Can an Executioner be Righteous?

29. dub 2021
Egyptian media announced the death of Hussein Al Qarni, the most prolific executioner. Over his 20-year career, he conducted 1,070 death penalties by hanging. He was called a righteous person in his life. In an interview, Hussein Al Qarni admitted to loving his work but that it stood in the way of his personal life. Is it possible to love such a job? Why does such a profession exist according to the Torah? Indeed, there is a midwife on one side, death on the other, and an executioner in the middle. If things don’t work out, the executioner puts an end to it all. The laws provide a need for an executioner. The desire to be an executioner, a judge, a butcher, or a surgeon exists according to the root of our souls, i.e. within a program of correcting desires that the Creator created. There is no escape from it. No matter how you might try to twist and turn it, afterward, when you are given a chance to see it, you will see that there is no free choice. No one can be held accountable. Everything is included in the general system. If you’re destined to become an executioner, then you’ll become an executioner. An executioner can be a righteous person. It is simply a job, the same as a butcher or a chef, or any other profession. An executioner carries out the directives of society to shield it from its perceived evils. Therefore, we must treat executioners as people performing major corrections in the world. If one is destined to come to the realization of his soul because of an ad, or a video clip, or a lesson then he’ll come to this realization. This wisdom can be studied by a person working in any profession, as long as his actions bring the world to a greater balance.
