Lesson No. 1. The Joy in the Gathering
1. Rav’s Introduction: Dear friends, men and women, I'm very happy to begin the First World Virtual Congress for all concerned in their heart, to get to know the purpose of life, discover the upper force and to advance to the purpose of creation. I'm glad that more than 6,000 people have joined us and I'm sure more and more are online to register and to join us in lessons, conversations, and what we're going to do here, our purpose, our goal is with the Creator. We are in the ego of the field that the Creator has created. How can we establish in this field, some area for a new force, the force to bestow. That's it. Just as they say about the action of the Creator that it's a shape within a shape and He establishes a will to bestow in the will to receive. The only thing is He does it according to how much we prepare for it, ask for it, pray for it to happen, and that's basically our work. We talked a lot about it and we will talk more. I hope that in this Congress we will start to practically start feeling how it is within connection between us. How is it that we really want to rise above the will to receive and to grow further away from it and we give a place to the Creator to reveal between us a desire to bestow and so we will advance towards our special eternal goal.
We understand that our whole work is the biggest and the only thing a person has to do in this world; discover the upper force, discover the creation that He created and so to advance with this source goal. The main thing in the attainment of the goal begins with that we don't forget that we can only attain it in the right connection between us. That's where we establish a place where we can all be as a small egoist, one for each other, we want to establish a place for the Creator to reveal the quality of the bestowal, the quality of love between us and from us to Him, from love of other beings to the love of the Creator. What we learn and that's why this is our goal because this is the highest and most special, sacred goal that exists in reality, so we are in great joy with you for having an opportunity to ascribe ourselves to the revelation of the Creator, to the created being in this world. We hope that we will discover Him to all the created beings and we will reach not only the beginning of the last generation that we open up with you but rather the end of the last generation as well where the Creator will be revealed in the world and He and His name will be one, that's how it will be revealed to everyone so we have great joy in our gathering.
It's not simply some Nefesh or by chance but rather happiness in our connection. We are connected to a certain extent, we want to attain such a connection, such a practical connection that will be suitable for the revelation of the Creator and that's how we will advance. We have to see how we can organize ourselves as well, one lesson at a time and by that I'm asking for your participation. We are all participants and from above is the upper light so if you think there is some place where we should change the lessons, the questions and answers, the workshop and also of course women are with more than half of the people with us are women almost 60% so we are very happy that they are with us together. Always with all the different shapes of connection and the flow of the lessons and even the recesses between the lessons, we want to get feedback for it all and accordingly, we can start during the Congress, start organizing ourselves. Besides the fact that of course from that we will learn how we should organize the upcoming Congresses, just like we're having this one, we can have a few more Congresses every year. That's how we will advance from one Congress to another. The general year has according to the wisdom of Kabbalah has four new years, Rosh Hashanah, so we can do such a Congress every three months and it will push us forward and that's how we will advance. Now let's go back to the text and accordingly we will see questions answers, workshops we'll see according to what we will feel according to our spirit usually the first lesson is a lesson where nothing much is happening, usually, we used to have this evening lesson where we went abroad to Congresses and the next day there is more of a feeling and the right flow.

2. R. This means that we need to understand that only according to the recognition of the greatness of the Creator we will have the force to bestow and according to the force of bestowal that will awaken in us will be able to discover the Creator according to the equivalence of form with Him. That's why the main thing is to be impressed by our friends, none of us has a desire, a tendency to discover the Creator sufficient in order to do it but if we connect together and the more we bestow and the more contact we have, the more envy will have. Having envy is the main thing, giving examples to each other even though a person doesn't want but he has to set an example because of society, show an example that he is going towards the goal, that's a must, each and everyone has to do it. If we see any friends who are lazy here, we have to try to show an example how we do that, not with many words just so they will see that we are trying to discover a direction towards the Creator as much as we can and even more than what we can above our desires and our ability. So if everyone helps his friends, we can help advance with everyone showing an example to my friends how much I am drawn to the goal. How much our spiritual goal is important for me, that is truly a must for each and every one to do that. Besides that the thing is that, what we prepare between ourselves is a place for Ibur conception. When we go to connect to such an extent, the Creator will start being conceived in us, meaning that we will be the will to receive and the Creator after the restriction, the screen, the reflected light and all He will start being conceived in us, being established in us, and this is why we need every time to connect to each other, to feel from one lesson to the other how much we unite, how much by that we want to have a place to reveal the Creator between us and for that we will expect that.

3. R. The summary is simple, every entry of mind to spirituality is to the extent that I enter, that I insert my effort into the ten because the group being just a group of people becomes something, a structure that is inclusive that is connected by a few people together in a way that there is a connection between them and it says if a network is made between them, and this network is made entirely of their yearning to discover the Creator in the connection between them. Slowly, slowly in the connection they start feeling, first of all they start feeling that there is a connection, there are threads that come out of each and everyone to everyone else so from this network, they have to discover a ten. Later from this network of the yearning to discover the Creator, they need to feel how much the Creator has really started to be established in this network. It's like an embryo in the womb that starts growing, we learn this in the lessons about conception, and that's basically the shape that we should reach. Meaning before us there are actually a few clear steps to connect between us in a ten, in such a clear connection that where each and every one is in this connection and it's clear to us that even the threads of this connection lies between each and every one and are one thing. It's really like this symbol of the Congress, logo of the Congress, may be a bit different but all in all that is it should be clear by that. The main thing that by that we are preparing a place for the Creator to be revealed like an embryo and his mother, that's how the Creator is revealed in our desire. That inner network we try to give Him space first of all, He prepares the place for Him called the will to bestow from all of our desires that are in the meantime in order to receive even though they are aimed at the connection between us but in this network, He will establish a desire to bestow and we will start to be revealed bit by bit there more and more, till we will feel that the Creator is truly in the connection between us. Let's hope we're going to reach that, we're not far away from it, we have a real opportunity to do it even within the Congress, just don't let go of the shape we have to discover between us. We have so many groups and tens so be sure that everyone who does an action in his ten we are strengthening us and by that we advance.

Yes that's how it's written in the Zohar it's not an article Rabash or Baal HaSulam it is the Zohar itself it says that that means that the Shechina, Divinity or the Creator builds this place that will later be revealed only when a person works there with joy. Because if he's still in sorrow against his will to receive, when he fights it and he's sorry, this means that he still depends on his will to receive, he doesn't really rise above it, rising above his ego is already giving him a field of joy and that's how he advances, comes closer to the revelation of the Creator.

5. R. Meaning to the extent that we in the connection between us want to be in the participation in connection, happy about us to reveal the connection between us in order to bestow, between us and to the Creator, to the extent that we are in it and we are in high spirits. Accordingly we are closer to the quality of the Creator. Then He can reveal the place between us and then Himself there. There is a verse that says that you should serve the Creator with joy. It's a very important condition, it is essential because it's impossible for a person to come closer to spirituality while crying. If he's crying, it's a sign that he's not yet out of his ego.
6. S. (24:00) We can be happy when we're in prayer throughout the convention can we be?
R. First of all coming to the Congress should make us happy because it's a special thing that the Creator gave us an opportunity to gather with such quantities and such a turmoil in the world, losing its direction, free falling from all those hills and all those great goals they wanted to attain. Now they understand it's not anything at all, you can attain nothing, you can achieve nothing. You can't even advance towards that, now according to what the sages, according to the smart people living in the world, they say even you don't know what's going to happen no one knows where we're headed to and that's clear to everyone. That's why it's a problem and we have to be aware that when people are desperate, they’re helpless, they have no hope. We don't yet know how we're going to come out of this pandemic. Even though the true state, the true shape of the world is not being revealed to us, it will be revealed and we will see what we will come to and all of humanity will come down to levels that are completely different than we are in now. Levels of life of connection and we have to go forward and have joy because we know why it all happens who is doing it this way, the Creator wants to help all of humanity advance towards connection. Here we specifically want, we want actually to try to explain to everyone that this state is the most correct state for connection, that whatever happens in humanity it doesn't matter what shape is happening, we're advancing because of it. Only to a state that we are connected in the best, fastest way, because in sanctity you only advance you only raised and not decreased, that's how we should see it especially in the last generation.
7. S. (27:31) We all are so filled with joy now and there are tears in our eyes from joy, you say about this joy, what can you say about these feelings right now?
R. I'm very happy, I just got the note now that we are connected only in our network. I'm not talking about other kinds of connections, with more than 7,000 participants. We never had such numbers in any convention and I'm very happy we are going into the serious connection that we can feel, understand and speak about the purpose of connection and how it should take part in us. I really hope that we're going to study and not only study we will realize the connection in a way that will start discovering the place that the Creator can be revealed between us. The shape we establish for Him and all that on the path and we're going to talk about it here and we're going to attain it, so in the meantime the first lesson is like a starter, like a preface, a beginning we need to see how we're getting organized, how we get to know each other, how we know how to ask and to speak between us. That's how it's going to happen, very well.
8. S. (29:30) On one hand there's this great yearning for this new connection that you're presenting, that you're depicting to us on the other hand they are impressions of old flavor of connections that we had, how do you come into it pure and clean to feel the official connection?
R. We had all kinds of egoistic connections and various shapes. Now we're talking about the connection that is completely different in it's quality. That's why there's no problem here. We have to relate to what we're doing now like a new vessel. That if I don't make an inner connection, a heartfelt connection from one heart to another between the friend if I won't establish the network of connection to this way between us, I won't have room to reveal the Creator. That's why I don't look at my friends about what we used to have, what we had or what we have corporeally that doesn't matter to me, what does matter to me is how I accept them in a spiritual way as spiritual partners of mine. Not according to the body or anything corporeal it doesn't matter at all. Maybe they push me away, they're not pleasant to me but they want the same as I do, that's why I am specifically with them, I'll have to attain this goal, that's how the Creator organized this together just as we explained in the article The Arvut. That this is how we advance towards Him, if I want to discover the Creator, to discover my soul, to discover the complete eternal world and to determine my place in it, that's here now, we can do it, this world is the opportunity for it. So let's not miss this opportunity, let's give all our forces we already have in this Congress to reach a state that we can discover the soul and in it we can discover the Creator.
9. S. (32:15) ....
R. Listen when we talked to Rabash and he told me about Baal HaSulam, how much he wanted people to come to study and he was willing to talk to stone. It doesn't matter, just that someone will hear but no one wanted to hear. Now we're talking about the beginning of the 20th century. Today we reached a state that suddenly people and groups from all over Earth are being revealed to us and that's simply the time is right for it, it's not us, it's the time. That's what we need all of us, what we need in our association we have to connect ourselves more and more to that goal each one acts in the ten, each one thinks about the rest of the tens around us and that's how we come to a very strong force, a very big force. Both the general force when we say 7,000 participants but also a personal one which is each and every ten and this is how we certainly may awaken the Creator to be revealed, how to help us reveal Him according to the equivalence of form and that's how we will advance. I have no doubt about it. We can do it, you just have to understand that 7,000 people is 700 tens and that's much more than that, it's a tremendous force. That's why only our work, it's only that our work is that not forget that we are in this strong force and every day more and more we will connect, this whole movement to Bnei Baruch will spread out and grow. You're going to have to hold it, manage it to shake it and to discover this way, that wer ae hoping that during this Congress will all start feeling, how the Creator is being revealed in the created beings.
10. S. (35:48) Came with great expectations and joy but the moment the Convention began, I remained kind of empty, empty, completely. Do I need to preserve that state and create some artificial joy, to try to preserve that state or should I try to emerge from this state of emptiness?
R. If you enter a new state, you always feel that you are empty. You have nothing to say and who are you, why are you here, what are you here, or what's going on here? So you don't know anything, you're not connected to what's going on in this event. That's under the condition that you're in new qualities and that's very nice if the re-entry into a new state. Here we have to do all the actions that are required of us until we discover ourselves in the form of the conception and beyond that's how it is.
11. S. (37:09) Every ten, we are here to exist and how do we feel this glory in ten?
R. Only by trying to organize a ten accordingly we can get to know the Creator and His greatness. There is no other form. I don't see anything new in this question. We just talked about it now. You can't get to know the Creator if you're not in a ten, by letting go of your will to receive and wanting to relate to your friends in the will to bestow, by that you are building, that's the meaning of the verse you have made me. By that we make ourselves the shape that will be called the Creator, BoReh “Come and See”. That’s how we do it. To let go of the “will to receive” and to organize between us connections of the will to bestow in mutual bestowal, mutual connection. Then this mutual way when we let go of the will to receive and start having a will to bestow between us, by that we're starting to establish the Creator. The Creator in Hebrew means, “come and see” and that's how He will be revealed between us.

12. R. WSQ. (41:00) Now we’re gonna have a workshop. Both, man and women. Big tens, small tens, even if it’s two people. If you're together in a connection, you can also have a workshop. A workshop is such;
What connections between us should we have in order to start building a place where we can reveal the Creator? What connections between us should we have or build and keep, so that we can later reveal in it, in this place, in the connection, in these connections to reveal the Creator?
13. R. WSQ. (47:10) By what, how do I awaken the friends so that they will be inspired and advance even more to creating a place for the revelation of the Creator? How do I bestow to the friends practically, not just words around, but how do I work on this even now and all the time in order to awaken the friends, to stabilize between us a place for the revelation of the Creator? What do I do about this?
14. R. WSQ. (50:58) What nevertheless in the convention practically do I show friends that I am constantly concerned with the connection between us? During these three days, how am I caring, that I am showing friends that I care only for the connection between us, but not with words, but practically, what can I do?
15. R. WSQ. (52:41) How can we depict to ourselves that the Creator is being revealed between us? In each one He cannot be revealed, He can be revealed only in the collection of inclinations towards mutual bestowal between us. How can we depict this? How can we depict the Creator being revealed in the relation of bestowal between us?
16. S. (55:01) This vessel that He is preparing, what you talked about is this Congress, His answer to our call? Does He come before us or should we answer first His deficiency?
R. I don't know what you mean, what’s proceeding, what's the answer to it. I just know one thing, that if we try to create a connection between us that certainly these connections will be somewhat similar to the forces of bestowal then in those forces which we draw upon one another. The Creator can already begin to be revealed at least on the degree of Nefesh, the soul. Meaning we can already build something for the revelation of the Upper Force. All together this is according to the measure of connection between us, the manner of the connection between us, the power of the connection between us. It is defined only according to the connections between us. There is no other possibility to reveal the Creator, you need to create a network of connection, a net of connection between us in which He can be revealed.
This is what we need to also convince ourselves that this is how we are building it, that is what the shattering was, that it was a network, it was a net and it broke. We need to re-establish it. How? What's the difference between what it was and that which we need to reconstruct? Because when we re-erect it against our egos, as that power that the Creator entered into the connection between all the desires, that power became a contradictive thing towards connection. Because our ego, called “I have created the evil inclination” and in return we want to come and build a connection between us all and then by this the Creator is revealed. This is already enough place, enough strain between the positive and the negative, between the will to receive and the will to bestow, such that the Creator can be revealed. He can begin to be revealed in contradictions, upon the contradictions of these two forces. Of receiving and bestowing.
Otherwise the creatures cannot reveal Him, otherwise the created beings would be in the form of Adam HaRishon like it was, which for him he didn't know or understand what was happening to him. This is called Adam HaRishon prior to this sin. That’s a net that cannot reveal anything. Therefore, for us to reveal Him, we need that desire that was created in the shattering and to make it in order to bestow and by this we discover in the gap between the will to receive, which is egotistical, that was created during the shattering, and the desire to bestow that we will require after the shattering in correction and in the gaps between them we will discover, reveal the Creator between the plus and minus. The more there is a plus and minus between them that’s how it is in this kind of form will be revealed. This is how we will reveal Him more and more between the minus and the plus.
S. How during the Congress can we show each other that we are concerned about this connection system practically?
R. In all kinds of ways. It could be that you're also meeting physically so also by that and all kinds of other ways where you are participating in the way, you talk between you, the main thing is that each of you needs to think really well that each and every word that he speaks between the friends needs to awaken and then pass to the friends his impression, his excitement by him being connected with them and in this connection he is truly inclined towards waiting for the Creator to be revealed.
17. S. (01:00:09) This happiness that we should pass on to the ten is that the spark that enables the connection and if it is so what will be the fuel to keep going with this connection with time?
R. That we care, one will help his friend, that we care that all of us to be in this enthusiasm and if someone falls, immediately we try to help him rise back up and pull ourselves more and more forward through mutual bestowal that is increasing and in this way we build this net until we start to discover in this net the Ubar, the fetus, the network becomes the place for conception and and here we discover the force of bestowal that starts to take place in the network of connection between us which is called the Creator, this is called, “you made Me”. Everything needs to be clarified in a very simple manner, all the confusions come from a misunderstanding, the more we understand everything becomes simpler. There are more refinements when it comes to the feeling in the scrutinies but the picture is clarified more and more until the Upper Light fills all of reality.
18. S. (01:02:17) What's written that one who wants to walk on the path of bestowal has to be happy, should we act as if we're happy?
R. Yes, we need to constantly play that joy, even if it's not so happy and if we have all kinds of states like this and that sometimes we have states that we can't overcome, I have even seen Rabash in such states that he couldn't overcome and then he didn't want me to even see him that way, but that happens to each and everyone. To the greatest Kabbalists, but usually we need to try to constantly raise ourselves from the state we are in even higher. Meaning, it doesn't matter what state I'm in, it could be a good state, but I want to be in an even better state, that inclination needs to be constant. You should write that down and try to not forget this, this is a must for us to behave this way.

R. This is what we're talking about right now and you're asking us about what we're talking about, how we build the network which is such we would expect the revelation of the Creator.
S. Can you describe it in your words, what do you feel the Creator is revealed there?
R. A force of bestowal between us.
21. S. (01:05:30) Can this network exist between two friends? How many friends should there be? Is there a minimum?
R. This net can be between two friends but it's best to be between ten, no more than ten and no less than two.
22. S. (01:06:04) .....
R. You have to play it all the way to the end, as much as you can rise above your state and act as being in a state that is good on one hand, on the other hand if you really see that you're not capable of doing anything, then you need to tell your friends and ask for help. But this is only after you tried all that's possible.
23. S. (01:07:00) I've learned that the Creator is the force of love, so if I tell a friend in my ten that I love you and I inside, I feel warm in my chest, is that considered the revelation of the Creator?
R. No, that's not the revelation of the Creator. You might need to go and have a doctor check your heart maybe you have a problem, but that's not the revelation of the Creator whatsoever. You didn't attain the force of the bestowal between you and your friend, how can you reveal the Creator? First of all you need to attain bestowal to friends and not to one but two friends and then inside that tendency towards the friends and when you feel that they too are relating to you this way, then in this net you begin to reveal the Creator which this talks about. There's no place for imaginations here.
24. S. (01:08:21) It turns out that we create and rehabilitate the law of love that was based on the quality of bestowal and from this joy, is it composing the total form?
R. Let's say yes, we'll see later that it expands more and more.
25. S. (01:09:09) When we connect and come to states of joy and thanks how do we use such states as records to bring it as much closer to propel us to a higher connection?
R. Gratitude, it shall awaken you to a higher connection, it's self-gratitude itself.
26. S. (01:09:51) We had a great preparation for the Congress but now there is a feeling of rejection. I don't want anything, I'm not focused. What should I do?
R. First of all you need to turn in for them to help you come out of this state, that is one thing. The second thing is that fact that you feel from the beginning of the Convention in such a state that I already talked about that it is a very natural thing and it just points to the beginning of a new state therefore you should rejoice that you have not a good state. 27. S. (01:11:36) In this great Congress should we be afraid that the happiness from our connection is egoistic?
R. For the time being yes there is a lot of our ego in this but nevertheless we are on the path even though we are all still immersed in our egoistic desire as Rabash writes but we are happy that we are on the path and we can come to it somewhere where he writes about “one will help his friend: in his first articles, that he wrote therefore the joy is nevertheless joy of Holiness, of Kedusha because we yearn for Kedusha and the fact that we're not yet in it we still aim ourselves in that direction as much as possible. The child when he starts to grow he still knows nothing of what he will be and what nevertheless he grows and day after day advances. I hope that we in this Convention will begin to feel spiritual discernment, actual spiritual discernments.
28. S. (01:13:15) How to transmit happiness from the expectation of the revelation of the Creator and also to fill the joy of the friends and listen to you at the same time?
R. That I don't know, one needs to be joy and of course, with that to open someone's ears and heart and the brain also in order to absorb everything that's between us in order to rejoice the heart even more by that.
29. S. (01:14:16) Is it possible to see that in the connection between technologic means like Zoom or Galaxy is that some training from the Creator too?
R. No, no, there is no connection between our connections and the technological connections, completely not, there is no relationship between them.
S. The connection between us, I'm talking about the connection between us that raises us to a stronger stage so that even if we are far away we are more connected spiritually.
R. No, these are means that are given to us of this world so that we will be able to come to the vessel of the last generation but it is not that there is in the different forms of connections anything spiritual, no, think only about how to come to the feeling that the friends are in your heart.
30. S. (01:15:36) In this feeling that I have for the friends of the work, is that the revelation of the Creator? If I understand, it may be imagination, it's not the revelation of the Creator?
R. We can be certain that we will reveal the Creator out of him being revealed in our desires, as we establish ourselves, in the connections between us and the desire to bestow to one another and then we stabilize between us in our tens, a relation such a net of giving, relations, mutual help, something that we feel that it moves from one heart to another and then by that, in this relation we discovered something new. That what is being revealed will be revealed to us that it's the Creator, it's a reality of the bestowal, the force of bestowal that is revealed in this network of connections between us.
31. S. (01:17:17) What is the force that protects us when we are in attack?
R. The protective force, we don't have many forces, we only have one force, the force of the Creator which is negative on one hand, which is called I have created evil inclinations and the force of the Creator which is on the other side which is thought, positive, which is His, the force of good. These two forces come to us from the Creator and we're in the middle, yes, we are as the created beings included of these two forces and if we define the force of positive above the force of negative, we discover also the source of this negative force which is the Creator. That's it, more than that no we have no other forces but to define, depict that He is the force that we want to control us.
32. S. (01:18:39) What fear we have in the beginning of the Congress there's happiness from receiving and happiness from bestowal, should we stay between the two or just be happy connecting between?
R. Also when I associate myself with some very big flow that is all taking us to the purpose of creation the end of correction, certainly belonging to that, being associated with that, even though I can't yet for the time being participate in a more essential meaningful way, it nevertheless filled me, yes.
33. S. (01:19:37) In order to reveal the Creator, is it more important to listen to friends or should I speak and how to balance these two?
R. I need to see how friends are talking about the connection between us and I also need to talk in such a way that I am adding to that positive flow towards the goal, that's how it is.
34. S. (01:20:31) When a friend speaks, he asks a question, sometimes it goes into your heart but can I pass it through in the ten between us and the work between us during the lesson?
R. Yes, of course you can move the positive impression between friends.
S. From heart to heart?
R. Yes, between you all, that you're receiving it from one and passing it to another.
35. S. (01:21:29) The ten is composed of many qualities of the Creator. How can we make efforts to attain those qualities?
R. We talk about this all the time, how will we make this effort, we need to effort in acquiring the qualities of bestowal upon the qualities of reception, by talking about this, by being impressed from the articles of the Kabbalists and then the upper light by us wanting, we are asking for it to bestow upon us and bring us the quality of bestowal.
36. S. (01:22:20) The pleasure and the joy are connected with the desire to work for the Creator and have no connection whether I feel good or bad, so is it just a decision that I need to take?
R. Let's leave this question towards the end of the Convention. In two days ask me if that question is still relevant and I will answer you.
37. S. (01:23:32) What exactly should we feel in the connection with the friends?
R. You need to feel that you were dependent on one another and if you don't feel, then at least that's what Kabbalists write that you need to feel it that way so you need to try to feel how we are connected to one another. Why?
