Crown the King over Us - Selected Excerpts from the sources

1. Rav’s Introduction:

1. Rav’s Introduction: I wanted to say that to crown the king over us, meaning to make the Creator who is hidden, the only force, the one unique force that rules over the whole of reality, this is what we have to do. In the beginning of our spiritual path and what we call Rosh Hashanah the beginning of the change, the innovation, that this is what we have to do until all of our work is through our connection to hold each other, to support each other so that each and every one we'll have the strength and we'll have the drive and we'll have the necessity and the goal that all the friends are holding it and establishing it and preparing it for the same goal. That the Creator is one unique and unifying and there's none else besides him and we are only aiming towards him.

Therefore, let us read how do we do it, this is actually our work each and every moment of our life and according to that every moment in our life as much as we do it, we also disconnect from it, from that same goal, in order to renew again and again renew our direction and our destiny. The Creator must always be as it is written, I have seen the Lord before me always, that the Creator should always be before me, and I should feel him, that I should be yearning towards him and aimed towards him and I'm drawn towards him.

Reading Crown the king over us: excerpt #1 (02:12) “it is known that the whole earth is full..” twice

2. S. (07:15) How in the keeping of the Torah and Commandments are we keeping his kingship over us?

R. We try all the time to aim ourselves towards a single force that's operating in all of reality, that we are inside of him and inside of this force that there is none else besides Him and then he fills all the feels all the world and encompasses all the worlds. Then if so, we are aimed towards him and we exist under his rule, also according to our choice our efforts, and then it turns out that as much as we tried to enter under his influence he can work on us. He can work on us of course any way he wants but there is the restriction that he made that he operates on us only according to willingness to be under his influence.

Therefore as much as we connect between us in order to bring ourselves to the Creator’s control, to be under his force, in such a way to such an extent and in such a manner we receive his influence and we change according to him. We become more similar to him because he is bestowing to us and by that we become more similar to him and this is how we get closer to him. We make ourselves similar to him and this is all of our work, this is all that we have to do in this world, what does it mean in this world, to the extent that we change we begin to feel ourselves.

That we already exist in a new system of new forces, that there are forces of bestowal and forces of reception and we can work with them and this is how we already begin, in a more directed manner, to get closer to the Creator and to enter a partnership with him. I to my beloved and my beloved to me, this is how it is called that we operate towards the Creator and he operates towards us, sometimes he runs away from us in order for us to be drawn after him and sometimes he gets closer to us, and in this way he teaches us. This is all of our work to learn from him how to behave correctly with the forces, the spiritual system, the system of forces of bestowal and love instead of the forces of hatred and rejection, as we are now.

3. S. (10:38) Why is to believe a part of a person's free choice?

R. To believe means to be in the forces of Bina, the forces of bestowal and certainly this is what we need because this is the quality of the Creator. The quality of the Creator is bestowal and that is the quality of Bina.

4. S. (11:20) What is this commandment of choice?

R. The Creator created the will to receive and we need in spite of our ego and in spite of the will to receive within us to choose the will to bestow. To place one above the other and this is our choice, choosing in that we form all kinds of actions in order to rise above the will to receive and to be a bit closer to the will to bestow, actions in order to choose the proximity of the Creator which is revealed also in that we get closer to each other in practice. Where can I feel the qualities of bestowal in the qualities of love in the qualities of the Creator, only in how much I operate myself towards the friend and the friends show me that they can also answer me in the same inclination.

If I look at how the friends relate to me I can always find in their relation, a good relation, and here I see that the Creator is operating through them in order to get closer to me, in order to teach me somehow. In that way I begin to love him more, to love them more, to get closer to them more and I enter more and more into the field of forces of bestowal and love and connection, the forces of the Creator. I feel in these states, I feel in these states that I am incorporated with two forces, the force of rejection and the force of attraction, the force of hatred and the force of love. Then with these two forces I arrange my reality so there cannot be good without bad towards me because I am the created being and this is how I need to arrange my perception of reality.

This is the correct perception throughout our entire path, corporeal and spiritually and whatever it is, this is how we need to get closer and detect the upper force and when we connect to him then there are two forces here, the system of reception and the system of bestowal and the system of hatred and the system of love, rejection and attraction from these two systems so we compose our attitude towards the Creator. By that we make ourselves greater also and we begin to detect the good force upon the bad force, when we make of ourselves and amplifier and according to the disconnections in us, according to the distance between us, we can invert that to nearing, to an amplification.

Anyone who knows how amplification systems works, they always work in this way, even in our world it's always upon the resistance, this is how what we called 620 times more, that a person of any relation of the person to the system becomes a system of bestowal and connection and because it's an egoistic system than overcoming it means rising above it, first of all, with our forces this is called to bestow in order to bestow. Later even to use these forces of resistance in order to bestow. This will already be receive an order to bestow and that we build our attitude to the Creator and the entire system and this is how we begin to discover the system, discover him who is operating in the system, to discover his goals, why did he do it in this way and out of this, love is born in us and develops in us towards him. Because of what he did for us.

5. S. (17:07) Can you explain what the line means, the Lord will be one and his name one?

R. We need to reach a state where we all connect, none of us has any upper image of his own, but rather there's only one force, there is none else besides Him and he rules over us and he is revealed towards us and we crown him. Meaning we reach a state where we do get to know that there's only one force in nature, one unique and unifying and there's none else besides Him, and he is good and doing good towards everyone. This is what we discover and then from this revelation we also begin to see ourselves that we belong to that same force and we all belong to that same source and he is one for everyone and out of that we have connection between us and love and peace and this is how we reach wholeness.

6. S. (18:35) We are in the system of duality of good and bad and after today we're always differentiating good and bad and sweet and bitter. How to go onto truth and false in the ten?

R. Indeed this is only done through the ten, that everything that you want to speak with the Creator you have to pass it through the ten and through the ten to also try to receive from him, even though in the beginning you don't know how to do it, but if you will try and try more and more, it's like with what you call a broken telephone, a broken dialogue.

If you try and you ask and you make an effort, then you will start to understand how the Creator through the ten is talking to you and how you through the ten turn to him. That when we turn to the Creator on our own we see that it doesn't quite work but try to do it to the ten and you will see that actually the friends begin to be those components of the ten and the components of the connection between you and the Creator. This is how you will establish a connection with him and this is how each one through the others connects with the Creator and all in all we later reach having a connection between us and the Creator is one for all of us and this is how we advance.

7. S. (20:35) I heard that you said that we will receive only good attitude from the friends, only good relations from the friends, can you explain where the inversion occurs in our sensation?

R. To the extent that you surrender towards the friend as Rabash writes that you are a zero towards them, they are all ones and then to that extent you begin to feel that the friends only want to bestow all good to you. They do not change, you might say but rather I change, and by that I see that they are all connected between them, connected with me and they only want the goodness for me and nothing changes. I don't expect that the friends will change, I expect that I will change, will be able to discover in them only good and as much as they seem to me the opposite of good, I begin to see that this is incorrect.

This is how it is with respect with all the people of the world, we don't need to turn the world and to correct the world, we need to turn ourselves and then we bring ourselves to a state where we all become loved ones and close, friends to each other.

S. In the ten we're always trying to exercise connections to reach good relations above everything but in practice what's revealed is all these small shattering between us?

R. It's good that if it's revealed it's not that it won't be revealed and you won't advance to the purpose of creation you'll see how much your shattering will so we'll be even greater, that the gaps between the created being revealed a little bit and you feel love and connection and then that he has concealed and then you feel distancing and you want to kill each other like the students of the Rabbi Shimon, those states will be more extreme.

S. So in what actually in the system of the Creator, dressing and clothing the ten, is it in the good relations between us but also?

R. Both, you can't just distinguish good states but rather the Lord has created one opposite the other, we discover the good upon the bad and it's impossible in any other way, and the great bad is revealed at the end of correction and it is ruled by the great good.

8. S. (24:04) When we crown the king over us in the first stage, there is this doubt operating correctly or not how do you pass the stage and sensation of confidence that in another moment it's going to occur?

R. That we trust and we believe what the kabbalists wrote that we are in adhesion with the friends and we only want to do good to them through such dispositions we begin to feel confidence.

9. S. (24:43) In the first part of the article is said here that the person works in faith that the Earth is full of him and then later on it says that when a person makes a choice and the Creator reveals himself to man. Then a person begins to work in the system in a manner that the Creator is revealed but what's the difference in the two types of work, when the Creator is concealed and when he is revealed towards the person?

R. One is concealment and one is revelation, these two states that we go through, they build in is, one on top of the other, the ability to feel the Creator because all in all we only have those sensations, our mind is only intended to give us a few discernments regarding our sensations but the most important is a sensation.

S. If I'm not mistaken, beforehand we were given a warning during the study that the main part of our work is the faith above reason and here Rabash writes that the Creator reveals himself to man, so what is the work when the Creator is already revealed to man?

R. The Creator is revealed to the person in the faith that a person develops on his own, when a person walks with his eyes shut, that he doesn't want to see and he doesn't want anything and he wants to belong to the Creator and in this feeling of belonging to the Creator that he discovers the Creator. This is how it is in spirituality.

10. S. (27:14) Can we turn to resembling the Creator as partners, does he still stay to the upper or the king or do we become equal?

R. No, you are adhered to him, you depend on him, you belong to him and this feeling that he's the upper one is actually revealed more and more, it is revealed more and more.

S. What exactly is this action of making him the king?

R. Crowning means that we want to discover in all of our thoughts and emotions, this is called in mind and heart, that he rules and he is the first and we only discover, that whatever we have in our mind and heart, meaning in all of our essence that only he fills it.

S. And this is an action that we need to do in the ten?

R. Yes, this is called discovering the king.

S. Before I crown the king I need to crown the friends?

R. Yes, this is as a means.

11. S. (28:26) When do we say that a person has free choice?

R. When does a person have a choice, we have first of all need to detect what is a choice, with respect to what is there a choice, and then we can determine if a person has a choice or not. Well, check.

Reading excerpt #2 (29:05) “Our Father our King..” twice

12. R. (29:19) This is what we say on Rosh Hashanah.

Reading continues (29:26)

13. R. (33:54) Indeed this thing is clear, that this is what we have to reach to feel that only the Creator of rules over the whole world and there's none else besides Him and we exist under his absolute control.

14. S. (34:15) How do we not let the will to receive dominate us, what can we do to help the friends?

R. This is if we ask for forces of bestowal, that the Creator will bring them to us and we will be able to overcome the forces of reception that he wakens in us and everything comes from him, both the bad force and the good force, however we need to choose what do we want that will rule over us. This is all of our work.

15. S. (35:11) Why in order to see the Creator as a king do I need to crown him first and who is the king, man's ego?

R. Certainly man ego rules over the person in that we ask that the Creator will rule over us. We seemingly want to replace the king to bring down one and instead of him to replace the other this is what we need to do.

16. S. (35:59) It says that sometimes he doubts the beginnings, the fundamentals, meaning he says that now he sees that he has worked in vain and indeed did not gain anything by this favor. Why does the Creator give us such states, why do we need that?

R. In order that we shall understand that only he is in control.

Reading excerpts #3 (36:34) “One who is sitting at one’s home..” twice

17. S. (39:00) In previous lessons you told us that we are like a group of criminals until we annul before each other in the temp to discover the Creator between us, in the last 2 years all kinds of natural disasters happen in our countries and a week ago again and my question is, why do I see these events as punishment and I see that I myself am punished in spite of the work that I do?

R. These events are truly a punishment in this that we don't know how to correctly behave, in nature we are the central force within nature and still, vegetative, animate, speaking, we are at the core of the entire system of Nature and if we would correctly arrange ourselves in balance between us then of course all of nature would be arranged in a wonderful manner, and us, what's happening to us. In sum total, it is just to shake us up a bit, it's not truly the strong bestow of the Creator upon us that, God forbid, may come if we continue in our current direction.

Baal HaSulam even writes about world wars 3rd and 4th because according to the forces of nature it's possible and everything is possible he's simply looking at all the forces operating in reality and he sees just how far we can reach in our lack of balance with the forces. He sees that we can truly reach the very edge, meaning to destroy all of reality except for one point that from again begins the entire correction. So we will hope that we will be able to begin performing actions to arrange and to organize and to calm the system of nature which is everything, and the main thing everything is dependent on the existence of the correct relations between us, if we connect correctly between us, and our tens in the international world Kli and in this we can greatly positively influenced the general system of nature.

18. S. (42:12) What does it mean that the lack of faith should be woven in his limbs?

R. That a person needs to feel just how much he lacks faith.

19. S. (42:38) The state where he's standing before the king can we make this habit that it talks about here that he becomes a second nature, that throughout the day and at least to some extent we will have that?

R. Of course, imagine to yourself that you're constantly in front of the Creator.

20. S. (43:03) How to reach a state where the lack of faith is woven in the limbs? Meaning how can we feel such a thing?

R. That's a problem, feel it truly in a person, lack of faith is lack of adhesion, lack of force of bestowal, it's lack of sensation of the Creator and if it's felt as such then it's a sign that a person needs to invest more, to be connected with the friends because only out of this that he mixes between the friends and out of this he reaches the beginning of his sensation of the Creator. How he begins to connect with the Creator, the connection with the Creator is within and is within the friends.

S. This connection comes from lack of prayer?

R. It's a lack of connection between the hearts, then of course the prayer can help.

21. S. (44:40) Is there a difference between intention and faith?

R. Yes of course, because intention is only intention and faith is already a spiritual force a person acquires.

S. What do I need in order to succeed with incorporating with the friends?

R. Annul yourself, read what Rabash wrote with connection in the ten.

22. S. (45:26) What kind of recompense as it says here that compensation that the Creator sent me this importance in the right direction?

R. Think a lot about it.

23. S. (45:43) Is the person's choice to realize that he has no choice and he should only ask to be rewarded with a choice?

R. Yes, that too is a choice.

24. S. (46:00) Where is the person's free choice if only the Creator can help us from crown the king?

R. That is the choice to choose the Creator, which is the king and he arranges everything.

25. S. (46:21) Why bestowing in order to bestow awakens resistance in the system?

R. Because that's already the upper force, the force of bestowal.

26. S. (46:36) How can we achieve that state that we have no other king?

R. The easiest manner is in study and discussion with the friends.

27. S. (46:55) When Rabash visited New York he asked a few students do you have in Lishma, if Rabash would ask today about the society, what would Rav answer?

R. I don't know, what do you think that I'm going to answer you? What silly questions are you asking. you're not asking how to be corrected or how to come closer to the Creator or the friends questions like that, questions of New York.

Reading excerpt #4 (47:45) “Sometimes the king..” twice

28. S. (51:18) About the previous quote when we spoke about the lack, now when we speak about the state where I don't need anything from the Creator but only to be happy, that I can speak to him, aren't these two states the opposite of each other, how can I put them together?

R. In this, that I want nothing for myself and I do everything in order to bestow to the Creator, and thus, all these things connect in this attitude nothing for myself and everything for the Creator.

29. S. (52:11) What does he ask for, what do you ask for?

R. The same thing, I read those same excerpts with you and I ask the same things like you, to get closer to the Creator, because it has no limit until the end of correction it doesn't end.

30. S. (52:52) Nevertheless with which correct is a preferable to come to the king in order to speak to him?

R. This you need to find sir it's not I who's going to tell you you need to search for otherwise you will not be let in and if I will tell you then it will be harder for you to find your own request and without a request you cannot get closer, a personal request.

S. Meaning, nevertheless there are requests that are more suitable for speaking with him?

R. That your heart needs to reveal to you.

S. It's just that many times you mention that we should always ask the Creator at every opportunity?

R. Correct, but you also need to check what are you serving back and each time like this, to learn in your heart how much your desire in your heart is more correct.

31. S. (54:13) After a person recognizes the greatness of the Creator does the faith then exist within reason?

R. Faith is always above reason.

32. S. (54:35) In the text it says that he has no request for the king.If I bless the Creator throughout the day in order to thank Him but I don't ask for anything then I’m doing this courting with the Creator? Maybe through this there will be some implications for the world or should I ask in a very precise way, what is it that I want?

R. The main thing is to request together and pay attention to this. It's not how much I want in my heart with great force and great pressure and yell and ask and cry, no, it's how much I'm asking together with the friends, the prayer of the many, that opens everything.

33. S. (56:03) Many times we come to a state where the only prayer is simply that the Creator will do His will as He pleases but here it seems that there is an addition?

R. It said the Creator does that His desire that is good it’s after I see what I want and I agree that whatever the Creator wants it's good that He does what His desires, and if I am not in this scrutiny of what I want first then it's not a prayer.

S. So there has to be agreement seemingly a full agreement so that I will say see that the Creator does as He pleases?

R. Correct, as it says make your desire as His desire.

S. But here it seems like there is some addition that I say this thing but I do actually do want to ask Him for something so that I’ll have some additional connection with Him.

R. Ask and learn something from it.

34. S. (57:15) If the Creator completely controls me and I get all of my lacks from Him and what's left for me is only to correctly praise my prayer? Is this what is called conversing with the King?

R. That too.

35. S. (57:45) What is the additional value that is added in the concept of crowning the king relative to working above reason?

R. That in this we reveal the king.

36. S. (58:10) To continue the question about the prayer of the many, how do we together through annulment towards each other ask together from the Creator, because annulment each one does it separately, so what is together in this action?

R. In one heart that is called together.

S. So together is an effort that we make because each one annuls towards the center of the group and that's a separate process.

R. This of course on this we cannot ask and it cannot be because each one is different but in this that we want to adhere to the same goal to that same desire of the Creator despite that we are in different desires of our own, that’s called one heart.

S. It means that everyone together are in the same process that’s called the prayer for the many?

R. Yes.

37. S. (59:10) Why is this a prayer of request and not a prayer of gratitude?

R. Sometimes it's really hard to differentiate that it comes from time to time this way and that but the question is what does the heart feel? Does it want something or not, does it want to take something out from itself towards the Creator or to arrange itself towards the Creator?

38. S. (59:43) To make the king the Creator and to receive a desire to give is this the what I receive within my heart but this isn’t it desire to receive for myself?

R. It could be that it's expressed by you in this manner in your heart but nonetheless it's on the path.

39. S. (01:00:36) When we are in the will to receive for ourselves the Creator is hidden. Is the Creator still our king? If not who is He now?

R. That's what you feel, whatever a person feels that's what he has, he should check himself of what he has towards the Creator, how he receives how he accepts what the Creator wants towards him and in this it will be clear to him in what state he is in.

40. S. (01:1:13) Can we feel the Creator’s influence in times of shattering as the force that brings us closer to each other in spite of the disagreements?

R. Disagreements don't need to influence us, to distance between us, to alienate us, rather the opposite, that upon the disagreements we make the effort to be connected, and then there is a strength to our connection that as much as there is Aviut coarseness in the Partzuf such is the height of that Partzuf that upon it is built the Tzimtzum restriction, screen, and reflected light, and thus as much as we have disagreements, arguments, all sorts of contradictions, oppositions, it doesn't matter.

What's important is our we overcoming them and placing them, establishing them, in the Achoraim in the posterior of our Partzuf and afterwards do we make an effort to be in connection, that love covers all crimes, that both need to be both this and that and we need to get ourselves used to, to teach ourselves, to be in both these opposite states at once, at once, both in our life and in our family and between friends and with everything, that when did the students of Rabbi Shimon wanted to kill one another and long with this they reached connection and corrections, then they did it already want to kill themselves, their friends, they did want, one doesn’t annul the other, rather one exists upon the other, that's very important I hope that you hear this well, yes. It's like in a family that it could be truly relations of separation between them and what not in our life.

The Creator, there is none else besides Him sends us all sorts of troubles in our life and places us in opposition to one another and nonetheless we need to keep what we have and continue and continue and not to ruin the connection, rather to understand the connection needs to be upon the forces of separation and only in such a manner can we build the correct form of the system that includes in it both the bad forces and the good forces, and we need to keep both, and to be above both, and then and then in such a manner do we get closer to the Creator that we have coarseness and we have refinement, and thus love covers all crimes. If there won't be crimes, no transgressions there cannot be love, that’s how we’re built, so we need to learn this.

41. S. (01:05:09) Why giving a name to the Creator is so important?

R. A name for the Creator is called as much as I feel Him as much as I reach equivalence of form with Him and thus it indicates my correction.

42. S. (01:05:34) In excerpt number one it says it turns out that a person makes the king who will rule over him. This means that a person feels that the Creator rules over the entire world. What does it mean that a person feels the Creator? How can I be mistaken about it that I actually feel the Creator?

R. If I mix with my friends if I connect with them, make a connection with them, if I stop to feel myself rather I feel all of us together, then I am preparing the vessel there to feel the Creator and then that same general sensation that dwells between us that we can say is the Creator, the beginning of the sensation of the Creator, and in such a manner we get close to become familiar and to feel Him, meaning that within the connection between the friends we reveal the Creator. Only in such a manner.

43. S. (01:06:55) Something happened in the last few days as if we've entered the system and we operate or even hear it within. How do we start living in that in a natural way for the benefit of the entire system?

R. Out of this that you are getting strengthening the connection between you you need to also to operate for the benefit of the general Kli and to pray for the entire worldwide Bnei Baruch, then you'll begin to feel how much you more and more feeling and rising to degrees of awareness of the Creator that are higher and higher.

44. S. (01:07:58) As we learned, the revelation of evil, the revelation of hatred is necessary. These states are not simple. How in such a state can we behave, should we behave in the ten?

R. We learned this from the articles of Rabash. The main thing is first of all to annul myself, that's it, that's what I need first of all to annul myself as if I don't exist and afterwards to begin connection with each one and all of us together but again in this that I don't exist that I truly am annulling among the many, as it’s called, and in such a manner we reach the correct vessel.

45. S. (01:08:52) What does it mean to do everything for the sake of heaven?

R. On the intention to bestow through the friends that there shall be good for all of you, that’s called for the sake of the heavens.

46. S. (01:09:10) What can we talk to the Creator about through the connection between us? What can the Creator pass on to us and what should we pass on to Him?

R. [none]

47. S. (01:09:27) How to feel the Creator as the king over us in all the states in joy and also after I receive a blow from the Creator through a friend?

R. Be open to Him in all the states and then you will feel.

48. S. (01:09:50) I wanted to ask about this principle that you talked about that love covers all crimes. You say that in spite of the forces of separation we have to keep, in that same state, in parallel, not to disconnect them. So usually we wait for things to calm down for the feud for the dispute to calm down and then…

R. Okay okay that's us what can we do and and spirituality we also have such states because it doesn't immediately go from state to state, there is some pause and a break, but nonetheless that's how we need to be worried that as much as we’ll have states of connection and disconnection, disconnection and connection, that are closer and closer to one another.

S. But first crimes and then love or should the crimes be simultaneous in parallel?

R. Transgressions and love they cannot be in parallel they can only be one after the other because all this is done in our system of sensation, of feeling, that the main thing is what we feel,  and that is the entire wisdom of Kabbalah because it’s expressed in our desire.

Reading excerpt number 5 “The main thing that we need..” twice

49. S. (01:16:07) Can a person feel pleasure by not feeling pleasure?

R. You can you’re right. Sometimes the fact that I don't feel pleasure it gives me pleasure from being in the correct state that by that I see the point that I am in as a correct point along the way.

50. S. (01:16:50) It turns out that this process, also in Baal HaSulam’s degree and kabbalists it’s the same process, that you lack importance of the goal or is it only for beginners?

R. This is something that is always missing, the greatness of the goal, the way, the friends, the Creator, the greatness of whatever is outside of my desire to receive, it's always something that is lacking because my ego, until the end of Correction one way or the other, jumps up and wants to control everything, wants to rule everything

S. But something is still forcing us.

R. This is called the point in the heart that exists in a person, that exists in any person, and this point is a spark from the vessel that was before the shattering and the light that shines then the part, that the bit of light the Reshimot from the light that remains and it shines in a person and the person starts aspiring from that small Reshimot to reach the entire whole and perfect light and that's why we can’t rest right now but instead we are on this lesson and doing different other things that we do, so that's how it is.

Every day we need to find more and more people in the world who have that same point in the heart that have that same Reshimot left from the state prior to the shattering of the soul of Adam HaRishon and it exists in everyone only depending on to what extent, so from one day to the next from day to day the light shines ever more and the vessels, they awaken from a greater depth and aspire to come closer to the light and therefore day in day out to their new people that get the desire to come closer to the upper light for it fulfill them and this is how it happens and this is how it is, and this is called evolution, corporal and spiritual evolution. See how it used to be, people aspired for knowledge for example science or something, no not at all but later yes.

Did people yearn for culture no, later yes, meaning these are all scrutinies over scrutinies that the Kemim, the vessels want to come closer to the light for it to fulfill them and more and more all of the time and now we're already entering the period of the last generation, meaning that people are starting to better and better understand that the thing pulling them is that inner force, general force that exists in nature called Creator and this is what they need to aspire for, this is what they feel that this is what they need to discover and this is called the deficiency of the last generation and so we need to find more and more people who have this desire and to explain to them how to fulfill it that you do it to with in our framework.

51. S. (01:20:55) How can we feel the importance and greatness of the king in the ten?

R. Talk about it, read materials about it, surely there are many materials about it in our archive in Spanish and Latin, and this is how they should near it. The main thing is to incorporate more and more with the words of Kabbalists.

52. S. (01:21:46) The importance of the Creator, is a decision together with the ten or is a result that the ten must expect? Also in dissemination.

R. The importance of the Creator is what we get from the Creator as a response to our desire to feel Him, to appreciate Him, to respect Him, meaning over our deficiency of our prayer.

53. S. (01:22:39) When you get burdening from the efforts to bestow you start feeling the importance of the state, is that a beginning of the spiritual force already?

R. It is not yet the spiritual force but it's already come closer to it.

54. S. (01:23:07) I want to ask about putting Him as a king over us. Do we crown the greatness of the Creator upon us?

R. Yes.

S. So that’s the question, do we attain the Creator or only His greatness, that’s what leads us?

R. How do you attain a person? You attain his greatness, his qualities, and this means that you attain that person, same thing here, but here it's even more, I can exactly express it but by coming closer to the friends to the Creator you start feeling His internality and the measure to which you’re adhered, and also the same goes for the Creator, and with the Creator it’s even more that the Creator fulfills you, your desire to receive in order to bestow, fulfills it and then you become fulfilled by the Creator, He fulfills you, He is in you in such a way where there is no greater connection that connects us between the two. It’s really a yearning for spiritual love, it creates a special vessel that each can fulfill the other. There’s not really words for it but we’ll come closer to it and we’ll understand the essence of the situation.

S. So what is this connection with the Creator based on?

R. The connection with the Creator is based in the fact that we want to bestow to each other that I don't care what happens to me, the main thing is to bestow to Him and then I discover the same attitude from the Creator towards me.

S. What’s His importance, His greatness, how does that help or benefit the connection?

R. I can annul myself towards Him and this way to adhere to Him.

S. When we work in a ten so our vessel to be in contact with the Creator is our ability to increase Him in our eyes?

R. Yes in our vessel we increase the Creator and we start feeling Him to the measure which in we make Him great because the Creator has no measure it all depends on us, on our vessels, that we make Him 620 times greater, that is the measure in which He’s greater and then He becomes great who rules the entire world. The entire world meaning what? Our entire vessel, that’s the entire world.

S. So all of the degrees of attainment as much as we can increase Him in our vessels?

R. Yes of course, the attainment it’s in our Kli.

55. S. (01:27:10) When we work with one another in the ten, the moment there’s a connection with someone it’s a clear state, if I resist someone that's clear too, how do we work when there's just indifference? How do I annul before a friend who has indifference? What’s that work?

R. You annul toward him in order to reach connection, contact with him and in that connection that you make after you’ve annulled yourself  you start bestowing to him.

S. What am I annulling towards?

R. In that you show him that’s how you are too in order to nonetheless be in some kind of equivalence to form with him otherwise you won't be able to bestow at all and by that you clothe an external Partzuf upon yourself.

56. S. (01:28:14) Yesterday we did a very big action, we got a lot of greatness and forces and fuel from it. How do we pass this on, how will we give contentment to the Creator with this?

R. Were you connected and close, since you were close and connected with each other then try and derive some kind of result from your connection some total, I can’t get into it. You certainly have a special kind of connection among yourselves, so try and derive some kind of conclusions out of this connection and some kind of action, no matter what it'll be good, but any action, any gathering, any thing needs to end with you deciding that the next time for the next state what are you doing now in order to realize what you got in this state otherwise you don't come out of the Yeshivat Haverim a meal,Yeshivat Haverim, it doesn't matter what and how even, a meal where you could go around have fun and everything still you need to see how do you come out of that into the next state, what are you coming out of that into the next state with, that needs to be clear, and even if you don't have a decision about how the next state needs to be and how you need to accept that next state, that too needs to be clear.

57. S. (01:30:10)The mind is clear that everything we are searching for is in the connection but how do I convince myself that it will also be in my feelings?

R. You can’t convince yourself that it’s going to in your feeling as well because these are two separate systems, mind and emotion, and so if you want for it to be in your emotion too then you need to connect to the friends that are in control of your emotion, to pass the state of emotion to intellect and from intellect to emotion. If it's from emotion to intellect then you’re self-think, by yourself, if you want to shift things from intellect to emotion then for that you need to incorporate with the friends that this is where your emotional vessel is.

S. So first we act until I get their influence?

R. Yes, bit by bit slowly gradually. Think about what I just said these few words.

Reading #6 (01:31:43) “If a person wants to work and observe Torah and Mitzvot…” Twice

58. S. (01:34:20) In the beginning of the lesson you said that the main thing is the feeling and we’re speaking about the greatness of the king. How do you measure the greatness of the king?

R. The measure that you feel it in your heart, there's no other way about it. It has no measure, your heart is small and can be fulfilled with the king. Your heart can be big and can only be partially filled only a small part of it, so it has no measure, it is all measured in relation to man.

S. What does it mean what he assumes in his heart?

R. To the extent in which a person measures it in his heart.

S. Yes but is it black and white big king or small king?

R. It’s something that I cannot explain it’s a feeling, we’ll try to get there and then it will become clear to us.
