92. It is written, “For the Lord is a God of knowledge.” “Knowledge” is in plural form [in Hebrew] since there are three De'ot [pl. of Daat] in ZA: 1) The Moach of Daat, since in Daat, all the palaces are filled, as it is written, “By knowledge, the rooms are filled. 2) Opposite that, there is another Daat, which is not revealed but walks in it in hiding and is incorporated in it. 3) The Daat that shines in Mochin and expands throughout the Moach, but not to the Guf.
There are two kinds of HBD in ZA: HBD from upper AVI and HBD from YESHSUT. For this reason, there are two kinds of Daat in him. Daat from upper AVI is the hidden Daat because AVI are hidden, since the Yod never exits their Avir. The Daat from YESHSUT is the revealed Daat since in YESHSUT, the Yod exits the Avir and the Hochma is revealed in it. However, that Daat, too, is revealed only in the Rosh of ZA, and does not expand to the Guf.
However, that Daat of YESHSUT consists of three lines HBD in itself, where the two upper lines, his HB, remain in the Rosh, and the middle line, Daat of Daat, the revealed one, is the Daat that expands to the Guf, as it is written, “By knowledge, the rooms are filled.” Thus, there are three De'ot in ZA: 1) the hidden Daat, 2) the Daat that is revealed in the Rosh of ZA and does not expand to the Guf, 3) the Daat that expands to the Guf.
93. “For the Lord is a God of knowledge [De'ot].” Do not pronounce it De'ot but Edut [testimony], since He is the testimony of all, a testimony of two parts that contain within them HB, as it is written, “He established a testimony in Jacob,” since ZA, Jacob, is the Daat that includes HB.
94. Everyone are included in AVI: YESHSUT, ZA, and Malchut. Everything is hidden in them, for when they are incorporated in AVI, they are concealed and hidden like AVI. They are concealed and incorporated in the holy Mazal, in Dikna of the most ancient of all that are ancient, AA. They are concealed in him when they clothe AA from the Peh to the Chazeh. They are incorporated in him when they are incorporated in his Dikna. Everything is Atik, and Atik is everything, since all the Partzufim—AVI, YESHSUT, and ZON—are merely garments.
95. All the things in the Idra Raba are beautiful, and all are holy matters, matters that do not stray to the right or to the left. They are all hidden things, which are revealed to those who entered in wisdom and came out of it in wholeness. So are all the secrets, they are revealed only to those who came in and went out. Until now, these matters I have revealed here have been hidden, since I feared revealing them, and now they have been revealed.
It is revealed to holy Atik, for I did not do this for my own glory or for the glory of my father’s house. Rather, I did this in order not to enter His hall in shame, for I saw that the Creator and all those true righteous who are here, they all agreed with my revealing them, since I saw that they were all happy with this joy of mine. They are all invited to my joy in that world; happy am I.
96. Rabbi Shimon finished that word, raised his eyes and wept and laughed. He wanted to reveal one thing. He said, “My whole life, I regretted this matter—to reveal it—and now they do not give me permission. He braced himself and sat, and his lips were whispering. He bowed three times, and no person could look at his place, much less at him. He said, “Mouth, mouth, you have been rewarded with all this, and your streams have not run dry; your fountain comes out and does not stop; it is about you that we say ‘And a river comes out of Eden,’ and it is written, ‘And like a spring of water whose water never ceases.’
97. “Now I testify about me that all the days I have been standing in the world, I longed to see this day when I would have permission to reveal the secrets, and I did not succeed, except for now, since this day is crowned by this crown of revealing secrets. And now I want to reveal matters before the Creator, since all the secrets I reveal are crowned in my head, and it will not be long before this day comes to its place in that world, like another day, since this whole day is in my possession, and not more. Now I am beginning to reveal mattes so I do not enter the next world in shame. Behold, I begin to speak.”
