Annulling Before the Upper One - Selected Excerpts from the Sources
Excerpt 11 (00:10) “The matter of Dvekut with the Creator…”
1. R. WSQ. (02:46) One sentence from this Excerpt 11, adhesion with the Creator is the cancelling annulment of his own authority or the opposite to the extent that a person cancels his own authority is adhered to the Creator feels in him and acquires the same qualities and achieves the purpose of Creation in other words it all depends on annulling his own authority. How do we do this every day? How do we cancel? How does each of us cancel one’s own authority in order to be more adhered to the Creator, in what is it expressed? Self-annulment and adhesion with the Creator. In what do I feel, what do I cancel in me and how do I accordingly or correspondingly respond to adhere to the Creator. What changes are in me when I annul myself and become adhered to the Creator. How do I do it every day? Each one tries to convey to the friends his own implementation of what he tries to do. How can we adhere to the Creator? We can only cancel ourselves and also our own annulment then we can't do it, we can only pray to the Creator. How do we do it? The more I annul myself the more I am adhered to the Creator and the closer I am to him. How do we do it? Go ahead and help each other with your tips on how to do it quickly.
2. R. WSQ: (11:04) Why is helping the friends to advance to the Creator, supporting them as much as possible, why is this the most beneficial thing in self annulment? Then in such an action I am most effective to advance to the Creator on my own, the most beneficial way to annul myself is to help the friends and in the help of my friends comes the act that is most beneficial in the nullification of the authority to the Creator. Why?
3. R. (14:36) Besides this, if we help the friends, that in this we cancel ourselves and resemble the Creator even in the action itself that we help them. It is like the mother who is always invested, all her head is completely in her kids to take care of them. She doesn't think about herself. In this work she is also resembling the upper force that He always worries for us and demands of us that we will accept His nature. We don't have an action that is closer to us, more truer to resemble the Creator but rather to take care of the group from each one of us as much as possible. In this we are truly resembling ourselves to the Creator in a whole manner and we reach equivalence of form. And thus, it’s no wonder that later on we reveal the force of the Creator that dwells and fills the group. That it is not just in my action or in my concern my worry, but rather that I truly make myself resemble the Creator because I am doing these actions intentionally to resemble Him. It turns out that we don't have an action to bring us closer to the Creator to resemble and bring us qualities that we can begin to understand Him and feel about Him other than through our care for the 10. Don't reject these tendencies but rather develop and give an example to one another that each one shall help his friend to draw people and participate more and more each one according to how much he is capable, according to his personality as this is our main spiritual work. It is truly in our hands as much as I worry for them, I continue the worry of the Creator for creation as much as I want to help them, I am helping the Creator to correct creation and as much as we connect between us, we get close to the Creator. There are people for whom this is easy and natural to begin thinking this way and there are those for whom it is very hard to get close to such actions and thoughts. It depends on the heaviness of the soul, according to the action, which is the work, meaning as much as we will try to invest in this, each one is privileged and receives payments and rewards.
4. S. (18:54) This investment that you speak about, to invest in that thought when the thought doesn't exist how can I invest in it?
R. You don't invest in thinking, you need to do physical actions in connection with the group as much as possible virtually or physically together, to awaken the friends to connection but gently not to press on them but put together, to awaken the greatness of the goal as if it is a mutual goal of ours together. To scrutinize all of these topics together because with this we build the womb in where you will grow onwards, it is not some work on the side and you keep going. In spirituality we are always in the same direction and nothing disappears, these are all degrees in which we advance.
5. S. (20:17) What is the most correct action to overcome the ego?
R. We don't need to overcome the ego, we simply need to perform actions of connection for awakening in the society, in the group, don't think about the ego. It is preferable not to touch it or talk to it, it is worthwhile to work in connection.
6. Choice to enter or not?
R. You can run at every moment on the spiritual path but it all depends on how much you choose to advance forward and in each and every moment that you see do you have an opportunity to progress and this is how the Creator does it. A person who says I don't feel that the Creator is taking care of me, that is simply out of his lack of sensitivity to it that he needs to pay more attention to the group and to learn from others how they do it. So, he sees there is always an opportunity to progress.
7. S. (22:18) If I help the friends, I am helping the Creator to correct creation, how does that work?
R. Yes because the Creator doesn't correct creation other than the raising of prayer from our part and if there is no raising of prayer from our part then He awakens us so that we will want to change in any case but without any deficiency from below there is no action from above.
