and they are the Kelim of TNHYM (Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, Malchut) in whom there are great desires they belong below the Chazeh of the Parzuf of Adam HaRishon, and they do not feel a longing for the Creator and for spirituality because their desires are like that they are heavier. In the future those great desires once they will be corrected they will be the highest, but during the time of the Exile, during the time of the awakening, during the correction, it is harder for them they are heavy. They don't feel the yearning, the inclination towards spirituality. So with all of these things it turns out that the part that feels the awakening and belongs to the Kelim of HGT they are long and they are ready to feel an additional Aviut, coarseness and therefore an additional reforming light called the Torah and they reached contact with the Creator. However, they must carry behind them the NHYM, Partzuf of Adam HaRishon and this way all of us connect together and with the upper Force the upper light, we correct ourselves and elevate ourselves and everyone comes as one bundle. However, first of all, this is for those who have an awakening towards the attainment of Godliness which are called Yashar Kel, Israel.
4. S. (17:33) So you just said that we have to build the vessel where I don't feel the self, the I, rather the us, so what's the difference between a vessel that feels the self or the state of we, us?
R. Well that's already in the feeling that we are reaching a connection between us and we feel ourselves on a certain degree, not in our entire desire but at least some of our desires we can depict ourselves as being in a single desire, common desire that already we by this we can feel we can feel inside this common desire, which is above the common desire, we can feel a single force that through the desires that we connect, we obligate Him to also appear as a single force that is filling up those desires. This is how the revelation of the Creator to the created being occurs.
S. My feeling or our feeling??
R. First it has to appear as a personal feeling to a person, who is trying to feel this way, that he is in a single desire with the friends. This is why we build tens and we try to get closer to each other, we have ups and downs where the states are replaced in each time of desire to us and we also have to add our own our own exertion and the fall and the ascent and all of these states become greater and greater.
5. S. (19:50) FIrst thank you for this explanation regarding out part where Israel comes out of that vessel, in that state where we discover these new feeling of humanity, how to develop these senses despite being in corporeality?
R. Only through connection between us, in corporeality when we are connected, as much as we are connected in the ten, as much as we try to cancel the emotional barriers between us, towards the Creator, towards the perception of reality. By that we acquire the new senses and those senses are on the line, the boundary between us and we cancel the boundaries, each one in his own ego, but if we cancel the boundaries, out of the gaps that were between us, the barriers that were between us, the spiritual Kelim are built, corporeality exists in each one but spirituality exists in the connection between us, in the barriers between us.
6. S. (21:30) What does it mean to feel a collective common reality, we still feel everything in me is my own perception, what does it mean to feel what's outside of me?
R. If I grasp reality not through my individual ego but rather instead of my ego, I start to feel the group, that we have here some new desire that includes foreign, different desires and they all of them, can connect into a single desire through the reforming light. It's not that I do it by myself, I'm asking of the Creator to connect me with the others, I by myself cannot do it. So, when I ask the Creator to connect me with others, instead of my own previous desire, I get a new perception and in it I feel a new reality which is called faith above reason. That I start to feel reality in the force of bestowal that comes out of me in Ohr Chozer, reflected light the inclination outwards, and this way I feel a reality that does not exist in our perception which has the three axis and times according to the sun in the moon and all kinds of other things related to our corporeal physical reality, but rather I start to shift to new vessels of perception. You need to feel it and then you will see that it is different.
7. S. (23:43) When we point at the connection of Israel's connection and the condition between the required for the nation of Israel to keep the existing, so there's a connection here between corporate and spirituality what is our approach?
R. Our approach is what we are studying right now what Baal HaSulam writes, that we need to be connected, through the connection we will come out of the Exile, this is what we call coming out of the Exile and not expanding our borders or making some peace treaties with somebody. Rather if we wanted to happen fine it will happen only through or inclination towards connection and in the connection of the hearts we are inviting the Upper light and it connects everyone.
8. S. (24:47) When you transition to the feeling of us in that then you dissolve into the desires of the friends, so what is that edition of the spiritual world that you discover?
R. It's impossible to explain it, but then you will know that it's a new perception, it is indeed true, it is what exists and we exist only in an imaginary perception that's why a world is called that it's called an imaginary world and we depict it with our corporeal senses. This is what we want to feel inside of us when we pull the perception inside of us, it is not a perception that truly it exists, it's in a perception that exists in our imagination. When we rise from the corporeal perception to the spiritual perception we feel we were as dreamers and now we are as in a dream and we need to wake up.
S. There's the sensation of the desire of each one in the ten and when you tie them together there's an addition to that sum?
R. No, it's not there when we connect these things we are gathering our desires into a single desire, it's when we connect each one of us annuls and cancels his desire towards others, this is something entirely different if you connect all of these desires just like that, then you get a gang of criminals or a group of soldiers or I don't know. They have a single strong desire that's not how it is, here it is through the annulment of each one annulling his desire before the others and you'll on all annul and annul and annul before the others and by that you'll build a new place that did not exist before, this is the place where we all annul our desires and are seemingly building a place where your desires not exist there. It is a vacant place and then in that vacant place you can start to discover the Creator, we need to think about it. What is the essence of the desire that the group establishes?
9. S. (27:40) What is the Exile about exactly?
R. The Exile is when I feel that I want to reach being above my individual desires to integrate in everyone's desires which is actually the Creator's desire, that feeling that I'm longing for it, it is called the feeling of the Exile, all of the others all of the other things, that's not Exile. I just want to replace one thing with the other.
S. So for one point in the heart awakens the Exile is him being buried in his own desires instead of being immersed into desires to bestow upon the Creator, can we say that?
R. I would say that if a person does not annul to the group, then he is still not knowing what is Exile in Redemption, he who longs to annul himself before the desire of the group in there to be included there so he does not exist that is considered that he already feels that he is in Exile and he wants the real redemption
S. And when we look at humanity, how is humanity in Exile?
R. They are not in exile, Therefore they are not in Exile they exist in their corporeal desires to receive called the animate level, the degree of the beasts and this is how they live and this is how are they are taking care of themselves, they have nothing beyond that, we want to take care, we want to live in on the animate level, to the level that it gives a substance only and with all of the other means, we wish to reach the degree of speaking meaning the knowledge of Godliness and to exist in that place in that realm, in that same state as to be with him in such relations as I to my beloved and my beloved to me.
S. Yes, but what causes you to start feeling that you're an exile?
R. It's out of the root of the Soul, when we perform all kinds of actions, we awaken the reforming light, the surrounding light and it gradually advances us there as an engine. After the sin of the tree of knowledge, after the shattering of the Soul, this engine this motor is constantly moving everyone, it is considered that it is awakening in everyone in this entire Kli of Adam HaRishon it is awaking new Reshimot that are broken and by this the whole of humanity are advancing. Those who are in the broken vessels of bestowal feel a greater inclination towards the Creator. Those who are in the broken vessels of reception, they feel a greater tendency towards corporeal fulfillments, they develop science, the different sayings and this is how the world advances.
S. So, if we look at the world, this change from unconsciousness to the state of exile, coming to the recognition that there's the separation, how does it happen because it seems that now each one agrees with where he is he fights over his place?
R. Everything depends on the emergence of the Reshimot, we are simply guided by the Reshimot as much as we operate and the more we do it even without clear knowledge about what we're doing, whatever is in your power to do that do, by this we are accelerating the emergence of the Reshimot and this is how we advance. Therefore the worst thing is to sit and not do anything.
S. So the hastening of the coming out of the Reshimot?
R. Actualize the Reshimot and do it without knowledge better to sit and do nothing because by doing that you're actually causing yourself in the whole world there things that we need to learn here and there are things we need to implement and actualize.
10. S. (32:58) We go through many states, you know the friends working so diligently should we work with the future potential state when we gather for any meetings or come and connect with whatever state the Creator gave?
R. We need to learn what it says in the Articles of Baal HaSulam and mostly in what Rabash writes and don't ask me a thousand times about the same thing. Whatever Rabash writes this is what you should do in the society to implement it that's it.
11. S. (33:52) What comes first, the journey for a connection or the request for connection or is it the same?
R. I don't see any differences here.
12. S. (34:21) That new entity formed out of the annulment of the desires of the friends and the entrance of the Creator's power into that place does that remove the friends needs to raise a prayer?
R. The Creator's prayer we raise to the center of the ten, this is called the public prayer to the Creator to our root, in determining for us each and every state and if we want our next state to be towards a greater connection and greater bestowal from us to the Creator, then this is what we are asking for.

13. R. This means this part that feels the necessary for the revelation of the Creator and out of that they learn that this is possible to do only through connection between them. The egoistic desires should concede themselves a little bit and connect to a certain measure together between them. Then in them the Creator will be revealed according to how much they oppose connection and how much they annul themselves towards connection, according to this tension between these two states they create the state in which the Creator can be revealed. The state where that they don't want is called Aviut, this connection above it is called purity and so according to these two states together they create a state where the Creator can be revealed as if between light and darkness. This is how they advance therefore, he says we must understand how Israel's unity pertains to redemption. That according to how much Israel, those who yearn for the revelation of the Creator unite, the Unity of Israel, according to that they discover the presence of the Creator in them called Redemption. The difference between Redemption and Exile and Geulah and Galut in Hebrew is the letter Aleph, symbolizing the Champion of the World this means that the Creator has been added to our perception of reality to the feeling of reality of those people that state is then called Redemption. Meaning there cannot be Redemption without the revelation of the Creator in them, and also the opposite exile means that the Creator does not exist in the created beings, in the created beings
14. S. (39:01) As I speak to people throughout the day, also and dissemination it feels the people feel kind of exile, each one has some sorrow, some lack of content in his life and he can't reach it, can't fill himself, reach his destiny, so wait can we do to help these people?
R. Think about the question according to what it says, ask about that, we're not talking about dissemination, we're talking about the states in and out of themselves.
S. What is the feeling of Exile in the person?
R. The lack of the feeling of the presence of the Creator in the person.
R. The lack of the presence of the Creator, that the person feels that the Creator doesn't exist in his life, he wants to know to feel to have contact with him in his life, this is called the feeling of Exile.
15.S. (40:16) Rabash describes his friends standing inside his heart in his letter so the question is where's the ten, inside of me or outside of me or both?
R. The friends as he writes there that the friends are standing inside of my heart, the person feels that the ten is inside of him in his desire, that he wants to unite with them inside of him, he wants to find a place for all of them so that they will all exist in him.
16. S. (41:06) Is our perception defined by our yearning is perception defined by our yearning?
R. Yes.
S. What does it mean that I annul the limits of perception, does it mean that I rise above the yearning?
R. Yes.

17. R. Abraham asked the Creator how can we reach such a great desire, the land of Israel, the desire for you, for the Creator by what? Then the Creator says don't you worry this Force this desire can only come out of a lack. Therefore. I will awaken a lack in them that they are already outside of spirituality when a person feels that he is outside of spirituality, it is called exile. It's not about a person moving from Israel to Egypt, crossing the desert are going to other places, it's not about the places in the wisdom of Kabbalah and in the Torah it's not the place these are states, it's a spiritual states. Therefore. when Abraham asks how can they acquire a desire were you for the Creator? The Creator says don't you worry I will awaken a deficiency in them, this deficiency that I awaken them in that is called Egypt and they will want to come out of this state, because it will be a very difficult unpleasant state. So, they will want to come out of it they will want to escape it and reach me. That is a person who starts to study the wisdom of Kabbalah and he wants to reach the revelation of the Creator, he actually starts to feel that he is in a bad state, in a state of Exile from spirituality and the more he studies first he feels more and more that he's moving away from spirituality, that's a desire grows however the hope to discover something actually diminishes. So the Creator says don't you worry I'm preparing such a state for them just called exile. Exile from spirituality, exile from me but eventually by the states they will acquire a great desire with Consider that they came out with the great substantial property with a very strong deficiency to attain Me, to connect with Me to discover Me. This is what they, all of them, need to achieve in the exile of Egypt, there are 400 years for it, meaning four degrees for the desire that they have to acquire, that they have to discover and then they are ready for Redemption. Redemption means the letter Aleph in the word Galut, exile, it's a symbol for the Creator's appearance, that in the same desire that was revealed in the Exile in Egypt in that same desire when the Creator is revealed it is already considered Geulah, Redemption and Abraham was satisfied with it as it was clear to him what the Creator was telling him.
18. S. (45:42) Doesn't mean that he's with us in Exile also?
R. The Creator creates all the situations regardless of what state we are in as redemption, exile the Creator crafts all these states for us and he brings us to the purpose. It's written there that he explained to Abraham the process by which will deliver them. First he puts them in a state where they have to reveal their great vessels of reception, where they truly lack the revelation of the Creator and revealing the Creator means the power of the vessels of the power of love, the power of connection. Therefore when they enter Egypt, they enter through the conflict between the sons of Jacob and then they grow in their will to receive it for 400 years in Egypt and when they come to the great big will to receive, then they exit Egypt. Baal HaSulam writes in Egypt they weren't there for 400 years and what parts of the will to receive they didn’t receive in Egypt they will receive in other exiles as there will be four exiles and four redemptions. We get more falls, exile troubles on the path and those added to the will to receive until it becomes so big that the Creator can be revealed in it in full.
19. S. (47:54) How can I understand what the Creator told Abraham?
R. The revelation of the Creator to the Creator being, when a person begins to feel and understand what you now think, what you now feel it's the Creator saying this to you, but from where do you receive this feeling? Feeling from the Upper Light that influences you even if you don’t know or understand it, so there is a connection to the Creator so that upper light which manipulates everything from atoms to plants and animals to people. Yes, so there's a connection. All those creatures don't feel who they are connected to, so it seems to them that they exist as a thing unto itself and its them who manipulate and do everything and there are people who understand how the Creator manipulates everything for them. Cells, atoms, thoughts and desires and there's nothing else besides Him, really is the Creator does everything really. and what the person is left with, is only to feel that it's all done by the Creator. That's the state wherein all our emotions all our state, all my cells everything that I am and everything around me, it's all operated by one single Force.
20. S. (49:41) At every point in time we're revealing the Creator in one way or the other, so by what vessels do we measure Exile and Redemption?
R. There are vessels in our will to receive that is corrected in order to bestow or not, we have nothing but for the will to receive and the Creator has nothing but for the will to bestow. It's only these two forces, various interactions between them. Those are the only things that exist in reality.
S. When you say that there are only two states, is there a sharp definition between exile and redemption, how do we transition from one to the other, are there any states in between?
R. There are many states here, I cannot explain this all to you right now, but you can go read what Baal HaSulam says where he says there are always states ever, where is it exactly in Shamati I'll tell you in a minute..
20A. S. (51:13) When Abraham asked the Creator How will I know that I will inherit it is that the state that will happen when you studied a lot so automatically our will to receive grows?
R. Of course, but Abraham asked because he understood that the Revelation has to come in the great vessels of bestowal, where are those vessels of bestowal there are none. So the Creator says first I'll put you all in the great vessels of reception, which we call pharaoh and you take from him everything he has all those vessels of reception then you come out and emerge from out of his rule from under his rule, from under the will to receive in order to receive and turn these vessels into receiving in order to bestow, that is the process.
21. S. Shamati 50 “Two States”
22. S. (52:40) You said that we have to reach a state of feeling the Creator in all on my cells and all of my bones, there is this whole area of if I'm not for myself in our work, so how do we combine our state of feeling and search all the time in order to reach that state?
R. The person needs to do what he's tasked with doing, if I'm not for myself who is for me and then he reaches the attainment that the Creator is revealed and the person sees that even what he did and if even if there's no one for me who's for me, it was all the Creator doing these things for him manipulating all the situations.
S. Baal HaSulam says the only sin is to disconnect from the Creator, If I'm not working for myself, who is for me, can we combine the two of them all of the time?
R. Yes, of course imagine to yourself I'm going to perform an action and I'm saying I must perform it as if it's me doing it and the Creator does not exist. All as if but I exert all my energy in that action and with that I think of how the Creator will complete it for me and later he will be revealed and then I see that it's all Him doing it and not me doing it, so I'm thinking about how later the Creator will be revealed and he will do it, that pushes me to now do my best because it's as though I want to do it as though the Creator's doing it.
S. But this work happened simultaneously, or you say latter I will discover the Creator. Everything all right now?
R. Don’t separate from the Creator, it is as if He is not in reality it shows me as if how I need to be independent but it is as if I now take the Creator's place and all of his powers. We will try and we will see.
23. S.(55:04) Men's work in the ten it's felt very clear that annulment, where is that work of gathering where should a person gather?
R. Try to do that to annulment is annulment, try to do everything Rabash writes, he writes of this, that you must be below everyone, you must be above everyone to gather everyone, this and that and with each and everyone of you.
24. S. (55:45) If one of the friends says that he already feels the Creator as he described it, is that a mistake on his behalf or should we all only reach a feeling together?
R. There are states where it seems to be a person where it seems he is in the revelation of the Creatorm that he is in the state of Ein Sof, Infinity and he should wait and it will pass, there are such states for each one. We are sometimes in this confusion.
25. S. If we are living reality as if, what is the true reality?
R. When you attain the Creator then you will be able to say what the true reality is.
26. S. (56:57) I heard you say that during the exile the person acquires more desire to emerge out of the desires, so what is special about this desire wanting to come out of my desire, that it eventually brings the person to Redemption, what is this desire?
R. I begin to feel the evil in the will to receive for oneself.
S. But what is special about this desire qualitatively what is it?
R. I discover that thinking about myself as a terrible thing, I begin to gain an appreciation for in order to bestow a new appreciation.
S. This is not considered in order to receive is it not considered in order to receive?
R. No.
S. Is this what it's called in order to bestow I simply do not understand what is this desire what is this beast?
R. The will to bestow is the Creator, for us it is only the intention to bestow.
27. S. (58:16) What is the difference between the feeling of exile and the recognition of evil?
R. The feeling of exile is where you are suffering greatly from the fact that you have the will to receive controlling you, ruling over you and you can't do anything about it, it shows you that it dictates to you all these states that you must go through and things that you must do and that suffering that you feel that's the feeling of the rule of pharaoh and from that state you begin to operate differently.
28. S. (59:04) Please tell me, on what depends the critical mass so that the whole of Israel will discover the first degree of spirituality?
