Part 2:
Baal HaSulam. Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah. #32
Reading #32 (0:18) “This thoroughly clarifies the meaning of the surrounding light of AK...” Twice.
1. S. (10:00) He writes that by the couplings in the five worlds so the phase 4 will be corrected completely but after the first restriction in the screen there's a Sof in the Partzuf that whichever coupling it does there will always be a part of the Sof?
R. But you have thousands of Partzufim that eventually lead to a state that all of the light of the Ein Sof clothes on the Kli.
S. What makes the part of the Sof disappear?
R. The end of the Partzuf, no for now he doesn't receive it but it goes to the next Partzuf and there he receives it. Eventually that is how it happens.
S. Where they're always be a part of the Sof in the Partzuf?
R. Until Ein Sof
S. It remains, or just become so small that supposedly doesn’t…
R. It disappears, everything simply enters the Masach.
2. S. (11:25) What is this an accumulating process that’s what gives more contentment to the Creator all these couplings and not at once?
R. Because you cannot receive in one go to receive the light of Ein Sof in order to bestow that is why it's done in couplings. You cannot swallow the entire cow. What does it mean when it says cow by cow means it’s the expression in Hebrew. It means little pieces, pieces, and pieces over your life cycle you probably eat the few cows.
S. Yes, but he can do it, everything he could of made it that we do swallow everything at once it’s probably a reason for all these couplings?
R. You cannot do an action receive in order to bestow in one go because it's against the desire. You first need to acquire a new desire in order to bestow meaning raise the Creator above everything. Of course for himself and then to see in what way he can receive from him so that it will truly be in order to bestow with the intention.
S. Is this also the reason for the creation for the 6000 years?
R. Yes
3. S. (12:58) What is the difference between what it receives in Ein Sof and after the restriction?
R. The fourth phase of the Ein Sof receives Ein Sof after the Tzimtzum receives it is Tzimtzum.
S. But the light of Ein Sof is a thin light. So what all these creation for?
R. In order to give the created being to receive everything that the Creator wants to give him and to do it in an Equivalence of Form.
S. That is not what it received in the Ein Sof?
R. No to start with?
S. Yes.
R. No to start with he had no calculation that is why there was a Tzimtzum a restriction separation between the giver and the receiver. And the receiver begins to calculate to what extent he can receive or not in order to be in a Zivug with the Giver.
S. And that’s called that he has an opportunity to give contentment to the Creator?
R. That itself is giving contentment.
4. S. (14:14) it is written at the end, and now He shines on him from the outside in a certain illumination that helps him expand by those laws that are filtering in to receive the surrounding light. How does this illumination from the outside help us receive it?
R. It does not give you rest until you want to receive it all the way. Until you receive it entirely it won’t give you any rest. What you have constantly when you feel that you still have what, and you haven’t yet received, and you didn’t do, that’s all surrounding light.
S. It accustoms him to expand by the same laws? It gives him abilities that he doesn’t have in his nature that suddenly he adapts to the upper laws?
R. Of course, because now he begins to see how he's lacking in order, he’s lacking to receive what the Creator prepared for him. That’s all in these empty vessels that he discovers.
5. S. (15:40) How does the screen sustain the light, doesn't it just reject it?
R. By rejecting the light it holds it from receiving and he gives the Kli the ability to calculate and see in what way he can come closer to the source of light.
6. S. (16:06) When phase four will be corrected will the Rosh and Sof be canceled?
R. In the end of correction yes.
7. S. (16:23) Is item 32 speaking about only after us restricting and annulling ourselves and connecting to the friends then the upper light will enter us?
R. Yes.
8. S. (16:39) Is gathering all the screens what makes the vessel worthy?
R. Again.
S. Is connecting all the screens what builds, what makes the vessel worthy?
R. Yes.
9. S. (17:01) About expanding in the same laws, when the surrounding light expands it works on the Guf or on the screen, what does the surrounding light affect?
R. Surrounding light wants to enter the Kli.
S. How when it enters the Kli?
R. Because that's where his Kli is. He doesn't want to receive and that's why it's surrounding.
S. How does it affect making the decision to receive more?
R. Pressure, because there is the oppositeness between this light and the Kli. Between them there is a border that the Kli doesn't want to let the light enter it because it will be in order to receive.
S. The surrounding light helps the screen feel the Guf?
R. To the purification of the Masach. It cancels the Masach.
S. I don't understand this process.
R. He gradually with his pressure cancels the screen, it forces the screen of the Guf to be purified to come back to the Peh of Rosh.
S. Then it agrees to receive in that same area?
R. Yes.
S. In the beginning he wrote, it's like a basic question, he speaks about the screen that is actually what detained the light from expanding in phase four and pushed it back and by that the vessel is created. How is that connected to the reflected light or the intention to bestow? How can…?
R. Masach, returning light, and the intention in order to bestow, are actually the same.
S. This action of rejection, how is that bestowing?
R. Why are you rejecting it? He doesn't want to be the receiver, he wants to come closer to the host to the landlord. That's why he wants to bestow upon HIm, that's why he refuses.
S. This action of rejection seems like not receiving the light that I will take it in order to receive.
R. Why don't you receive?
S. Because it will cause a shattering, I can't in order to receive.
R. Why? Who prohibited you to receive?
S. It's the law of restriction.
R. That is what you feel. The host says receive as much as you want.
S. The action of bestowal seems like an action of giving, that I'm doing an action of giving, and the action of the screen is not to receive, how to give isn't to receive?
R. It is not the same, because not to receive is not to receive and to give us something else, but it is in the same direction, in the same direction in order to make the host happy. I don't want to receive, I respect him, it’s clear.
10. S. (20:55) When phase four will be corrected does the Sof get filled?
R. When it will be corrected everything will be fulfilled and will be returned back to a sphere form because that is the complete form of the will to receive.
11. S. (21:20) In phase 4 for there is the screen what changed the screen the light of Ein Sof that now instead of it we get surrounding light?
R. He doesn't want to receive the light in order to receive, he of course doesn't want to accept it and can't accept it in order to bestow and that is why the light remains as surrounding light even though it is intent to fulfill the Sof, the end of the Partzuf.
S. But when I state the surrounding light that means it affects the vessel in a special way, it is the light of Ein Sof that came to fill the vessel. Is it the light that came to correct the vessel? When we say surround light then so everything around the vessel's light?
R. No,surrounding light isn't the light of Ein Sof, surrounding light surrounds the Kli because the Kli refused to accept it as inner light.
S.It is not clear what the difference between the surrounding light and the light of Ein Sof is.
R. The light of Ein Sof is Ein Sof can't be measured but surrounding light has an inner Kli that doesn't want to receive it it can't receive it, and then He surrounds the Kli. He pressures it in order to eventually bring it to reception in order to bestow.
S. Receiving light to bestow or the light of Ein Sof?
R. The same surrounding light that is now in existence.
S. I have to think about it.
R. Think about it. Now I understand why I didn't give you the chance to ask immediately.
12. S. (23:33) Is this surrounding light related to the line or the circle?
R. The general surrounding light is in comparison to the circle.
S. Is there surrounding light only to what didn't fill the line?
R. There is the NRNCHY of surrounding light. There are many details thereof cause. It is a light that needs to fulfill the Kli but from the weakness of the Masach it remains outside and needs to wait until the Masach will correct itself and then it will be able to clothe in the internality of Kli.
13. S. (24:18) If phase four was swelled up to the size of Ein Sof in potential, so why the part that can't receive why it doesn't just feel the Sof, why does it need surrounding light?
R. Ask again
S. The Sof is the part that I'm not able to receive from the light of Ein Sof?
R. No because you're lacking the screen. It's always if you're lacking a screen.
S. Right, 100% arises and lets say I'm able to receive 20%, so the 20% is inner light.
R. That is closed in the Toch.
S. Yes, and 80% is Toch?
R. Yes.
S. That's 100%, where is the surrounding light?
R. But it doesn't receive in the Sof.
S. But it says that there is.
R. It's a very small illumination from the light of Hasidim. The light that can't clothe, the Toch of the Partzuf remains as surrounding and it shines on the vessel from the outside.
14. S. (25:46) Maybe it's just the words here but in the example that the Partzuf can receive 20% and 80% it can't receive, the amount of returning light is also 20%, right, to the extent it is able to receive.
R. Right, wait wait wait, the measure of the reflected light that clothes the direct light.
S. That is the returning light, isn't it?
R. There are many kinds of reflected light.
S. It is confusing because we always said that inner light is equal to the returning light. If he receives 20% he also returns 20%. Isn't that true?
R. Where is the rest?
S. I'm asking what is returning light? Is it the 80% or the 20%?
R. Oh, that's the question.
S. Because here I think he writes that the returning the light that came out by returning the light behind it also became in the Kelim to clothe the upper light. That is like the 80% that he didn't receive.
R. Right.
S.
The
returning
light,
is
that
it
or
is
it
what
he
can
clothe
on
the
direct
light,
which
is
the
20%?
R.
Reflected
light
is
the
light
that
can
cloth
the
direct
light
and
then
receive
it
in
the
vessel.
S. So that's the 20% in this example, so what is the 80% because it's confusing here that he writes about the light that he didn't receive and he calls that returning light and that is the 80%?
R. That too.
S. These are two exact opposite paths. It's the path that he can receive and the path that he can’t.
R. You have dozens of kinds of reflected light and direct light. Go into part one of TES and you will see in the inner observation.
S. Just sounds like an opposite definition. We always say we have to have a clear definition to put it in our box, etc.
R. A clear definition. So?
S. Here it’s the opposite.
R. Again, what are you asking?
S. Is the returning light the 20% that he can receive or the 80% he can't receive, which one of the two?
R. Reflected light has a lot of types but usually we learn that reflected light is when the vessel gives back to the host that it couldn't receive an order to bestow, right?
S. That is not the reflected light that becomes the vessel of reception like the example of the guest and the host from refusing, etc.
R. You're talking about the next actions. After the vessel refused and rejected the light now it is calculating as much as it can receive more in order to bestow and then it discovers that, through many couplings, it can gradually still receive the light in order to bestow.
S. OK, so there’s the 20% he can't receive now that's the returning light that clothes the direct light?
R. That’s in the Toch that receives it.
S. Then there is the 80% that then all the Zivugim, all the couplings…
R. Yes.
15. S. (29:23) In the example of the host it's clear that I receive a little bit in the beginning, to give Him contentment, because he asked for it and as soon as the direct light arrives here then this is the max I can receive as we said. What turns this combination of the inner light to have a sudden intention in order to bestow? What is bestowal to the Creator in the light, what exists there?
R. There's the created beings’ desire that restricted itself and still wants to get the bit of the refreshments from the host in order to bestow to the host. It clothes the direct light it took, the refreshments, in its own reflected light then he does it only for the benefit of the host and by that they reach connection between them.
S. What does it mean for the host? What is the action of bestowal that I do for the host?
R. You cause him pleasure.
S. The Creator receives pleasure from me receiving in order to bestow. What happens in the inner light that I suddenly start bestowing there to some extent?
R. That you receive it only in order to bestow.
S. To sharpen this to a point of bestowal.
R. The point of bestowal is in your rejection that you don't want to receive even you are very hungry, you don't want to receive, and then still you can overcome yourself and receive in order to bestow
S. The inner light is actually a new light?
R. It's the direct flight that came from the host and it clothed in the reflected light that I’ve created through the rejection then these two lights are called inner light
S. Which is the light of bestowal. You give contentment to the Creator by that.
R. Yes.
16. S. (31:34) I heard you don't want to receive even though you are very hungry.
R. Yes, obviously if I wouldn’t want so I couldn’t do any action.
S. Wasn't hungry?
R. Right.
S. What to do with the hunger?
R. You use it in order to invert it for the benefit of the host. That's why I first perform a restriction and I don't receive and I calculate what can I do for the host if I still receive above my personal calculations. I start tasting the pleasures that I have by doing it for the host and then I receive in order to bestow.
S. Throughout these calculations where is the hunger?
R. The hunger remains. I use it when I receive for the benefit of the host. Without the hunger you cannot bestow.
S. Where is the strength to leave the hunger unsatisfied?
R. I fill it. I must fill my desire to receive in fulfillment but with the intention to bestow.
17. S. (33:27) In the time of the Tzimtzum does the created being know what the taste of the light he rejected is? Does he know what he’s rejecting?
R. Yes, otherwise he can’t reject it.
S. While he receives the inner light is it the same flavor he rejected or is it something else?
R. When it receives the light it’s something else because it checked it and divided it into parts and then decided what to go for and what not.
S. In what way is the feeling of the light in the time of the Tzimtzum to the feeling of the light when he enters the Kli with the light that I rejected that I was in the state of rejection of?
R. A very big difference. When the light comes from the host I reject it from everything, the calculation is simple, just not to receive it because otherwise I will be opposite from the host then when I calculate as much as I could receive in order to bestow. So the calculation is as much light that I can receive to enjoy it in order to bestow to the host by enjoying him and then I can receive.
S. It's two separate worlds, the feeling of the light in the time of rejection and Tzimtzum is one feeling in which I feel the Creator in, and while I calculate in order to bestow in the Masach, and the created being feels the light in a completely different way?
R. I hug with Him, with the Creator, not in a complete way but let’s say in 20%.
18. S. (35:46) In the Zivug de Hakaa, coupling by striking, if I taste the direct light then I do a Tzimtzum as soon as I understand if it's too tasty then I immediately stop or do I taste everything and then decide how much I receive?
R. How can you let yourself taste everything? Where do you have the confidence that you can stop at every moment?
S. Exactly, so a glass of water I was able to do the intentions, I can receive. With a salad I already feel that I can't or do I taste everything and then stop?
R. It all happens with the reflected light, the calculation, not in your stomach. When you raise the reflected light when you want to bestow to the host you want to equalize to him, so in that intention you calculate. That is why there is no problem in making a mistake there because it's all above the vessels of reception only with the intention to bestow. First of all you think how can I give him contentment? Then by that you reject, and you calculate, and you taste, no matter what, but it is on rejection, that you are supposedly in the host. What am I causing in the host right now? Then after you checked you say all right I'm going to receive this much and it will be in order to bestow and then you can start receiving it.
S. This process takes place like the differences that goes up and up and up I feel some limit and then I stop or do I look at everything and say okay this is what I can do?
R. No not either. It happens with reflected light, you have a restriction, a screen, reflected light that you rejected everything. Then in the rejected light that you rejected you can start measuring as much as I can receive in order to bestow. Meaning it is above the vessels of reception. You're all imagining that what I decide that I'm going to start taking inside into my stomach to feel pleasures and say up to here. No that is what is only in the intention, in spirituality it all happens in the intentions and then there is a calculation a decision and the calculation.
S. I think about what you said it's a completely different calculation. Another question in the example of the guest and the host, when we advance with the example it creates like an embarrassing state that I'm sitting in front of the host I'm eating more and more and more eventually I eat the whole meal, what about the host he's not eating with me he's just watching with me it is uncomfortable?
R. Invite and show him whether he will feel good or not. You sit in front of the host with your intention to give him contentment, meaning you're sure that he prepared everything for you and with all his heart he is open towards you.
S. In the meal Baal HaSulam gives an example of a meal where you are hosted somewhere and all of this is prepared for you and you eat together. You're not giving food and then being watched while you eat. That's what I'm asking, the Creator takes this meal together with us?
R. Yes that means he's getting pleasure by you getting pleasure, but first you.
S. So he gives it to me and then he serves it to himself and then we eat together?
R. Yes he can’t start eating first.
19. S. (40:49) Calculation happening in the Rosh isn't that what we receive taste and then say until here, it all takes place in the Rosh when the Rosh does assimilation?
R. Everything what happens in the Rosh expands to the Guf.
S. What is the Rosh made of, because we learn only a desire was created?
R. Calculations, but the calculation comes with the checking how many lights, how many flavors, how many forces everything there is in Toch of the Partzuf in the Guf and in that light that came to the Rosh, the Rosh weighs everything calculates everything and decides.
S. In this simulation happened with what? What is the Rosh?
R. Whatever you have in your Rosh and whatever is there expands to the Guf.
S. Let me clarify the question: the essence of the created being is the will to receive, now all the Guf of Partzuf you can understand it's desires. What is the Rosh made of, not from a desire or the desire is so pure that?
R. Not pure. All the desires that are in the Guf, all the abilities that are in the Guf, and the Rosh can divide them into Toch and Sof into lines into more all kinds of things. The Rosh is able to take all the vessels and weigh them against the pleasures that come to those vessels and to scrutinize and calculate.
S. That's clear, that's his action that's how he acts. I'm asking what is he made from what is where is this register all this information?
R. In the Sefirot of Rosh.
S. Sefirot of Rosh, it is not made of a desire?
R. They have a desire, yes.
S. So the Rosh also has some kind of desire?
R. Not some kind, not like in the Toch and Sof, but enforced.
S. Like the roots and the vessels?
R. Yes. Slowly you need to repeat a lot of things, you forgot.
20. S. (43:39) What is this surrounding light in the example of the guest and the host?
R. The light that surrounds the Partzuf is like the host wrapping the guest and sitting next to him at the table and putting all the refreshments before him.
S. The host is giving it to me. I did the actions my teacher explain and reach some kind of state of fulfillment, satiation, I feel full from it. How do I not fill the vessel all the way?
R. You don't filll your own vessel, you fill as much as you can bestow with your own vessel. Maybe your force of bestowal is let's say a quarter of your ability to eat, so that is what you allow yourself.
S. I allow this to myself and here I can stop and say thank you or from here we go to some other Kli, vessel?
R. You don't have a different vessel, you don't have a Masach, you don't have any more of a screen that you were doing it for the host. That is why you stop receiving.
S. So what do I do here in the same moment I feel this pause? How do I continue to work from here?
R. You stop, you tell the host I'm sorry I can't do it anymore, I'm not hungry. Imagine to yourself that you are visiting someone and you are embarrassed to receive more.
S. Don’t I insult him by saying thank you I enjoyed it?
R. But you can’t allow yourself to take more, you think it will be too much.
S. What is the work here with the host?
R. There is no work. You received as much as you could for his benefit and for your own benefit and so on, from this you reach balance.
S. So what returning light do I need to give back for the next degree?
R. You don't have that in your calculation right now. It is not even the place to talk about it.
S. So how do I work?
R. You received, there's nothing else to.
S. That's it, it remains like that?
R. Remains like that until help comes from above that refines your Masach, your screen and then you can receive the second portion the third portion.
21. S. (46:40) What is the vessel for surrounding light? What does it mean to taste only with the intention? Is the intention the vessel to feel the pleasure with?
R. The intention is the vessel to feel the pleasure in.
S. What is the Kli for the surrounding light?
R. The vessel for the surrounding light? That is why it’s called the vessel for surrounding light. There is a vessel for inner light and a vessel for external light.
22. S. (47:21) How can I know how much to receive according to the intention? I know how to appreciate the greatness of the host and there is some transition and from that to what extent can I eat? What is the connection between these two things?
R. As much as you can hold on to the host is greater than you so you can eat in order to bestow.
S. But this happened before eating, we said not while eating.
R. Why not while eating? If it's not while eating you will get a shattering.
S. But I come to eat the next serving when I already know if I can eat it or not?
R. Without the next portion. Even in this portion, this course, you have to know when you stop in order to not receive any more pleasures because in order to bestow you cannot receive anymore.
S. I know in advance how much I'm going to take from this portion?
R. Yes.
S. I have an appreciation for the host?
R. You have coupling by striking in the Rosh where you clothe all the lights, either by that NRNHY into inner and surrounding, and that is how you decide, in as much as you can receive inside it’s all the work of the screen
S. We said that the screen it rejects, even before it can receive the flavors. Not that before there was a flavor and now I do some calculation accordingly?
R. No, the screen checks as much as it can receive the lights that come to it in order to bestow, it weighs it.
S. It weighs what?
R. It measures the pleasures that comes to him and in what way he can receive it to bestow. It's all called the Rosh of the Partzuf. Then from the Rosh whatever there is expands in the Toch.
S. What characterizes the Rosh that it can know exactly what happened?
R. It has all the vessels, all the possibilities, lights, vessels and it can sort them and organize them in a way that it knows exactly as much as it will receive and as much as it will bestow and no more.
S. In the example of the meal how can I know if I need the importance of the host in order to approach it?
R. Ask the host for information that he brings you a calorie check and all kinds of things about that fish and you will calculate it. That's how it happens in the Partzuf and this all happens in the Rosh and only afterwards from what is in the Rosh it expands..
23. S. (50:50) I understand from this that the Rosh actually remembers everything that took place before the Tzimtzum?
R. Of course.
S. That's how he can do it.
R. From beginning of creation to the end the Rosh remembers and gathers all the information.
S. sIn the Rosh there is already a taste of steak and salad etc., and this enables him to do this calculation before it enters the digestive system?
R. Yes.
24. S. (51:27) The flavors that you feel were the returning light is before he felt from the Tzimtzum? The flavor that he feels from the light after he already rejected and now he wants to bestow, these are different flavors than what he felt in the beginning when he did the Tzimtzum?
R.So?
S. So what he had before is not relevant anymore?
R. So there's new ones, so?
S. He works according to the new data that he receives?
R. Constantly he renews that data it's like in a computer.
25. S. (52:14) The returning light of the Rosh of the Partzuf is a calculation similar to the calculation of the Creator. That is why he already adheres to it in the Rosh that there's a clothing here?
R. The reflected light measures the Rosh, yes..
S. Later on because the created being receives and the Creator gives he can receive it from Him in the Guf of the Partzuf?
R. Yes.
S. Where is this hug made, that you said that they hug?
R. In the Toch of the Partzuf, one enters the other. The inner light, the surrounding light, the direct light, the reflected light, all the NRNCHY is in the Toch of the Partzuf.
S. This can’t be done without the calculation, without the Rosh first of all?
R. That's clear obviously, what's in the Rosh expands in the Toch.
26. S. (53:14) Continuing your explanation, this whole process from up down is the result of the Tzimtzum, of the restriction, it is a necessary action in order for him to develop, so why does Baal HaSulam call the Tzimtzum the severe of the severe?
R. Because it is the rejection of the light clothing in the vessel, that is why it is a severe measure. The Creator gives you light, He wants to fill you all the way up and you don't want it, instead of that you're saying I would rather be let's say in 20%, but in order to bestow.
S. The action of Tzimtzum, this enables theKli to, what you explain now, the Rosh and all of the calculations are done from this action of Tzimtzum. It is like it contradicts?
R. I don't understand.
S. On the one hand the action is serious on the other hand without it the created being isn’t the created being.
R. Right, without it the created being is completely annulled towards the Creator towards the light and isn't even felt, right.
27. S. (54:53) The flavors that the created being feels in the light. They don't result from the hunger he has in his belly but from the greatness of the Creator, right?
R. The flavors?
S. Let's say NRNHY, there are all kinds of flavors in the light.
R. Right
S. These flavors that are felt in the created being, it's not that he's fulfilling some kind of hunger?
R. Also, and double of the size of the giver.
S. It means that the Masach is what determines the size of the pleasure from the light because the light is a simple like?
R. Yes.
S. The created being determines the size of the pleasure that he will feel?
R. Yes.
28. R. (55:54) That's how it happens. I was in Istanbul once and I was accepted in the palace that was above the, it was full. How they treated me and all that and you need to also respond in the same way and you have to calculate all that, not with money, but even in humanity it’s like this, it exists.
29. S. (57:10) How will we correct the Masach the common broken Masach?
R. By the greatness of the Creator.
30. S. (57:42) It says that surrounding light is the light that reforms. What is the action that corrects it? What does it reform by pressuring the screen? By that does it correct it?
R. The surrounding light presses. There are more pleasures that belong to the vessels in the Partzuf but the Partzuf says, I don't have a screen, how can I receive it in order to bestow? I can't, In order to receive I can’t so what do we do? That's why I remain in such a state. I received a few percent of what you prepared for me but more than this I cannot, and then there is no choice he says this time that is it, comes out of the meal, returns to the next meal that he’ invited to but then he prepares himself to have more greatness of the host and then he can receive from the host more than he did before because as much as he receives he does a favor to the host, he feels it that way, and then he can receive a bit more. That is already Partzuf AB and also in that he's limited, and then Partzuf SAG ends and so on, until he reaches a state that he can't receive anything and that causes his shattering. I can't, I can't give a pleasure to the host like he wants to give me. End of my life. And here he discovers that there is a different way.

32. S. (01:04:20) I have a general question, may I? The building of the Kli depends on the prayer or the correction of the Masach depends on the prayer? There are many friends that I noticed have a very hard time praying, it’s really hard for them, so it is, a question also request, to think of all these friends because there is no other way we were able to awaken Shai through prayer. We didn't hear him, suddenly we're hearing him non stop.
R. It is endless work that we have to think of all the friends and awaken everybody, awaken everybody. Let's hope that the Creator will help us to feel the greatness of our work that we are Awakening the main part of creation and bringing it closer to Him.
