108. Thus far, it is been explained how the three Roshim of Atik grip each other, how Dikna grips Atik, and how AVI grip the Dikna. From here on, they are matters in ZA that were not revealed in the Idra Raba, those that were concealed within my heart, and were not corrected there. Now they have been corrected and revealed, and all of them are concealed matters, and they are all clear. Happy am I and happy are those who inherit this inheritance, as it is written, “Happy is the people for which it is so.”
109. AVI are gripped to Atik and to the Dikna that was corrected, since they are hanging from the Moach that is more concealed than all that are concealed, and they are gripped to it. When they look at my words, they will see that everything was, and will be Atik, and all the corrections are in it. AVI come out from that concealed Moach and were incorporated in Mazla, and they are dependent on it and grip to it. ZA depends on and grips holy Atik, and the matters have already been explained in the Idra Raba.
Happy is he who entered in Hochma [wisdom] and emerged from it in wholeness, and knows the ways for he will not stray right or left, but rather on the middle line. One who did not enter and come out in wholeness, it is better for him if he were not created, and it is written, “For the ways of the Lord are straight.”
110. All my life, I have been looking at the verse where it is written, “My soul is glorified in the Lord; the humble will hear and be glad.” And now the whole verse comes true. “My soul is glorified in the Lord,” since my soul is gripped to Him, blazes in Him, adheres to him and exerts, and in this exertion, it shall rise to its place. “The humble will hear and be glad.” All those righteous ones and all the members of the holy seminary, and the righteous who have now come with the Shechina [Divinity], they all hear my words and are glad. This is why it is written, “Magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.”
111. It is written, “And these are the kings that reigned in the Land of Edom.” It is written, “For behold, the kings convened; they passed together.” Convened in the Land of Edom, in the place where the judgments grip. “They passed tougher,” as it is written, “And he died, and was king under him.” “They saw and were astounded; they fled in terror,” since they did not exist in their place, but rather broke and died because the corrections of the king have not yet been corrected, and the holy city, Malchut, and its walls, have not been around.
112. It is written, “As we heard, so we saw,” since not everyone existed, and Malchut exists now in the male who was with her, as it is written, “And Hadar reigned after him, and the name of his city was Pa’u, and the name of his wife, Mehitav’el, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mey Zahav.”
The breaking of the vessels was because ZAT were still not corrected with the correction of three lines, especially the correction of the middle line, which unites right and left and sustains the illumination of both of them in a way that the right, the illumination of Hesed, will shine from above downward, and the left, the illumination of Hochma, will shine from below upward. Since that correction of the middle line still did not exist, the illumination of Hochma on the left was drawn from above downward, from Atzilut to BYA.
Hence, they did not exist, but broke and died, since the corrections of the king have still not been corrected, for the correction of ZA in the middle line have still not been corrected and the Hochma of the left was drawn from above to BYA. This is why they died.
For this reason, afterwards, in the world of correction, when the correction of the middle line took place—that the left will shine only from below upward—it is considered that the illumination of Hochma existed only in a female light, from above downward, and not in male light, from above downward. You find that all those kings of the world of Nekudim that were broken and died, were still not established as they ruled before, since the male light have not been corrected by the middle line, but only the female light.
This is why it was said that they all did not exist, that all the kings of Nekudim that used the illumination of Hochma in the male light, from above downward, did not exist in the world of correction. Malchut that exists in the world of correction will shine in illumination of Hochma as is her way with the female light, from below upward, through the force of the middle line, which corrected the light of the left that it will shine so from above downward with the female light.
113. “And Hader reigned after him,” Yesod, which is called Etz Hadar [citrus tree], as it is written, “the fruit of a citrus tree.” Malchut is called “fruit,” and Yesod, a “citrus tree.” “And the name of his wife was Mehitavel,” as it is written, “palms” [of dates], which is Yesod. It is named in plural form, dates, as it is written, “A righteous shall blossom like a date [tree],” which does not blossom without the Nukva, since date is male and female.
This is why it is written about it, “And the name of his wife was Mehitavel. Malchut is called “daughter of Matred,” a daughter from the place where everyone troubles themselves to obtain, called “father,” Hochma. It is written, “A human being does not know its value and will not be found in the land of the living, which everyone troubles themselves to obtain.
A daughter to mother, Bina, from whose side judgments awaken, which trouble everyone. This is why she is called “daughter of Matred.” “Daughter of Mey Zahav” is because she suckles from two sides which shine in two manners, in Hesed and in judgment, from the right and from the left, where the right is Hesed, Mey, and the left is Hochma, Zahav, and this is Mey Zahav.
114. Before the world was created, they did not notice the face-to-face. This is why the first worlds, the seven Melachim [kings] of Nekudim, were ruined; they broke and died. The first worlds were done without correction, and that king who was not in correction is called flickers, sparks, whose kingship and control were like the illumination of the spark, which burns out right away and is gone. It is like that craftsman, when he strikes the hammer with an iron tool, it elicits sparks to every direction.
These sparks that come out, come out blazing and shining, and immediately burn out. They are called the “first worlds,” and because of it, they were ruined and did not persist until holy Atik was established and the craftsman came out to his craft.
