Part 2:

Baal HaSulam. The Freedom. “Two Discernments: A: Potential, B: Actual”

1. S. (09:04) I want to answer my friend and how I want to sit with my friends in the king's palace around the table and my friend is awarded with sitting there at some stage and my prayer and thought and in my heart, is not clothed it's in potential. How can I turn that prayer so that it will come out in practice so that it will exist and the reality where the Creator sits with me always and the Creator will sit with me all the days of my life? How can I turn the prayer from potential to actual in my friend?

R. Are you the Creator?

S. No but I want to be like him.

R. What does it mean to be like him?

S. To bestow that I want my friend will live in good and abundance, that he will accept upon himself the Creator and that's how he will live.

R. Meaning your desire must be realized relative to the friend that you're certain about, that feels to you like the quality of the Creator?

S. I don't understand the question.

R. Can you help me out friend?

S. I am also uncertain, I can try.

R. Help me out please I'm asking you, who can help me?

S. We need to leave room for the Creator and not to know with clear knowledge what we demand to happen because we think that the result is what we think, in short we need to let the Creator be in control.

R. Is it okay with what he answered or not so much?

S. I want the friend to receive the fulfillment so I connect to my friend and from that command I will make your desire as my desire, meaning making my friends desire more important than my desire that's how I relate to him.

R. That's okay. Not that it is doing a friend’s action, but still.

2. S. (12:15) I didn't understand what's the difference, it's potential which is thought and it's undressed in matter and there is actual. That actual I didn't understand what it was because in the world of the friend it is like a mother looking at the child and I want to look at her and give her all of my powers and strength. What does it mean that actual in practice where I try to give that force to the friend so that he will attain his root of the soul and not what I think?

R. Is there an answer for his question, again the question?

S. My role is to be a friend where my entire essence, my thoughts, my desire is like mother towards the child so that all of my abilities will be that I will love the friends and that he will reach the root of his soul and receive all the abundance. There's that in potential where this friend is in potential and also a friend is an actual in practice. What does it mean actual to be a friend who turns the world of his friend more close to his root of the soul?

R. That you deliver all of your vessels to him in order to obtain the purpose of his life that's what I understand, if I understood you correctly.

S. That is the essence of signing that off it doesn't matter what happened to me?

R. That's something else but in a sense, yes.

S. How can we turn a prayer or speech or thought into reality?

R. A desire plus the thought, it becomes, turns desire in the thought in reality.

S. How can I give that as a gift to the friend and to the Creator so that it will help them to connect together? How can I do that action where I can take the man in me, the friend in me and I give it completely to the Creator to the friend.

R. Anyone understand what he's saying?

S. If I understand correctly I have a desire so that the friend will have a good. How can I, the desire of mine for the friend to have it good, will pass from being in potential where I want him to have it good so he will actually have it good?

R. You want to answer it?

S. I want to answer what he intended. How can I have it so that the friends has it good, how can I make sure that the friend has it good?

R. What did we get to here? You're acting, the friend is acting, maybe leave something for the Creator?

S. That's what I think the question is. Where here is, if I understand his mind, where is this transition between me wanting. I have a desire for the friend to have a good, what do I need to do so that in the end the friend will really have a good. How will I make it good for the friend in what I need to do here in order to change this in potential this desire for the friend that I have so in actual the friend will have it good?

R. When you draw in him with your heart and soul, what else do you need?

S. Baal HaSulam says that the righteous blesses a person and that is even more in an action in this world with his hands and legs which is much more than what a person can do. It turns out the whole relative abundance to the reality of that world that he blessed. What does it mean to be a Kabbalist in that understanding, what does the Kabbalist do when he blesses?

R. That's a question that lacks foundation. We can't be in a place of aKabbalist and imagine what he's doing, what's going on with him. Why are you even asking such questions in the first place? Those are questions that are above your attainment and above our abilities.

S. We are going to reach that soon?

R. When we reach it we will reach it.

3. S. (18:27) I want to scrutinize the topic of potential and action where the potential is in thought and when a person makes an action he does not reveal that force, so what does that mean in relation to the person that he conceals until he makes the action?

R. Yes.

S. Meaning a person wants now in the Ten to make connection of connection and that force which is beyond them he needs to do actions in order to reveal that force. I'm asking, meaning I only live in the world of action, I don't know what really activates me, what the thoughts behind me and what motivates me, so only through the environment I can reveal that force?

R. Yes, you allow it to act.

4. S. (19:28) In order to love the friend I need to pray but, in order to pray I need to love the friend?

R. No, I don't have to love the friend in order to pray, I have to know that I want to attain the love of a friend.

S. But if the Creator will hear me, will the Creator hear me praying for the friend?

R. Yes, but what are you asking for? You're asking to love the friend, although right now you don't love him it's okay, you don't love him, but you have a place a desire,  an inner impulse to love him and you're asking the Creator on that because you yourself cannot cannot change from hate to love, so that's how you work.

5. S. (20:53) Can we connect to this article in the imagination that dresses into forms that he wants to be received in. Maybe the question is this, what is the correct forms that we wish to receive from the convention and that we integrate that potential and actual in the result of the convention, what form do we want to carry out in the convention?

R. I think it's clear as one man in one heart.

S. It is enough for us in the whole world Kli aimed to be as one man with one heart and by doing so we want and we yearn to be there? Then that we activate that force which is concealed from us?

R. Yes, is that clear ?

6. S. (22:10) I want to understand the matter of yearning passion because we need to imagine the final State and to yearn for that but what is the action of yearning, how can we transfer the thought to this action where we will yearn for that thing?

R. We need to awaken it artificially in the Ten and then each one will envy his friend although it doesn't exist in any one of the friends, and will thus come to a state where we want to clothe in us.

7. S. (23:13) If I understand correctly this picture to us in this excerpt how they desire works. There are three parts, one is called potential the other one is called actual, at the end he writes that the force of desire dresses on things that it wants to be received in, so the extent of the revelation of this action is the necessary action. What is this mysterious measure?

R. It is the amount of livelihood that he has.

S. Meaning if I understand correctly as much as one starts recognizing how the will to receive operates with these two forces which come from the concealment inside me I start to feel vitality?

R. Yes.

Reading Two Creations (24:27) “A Man be a Living Soul: From the Above We Can...”

8. R. (34:41) He writes beautifully like a poet.

9. S. (35:05) It's hard for me to accept what he's writing here, I don't understand because a person doesn't die in one moment just as he doesn't die in one instant, but the candle of his ego is extinguished slowly and dies a little by little and along with it dies the images of the possessions he wishes to receive. He begins to relinquish many possessions he had during his youth. I want to tell you the older I grow I feel like I'm getting younger I want to do more. Here he writes that although I grow older my will to receive is getting smaller and I'm feeling despair and feel like I'm going to die and everything around it. What kind of thing is that, is it a different time what is happening here?

R. You now have some kind of inner transformation between the desire expected, I understand you.

S. How do you get to that conclusion?

R. I'm also nearly like your age.

S. Yes but I feel like you are also getting younger each passing day, I'm not kidding. Like your questions, your answers to your people here, your patience. I would never be able to withstand that and you doing it beautifully, so why does he write that as we grow older we die, we're dying, why is he writing like this?

R. It seems as if he understands maybe he's asking about other people.

S. Can you open it up a bit so we understand what he's talking about?

R. I don't know, it depends on the person, that picture the person who lives his life he goes out to a pension, he receives some allowance I don't know what happens and then he lives that way with his wife at home.

S. Let's see if I understand what you seemingly hide from us, the person studies the Wisdom of Kabbalah the more he advances?

R. What do you mean advances?

S. He advances however the Creator leads him.

S. He connects to the friends he gets these options to understand the more to cancel more, he advances more towards the direction of life and not death?

R. Right.

S. Why is that?

R. Your speaking matter of a person who is advancing in spirituality so he really doesn't want to think about death. For him life is now coming to a certain stage which is good.

S. What does it mean advances in spirituality?

R. Toward the Creator.

S. About the Congress, what do you anticipate with us theoretically speaking, what is going to happen to us?

R. An opportunity.

S. For?

R. An opportunity for connection.

S. And then we'll see ourselves growing older less, we rise above death, old age?

R. Yes elderly years it's not important.

Reading Freedom from the Angel of Death (39:00) “Now, that all that We Have Learned...”

10. S. (44:12) The Creator created the will to receive, He did not create the will to bestow we need to reach a state of the will to bestow, how do we reach the state of the will to bestow the light is an absolute rest. How will the light make it so we will be in the state of bestowal so that's a new creation?

R. Bestowal is not a new creation, reception is a new creation but the bestowal is the Creators quality. Therefore when we reveal in us this change from the Creator to the extent in which He lets us feel how different we are to Him, and accordingly we feel unpleasantness suffering all kinds of problems and troubles and then we can perform all kinds of actions in order to get rid of the unpleasant feeling and by doing so we reach that form of bestowal. Now we don't reach that form of bestowal in a usual manner whenever it's unpleasant for me, I escape from there and where it's pleasant for me I come closer to it to that source of bestowal.

However we need to research and to see that if we are similar to The Creator, meaning here our work is even more than bestowal and reception that I want through bestowal to resemble the Creator. Then my work becomes the work of adornment and as such we come to the closeness of the Creator himself meaning it's not a matter of bestowal and reception. Those are things where in our world in our state they play and make a certain difference. However in relation to the Creator, the matter is not to bestow or to receive but who do we prefer to who do we prefer to be similar. In other words it doesn't matter to me that I received bestowal but that I will resemble the Creator, that I will be similar to him, that is the important point. It needs to be felt in me as the point of the goal, whatever I could say I said. Is it okay that this situation is not worthwhile. I can't scrutinize anymore, is there something else? The article is okay, certainly we are in the article.

11. S. (48:34) There's no freedom in this world but what is the spiritual freedom? What is the change?

R. Spiritual freedom changes everything, under what spiritual worlds am I living and changing in.

12. S. (48:59) Is true freedom the only freedom when a person is free from the angel of death?

R. I cannot say freedom from the angel of death comes from our life, when we feel suddenly it happens, but there are all kinds of additions great additions from this freedom and we still cannot express them.

13. S. (49:41) What is the purpose of the first half of life where man's ego is big and strong, what is behind it?

R. That we will receive strong bases for our ego and will be able to organize everything upon it.

14. R. Okay friends, today we have a breakfast right? Friends are already happy with a smile they have and afterwards we meet to prepare for all the other things right? Let us already start going down.
