"Mis'hak (Play)" - Selected Excerpts from the Sources

1. Rav’s Introduction: We see that in the wisdom of Kabbalah there are these definitions that are not quite similar to what we use in this world, playing or acting is actually a transition, this is what the game of playing is. Just like a cat as it jumps and it looks and checks itself how will it now jump and only then it jumps. So, the whole preparation, everything that it imagines to itself all that it does is a game, it is playing that now it is going to do something, playing and acting is how we envision the next state. This is why our whole life should really be a game, that we are yearning for connection between us and in the connection between us to discover the Creator to reach the purpose of our existence in life, complete eternal life. It is all felt and presented by the game, by acting so just like in this life as we play as children, we grow, this is also in our spiritual life. However, there we need to take this game in our hands and understand what is going on and how we can in this game as partners of the Creator, because without playing we cannot get closer to him and become his partners but as much as we depict ourselves more as being closer to the Creator so we understand what the game really is. Here it turns out that we should constantly play, a person should play with himself, with the group with the Creator, and the Creator also plays with the whale with the whole of creation, it says that the whale that you have created to play with. 

This is how we reach by this playing, to a state called the meal of the whale that we all see that the whole of humanity is sitting around this big table together with the Creator and we are in the meal of the whale. We eat it, that well, we played with it and we used it in order to advance to become Adam, to become similar to the Creator and then we and him are truly incorporated as one then this whole whale, the whole of creation, is for our correct usage is called the meal of the whales the end of correction. This is why we just have to depict this matter increasingly more correctly each time and most importantly is the depiction of this world of our life is that we are in the state of confusion each time, and we see how the world is now confused. Out of that by being in this state we detect each time from zero, from that form of confusion that we have no more but rather if I want to be connected to the source of creation, to the purpose of creation to hold on to the anchor or the rope, something that can save me on the path it is only if I I'm connected to the group. 

Through the group I have a connection with the Creator and this is why my work is truly when I get up in the morning, let's say sometimes I get such questions, what should I do? If I get up in the morning confused and dazed and I don't want anything, I feel like quitting, I feel like sleeping more, that is the state precisely how it needs to be. There will be no getting used to it if I will get used to jumping out of bed and running to some spiritual work then it is not me, it is somebody who is awakening from above, but I always value these states where I hardly get up and I am all foggy, I don't know who, what, where I am and what should I do, from such states of fogginess and disconnection, I bit by bit start to think. Like the story about the Baal Shem Tov that he asked of his assistant, his students tell me if you don't know what to say just say the Aleph Bet and then by that bit by bit from afar, he begins to wake up, to recover reaching adhesion. This is how it is with us each and every morning we should seemingly wake up from death, from complete disconnection and renew it. 

This is why when I get up and I have no connection with anything in life, truly I am like a beast I can hardly even depict myself as a beast. I am very happy that I am in such a state that truly they took away from me everything that I had before both my connection with the Creator and with the study, with everything. All I start to remember is but I need to find who I am, what am I, where am I directed who should I be connected with and then I recall all of these things depend on some Creator and the Creator is far away, who is He and what is He, I have no feeling towards him, no direction of thought. But I remember that he is in the center of the 10, so who is the 10 what are they and I begin to somehow feel my way to assemble them, to have them before me and depict them until I reach such work in my mind in my brain and later on in my emotion that this is what I need is to find a connection with them. Through them I will be in contact with the Creator and with the world and this is why my whole status, the whole of me is how much I am in the 10 and I rely on them and later on even how can I bestow to them and through them to the Creator. Through Him to the whole world. 

Therefore, the entire picture that awakens before me how I exist in reality where I am, how I can influence the whole of reality through the 10 and through the Creator and the world while all of this becomes realized in the 10, in my group. This connection that I get from the moment that I get up and I see myself truly disconnected from everything, less than a beast even, truly, it is in my favor. This is how I renew my attitude to Creation, the Creator and most importantly to the 10. In that way we should try to see these states, this is why there is no bad state or good state in a person rather it is always a new state. The most important is that there is a certain atmosphere in the group that will not let the person fall entirely but rather that he feels himself disconnected, that he was left alone, even in some current that is taking him out of everything in life, it is all nice and good for him to have it and is influencing us.  We never the last should prepare in advance some connection with the 10 and the group so that I feel myself that I am now getting back to it. Through it this is the small system of Adam HaRishon, that in the lowest corporeal form it was given to me and I must get hold of it. Just like a baby who is holding on to a beloved toy of his and he is attached to it, we know that he can be pacified if he has it in his hands and he grows for a few months like that and it cannot let go of it. 

This is how we advance only can we find our direction to awaken correctly to life each and every time, it could be when we get up from sleep and it could be in the middle of the day that we get out of our connection with spirituality by all kinds of external influences, at work, on the street, in the family and later on this is how we get back to it. There, for the fact that we find ourselves confused and disconnected from the essence and purpose of life it is in order for us to have a new connection in the group and through it to the Creator. It is good for us to have such disconnections and also connections as many as possible as the Baal Shem Tov spoke about how many times it was happening to him. Maybe you can find this excerpt. This is what we want today to maybe conclude this topic of playing and acting, we want to talk and study about it but we should certainly also always be in this game that is changing from one state to another. The fact that I am in each and every state that I have and I want to reach a higher state is considered that I'm play acting and we should always play in this higher state as if it doesn't truly exist between us but that we want to be in it. The playing, the acting should be real so that this will elevate us and truly bring us this state into our reality, we will read the excerpts and talk about them.

2. R. Because the fact that you remember something, the letters even saying the names of the letters is already some kind of connection, for him, for the Baal Shem Tov it was total disconnection he couldn't do anything to himself.

3. R. He performed actions by which he became adhered to his student and then the student still has some connection with spirituality, a small one besides the fact that he's a student, a small student relative to the Baal Shem Tov and the fact that that's all that he remembered there is some contact some thread of connection and that way he saved himself. This is how he started and this is how we should see that if we are in a state where we are completely disconnected from spirituality and we have no connection and we don't want it, don't need it and we don't even remember anything, this is actually the best state from which to start a new degree even though it doesn't mean anything for us but rather than we will discover some form of connection with the group just like he had with his student. Some form of connection with the group. This is what we need to have. 

One time with a few friends I came to Tiberius and Rabash was there, we went to Tiberias to the Sea Galilee to have a meal there, six or seven people, maybe less and we came into that building where we used to go there with Rabash. The small house with a few people from Bnei Baruch local Petach Tikvah group that we visited there before the house was demolished. We saw Rabash and he was sitting on his bed, this was kind of a run-down place with a bed in the room and I came in quietly to the room and he looked at me as though he doesn't see me, as though it doesn't know me. Later on, more and more you started to get to know me and I told him it is me, Michael so he looked at me and said who called you, why did you come? I came out quietly from the house, it was just like a room and a half the whole house, and I sat in the courtyard and all of the friends were in a car next to the courtyard and I sat down not knowing what to do. 

I finished smoking a few cigarettes 10 or 15 minutes went by and he called me and said okay get in, in such a way, I came in and he said we will go to Meron, the place where Rabbi Shimon and all of his friends studied and where Rabbi Shimon was buried, him and all of his great students. Then we got dressed and I helped him and we went to Mt. Meron and when we came back, we had a meal there in that building, in that room and he was already different. I saw him in all kinds of states but in this time, he was entirely disconnected from reality, this is also some kind of a game from the heavens that they do with each and every Kabbalist it is known from the stories of the many great Kabbalists. We should also detect it each morning, each state in life that there is something from that that we will be great that we will also witness great disconnections. What am I trying to say by this? That playing the game the Creator plays with us, this is like his way of playing with the whale meaning to bring the whole of creation called a whale to the corrected state. This is through such transformations of states. 

We should be happy that through the group I am connected to the system and through that I can come back to the system very quickly, I don't need somebody to start reading to me the Aleph Bet, but rather to hold onto the 10 I am already for a change. Therefore ,we should respect the states of disconnection but also as quickly as possible like the Baal Shem Tov cried out to start reading quickly why are you keeping silent? Similarly, we should also exit the states of disconnection as quickly as possible to feel ourselves again that I am in the society and the Creator is there inside of me and the whole of humanity is connected to it and then in the connection between us without a limit we can reach the correction, truly the end of correction.

4. S. (22:59) When we wake up in this foggy state what kind of game should we play in order to come back to our wits quickly and wake up in the 10?

R. I determined to myself when I heard such things in the beginning of my way, I established for myself a few such goals, first of all I get up in order to drive people to the lesson, later on I had to call some people on the phone and wake them up and after that I had to prepare coffee for Rabash and to arrange the table to put the tape cassettes and the books so they would be convenient for him with an ashtray and cigarettes, each and everything. This is how I used to arrange it, there is a duty, you need to have something to do not with yourself but towards others because without that you might not be able to get up even though sometimes it's even harder to get up but it is also a habit that becomes second nature the more you get used to it we are given a greater burdening of the heart and this is good. 

This is why it is always good if a person takes upon himself some commitment towards the 10 towards the lesson and by that, let's say you need to send a text message or an email to a few friends to connect them telling them good morning, it is good to do that. When I get up first of all I look at the WhatsApp group and usually there are a few people there who get up even earlier, let's say at a quarter till 2 or before and they already write there in the group. There are all kinds of forms by which a person can help himself to get up but you have to prepare these things in advance, if that doesn't help then maybe there are such states where a person cannot get up. I had a state where I wasn't able to leave my home to come to Rabash to take him to our hike in the gardens, in the park, I wasn't able to do it. He called me and I was truly crying, saying that I cannot leave my flat, he says that you have to get out and I felt that I could not move, it is a wonder, a very special feeling as even now I can remember it. I simply can't. 

What am I trying to say? That we need to have exercises and commitments to the group towards the study, many times what would help me is that I would write things down during the study because I was a student before that so I was constantly writing things down, students usually write things down, back then this is how things were. You have a notebook and you write down whatever you hear from the teacher in such a way I used to guard myself since I had to write. How can it be that the lessons starts and I'm not writing anything down or not to have anything left from the lesson, I owe this to myself and later I had to publicize this to the others with the feeling that I would need that. So that obligation and feeling greatly helps me.

5. S. (28:06) But I say in our 10 we don't have those places or those roles?

R. Well you can wake each other up, you can prepare materials for the study for everyone, the sources, all of these things that they will be in some place that is shared by everyone, a narrative for you so that it will be seemingly like a study room. Where I don't know where to study, there it says if I want to read something extra that I can find it, so try to do something where each and everyone will be concerned through such preparations they will care for the group. This is very important for me that I have some room in the life of the group where I give them something, helping them and preparing them, very important.

S. We have to scrutinize what fits everyone or it doesn't matter?

R. We need to know what to scrutinize, what is good for everyone, you can't just put on someone whatever you feel like, but rather try to support the friend. Try it out, it's not a must, I am saying just try from the morning when you get up to bring yourself back to a state where you are in the system of Adam, not in this world which is all an imaginary world as we call it is truly imagined by us. It seems to us that we live in it but the true state, the world of truth is the system of Adam HaRishon. That system we need to sort and scrutinize to see ourselves as existing in it in that system and to try to bring forth all kinds of efforts so that we will feel that way so much so that we will feel that we are actually living in it. I and my friends, my group, we exist in this system and the Creator is also there even though He is hidden in the meantime but He together with us and we need to reach such connections between us that the Creator will be revealed as the connection between us being our partner together with everyone.

6. S. (31:36) Today with the example of the cat, before you said it's important to prepare and your thoughts and your feelings and your imagination to imagine such states of making these actions. In our state today it is easier, more realistic to do it in one's imagination then to do it practically. Maybe it is enough to do it in your imagination, this preparation and less in practice?

R. No, I tried to do it so that it won't hinder everyone, each one who is trying to awaken the 10 it should be done gently, that you're not pressuring or obligating everyone, not demanding from the friends but rather in a way that is comfortable and nice for everyone so that everyone will truly feel it as nice advancement together.

7. S. (33:10) Is it correct relative to our current state to make a stronger inner effort?

R. Yes.

8. S. (33:32) Can we unite with the friends and play a game to the others in the group in order to develop them and if it is necessary can we lie to them? 

R. Yes, if this lie is for the benefit of the 10 and the others also understand it, that this is how you are acting in order to awaken them then it is correct. It needs to be just like the mother can lie a little bit to the baby in order to awaken it, to develop it in such a way. If you are doing it with such an approach then it is okay. In acting there is always an element of a lie that is the desirable and the existing, the existing is what we have now in the desirable is what we want to have later so we don't call it a lie, we call it the future state.

9. S. (34:56) Earlier you said there are no good states or bad states, it's only new states, what does it mean and how do we advance through those new states?

R. When we get a state of darkness beginning and accept it as the beginning that the Creator is revealing in us the greater broken will to receive and there we have all of the broken desires from the system of Adam HaRishon and he is revealing them from the lighter ones to the heavy ones, awakening it in us bringing it to our recognition and we need to accept it as the beginning of a new degree as every state begins with it was evening and it was morning each day. This is how we count it and in general in Judaism this is customary that the 24 hour day starts from the evening, let us say from the sun set and the beginning of the night this is considered zero hour and then we count the hours from that, 1234 until we reach the morning and then from the morning we reach the next evening until we finish 24 hours. That is not from 12:00 midnight or from some other place but rather from the place where the new darkness comes which is considered the new degree. This is how in spirituality we count the day, day means a new degree.

10. S. (37:03) Typically when it is hard to wake up you blame your tiredness, your physical health situation, is there really another reason other than the ego and all of the other physical reasons?

R. That is true we have no tiredness and all of these states are changes of light that influence the desire therefore it is all a game, this is why we accept all of the changes as we go through them, day and night, morning and evening when we go to sleep and when we wake up, we accept all of these states as our adaptation, our matching to the Creator's influence to us, only that.

11. S. (38:22) What's the connection between the examples I should give the friends in the 10 and the envy that I must feel relative to the friends and the fact that I have to be constantly in the state of playing or acting?

R. I don't have towards myself the world or the Creator any other states besides playing or acting. Playing means that I am advancing from the present state to a more advanced state, the next state. This is why each and every time to be in such changes from state to state, this is my life, this is my simple condition and I need to connect to these changes, the Creator because he is the first, He begins this whole thing and He is the last, I reach him after I correctly realize something. I actualize something in the beginning of that game that he gave me and all of these states that I go through I go through them by discovering it in the ten in the present state until I change the 10 by participating in it up to the point where I reach the correct realization of whatever the Creator started, in that way we advance.

12. S. (40:10) ...in my life I am an actor.

R. Try to do whatever they are expecting of you be either way they want out of you, as if all of the actions that you will perform are because they want you to do it.

13. S. (40:55) How to awaken the 10 with love gently so everyone will enjoy it because each one reacts a different way and sometimes it can paralyze you so other than a prayer how to awaken the ten correctly, you don't know what to do?

R. The means to act correctly towards the 10 is to do whatever they want out of you to incorporate in them and to do whatever they want.

S. How to scrutinize it?

R. To try to feel what it is that they want, what form they would have liked to receive, to see me in that way to act, that way to be.

S. It is different from one friend to another, each wanted a different way, how do you find a common ground?

R. I don't know I can't tell you but all in all, they have some way to look at you, the present state versus the desired state so try to be in the desired state. Try to develop the emotion and see that the Creator is arranging it in such a way.

14. S. (42:39) How to come to a state of being a zero?

R. Don't you have such examples? The mother towards the baby, she does everything necessary for the baby 24 hours a day, she is next to him and whatever he needs that is what she does, her whole body, her thoughts, her desires, everything that she has, it is not taken into consideration, he determines everything. Even though he himself doesn't even think about it and doesn't bring it up to awaken it on purpose, but she with her love and attention to him this is how she builds herself with devotion to him. So, try to do it this way, this gives us a lot to learn from.

15. S. (43:58) In the examples from the beginning of the lesson it turns out that the awakening comes to a person from the outside it's not something from within so where is the playacting?

R. What kind of awakening?

S. For example with Baal Shem Tov with the letters?

R. We can also do it like that.

S. Where is the play in the acting then how do you build the next degree?

R. By integrating in that which influences him, in this case his assistant.

S. This is clear but what I don't understand isn't the playacting something a person himself does?

R. You find that you take something and use it in order to change the state that also is considered the means, the instrument and the game is anything that helps you change from one state to another when you act the higher state and play with the state that you wish to reach this is called a game, acting.

S. From where do you start to play and act if you're foggy and lacking forces?

R. I perform a few mechanical actions, I take a hot shower that awakens me, I get dressed, I think constantly what and why am I doing what for and what will be of me until I go through many such thoughts that I will be able to influence the state on the condition that I am in the system of Adam HaRishon, in the 10 and to influence them as possible under the conditions that I am included in them. When I think how I will influence them so that in general our state will improve and from that we will influence and bestow to the Creator and He will change the state bringing us closer to him to bring him contentment. Right now, I don't feel him and he seemingly doesn't exist for me, all of those things I'm gradually coming back to the system. The question is how do we establish correctly the steps, the stages of development and how do we come to that system of correct connection between us, I, the group, the Creator and we all need to be Israel the Light and the Creator are one to yearn for oneness in each and every state even if I don't identify and feel the group, I don't feel the Creator that dwells in the group but nevertheless I yearn and unify these things above the current conditions.

S. This mechanical process I understand what to do, what is unclear is how do I practically depict this next degree that I wish to go towards with the 10?

R. I can't tell you, look for those things try to portray them so much so that you will see that you have to be with the friends and you will feel the warmth from it, you will feel the mutual support that you are a sitting together and from this connection together you come to a state where you can see that the essence of your feelings towards one another you can call that the Creator. You seemingly give birth to him as it says “you have made Me”. We do this from the side of our effort and desires until we feel in those desires a reaction from somewhere, from a more inner state, just like you wish, you really want to light a fire until it actually catches on fire.

S. Seemingly in my mind I understand the necessity to incorporate in the friends but I don't manage to develop an emotion towards it?

R. The difference in developing it in your mind or in your feeling has to do with the effort, yours and your friends try to attain those things in practice, they come as a result of efforts.

S. This is also what develops the emotion to open the heart towards changes?

R. Of course our feeling is something that we develop and we feel the Creator with his glory filling the world but how do we feel him least as a tiny spark, is something that is in us?

16. S. (50:12) Play acting on the next degrees that faith above reason?

R. Yes.

17. S. (50:28) You said we need to do whatever the group demands of you, should the playacting be such to awaken envy or not?

R. We can act in such a way that awakens envy in friends but right now we're not speaking of that we're talking about playing a simple game where we wish to scrutinise the response, the reaction, the participation not a negative one. It is also that a game can be used for that as well, but a positive one, mutual, sharing where I first have to give my friends such examples where I wish to participate with them, to be with them connecting them together. More than that we are not going to discuss it, we already spend a lot of time on it.

18. S. The state when we try to act, to play it happens from within or the friends there is a certain view that when a child is playing, he is living inside of this game but for us it is like an impossible mission, I am seemingly willing to play a little bit but there's no benefit in it because only the Creator can help me so how do I get along in that state where this knowledge that he's telling us it is impossible?

R. You are correct, it cannot be done by a person that implements it but it can be if we implemented together, all of us through mutual help in the 10. None of us can perform even the smallest spiritual action, none of us is capable this is why it says either connection or death, spiritual death. So, the fact that you say you have no strength and you can't perform any spiritual action that is a fact, it is clear and it stems from the system. As long as the 10 is not connected you won't be able to perform even a single spiritual action, one cannot do anything. A spiritual action means that I awaken my connection with the friends by awakening them as Malchut, or as Keter, that is what Rabash says either I submit myself and I awaken them by that or I am above everyone with my example I awaken them. Only in this way if I awaken the 10 on my part I perform a certain spiritual action which is actually happening, maybe I don't feel it or see results from it but I do it like a baby who doesn't realize that he is growing each and every day. So I do and I grow a few days like that, eventually feeling there is something in those actions in the beginning and the end of the action and in general this is how I am growing up on the condition I can depict myself in the ten and awaken in that the system of Adam HaRishon.

S. What is the difference between playing and making an effort, for a child it's not an effort, for us how can you reach a state where the Creator and the game will come easy, will it be or will it always be an effort?

R. It will always be against our egoistic desire otherwise it's not spirituality, however it all depends on the importance, if you are in a group that gives you examples on how to perform spiritual action and everyone desires it, you can learn from it. You can receive the strength from them, you can ask the Creator for the strength and envy, lust and honor take a person out of the world as we say but it will always be with a certain component of overcoming your own ego, your laziness after which you come to a state where you rise to a different degree incorporating in the force of bestowal.

S. A child when he's growing up, he doesn't understand the process but for us we should play a little bit but all of our previous study and knowledge tells us it is useless so should we pray to the Creator or….?

R. That is because you're not working together if you would work together to awaken one another you won't remain as a passive part of the group and the other part, the problem is that you're not waking up, you surrender under the egoistic forces that control you and the more that we talk about it I don't see that it's happening, you are immersed deeply in your ego and your laziness and you expect for it to somehow change and it won't, it will not change. Unless you begin to act without any …. let your mind without talking or thinking, just doing, try to do this daily and to ask daily but clearly. When you sum up at the end of the day what you wish to say tomorrow and the story has to be short three to five sentences. Then we will advance. Because we must move on.

19. S. (01:01:39) Can we play with my ego because when I wake up and I have no forces I can seemingly look from the side and tell myself, tell it you can go to the group there you can get forces?

R. Yes you can, anything is good to awaken yourself to get up and reach the connection with the friends.

20. S. (01:02:48) On one hand we need to reach a deficiency to reach the state of I'm better off dead and on the other hand we read that the Creator has no such lack and that we want to reach equivalence of form with Him so how do we do that?

R. We reach the Creator according to equivalence with the quality of bestowal.

21. S. When we speak about a game what is honesty and sincerity in spirituality?

R. I don't know what is sincerity, honesty, what do you want from this work, truthfulness?

S. He means to say honest things, to be honest when do we use that in spirituality?

R. Each time relative to the true thing which we feel in our desires, in our thoughts which is true, this truth points to our corporeal egoistic degree and we wish to raise ourselves to the degree of bestowal, the higher degree. According to if I'm being honest in my ego, I don't want to use it because that is what the whole world is doing. I see what they're doing and how they are destroying themselves. We want to rise to a higher spiritual degree, a higher greater value, this is not called truthfulness or honesty it is called a person's stinking ego, that the Creator created him so he would constantly rise above it to a higher degree. Hence, there is nothing to be prideful that we are all each of us as connected to his ego, this is me this is my ego and this is how I relate to everyone, so what? An animal, animals also do it like that with its nature. Rather each time we need to try with our game, our acting to raise ourselves to a higher degree of bestowal that is what the upper force demands of us and our life also says that we have no way to stay on this level in this world but you rise above it or we will remain as beast. If I am inside my will to receive and I am proud of it. I am worse than an animal. An animal uses its egoistic desire because this is how it is, it doesn't have any other possibility but if I do it and I am proud that I am like that then I am worse than the animal.

S. Sometimes I see that with my ego I show something to the friends but if I am honest with myself?

R. What does it mean to be honest with yourself and what are you being honest to yourself by showing yourself that you are an egoist, you think only of yourself you look down on everyone ignoring them, is this what you think I was being honest? What happens to you from the point of this self-awareness, that you come to know yourself? Does this awaken you come out to a higher state or not?

S. Yes, when I am honest with myself, I show the friends as if I am great but I see that I am not any of these things so then I tell myself that I am all fake when I use my ego.

R. Okay so what is the question then?

S. This honesty is showing me something that is truer so I am asking when should I be honest?

R. Dear friend of course our ego is a true thing, it is the foundation of all of creation and the fact that you are showing everyone also feel you are a big egoist this is the truth, but it is a truth that we wish to rise above such a truth isn't worth me staying in it because with this truth I am destroying myself in the world, all of humanity and everything. I am not reaching what I can reach which is rising to the next, second degree of existence of reality, what will I get out of remaining in this ego? Look at the whole world it is a good example, everyone constantly remains in their egos and the ego keeps developing and bringing themselves to death.

S. Is it possible that I will feel this ego sometimes as a mask that is sometimes something unreal?

R. That is what I tell you, start relating to it as your nature as the basis from which you need to rise to the opposite degree instead of what you have inside your ego, invert it. Invert it from self love to love of others, from hate of others to love of others, do it and you will see that I have seen an upside down world. Otherwise, you remain in a state where you are born in this tiny ego and you suffer and this is how you will remain as there is no reason to be prideful about being in this egoistic state to maintain it. You didn't attain it, you didn't do it, what are you getting out of it? Typically, those that wish to enter it and stay in it are the biggest egoists, people in organized crime, the leaders, governments, they are in this heightened ego and they wish there to go to rule not only them but also all of humanity, the whole world. But it doesn't work out.

22. S. (01:14:27) Can we say that playing is a way to bypass the desire?

R. The game is called the game because you're not in that state as we wish to be, so when we play and act in that desired state, the higher state, the more bestowing, the more advanced in the connection between us and with the Creator, that effort is called playing, acting. We can do this because even small animals that grow up have it but for them it is instinctive like with babies who instinctively have this drive to develop, but we who wish to come out from this world to the Upper world using this game, this acting, we have to accept it understanding its laws and by our self to build the system of the game and this way to rise above.

That should be the primary feeling during the lesson.

26. S. (01:20:03) Can we say the Creator's game with the whale is an explanation about the Creator's freedom of choice that we also need to attain?

R. No the Creator doesn't have freedom of choice He is the law itself so we don't speak about it in this way freedom of choice is for those who have the ability to do one way or the other, the Creator is a law, he is not out of side of creation He is creation itself so we cannot speak about him this way.

S. It says there that seemingly he was playing, meaning it wasn't something that was necessary that the whole creation was out of a game, like a game?

R. That is right but this is not the Creator this is something that is beyond the Creator, the quality or the phase of the Creator is that which exists in the matter that it created and what we need to discover from within the matter.

27. S. (01:21:31) What is the point in which a corporeal action where one wants to make his friend happy becomes a spiritual action?

R. Connection if we have a tendency for connection we are still in corporeality, advanced corporeality but still corporeal. The moment we connect between us at least in that tiny point, the first degree of connections, this is called spirituality. Spirituality is a state of the system of Adam HaRishon, if we come to it to a certain extent, the smallest you can say that we are in spirituality then we begin to feel ourselves in it.

S. If I perform a corporeal action, if I perform my spiritual action with the intention of performing something spiritual does this mean that I'm acting in the next state?

R. Yes, you are, it's not there and we have to play and act it but it's not a spiritual state yet. The spiritual is that which we feel as a result of the connection between us.

28. S. (01:23:10) Can we sometimes also exaggerated with the friends in this acting, yesterday I exaggerated and they kind of got alarmed a bit?

R. I'm not certain exactly what you're referring to, my game is when I wish to imagine everyone in a corrected way with my heart and my mind and not in an excessive way but realistic where I give each other a good example of how to be in mutual bestowal between us. There's nothing excessive about it, you have to relate it with your heart and soul with love and then you will not make any mistakes, they will not be alarmed or startled.

29. S. (01:24:12) In infancy when we play we want it, I want to be what I am acting and I am playing it, I am acting it I have a deficiency for it, where can we take the deficiency for the acting in order to be certain that we will attain the desirable state?

R. You need to awaken yourselves each time to this game to see it as the only means, the only means to reach the truth, to reach the purpose of creation, to discover the Creator, to bestow to the whole world and to Him. You need to convince yourself that there is no other way, that this is free choice and you have to do it and in that each to help his friend. R. R. R. Your pride, your laziness.

R. The game includes the prayer, because when we play we express our desire, that is what we have to come to which is the prayer.

R. That is the Zohar explains in several places because it exists in the sea, in the water it is like birth just as we come from water in the womb, there are water, water is the degree Bina,  but from the degree Bina when the animal level comes This is called the degree of the Leviathan, the whale there are many stories we can read about it but this is practically the degree of Malchut coming out of the degree of Bina,  being all of the sea and the whale is the degree of the will to receive. R. R. The desired state that we are acting in is by the Upper light, it becomes the state that is in us already because the degrees from above downwards this is how they are arranged with the inner lights and the surrounding lights they are all arranged in this way that if we awaken the surrounding lights in some way they perform the actions from below upwards when we enter the ladder.

S. It really feels like this is a new game we are receiving ….

R. It is all and it is everything, we are in it and we have no other reality otherwise. To such an extent there is no other reality we have to feel that this is where we exist in the system, this is it and this is our salvation. When we start to feel that this is what we have and by that we have to change our fate, our life to awaken the Upper forces, that is all. We are in place already and if we establish our state to be this way.

S. So next we're going to go on to new topics, how do we keep using the tool, how do we keep from leaving the game as the means?

R. We have to keep going because that is life, you can't imagine yourself to be in a system or a different reality, you exist in a reality where every time by the acting you raise the reality to a higher degree, but you have to do it according to the laws between degree A to B and B to C and these states we already learned them in the descent of the Partzufim from above downwards, how we raised ourselves from below upwards this is our work, Until we truly realize it.

R. What does it mean that you rise from one state to another?

This is how we grow, there is nothing you can do about it, the main thing is not dependent on mind or a person's internal force, rather only his ability to suffer to put up with the lowliness, as much as he feels that he is nothing. R. Comfortable doesn't mean that I am making some unique system for him that his ego should feel comfortable, I am making an effort to organize a society, and environment that can take each and every one forward, forward according to their efforts and their participation and that is it. What does comfortable mean I don't understand, by us it is not some 5-star hotel or something therapeutic place rather the opposite, we are always talking about how to overcome the obstacles that day-to-day the Creator places before us. You have materials, look at them and read what the Kabbalists are writing and then you have surely what to do.

S. How do you recommend us to tackle pride in the group to awaken the friends like Rabash said if the friends don't find any pleasure in what you tried to awaken him or if you try to awaken and you get resistance?

R. You will advise him to advertise the wisdom of Kabbalah in the whole continent of Africa and let him see himself as responsible for this then out of this importance he will receive importance of the wisdom of Kabbalah going more inwards and incorporate more, give everyone work in dissemination each one must feel themselves as great and important, understanding in feeling and wise upon the entire continent of Africa and must bring the continent the knowledge of the method of the recognition of the Creator. Try to do this, let them do it out of their pride and ego, it doesn't matter but from lo Lishma, you will reach Lishma, they will begin like this and then they will correct themselves.

It is worthwhile for us each and everyone to find himself as much as he is capable to advertise, to expand the borders for the expansion of the wisdom of Kabbalah and from such engagements he will reach revelation of the Creator. R.  I don't know the question is what happens after the debates are you fulfilling what you are seeing in the verses, with you I only want to clarify Rabash and Baal HaSulam are writing, maybe a few other Kabbalists I am not telling you what to do I am showing you look what these Kabbalists are writing and from this you shall know what you need to do. S. Is it possible for you to give us a recommendation and we can decide something completely different from your words?

R. You can do whatever you want, I'm not dictating to anyone what to do, I am just telling you what seems that needs to be done and then you decide whether you want it or not. I am not going to pressure others, there is no subjugation in spirituality, you need to subjugate yourself to agree with what the Kabbalists are saying, not me, what the Kabbalists are saying and to realize their advice, not my own. I am not even in this I am just explaining to you according to what I think what is written there. Upon you already, is to accept it or not, do what you think, I did my part in this.

S. This discussion has reached a  point where every day you'll give us a new scrutiny and recommendations about what to do during the day to read the articles to make a discussion, can we talk about it in the 10?

R. I don't know I don't understand anything from your words, write exactly what you want to say first and then read it, what you wrote otherwise you start giving speeches without a beginning or end and I can't understand.

54. S. (02:28:43) To ask about bringing high spirits and not frivolity on one hand I'm doing everything for my friends to smile and be in a good mood, Rabash writes that it's not good to bring frivolity so where is that line between those two?

R. If we connect in the 10 in order to find and make another step forward towards the Creator that is called that we are going forward correctly. What more do we have to do? S. You previously said no one in the 10 are their spiritual qualities so are all of my friends in the ten corrected or only while connecting are they corrected?

R. Of course our entire correction is in the connection between us if someone is disconnected from the connection they are no longer in spirituality.

R. No, there is private-public, general and individual we have to learn this, not so simple to just go over it.
