Part 1:

1. Zohar for All. "Introduction of The Book of Zohar". "Who Created These". #9

1. Rav’s Introduction (00:25): The introduction to the book of Zohar is actually the entire essence of the book. It explains to us the structure of the upper system that operates upon us from above, from the Creator, from Ein Sof and in a gradual descent it reaches us and activates us in order to educate us, to raise us and bring us to a state that we will be able to understand, to feel, to reveal the Creator, to come closer to Him and be like Him, ultimately, which is the purpose of our development. Let's relate to this material as the most important material, that is our work in this life, in this world in order to rise from it, from Lo Lishma to the degree of the next world, the degree of the upper world, the degree of Lishma. Meaning from the intention to receive to reach the quality of the intention to bestow: God willing.

Reading item 9 (02:15) “It is written about that, “what shall I testify to you..”

2. R. (07:15) Meaning it is written here that we need to keep, to worry for the connection between the Malchut which including it all the souls and the systems of above Malchut, the systems of ZA, ZAT of Bina and this is all of our concern, all our work that then the light that comes from the ZAT of Bina and enters Malchut and corrects it and fills it as corrected, arranged, connected and so on. It all depends on that same light that comes to us from Bina and if it doesn't come then we in our forces, of our forces, of course we spread, we separate and we reach all sorts of forms of destruction.

3. S. (08:22) What does he mean when he says that in the Zohar that the Zohar was ruined, the temple was ruined, built and ruined?

R. Yes that we cannot build anything. Rather we need first of all to reveal the initial state that we are in and the state to begin with is destruction, it's a wreck and so thus we reach the state of destruction, devastation a very uncomfortable state, very scary and from it, from the state that we learn the goal then we begin to justify both the initial state that we are in and and we put together the connection between us in the correct manner and in this manner we advance to correction.

4. S. (09:42) About what we just read right now it is written there Jerusalem was put together, that was connected together. We are not talking about the western and eastern Jerusalem as we know it. What do they mean?

R. We mean that same system. It is not talking about stones or all sorts of people that are walking around in this world around us. What we mean is that same upper system that it shall connect to the system of Bina, the light of Bina will come through the system of YESHUT, ZAT of Bina to ZON and by this ZON will connect between them and the main thing is that they will connect to the Malchut to ZA and in this the Malchut shall begin to correct herself, to be corrected and to flex herself correctly compared to the upper system above her and thus in this manner will be privileged for the general correction of the whole world.

5. S. (11:19) How do we keep the connection with Malchut all the time?

R. By wanting to be connected between us and from between us to be connected to the upper system, to Bina that is above us. If we connect then we we resemble in this the upper ZON and from above ZON we get forces of bestowal and if we can connect between us already we can receive all the forces from there.

6. S. (12:16) When you read this text it is so moving and then you ask yourself from where, where did they write this and compose it to the system. So he writes about it, how shall I resemble you hear, how do I compare you? Who writes this, what is this?

R. It is in the holy spirit that the author writes. He sees that these things occur in this manner, he takes the pen and begins to write what is occurring, what connection can be expressed between Bina, ZA and Malchut. In Keter and Hochma we have the program and the future state, everything is there but how it needs to come to us and change us, teach us, educate us in order that we shall be suitable for Keter, Hochma and GAR of Bina, the first three, on this he writes and also we who learn the writings of BHS and we understand that this is what he saw and wrote and we need to resemble those same systems that he described to us.

S. The way you describe it, those friends that wrote it, these greatestest of the generation that wrote this, they are writing it from a state that they lived, they truly lived in a period that was not simple that they are describing here. So it all connects as one?

R. Yes.

7. S. (14:34) Earlier you mentioned that the initial state is the revelation of the ruin. What is the success of seeing the revelation of the ruin as a means of advancement?

R. We are in the beginning of creation. The Creator created the world, the system created it in the corrected form; meaning, it wasn't even corrected because it wasn't even corrupted to begin with but within the system there were also forces of corruption and correction of the world and these forces were balanced. Later on in order to educate the created beings, His sons.

He needed to to break the connection between them so there won't be a system, that it shall be broken and that's what he did. From within this we exist; meaning, we exist as broken parts that feel themselves in all sorts of manners, all sorts of forms that are unpleasant, dangerous and the Creator passes us through all sorts of states to show us just how much we are in a state that is not worthwhile to be in and remain and that's how He teaches us and brings us to a desire to correct ourselves.

This desire to correct ourselves is first of all revealed in us as an egoistic desire and that we want to be in a better state and from this we learn our connection with the forces that activate us, we begin to understand that these forces they operate not for their own benefit but for our benefit like a mother and father towards a small child and from this we learn that it is worthwhile for us to learn from these forces of Aba and Ima, mother and father, that these are Hochma and Bina that they operate on ZON, on the kids and that's how we advance and we begin to reach states that we don't want to work only for our own benefit that we shall feel good for ZON, for the children. rather that we want to do it by doing good to Aba and Ima, to mother and father, to our parents, to our uppers and that's a we advance for the benefit of mother and father and this is already called Lishma, for her sake.

That it's not for ourselves that we want it rather for their benefits, to such an extent that our state, ourselves, is entirely, entirely, entirely not important to us anymore but the main thing for us is how Hochma and Bina, mother and father, will feel from all our states. Here we begin to learn the system just how much it is built in such a manner that it wants and gives us and is capable of giving us all sorts of such states by which we can present our attitude that is truly more and more corrected.

Meaning more and more on the intention to bestow to mother and father and in this we advance in this manner. In this work that we transition from worry about ourselves to the worry of the uppers of the mother and the father it is called the work of transition from Lo Lishma, not for her sake to Lisham, for her sake, for their benefit and that's actually our work. Just how much we are incorporated in this, in this work we begin more and more to understand who are Aba and Ima, mother and father, how we can join them because it is still Hochma and Bina, the two main forces that are in nature and activate all of nature and that's how we advance, grow. That's it.

So that's what he started to explain to us here and also onwards and all the writings of the Zohar He will bring to us all in all how we are incorporated in the upper ones with all of our forces of the lower ones and and we will raise all of creation up to our upper roots of Aba and Ima, mother and father, of GAR of Atzilut and in this we correct all of creation and all the created beings are incorporated in the Creator which is actually the end of correction. Along with this we will see how it occurs in the reality itself, in nature with us in the entire world that surrounds us, that all of this is one system and this is how the system behaves.

8. S. (22:30) We are talking about learning this whole system out of connection and our friends with which we connect are that point from which we need to learn the Zohar. How from that point do we feel the spiritual states that we are talking about: Keter, Hochma, AVI?

R. I think this we need to reveal gradually, it will be revealed not according to the forms and states as you describe to yourself how you think it should be but it will reveal itself in all sorts of events that are seemingly not connected to each other and then we'll connect one to another and will build a new the ability to understand, to grasp, to feel them.

9. S. (23:40) You are talking about bringing contentment to AVI as if I am materializing it just like you are talking about something tangible and not absolute laws. Is that my mistake or is that just what you are trying to project to us?

R. It truly is not talking about your own mother and father. It is talking about the systems of AVI, mother and father, it will slowly, gradually become clear but of course it is not talking about the corporeal world and what happens here.

S. Do we need to feel the feeling seemingly of the upper Partzuf?

R. Yes.

10. S. (24:31) It is written that the ruin of the temple was done because Israel sinned in idol worship and the question is how can we in the ten avoid that state of idol worship and what is it all together?

R. Idol worshiping is bowing to the egoistic forces, that we do something for ourselves and not for the sake of the Creator. That is called Idol worshiping that is all. In general we need to see these things in this manner, then we won't be mistaken.

S. Meaning in a ten we have to move for the sake of the friends for the sake of connection between us in order for us to be able to acquire the correct intention. The question is like this: how to aim the vector from myself to them?

R. I am not sure how you are aiming with vectors. All I can tell you is think about friends instead of yourself.

11. S. (26:04) How can you rise on the demand of our egos to care for AVI, our spiritual father and mother?

R. It comes gradually by the light that reforms. It is not that we by pressing some button or turning some switch, make this change. Instead of thinking about ourselves we think about AVI, about our father and mother, that we don't feel them. We need some illumination from above that will influence us and accordingly I will relate to it, to this illumination, to this system of AVI and that will come, it will come.

12. S. (27:13) It says in the article, ‘I swear to you that I will not enter above, until your armies enter within you below.’ What does it mean?

R. That until the lower ones, us, won't build the correct system of connection between us, the upper system of Hochma and Bina that manages us and influences us, it also won't be revealed.

13. S. (28:00) By you telling us to work for the sake of AVI, do you mean that we need to offer every moment of our lives to devote it for them, that we are not looking for ourselves but for them?

R. Yes, we live for the upper systems, to them for the whole of humanity, the whole of Malchut.

14. S. (28:43) What characterizes the correct intention during the reading of the Zohar?

R. That I am adhered to bestowal.

15. S. (29:02) We are talking about the system of AVI and the question is: the Creator, how do I turn to the Creator, to the system? Where here is the Creator and where here is AVI?

R. You always turn to the upper force, that there is None Else Besides Him. That's it; that there is None Else Besides Him: you turn only to Him.

S. The same systems are the forces that He is operating upon us to manage us?

R. Yes, yes.

16. S. (29:48) How do we know that the illumination that you talked about has come and how do we identify how to work with it?

R. When it will come you will understand. There is nothing more to explain here before you feel.

17. S. (30:42) Who does the Zohar speak to: to me?

R. Of course for each and every person.

18. S. (30:59) How will we be able to overcome the demand of our ego to care for AVI, our parents?

R. By the prayer.

19. S. (31:10) What does good to the Creator?

R. That we connect and turn to him.

20. S. (31:18) How is the study in the book of Zohar and especially about the revelation of the ruin, how can it help us raise the importance of the dissemination of the wisdom Kabbalah?

R. It corrects the destruction and raises us above it.

21. S. (31:35) When we are talking about the transition from the desire to receive for myself and the desire to bestow or from the matter to spirit, it seems like there is a disconnect where you are moving from one pole to the next. What bridges between the two because it feels like there is some kind of disconnect here?

R. I don't understand what you are talking about. In matter, in spirit I don't understand where you're taking this from.

S. I said from the desire to receive for myself from the desire to bestow, it seems like we move from one state to a contradicted state and completely, it feels like there is a disconnect, it feels like there is something that needs to bridge between these two poles.

R. The upper one makes this connection. Don’t think about things that you are still not there, unless it seems to you that it cannot be.

22. S. (32:46) In order to be suitable for the upper forces must we also correct the still, vegetative and animate areas?

R. They are corrected of themselves, if we make the correction on the degree of speaking.

23. S. (33:25) What is the balance between Hochma and Bina? Is there a balance that happens on its own?

R. Hochma and Bina need to be as the two parallel forces, that's it and when they connect between them then they reach wholeness. Who will collect them correctly: ZA, which is the middle line, which connects between Hochma and Bina and we will learn that more in the future.

24. S. (34:17) From the description of the system that we talked about, it turns out this whole system eventually depends on the weakest link, on the lower ones to raise MAN and then actually everything else starts to happen. We talked a lot about the cascading from above down and also we are in these states and these things are awakening and doing actions and I don't know.

R. This you need to check on yourself, check that on yourself. How these lower ones begin to pray, to be excited, to be impressed and to make some corrections, connection, motion towards one another, motion towards the upper one, that's how it is.

S. Is the book of Zohar called the upper radiance? Is it the main instrument for the lower ones to awaken and receive this illumination? Meaning is it this key?

R. Yes, it's called that if we want to learn what is in the book, I want to format in ourselves, realize it in ourselves and that is how the book of Zohar works.

S. Does the book of Zohar have the possibility of working also on those that just like that, read it, without all the preparations that we have done here?

R. Yes, even just like that. Each one as much as he's capable of being connected to the Book of Zohar, in any case he comes under its influence.

S. Is that why Baal HaSulam says that, ‘Thanks to Israel, we will come out of Egypt?’

R. Yes.

25. S. (36:22) The effort of Malchut to resemble ZA, what parts does that include? What does she do?

R. Malchut is the will to receive, ZA is the will to bestow and Malchut can gradually annul herself towards ZA, influence her light of Hassidim and by this she will correct herself and be able to adhere to him only.

S. The forces to implement that she receives from ZA or does it rise all the way up?

R. No, it's of course from above, from the highest place but through ZA always.

S. What is the difference in Malchut prior to the raising of MAN and after that?

R. In Malchut before she raises MAN there is nothing. When the upper one awakens her, she begins to search how she can be adhered to the upper one and then she begins to raise deficiencies towards it. She wants to feel the upper one, to be closer to him, to adhere to him and that is called MAN and as a result of this she receives an illumination from above and this illumination brings them closer and in this manner ZA and Malchut connect more and more. There are all sorts of forms there, programs, we will speak more about them later. There are also descents and breakings and ascents, that's how we learn the system.

S. The Malchut when she tries to do this action, then what she does and tries to bestow and after she receives the forces. What is the difference in the Malchut herself? What changes in her?

R. There is the effort that she's trying to do, yes. She wants to bestow and there she already starts receiving forces for something. When Malchut can be connected, even to the smallest degree, then she can accordingly rise and participate with ZA on a higher degree; on the degree of the soul.

S. That's it?

R. No, no. There is the whole process of Yenika, Ibur and Mochin. We will learn all that, it is all there.

26. S. (39:23) The Creator is here to educate us. What is this action of the education of the Creator? How is it expressed?

R. By him putting us through all the states, all the degrees and we move from one state to the next and we do learn and we do understand, we don't understand these states that we are learning those are the changes of states that we are learning they teach us who we are, where we are, under what influence we are, and this is how we learn, this is our school; this is where we get our schooling. We will learn this, there is a lot written about this, especially about this; a lot is written. That's it.

Reading on. (40:40) “It was said, “to what shall I compare you..”

27. S. (43:40) How should we read the Zohar as a ten. How can we get inside it as a ten?

R. Simply read it together and each of course, from one's heart feels differently. Try to connect all those feelings together, seemingly as if that is enough for you to come closer to the truth. By you wanting to come closer to one another in the reading of the Zohar, you bring yourself closer spiritually and then the light in you becomes more powerful and from everything that we have, which is not just one little light that’s it's own but as ten lights in the ten, let’s say, so then you already have a different force and this force will open for you the whole state that you are in; the entire spiritual state.

According to what I see here before me on the screen, of all the groups, then really I can only say that there is no group that cannot start to feel these things in practice. Where they connect and the light connects and it is greater, more concentrated, more powerful and then when you start to understand what the book talks about, this happens, it is truly so.

28. S. (45:45) It is said that they connect and that the light connects. How in the connection between the friends can we connect the different lights?

R. This will happen on its own, you don't have to worry about that as long as we yearn for connection and this connection we will all be as one. To the extent in which we can depict this to ourselves and how it exactly happens we will know later on, it won't happen so but we will feel the result beforehand.

29. S. (26:33) In other words if the children of Israel will be corrected, what MAN needs to be raised in order to correct this?

R. Israel are called any person in the world who is aimed to the Creator. Ysrael, direct to the Creator, yes that's it. The moment we start with the means of some efforts of ours, to begin, to start, to want to be aimed together to the Creator, meaning be somewhat like Him, then He starts to show us that He accordingly also turns to us and we begin to be in a state of, “I for my beloved and my beloved for me,” I for Him and Him for me. And here the connection between us begins. Just like in our world an embrace, a kiss, such that these actions we need to depict to ourselves that we are participating in.

30. S. (48:18) At the end of excerpt 9, verse 9 it says that if Israel will repent and correct its actions and raise MAN. Repenting I can understand but what is for us to correct our actions?

R. To correct our deeds means to leave our egoism and think about everyone, to leave our egoism and think about everyone, about the whole world: that is the mission, the task of Israel. Meaning for those who have some desire for the Creator; Yashar- El, straight to the Creator, direct to the Creator. They have to try and collect, assemble together and yearn together for the Creator and then they will receive from the Creator, in response, such influence that will assist them to turn to the whole world already and the world will feel that the upper light is coming and that we need to unite. This is actually the plan of creation.

31. S. (49:58) Sometimes I find that I come in the middle of the lesson, that I miss the explanation in the beginning. How can I complete what I missed, does this harm my work?

R. It harms your work and it also harms the whole group but if there is no choice and there is nothing you can do about it, then you need later, if possible, to make it up on your own.

32. S. (50:37) You said together to the Creator. As a result of this that we read the Zohar together, as a result the world will feel a demand for the Creator together or do we still need to come and explain it to them a number of times that the purpose of creation is together to the Creator?

R. The world will feel but we will more than likely have to go out to the world in a more clear way. Although, it seems like it is probably enough for us to learn and from that there will be a projection to the world and the world will feel that it's necessary to connect.

33. S. (51:33) “And I've made you as governance for the world.” is that Bnei Baruch will be as a tube for everyone?

R. Yes, correct.

34. S. (52:05) It's hard to accept the idea that actually the reading of the Zohar, even without the understanding, draws the great force of connection. Is it something that we can check and say that it is true?

R. Yes, there are many forces in the world that we don't understand but we gradually come to see how they work, we gradually come closer to them.

Continue Reading from 10. (53:00) “From the edge of heaven, MI is the edge of heaven..”

35. R. (59:02) This is how he is telling us about the Rosh, the head of the whole process, it will be talked about more later on. Due to the lack of questions, I see that it is not clear, it is clear that it is not understood because here he is talking in a very short way and later he will expand on this. How the Rosh of the world of Atzilut, which is Atik, AA, AVI and how they bestow through YESHUT upon the Guf of Atzilut and the Guf of Atzilut is already bestowing upon the lower worlds BYA, where we are.

36. S. (01:00:07) What does it mean to read the Zohar together? Are you talking about a physical unity between the friends or finding the friends in the text and establishing the connection there?

R. You asked it nicely, it is both. We need to try and be as physically close to one another as possible. Meaning to connect us as we are connected now by some system of connection between us and also to try to get to know one another, to meet in all kinds of opportunities and by that, we are advancing and from this advancement we are incorporated and then we will learn what the technique of incorporation is and why all together we are built in such a way that we are the parts in which each of us is on his own and later we need to connect within one another. Later, we will see why nature divided us in such a way, this will all come.

37. S. (01:02:43) What is the role of Yeshut towards Nukva?

R. Yeshut is ZAT of Bina, the lower seven of Bina through which all the light that wants to give Keter, Hochma, Bina to the lower ones to Malchut all that light moves through Yeshut.

38. S. (01:03:14) Why is it important to give contentment to Abba and Ima, mother and father? Where do we get such importance?

R. Abba and Ima are two upper systems that care for us, attend to us, and therefore we need to think how we operate upon them in return and try to raise to them such responses on our behalf as they delight Abba and Ima and that is how we advance. We for them and them for us.

39. S. (01:04:08) From reading the Zohar from the influence of the light does the echo grow?

R. Yes, of course the ego grows more and we grow together with our ego as it is written anyone who is greater than his friend his inclination is greater than him.

40. S. (01:04:32) How does the Creator teach us what we shouldn’t do?

R. How does the Creator teach us what not to do or what to do? This is through all of our actions, through all of our actions.

S. How is he teaching us what not to do, what’s not correct?

R. Also in the same way.

41. S. (01:05:06) Can we say that when we connect as one man in one heart that we influence the forces of the upper world and they influence us positively and also all of humanity?

R. Yes, of course because the system is as one.

42. S. (01:05:29) In what unique period are we in? There’s a world Kli, in the world, that are worthy to read the book of Zohar and how does it influence the world?

R. We are in a very special time in which we can already learn in a disclosed manner publicly The Book of Zohar and this is what we are doing and all the languages that are possible to teach and for each and every person upon earth that we can reach and our study needs to be as broad as possible, and through this we bring the whole world to correction. Let's hope we will get there and see more results from our efforts.

43. S. (01:06:41) What does it mean that the Nukva receives?

R She goes to the general Malchut and us going from the upper system it receives it as from the upper system and bestows upon the whole world for the good.

44. S. (01:07:23) In the attitude to the child, the attitude of a parent to the child is something very unique. How should a child return this attitude without just absorbing but also giving?

R. Towards his lower ones. Where if he receives something from Abba and Ima he needs to give it below in the example of Abba and Ima towards him.

45. S. (01:08:05) The active that activate this system in the minimum manner that is from above below truly passes through everything? Are we dependent on some system?

R. We are not limited in any possible way but the upper system gives us what is necessary for us.

S. I wanted to ask, is that in any case there is a desire to come out from under some dependence of some system in which we are under its influence for a certain time where we still have no free motion. From what point do we have free choice?

R. The freedom starts where you completely agree with the upper system and do not feel limited by it at all.

S. Along with this we are building these degrees?

R. In a greater degree of freedom.

46. S. (01:09:36) You said that the intention while reading the Zohar is that we need to try to connect with the Creator. You also said that we have to connect withAbba and Ima. So the Creator, these degrees Abba and Ima are they the same thing or is there some revelation of the Creator in different forms?

R. Abba and Ima is a system with which the upper light spreads to us. Abba is Hochma, Ima is Bina and the light of Hochma and Bina move to us and establish us.

S. The Creator?

R. What the Creator?

S. Where is the Creator in this picture? Is it the source of this light?

R. Of course.

S. When we read about Abba and Ima do we want to connect with this degree or with the source?

R. To the source.

47. S. (01:10:46) When we are reading the Zohar we feel that there is a process here that there is a time to enter the text with the correct approach, correct intention. Is it correct to make less use of workshops to do more time for reading or should we be doing workshops separately.

R. The best thing to do in a workshop is to connect with the friends and what’s written you can complete later.

48. S. (01:11:43) Why is Nukva not satisfied with what she gets from VAK? What more does she need?

R. She needs to be like Keter to receive all the light that emerges from Keter and that is her goal.

49. S. (01:11:53) It’s hard to accept this idea that just reading the Zohar draws intense the light of correction even if we do not understand, that’s correct?

R. Correct, correct. The reading of the Zohar the whole light of Ein Sof.

50. S. (01:12:13) What is the meaning of the intestine of Arich Anpin? What does that mean spiritually?

R. Shines to Arich Anpin? Arich Anpin is like the Keter.

S. The intestine of Arich Anpin.

R. The intestine of Arich Anpin, that’s something we will learn. Soon we’ll learn that.

51. S. (01:12:38) Is raising MAN from studying and connecting or can we raise MAN also in dissemination?

R. It’s possible. To the extent in which you connect people you have more raising of MAN.

S. Is raising of MAN something that I have to demand for myself or others?

R. You cannot demand from the others but you can give them an example.

52. S. (01:13:25) At the moment I have some connection with the ten, and on this connection, the forms here written in the Zohar, they operate on that?

R. Yes, we are always under that system, the question is only if we are awakening it, evoking it, or are we in it passively.

S. What do we need to do in order to awaken it, in order for the system to be felt in the connection that we already have?

R. Try to make for ourselves all kinds of actions which will awaken the system, just like he writes, don't think that you are distancing, God forbid, but rather awaken more, the system.

S. Awaken in what, how does the reading help us to awaken?

R. When you read about the system and you want to feel it more, to learn it more, to shake it more upon yourself, that is how it works.

S. And what does it mean to want more for the system?

R. To draw it, to bring it closer, or that you come closer to it.

S. Try to see how what is being described here occurs between us?

R. Yes.

S. And if we’re mistaken or imagine things?

R. That doesn't matter, who doesn’t make mistakes, look at a baby, what does he do right?

53. S. (01:15:20) I feel that I was not able to ask about it properly before, in our work in the ten, there are two parts that I'm not able to connect for awhile, sometimes we work on the connection between us, on influencing one another, that is one thing, and we also heard today that we need to want to bestow upon the Creator, that it’s this or that, these actions, should they be as one, when the Malchut wants to adhere to the Zeir Anpin, or are they two separate actions?

R. It is preferred for them to be together.

S. So the effort is to both hold onto the connection between us and the intention to bestow upon the upper one?

R. Yes.

S. This needs to come one in the other?

R. One together with the other.

54. S. (01:16:24) The study of the Zohar, it sharpens the gaps, the differences in the ten, it is clear that it is internal, that it is an inner point of view, but how we can work with that light of the Zohar to bring us closer to one another?

R. I did not understand once again, just the question.

S. During the study of the Zohar, there is a feeling that it shines on the gaps, on the differences in the ten, how can we bridge this Gap by the light?

R. I didn't understand the question.

Reader: How can we use the light of the Zohar to bring us closer?

R. By wanting, all of us, to be included in it. We cannot be integrated on our level, only if we rise to the source of the light, so to the extent that influences us, and brings us closer to it, to that extent we come closer and we get incorporated in it.

Reader: The light emphasizes these gaps, tso how can we use this light to come closer to Him, in spite of the gaps that it shines between us.

R. Specifically as we much as we feel the gaps between us, when we incorporate in it and will connect us and we will feel the gap between the two, between the separation and the connection, we will feel the power of the upper one, this will be the revelation of the upper one, this will be the vessel in which the upper one is revealed.

55. S. (01:18:48) If you can give us direction regarding studying the Zohar in the ten, every evening between 8 and 9, we have 1 hour of study, how do you recommend to take what we study today, or to prepare for what we will be studying the day after and then to get the answers?

R. They are doing very good effort, although I did not speak about it, so I think they should continue the way they started, and we will see the results, we will see the results.

56. S. (01:19:51) What preparation is required for us in order to be ready and ripe towards reading the Zohar?

R. Look, the Zohar by itself is preparing us for it. It explains to us each time, where does it come from, what is the system, how we can be incorporated in it and so on and so forth. I do not know what other preparation you should have for the introduction of the book of Zohar that we are learning, I think the material of the introduction itself is so special that there is nothing much else to say, the entire system, from the Creator to us which by the way, is the same system that is mentioned in the study of the Ten Sefirot and the Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah, the Tree of Life, many Kabbalists used to describe it, those degrees of diminution of the light from the Creator all the way to us, that is what we have to learn, and to learn how to correctly use it, that is it.

S. That is felt, how the intro to the book of Zohar how it purifies the heart, but I’m asking specifically about the preparation, those 10-15 minutes that we get together before reading the Zohar, what preparation do we need to do that will take us deeper into the book, into the light?

R. I will think about it and get back to you.
