Part 1:

Reading Article. (00:42) “The Mishnah says, “From the beginning of Av...”

1. S. (53:15) He writes on page number seventy-six in the second column down below, “it therefore follows that when he will be rewarded with working for His sake certainly all the Commandments he performed not for the sake he will enter into sanctity and it will be as important as though he had performed them for Lishma”.

R. We learned this already I think.

S. I didn't understand it, the way it is written here, what does it mean?

R. Meaning that even though he wanted to perform some actions on the intention to bestow to the Creator and he didn't succeed, and we even did them truly with the intention to receive, but out of this, that we were in effort and that we think that we could nonetheless do something with the intention to bestow, these actions will be corrected.

S. What does it mean that they will be corrected, how can you correct things that you did incorrectly in the past?

R. The light that reforms arrives.

S. He corrects you from here onwards but how can he correct it from the past?

R. Out of this, I thought that I am doing it correctly.

S. What exactly is correction, is it justification, I don't quite understand what correction means?

R. I understand you, it is difficult to grasp, we perform some action and this action is in something correct and in something incorrect and the intention is incorrect, right? What turns out is that after we perform it, we check, we want to correct it, to arrange it, we want to be adhered to the action of the intention to bestow and that it turns out that it works out. I get you, I understand that it is not so clear, understandable, I understand that “how can it be if I'm doing it, I'm the intention to receive, so what does it mean that it suddenly turns out to be on the intention to bestow? But the Creator gives him wings, there are such actions like this, we will speak more of this; it specifically tells us that we are in a state that is much better than we think, much better and we don't quite see all the actions of correction that we are performing.

2. S. (57:15) What does it mean to feel the worst of everyone?

R. How would I know, I am not the worst of everyone.

S. What is this feeling that I feel that I'm the worst of everyone, is it only I feel that I always feel that I'm the lowest of everyone, that without friends I am worth nothing?

R. Possibly, could be.

S. How is this related to my correction?

R. Well, if a person feels that he's the worst of everyone then he has a drive to correct himself, it’s natural.

S. This feeling is with respect to the feeling of connection between me and the Creator?

R. Yes.

3. S. (58:30) Rabash tells us that to bestow contentment to the Creator gives us the strength to receive the upper degrees so my question is what are the actions that we should do in the Ten in order to increase the contentment to the Creator?

R. Through the friends, how else can you do actions with the Creator to give Him contentment, we don't feel it, we don't understand it, we don't see the results. But if you do it through the friends, that, you are sure that the Creator is happy with this, then you give Him contentment. Also, what can you give the Creator, right?, what can you cause Him, nothing, thus only through the friends.

4. S. (59:42) It turns out there to all of our prayers the more with the greater deficiency it's actually the opposite of an issue with the Creator so only through gratitude and praise we can reach joy. Is this an incorrect prayer if there is a deficiency there?

R. Why?

S. Because it doesn't match the inclination to bestow.

R. It depends which lacks.

S. The deficiency in the will to receive?

R. No, no.

S. Is it an intention already?

R. Yes.

5. S. (01:00:31) Reading excerpt “It turns out the created being immediately at the time of his creation...”

How does he allow us, help us to unite these two lines because everything exists within us?

R. Correct.

S. How does He operate towards us so that He will in fact start combining the opposite that exists in us already?

R. He gives you an opportunity to scrutinize these things, to connect them and to continue.

S. It says later on that “on the month of Adar we can take the enemies”, that we seemingly have and scrutinize upon the month of Adar and the explanation he gives here that “on the month of Adar there were lights of Correction”, this means that the time when we have to turn with disagreements, the students actually the same time the Creator is above us in a professional manner so my question is what do we do during the whole year not only on the month of Adar?

R. We’ll learn more, we have more work to do but truly the month of Adar is a unique month. Also,it's written that if you want to make some sentences with someone, some judgment, do it in the month of Adar and more and so on.

6. S. (01:03:12) He writes in the beginning of the article about the allegory with the person who wants to take a loan and in the end he instead finds a job and he explains the difference between being a servant working and being a loyal person, what's the difference between the two and how can they be trustworthy or loyal on the path?

R. You cannot say, loyal people that you see them, then it must be that you can invest everything, or according to the height of how you believe them.

S. How do I become trustworthy or loyal?

R. How do you, according to the extent of faith that you acquire, adhesion in the Creator, reception of the upper light from above that fills you in, corrects you, and ties you to the upper system, how much to the extent that you enter the system of bestowal.

S. Is it somehow, somewhere felt and we always talk about it in the work but what's the difference between being a worker, like you just said, and being loyal or trustworthy? Rabash is explaining?

R. Servant or someone who works is someone who's still correcting himself, and is in the middle of the way, you cannot say whether he's corrected or not corrected. He's working. Whereas someone who is correcting himself already ,we can see it that he understands and he feels it, and the upper system feels it and knows it, it perceives him in such a way that in some of his actions he is trustworthy.

S. He also talks about the path of coercion, “a person is coerced until he says ‘I want’” but the moment a person says ‘I want’, doesn't he lose all of his work because the coercion is going above the desire, above reason, to be adhere to the friends, to the path and suddenly he says ‘I want’, isn't it stealing all the work?

R. I cannot tell you, first of all you are talking about something that is global, about everything, but there matters here where a person now wants to climb on a certain act of bestowal, which is called a Mitzvah and he's only talking about that, that's it, not more.

7. S. (01:06:15) He writes also about the middle line which is the will to receive on the intention to bestow that the will to receive is incorporated in the vessels of bestowal, so this condition of the two opposites to unite them, that's the condition to giving contentment to the Creator?

R. Apparently so. To say it is simple.

8. S. (01:06:50) Many times in the work we're happy, but oftentimes, we have no joy and we want to escape the work. How do we find the strength to continue working even when we don't have joy? How can we bring joy to the friends in such a state?

R. Even though we don't have joy from a specific action, however, this is in how we feel and we need to rise above this feeling so it will be in order to bestow and then we will get closer to the feeling of joy; so that even though, I, myself am not happy, however, in the vessels of bestowal, I will be able to feel joy, soon I will enter them and soon I will feel joy.

S. What's your advice, same thing towards dissemination?

R. Yes.

9. S. (01:08:32 ) Here in the beginning of the article, he talks about gentiles… {it's not clear}  He talks about two types of Dinim, judgments, how is this, he referring to the ten?

R. I don't know if I can explain this to you: The month of Adar is a month where for someone who yearns to, for connection, for getting closer to the Creator, has in that some opening from above. They give him more forces, they help him, that's it, accordingly you should calculate. That is, if you want to perform good deeds, it's worthwhile to do it on Adar, you'll get help.

S. That's where the question is from because, in general, we make an effort not to touch this, the left, we make an effort to work on the right, and we know the left appears as it is. Regarding scrutiny, it's not so clear, how to do the scrutiny?

R. I can't begin to open up all these things now, we're not in them yet, and we therefore don't know how to work with the times and with the conditions. But we will reach it, it's actually not too far away, not far away. We have ahead of us, the time of Yom Kippur and the time of Adar, that’s in the winter; and we will understand all of these things and we will proceed and absorb them.

10. S. (01:11:20) You said the month of Adar is for someone who wants to get closer to the Creator, he has a certain opening from above, now what about the month of Av, ‘diminishing in joy’?

R. This is the opposite in the month of Av, don't start anything, don't do anything because there is a great chance that you will not succeed in anything.

S. Why ‘diminish in joy’?

R. Because it's not a month for joy, there are times for the better and there are times for the worst.

S. Yes,of course, we don't have weddings and all kinds of things.

S. We're referring to the internal work of man?

R. Yes, of course, as a result.

11. S. (01:12:16) He writes “a person is in a state of incomplete called left line, he is in a state of cursed and surely he is separated from the wholeness”, how can a person check if he is in criticism and complaints?

R. I don't know but it should already be clear if he is in criticism and complaints it is actions of the created beings, usually, over the Creator, Himself, then he already has a problem. He has to be careful with it, with such an approach he will not succeed.

S. A person finds himself, time after time, in complaints, he's inserted in such a state?

R. Deliberately.

S. What's the advice here, how to exit such a state as fast as possible?

R. Immediately to stop the criticism.

S. How does that serve the purpose of creation?

R. Start reading Psalms out loud, I'm not making fun of you.

12. S. (01:13:54) Is there a reason why in that month we have to do it?

R. Yes, there are times, there are the 12 months of the year so you have such and such and such. Like the clock, you have twenty-four hours and, in general, there is the matter of times for the better and times for the worse.

S. Why can't we be in the right throughout the whole year?

R. Because that's how it's organized in the general schedule of the world.

13. S. (01:14:49) The matter of the Adar is corporeal or is this a completely spiritual thing?

R. Also corporeal and also spiritual, I understand that it's still hard for us to connect this with that but there is no choice, we will nevertheless have to think about this and that.

S. This means in the month of Adar, there's a better chance to defeat the evil inclination?

R. Yes.

14. S. (01:15:21) What is the state in the ten called the month of Adar?

R. It's when we reach the right line.

15. S. (01:15:35) I wanted to ask you, the vessel of reception will always be borrowed by the vessel of bestowal?

R. No, it is much more complex, it's not always this governing over that, just like for example, it depends on which months, which times, the times for good, the times for bad etc. We can see how the world is inverted, peace to war and from war to peace, and more and more, it's not simple, we will gradually learn this.

16. S. (01:17:07) How can we always work in happiness in the Ten?

R. It depends on the connection between us, we can always be above the stars and charms in our desire.

17. S. (01:17:45) What does it mean that “in man there’s a time for corruption and a time for correction?

R. Well, that's how it is,each and everyone has times for the good and times for the bad, we read about this several times in all kinds of places.

18. S. (01:18:18) What's interesting is that first he writes that “you reach happiness that the smallest degree in the world of Assiya”, and then he says that “a time comes to connect the ones with the left line that don't believe to give more contentment”?

R. ‘The heretics of alien faith’ are those desires and thoughts that you are turning now and changing them towards the Creator.

S. On some stage, can we start working with these thoughts?

R. Of course, we need all the thoughts and all the desires, we need to invert all of them to the quality of bestowal.

S. What are the states of the work, if I understand correctly from the article, that we force ourselves and then from such an effort we reach happiness and connection with the Creator, and then as a result of that state we can correct and connect all the rest?

R. Yes, that's exactly how it works, only by our efforts.

19. S. (01:20:41) He is describing a state of a person working and Lo Lishma and then he said “okay our sages say from Lo Lishma we come to Lishma, I'm still happy that I'm doing something that is still a commandment”. It seems like it's like a happiness that moves someone away and harms the advancement because it blurs out the truth.

R. It could be as you can see, it could be.

20. S. (01:21:26) About scrutinizing our intention, can we do it only from deeds and without that it's not true because it says everything will be clarified in thought?

R. No no, without the action it does not work, it’s dead.

21. S. (01:21:57) Are they trying to tell us that there's a difference between losing the externality, that caution about that externality, and the caution about internality? That in the month of Adar you can lose the connection with the Creator and then ask for a miracle. But on the outside we can feel sorry and ask for forgiveness?

R. Try, the direction is correct.

22. S. (01:22:45) How do we keep the awareness of giving pleasure to the Creator constantly?

R. By one helping his friend, in the group.

23. S. (01:23:16) Can we view the left line and the right line as two opposing networks of Reshimot and do we create through connections and the prayer of many, do we create the network which essentially shifts the balance to what’s the right line?

R. Yes, we will work on that.

24. S. (01:24:16) Preparing for the great light has to be in happiness, that we're waiting for a respected guest, that's what's written in the article; so the question is how to invite happiness in the ten from something that will happen in the future?

R. Surrounding light.

S. What does it mean to be happy about the future?

R. It's the light that has yet to clothe the vessel, that's why it's called, ‘surrounding light’.

S. What can I say about the ten that will cause joy?

R. I don't know, think about something.

S. It's written that “our sages said that when a person repents through love, the sins become as merits”?

R. These are the rules of good behavior.

25. S. (01:26:05) Everything comes to the final part in the article about the month of Av so what's our work now in this month of Av?

R. We need to scrutinize in the month of Av, all our lacks, our mistakes, our shatterings and prepare them for correction.

S. What's this action about mourning for the Temple that we have to work on the left?

R. To bow our heads and pray for the Creator to shine upon our ruins, our broken vessels, in our mind and heart, for Him to give us the possibility to see them correctly.

S. So we're here as tens in the world Kli as Bnei Baruch, what are we expected to do, what could we add in these really special times that are happening here in Israel?

R. That from the Creator with His great mercy will perform corrections upon us so that we will be able to tolerate them, work according to these corrections and to come to correction.

S. When we say not to outburst in happiness so what should we do then?

R. We need to connect, that is all in all the corrected system of Adam HaRishon, that is it.

S. Every action that we now come out of the lesson with and during the day until the end of this week, what do you think we should do to not miss this opportunity that we are working here, I feel that we are working a lot here, all the friends?

R. I open my heart. I let all the friends enter my heart and I truly want for a connection to happen there and that's how it should be with each and every one of us in his heart, let's put it that way.

S. Don't spare us, I really feel that here…?

R. I'm not holding back.

S. I'm saying you should demand of us.

R. I don't know what to add, really you know everything, you heard everything, you learned everything, what else can I add? Ask, I’ll answer.

S. That we will not cry tomorrow about what we could have done today.

R. Don't worry, from above we have the real teacher.

26. S. (01:30:18) He writes that also on the way of coercion you are performing the Mitzvot and you cannot resist it because even the practical Mitzvot have a remedy that can bring a person to Lishma.

R. What's written is what you need to understand. There's nothing here that you need to understand below it.

S. What are the practical Mitzvot?

R. They're practical.

S. What we are doing in the ten? In the group?

R. Yes, yes.

S. So where does the remedy come from if it's just a corporeal action?

R. There's a remedy in them since you're seemingly connecting and returning to the corrected system of Adam HaRishon.

S. So what's the purpose of coercion?

R. That we're doing it also in coercion if we cannot according to the desire to do so.

S. And it also works because it's written; a person where he calculates that's where he is so if a person thinks that he's speaking to the King he's at that place so is there also a way to coerce your thoughts that you can force yourself to think of something?

R. Yes, what's the wonder?

S. What's the wonder? We're not used to it. We get some thoughts from the environment from the books. How can we conduct them in force? I can determine what I'm going to think about?

R. Of course most of the time that's what you do, where you decide for yourself what you're going to think about what you want to attain with your thought.

S. And when he says that according to the deeds of the lower ones to that extent a deed awakens from above, he writes about forcing actions on the lower ones?

R. Also.

27. S. (01:32:40) He writes that he doesn't ask the Creator for anything and his whole tendency now is just wanting to give gratitude to the Creator, we find that now he is adhered to the Creator because he is engaging in bestowal. When we are in gratitude are we bestowing to the creator? because it's not clear.

R. He's not demanding anything from the Creator, he just wants to thank him for what he received from the Creator or how the Creator cares for him.

S. And in this state we are in bestowal to the Creator?

R. Of course, when you say to Him thank you very much for doing so and so I'm thanking you etc. it's because I'm in bestowal towards the Creator.

28. S. (01:33:56) What is the discernment of the idol worshipers in man?

R. That they want to go crookedly and not in a straight manner.

S. I mean the idol worshipers.

R. Yes, I get that.

S. It's the same word as crooked, what does it mean he doesn't want to go straight? What is a straight line?

R. The straight path is to bestow to the Creator.

S. And the not straight line where is he going?

R. With all kinds of other intentions.

S. We said that there is a corporeal expression to the month of Adar or Av for instance not to have festive events in Av and so on and on the other hand we said that Israel are above times and above fortunes so what does that mean?

R. Yes, Israel is above all the idol stars and charms on the other hand there is a matter of what we call luck or charm and it's written a lot about it in the texts that there are times for the good and times for the bad and there's a lot about this and we therefore need to choose when we engage in something but with certainty if we connect between us and our intention it is to connect to the Creator and to truly connect to Him, then there isn't here something that can bother us in that action and it has nothing to do with what month we are in.

S. So what is Adar and AV on our end because Rabash is teaching us about spirituality so what is it for us?

R. There are times for the good and times for the bad. Times for good times for bad and we need to look for such articles and learn from them.

S. So it's a person's feeling in his inner work that he can…?

R. It's not just the feeling, it's a fact, it's a fact.

S. Can we recognize it and use it?

R. Yes this was given to us so that we will be more, you know, for us to learn how to attribute ourselves to this and that both to the right line and the left line until we reach the middle line and until we advance in the middle line we can only advance when we are leaning to the right or the left and then again to the middle line. How is it called to go in a… well you cannot go straight like when you're sailing, when you're going against the wind, so you do like this and like that and like this and like that but eventually you're going upwind.

S. We used to learn that we have to be tuned 23 and a half hours in the right and here it's divided a bit differently that one month out of the 12 and…?

R. I cannot answer you about all those things. There are many writings about it.

S. But in our books that…?

R. Yes, in Rabash, he puts it into those articles and maybe we don't notice it but I remember many places.

29. S. (01:38:17) I wanted to ask about gratitude, where does that come into man's work if we're full of deficiencies?

R. If we are filled with deficiencies then is there room for gratitude or what are you asking?

S. We're constantly changing through States and we don't have the time also in inner work where a person stops and gives gratitude, he's constantly changing states and it seems like gratitude is something that rides above it all that He's not in this work?

R. Yes, correct gratitude is a way that we relate to the Creator upon all the actions that He does to me because eventually above it all I'm certain that I am coming with His help to the final correction.

S. How can a person better this matter of gratitude, how do you work on gratitude?

R. With the friends, there is no other way.

S. So in the ten you talk about it?

R. Yes.

S. About gratitude and praise is that the correction or should that come with the corrections?

R. Praise and gratitude need to be as an accompaniment to our appeal to our address.

30. S. (1:40:11) I never understood why the 15th of Av is the holiday of love, why is it specifically in that month?

R. I don't know why it's that way, why the dates are arranged that way, the months, the years, it’s for the time being it's above my reason.

S. Here it's like contradicting everything he wrote about?

R. Sir, I don't understand what you are continuing to ask for. I also didn't see it written anywhere in any logical way, rather it's written it's this way and that's this and that's why it's this and this and that's it.

31. S. (1:41:15) When a person thanks the Creator he connects none else besides him and the good that does good. He sees the Creator performs everything and he justifies the guidance of the good that does good, so all of the spiritual work is just to connect none else besides Him and the good that does good?

R. Yes.

32. S. (01:42:01) Concerning this praise and gratitude, it is as still having deficiencies so not being complete yet you cannot come to a full praise of the Creator it says, all of my bones shall say, so you cannot come to that state yet. Can you explain this again why that is so, what is the relation between them?

R. I don't understand the question.

S. Still having deficiencies you have the lack to be able to want to ask help from the Creator and not to be able to be in full praise to the Creator yet to not be in all my bones shall say, why is that so?

R. Because you still have a few bones you can't think with.

S. What do you mean by that, a few bones that you cannot think with?

R. It's written, all my bones, that all my bones shall say so which means that they're saying good to the Creator yes, they want to thank and if so then it's okay.

S. So why don’t I come to praise the full praise there? So what is needed to come to a full praise, how much deficiency?

R. To the extent that I understand we can never come to a complete praise. We always say the Creator will complete it for me, where a person cannot nevertheless come to a state in which 100 per cent he closes the account, the calculation, there's no such thing.

S. So you should stop asking for help? That means to come to full praise?

R. No, you continue, just know that it's written about that the Creator will complete it for me, that I can’t in a full manner upon all the deficiencies, problems, my transgressions, etc., ask for correction, forgiveness, I cannot but the Lord will complete it for me. You have another addition there, like in mathematics the “C “that we add, how should we say that in Hebrew, I don't know, the constant we add, the fact that it's a constant it’s clear so that you cannot take into account so in math you add the constant and that remains.

33. S. (01:46:11) Rabash writes that the reason for happiness is when being in praise and gratitude and not while checking his deficiencies. How by checking the deficiencies, because that's the essence of man of the will to receive, how can he find happiness in that state too?

R. Because despite the fact that he has additional lacks and he cannot cover them but he says the Creator will complete it for me.

S. So that's already praise and gratitude?

R. Yes, it includes it?

S. So he can always be in happiness not only in gratitude and praise?

R. Always, okay wonderful.

34. S. (01:47:00) A friend in the ten doesn't feel the worst but I feel the worst in everybody but Ialong with that we're connected in a very harmonious way, what is the better state?

R. Together, complete one another.

S. I see one's crying for the destruction, one’s praying for the connection?

R. Okay.

35. S. (01:47:56) It's written in the article that a person prays from the bottom of the heart and raises deficiencies so the feeling of the deficiency brings a prayer and as a result he can't be in happiness so I got confused. How to connect happiness, that means you're on the right path on one hand, but on the other way it means pray all day but that's only from a deficiency, so how to connect all of this?

R. You know what, fall onto the hands of the friends and everything will work out without too many wise thoughts, okay?

36. S. (01:49:00) There are all these beautiful things, there's bestowal, joy, miracles. What if we are experiencing great great fear, what is that meant to tell us?

R. Fear? Fear is very important, It's a very good quality. There are those that feel it more and those that feel it less. I think that whoever feels it more has a better chance of coming closer towards corrections specifically, but also it shouldn't be so much so closed like a vice and doesn't breathe, but If I remember correctly there are like 800 and something different kinds of fears for a person and that's why it's good, it just points to the extent in which we can be assisted by all kinds of such things on behalf of the Creator.
