2. S. (05:32) What is the advantage of criticism?

R. You don't see it in the world? Wherever there is criticism so through criticism there is always this willingness through different forms, social development and there is a profit from it and in countries where this criticism is prohibited or limited they develop less.

S. But the wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us that we have to achieve unity, so can criticism contradict it?

R. We need to give every single one the opportunity to express oneself freely, that a person won't control another person.

3. S. (06:50) Criticism divides, that's for sure, and the answer to it is concessions that we make and we need to focus on how we make concessions in order to connect despite the criticism?

R. Criticism does not lead to separation, it sets the gap between people. It is a scrutiny of the difference between one to the other, and when we check this, when we scrutinize this, we have the opportunity to come closer.

S. Why should it be this way? We aspire to have peace between us?

R. It doesn't have to do anything with peace, it doesn’t have anything to do with peace. Where the criticism is paused or prohibited there is the greatest hatred among people.

S. So we need to attain hatred? Is this what he's saying?

R. No, there's just no benefit when you stop the conflict.

S. What does it mean when he says it's obvious that the basis of physical success is the level of unity of the society and the success of views is division? What does he mean by physical success?

R. Technical, technological, social, in families, in everything, wherever you don't stop conflict, you have the opportunity to learn from it, there you succeed.

S. So without division we can't advance, is that what you are saying?

R. Yes, right, this is a force that comes from nature from the will to receive which is at the foundation of the world and thanks to it we can really reach true discernments.

S. I always thought we need to stay calm and not argue and everything.

R. No, that is all dead.

S. Why is it dead?

R. If it will end and there will be no conflict there will be the opposite, there will be death and people will rot in there will be no advancement.

S. So I have to be happy that I have a mess in life that I constantly have to argue and overcome things?

R. Yes. Americans even have competitions within companies, let's say one part of the company with another part of the company and they do it on purpose because without it there is no advancement.

S. Tell me in our tens do you think we can do this?

S. Yes, but you said there are places where we should stop the criticism and places where we keep it, on what does our ability to keep it depend?

R. To keep this criticism is to advance according to our method. That we are constantly discovering this criticism, revealing it and trying to rise above it.

(14:18) So it says in the article but against it we must be watchful not to bring the wills of people so close that disagreements among the wise and scholarly will be terminated for the love of the body naturally brings with it proximity of views, so the question is are there people who want to unite in one intention, one desire but here it says not bringing together people with close views, so what do we understand from that?

R. We learn from here that we must not stop the criticism that we should be joyful that we have this criticism because when we are drawn to rise above criticism we gain, we profit, we advance towards to goal, The goal of creation is attained with the greatest coarseness, greatest criticism, hatred between us and alongside with that to have the opportunity to rise above it and to connect, to hug each other. Those two ends need to be as one.

8. S. (16:08) I have a question on the same topic. It's written in the same article that everyone must unite in the one heart yet maintain the criticism. How can you maintain love and criticism at the same time?

R. So what? There are many things I don't like above my kids but I love them. I care for them.

S. Yes I love them but I justified them even if they do bad things.

9. S. (16:49) Do we reach love first and then criticism? How not to block criticism and love when they are opposite? How do we connect and what comes first?

R. That parallel my dear there is no contradiction that is how we need to love another, whatever there is in the other one it is against me but still it doesn't cancel my love to them or their love to me.

S. So it is still through the Creator and through the Creator we will reach unity?

R. Yes you are right, without the Creator we won't reach anything. You are right.

R. Baal HaSulam writes about the society that is advancing towards correction not that it is corrected completely but advancing in the degrees of correction.

S. Okay but if the society doesn't have a common goal then it's a collection of egoists who want to pull their own way

R. Then there is a war.

S. Ok, so is it better for everyone? What difference of opinions is there here? The views will tear society apart or should we just sit quietly and anul ourseves?

R. They can't sit quietly because nature will develop them to such an extent that they will influence one another.

S. What is the multiplicity of views in an uncorrected society? How should it be expressed?

R. It needs to be expressed by them understanding their action, their advancement, needs to be towards them and that any diversity of opinions helps them overcome this gap.

S. So it turns out that the first point is developing the understanding that there has to be something general, some connection and long of it the understanding that increasing you strengthen it?

11. S. (20:17) You said that the goal of the creation is to reach connection with the criticism and separation on the highest level?

R. The purpose of creation is for us to connect to one another and in such a way that is called Boreh, come and see, a force of the will to receive that overcomes itself and comes to a will to bestow in all of its parts and by that we can reveal the upper force of nature. R. You need to try and detach from your logic, from your will to receive, from everything possible to be completely objective. Independent. Then you will see how you will start thinking towards the force of bestowal.

R. Yes.

S. But when the mind is stronger and stronger a logic it doesn't let us so easily.

R. It's not intellect, it's the will to receive, it's the egoistic will to receive that is growing and is forcing you to think like it.

S. How can we make that decision to choose unity when criticism is the highest level?

R. By having with it the force of the society, the force of the society. Let's say in front of you there is a billion dollars and something else also they need to do and you can take that money and not do anything and run away and have a good time. R. It depends on the importance of the goal in relation to the individual ego.
