Part 3:

Baal HaSulam. A Speech for the Completion of The Zohar

Reading Article: (00:38) “And since The Zohar appeared in our Generation….”

1. S. (07:39) He reiterates several times the words, “We were given an opportunity,” what is the opportunity we were given, and how do we take it into our hands?

R. We will learn together what he is writing here from all his writings and Rabash we will understand what to do. If we do not want to agree with the exile, we are in.

2. S. (08:24) In the end he writes that it is an opportunity for redemption, what does he mean an opportunity for redemption?

R. We can, it depends on us, and we can be rewarded with redemption. Because redemption happens through the light that comes to us from above the upper light, which influences us, purifies, refines, and elevates the vessels meaning us, to the degree of attaining the Creator. Connection with Him and adhesion with Him in a way that is called redemption.

3. S. (09:25) What was this opportunity given? Is it because of Betach, at its own pace, or should we have given a big sacrifice?

R. An opportunity is given according to the desire of the lower ones to the extent that they want to already be in a state of redemption.

S. When we in the tens get a discernment that we have an opportunity, what is the action demanded from us even though we haven't really?

R. You unite and turn to the Creator and pray for connection and for ascension.

S.  For every opportunity?

R.  Yes, yes.

4. S. (10:32) He writes that we need to purify, sanctify, and receive the work of the Creator on us in Torah and Mitzvot, Lishma, and the Temple will be built, and we will inherit the land. What is he talking about?

R. Our corrections. We need to understand in what our corrections are, how we come to them, by what we are sanctified, and how we come to a state that is called complete redemption.

S. It is not something corporeal, it feels very exalted?

R. It also includes corporeality, and complete redemption includes corporeality.

S. You're speaking about a state that connects everything into one?

R. Yes.

5. S. (11:32) That is the strange part here that our corporeal redemption has started and the energy in it comes from people that completely cancel the existence of the Creator. They came out of a theory that there is no Creator.

R. Well, first of all, it may be because they canceled the presence of the Creator and didn't want to accept Him, and indeed they were rewarded with being connected to the future redemption of Israel. Precisely through their law, their teaching which is built entirely on social connection.

6. S. (12:33) Because of the infrastructure?

R. The infrastructure is a social connection.

S. But that is also gone, everything that was left with the cancellation of the Creator, people still seem to them what is rational?

R. I don't want to argue with what is happening today. We still don't know what will happen and that period has not yet ended, but it is clear to us that it has nothing to do with religion.

7. S. (13:10) Correct me if I am wrong. The giving and receiving in the middle there is the word permission, because of what?

R. I don't know but what is happening here he is not talking about it. He is speaking about permission only in the sense that we have taken it upon ourselves to come closer to redemption.

S. On behalf of giving and the fact that we are here learning?

R. So what?

S. Does this bring us closer to giving?

R. Of course, because we are a big entity of several hundred people, maybe even several thousand. If we are speaking about the whole world and that body, that entity has relatively big willpower.

S. How can each and every ten connect to that force while they work?

R.  We work in tens and from the tens we raise MAN to the Creator by wanting to come closer to Him so that each ten will become a vessel that is ready to receive the upper force and accordingly to work.

S. A sensation of what you said is to hold the world Kli?

R. In order to hold ourselves first of all.

S. We can get forces from one side and bestow to the other side?

R. Yes.

8. S. (15:10) Baal HaSulam warns us in the text not to be under the control of the external ones of Israel, of external influences, on the other hand, we know that it is necessary to disseminate and bestow and have some kind of contact with the external ones, in order to pass over to them what we are studying about. That is what we are doing now, so how to keep the necessary proportions on one hand, and be connected to them and bestow to them, and on the other hand, not to be under their control?

R. This is what we do, we disseminate to all the nations of the world and we are drawing everyone because now we are before the complete redemption.

S. But he warns us not to be under their influence?

R. What control are we under? We are not under any control, we are only under the control of our corrupted will to receive, our spoiled egoism, the will to receive is the only thing that is above us.

S. We live in an environment that has certain values and goals and we bestow to them we disseminate to them, how while we are in that environment, how not be influenced by them?

R. We try to spread our values in society and not absorb into us, the values of society.

S. How to keep the right proportion here?

R. Only together in the group do we advance together and we will begin to feel how to do it correctly.

9. S. (17:57) It says that redemption and attainment are connected to each other. What does that mean?

R. Redemption and complete attainment to the extent that we rise above our situation where we are under the control of the Klipot, the shells, the evil inclination to that extent that we come out of that governance we can already speak about our spiritual state.

S. Without attainment there will not be redemption, everyone has to be in attainment?

R. Relatively yes.

S. Because you said in the afternoon yesterday that not everyone will be in attainment only a small part will be, so how can we say?

R. I was not speaking about the complete redemption.

S. What did you say about it?

R. In the complete redemption, it says they shall all know me from the least of them to the great of them.

S. How can we explain that we are the last generation, and it is so dark?

R. We are not the last generation; we are on the way to it.

S. We are not the last generation?

R. No.

10. S. (19:24) He said yesterday that it is actually an internal article and not to try to see the redemption of the land but more of the desires and he does mention judges that need to judge in a good way, we also talked about it in the first article. I'd like to scrutinize the article we read that there is a truthful judge, but it still works on reward and the will to receive?

R. Why are you confusing us?

S. I want to know if it is our work to put a judge, as he says here, that we need a judge that will bring us ahead, forward, a step ahead.

R. We will get to it and then decide that we need a judge and what kind of judge we will need.

11. S. (20:25) He says that economic independence brings redemption. I don’t see Israel depending on anyone, they make decisions on their own.

R. That is incorrect, we are totally dependent on others on external forces.

Reading Continues: (21:01) “It Follows that our Generation is the Generation of the Days of the Messiah...”

12. R. (22:16) This is what we are lacking, the work Lishma, for her sake, in a complete way.

Reading Continues: (22:26)

13. R. (22:43) This is truly the complete thing.

Reading Continues: (22:49)

14. R. (29:13) We are lacking being a little tighter together with each other, internally.

Reading Continues: (29:20) “When a Person Sees that the Environment…”

15. R. (30:37) These are basically the two states that we can be in, either we perform some actions, but intend to draw benefit from ourselves from them. This is usually so, or we can rise to a level where we can bestow upon the Creator.
