Daily Lesson (Morning) August 21, 2024.

Part 2: Baal HaSulam. Preface to the Sulam [Ladder] Commentary. Item 27.

Reader: We are studying the Preface to the Sulam, the Ladder Commentary, continuing with item 27. In Hebrew, it's page 210. We are reading again the Preface to the Sulam Commentary, continuing with item 27, titled The Correction of Lines in ZAT and in YESHSUT, item 27.

Reading: (0:28) Item 27 - Thrice. Hence, the first correction the lower seven Sefirot need is to remove the judgments in Malchut that have been mingled in the Sefirot, that is, to simply extend illumination from Hochma Bina of AK, which lowers the Malchut from Bina and returns it to its place (as written in Item 18). At that time, the three vessels Bina and TM return to the Sefira and become the left line, and Keter and Hochma that remained become the right line. Since the degree is completed with five vessels, KHB TM, all five lights NRNHY return to it and the light of Hochma returns to the degree. Then the middle line can unite the two lines with one another and complete the degree with all its corrections.

Reader: Again, item 27.

M. Laitman: (03:24) Meaning, we see here a very unique action, right? As he says, the middle line can unite the two lines with one another and complete the degree with all its corrections. Meaning that, really, what was lacking, where in one part, in the right, there were qualities that returned to the left. And in the left, there was the Aviut, the coarseness, which was lacking in the right. And when they unite, so they complement all of them and the qualities against them. That is called the first correction in the three lines. Should we repeat that? Okay, let us read.

Reader: The Correction of Lines in ZAT and in YESHSUT, item 27.

M. Laitman: You can ask but we're going to continue. Maybe from there, we'll understand the first correction. Well, in any case, ask.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (06:29) There is some process, here, where in the beginning Malchut rises to Bina. And then, as we understand it, the light of Hochma cannot enter these Sefirot. And then, how does he say it, simply, as Baal HaSulam writes later, we simply draw the light of Hochma and lower the Malchut back to its place and then the light can fill all of these phases. What does the vessel gain from this process where Malchut rises, then Malchut descends? It sounds very technical, goes up, goes down, fine. But eventually something changes in the vessel from this whole process. What exactly happens there in the vessel?

M. Laitman: Malchut is the will to receive that incorporates with Bina, and then Bina becomes straightened out through Malchut. And that now is a will to receive whereas beforehand, she rejected it.

Student: What do you mean, it's enriched? How can Bina be enriched through Malchut?

M. Laitman: Because the qualities of Malchut now rise to Bina and then Bina has two kinds of vessels, the vessels of bestowal and the vessels of reception.

Student: Wasn't it like that to begin with, in GAR of Bina and ZAT of Bina?

M. Laitman: That's in one degree. No, it's not that way.

Student: So, this process in which Malchut rises to Bina actually gives Bina, you said, coarseness before? Is that what you mean?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: And then what happens with this coarseness, when Malchut descends back to her place?

M. Laitman: Malchut can descend lower only on condition when a force comes from above. The upper light that illuminates. Let us see, let us see. The next item?

Reading: (08:52) Item 28 - Twice. The second correction is to strengthen the Parsa (mentioned above in Item 17), which is the ending force of Malchut that rose to Bina, so it will never be canceled. And even when Malchut descends from Bina, her ending force remains in Bina’s place. Then Bina and TM, which unite with the degree, should rise above the Parsa and unite there with the degree. Yet, when they are below the Parsa, they cannot connect to the degree, even though Malchut has already descended from there, since her ending force remains after her descent from there, as well.

Reader: Again, item 28.

M. Laitman: Does someone want to ask?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (11:38) It says that Malchut descended from Bina but the AHP does not connect, in spite of it.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: How can such a thing happen?

M. Laitman: There are a few reasons for it but it is enough for us to know that in the descent of Malchut and Bina below, it could not be that the AHP that had fallen returned to the degree, as if nothing had happened. But there is already, you could say a flaw, a sign, that they cannot connect in return as they had earlier. And there are a few outcomes of that.

Student: What does the descent of Malchut provide, nevertheless?

M. Laitman: We'll immediately see the second correction, he says. Let’s move on.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (13:02) What is the ending force of Malchut?

M. Laitman: That the upper light cannot descend below Malchut. Where Malchut is, that is where the expansion of the upper light ends.

Student: But he writes that Malchut descended, but she left in the Parsa her ending force.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: What is the difference between Malchut and Malchut's ending force? What is the difference between them?

M. Laitman: That the upper light cannot descend below Parsa, the light of Hochma, it means.

Student: It's unclear, if Malchut is no longer there, what does it mean that her ending force remains there?

M. Laitman: Despite Malchut descending, she received forces and can position herself in that but her ending force also remains at the same place as she was. Katnut, smallness, in any case it is registered, you could say, in the Partzuf, and that takes place.

Student: Where Malchut is, it's impossible to receive because of the disparity of form. Earlier, I explained to the friend that the ascent of Malchut causes the incorporation of her quality in Bina. This is something that did not occur before. So now, when Malchut descends, actually the ending force is the result of the incorporation of Malchut in Bina. Is this what gives Bina the possibility to continue this ending?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Reading: (15:17) Item 29. When Bina and TM rise above the Parsa and connect to the degree, they do not actually become one degree with the two vessels Keter and Hochma. This is because there remains a difference between the two vessels Keter and Hochma, which were never blemished because they never left their degree, and the three vessels Bina and TM that departed their degree were blemished during the Katnut and have now returned. That difference turns them into two lines, right and left, where Keter and Hochma of the degree become the right line, and Bina and TM of the degree become the left line (as it is written in VaYakhel, Item 130).

M. Laitman: (16:25) That’s clear, right, meaning in the same vessels that had fallen from the degree and returned to it. So, in those there is this imprint, this memory of them being below, and then they join those heightened vessels of Keter and Hochma that are already on the left line. Let’s go on.

Reading: (17:00) Item 30 - Twice. This difference and these right and left do not refer to a location because the spiritual is above place and above time. Instead, a difference means that they do not want to connect with one another. Also, right refers to light of Hassadim and left refers to light of Hochma.

The thing is that Keter and Hochma of the degree, which remain in it during the Katnut—with light of Hassadim—settle for this light of Hassadim during the Gadlut, as well, after Malchut has descended from Bina. This is because this light was not flawed. They do not want to receive the light of Hochma and GAR that have now returned to the degree, with the return of Bina and TM to the degree (written above in Item 18).

For this reason, Keter and Hochma are considered the right line, meaning light of Hassadim, and these Bina and TM, which, upon their return to the degree, introduce light of Hochma and GAR to the degree, do not want to unite with Keter and Hochma, since they keep to the light of Hassadim that they had during the Katnut. Bina and TM have higher regard for the light of Hochma that has now come to the degree; hence, they are considered the left line since they keep to the light of Hochma.

M. Laitman: Questions, is that clear or not, I don't understand what it means when you have no response. What's unclear, I think it's a simple action here. Well?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (19:55) The right line remains the same in Gadlut and in Katnut because it only has Hassadim? While the left line changes between Katnut and Gadlut?

M. Laitman: Keter and Hochma that remain in the degree, so they have no flaw, they are not blemished. But Bina and ZON, they have a blemish because they need the light of Hochma that they don't have. From their source, they don't have that, therefore, they become the left line, and Keter and Hochma become the right line, that is all.

Student: What is the difference in the left line in Katnut versus Gadlut?

M. Laitman: Wait, where is that? We don't ask that way.

Reader: What do I think, maybe continue reading or repeat? Well, continue.

M. Laitman: We continue to read. What do you want to ask?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (21:12) In Katnut, smallness, Keter and Hochma only receive the light of Hassadim, they do not receive Hochma?

M. Laitman: In Katnut, all the Sefirot receive the light of Hassadim.

Student: Why, actually, Keter and Hochma, like you said were not blemished, let them receive Hochma? Why should they only receive Hassadim?

M. Laitman: They have no problem, they don't work with the vessels of reception, you understand? However, all the rest of the vessels want Hochma, they need Hochma.

Student: Keter and Hochma do not need Hochma, this is why they remain in Hassadim?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Even though they are the most pure, the most refined vessels, where Hochma can be there. There shouldn't be a problem, it's not going to blemish them?

M. Laitman: It's not according to the degree. How can it be that Hochma dresses in Keter and Hochma?

Student: So, when Malchut descends, and the vessels of ZAT, the lower seven apparently receive Hochma. What happens to the vessels of GAR, the first three? They remain in Hassadim, they will never receive Hochma?

M. Laitman: Let us see, let us see what he writes. Okay, well, item 30?

Reader: (22:58) Item 30 (again)

M. Laitman: Is that okay?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (25:22) It is written that Bina and Malchut when they return above the Parsa, do not want to connect with Keter and Hochma because there's Hassadim, and they're not from the same type. They kind of didn't want to connect, because they only want Hochma. They don't see that they can receive the light of Hochma without Hassadim. Because, nevertheless, even Bina came down below the Parsa where usually there's no Hassadim there, and, nevertheless, Hesed came down there when they came down.

M. Laitman: No, they can go down below the Parsa because that limitation of the Parsa only influences the light of Hochma.

Student: But Bina still goes down there.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Bina is Hassadim.

M. Laitman: Well?

Student: Below the Parsa, we said that we're not receiving because there's no Hassadim there to receive Hochma.

M. Laitman: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Below the Parsa, what did you say?

Student: Below the Parsa there's only a vessel of reception without Hassadim, therefore, we're not allowed to receive anything there. That's why it rises above the Parsa in order to make a spiritual degree in which you can receive the light of Hochma but there is the light of Hassadim there in Keter and Hochma that has the light of Hassadim. So, why wouldn't they want to connect with them?

M. Laitman: Who doesn't want?

Student: It's written that they rise back up, Bina and TM rise back to their degree, they don't want to connect with the Hassadim and can't receive anything without Hassadim, actually.

M. Laitman: No, wait. We were number 30? “This difference, and these right and left, do not refer to a location because the spiritual is above place and above time. Instead, a difference means that they do not want to connect with one another”. They don't want to connect, that's clear, that's according to their nature. “Also, the right refers to the light of Hassadim, and left refers to the light of Hochma. The thing is, that Keter and Hochma of the degree, which remain in it during the Katnut, with the light of Hassadim, they settle for this light of Hassadim during the Gadlut as well after Malchut has descended from Bina. This is because the slate was not flawed. They do not want to receive the light of Hochma and GAR that have now returned to the degree with the return of Bina and TM to the degree. For this reason, Keter and Hochma are considered the right line, meaning the light of Hassadim, and these Bina and TM, which upon their return to the degree introduce light of Hochma and GAR to the degree, do not want to unite with Keter and Hochma. Since they keep the light of Hassidim that they had during the Katnut, Bina and TM have higher regard for the light of Hochma that has now come to the degree, hence they are considered the left line since they keep to the light of Hochma.” So, what isn't clear about that?

Student: It's not clear why they don't want the light of Hassadim, because without the light of Hassadim, they couldn't do?

M. Laitman: It's not what they want, yes? They don't have a deficiency for Hassadim.

Student: Right, they want Hochma.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: You can't receive Hochma.

M. Laitman: You can't.

Student: We have to want also Hassadim because that's how He raises them below the Parsa.

M. Laitman: But they don't have a need for Hassadim and they cannot receive the light of Hochma.

Student: What's this combination between left and right, where they're in this way?

M. Laitman: There's a deficiency, but each one is in their own deficiency. Who wants to add?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (30:20) How is it possible that Malchut goes down from Bina to her place before she's in a state of Hochma?

M. Laitman: What can she receive, if she stays in Bina?

Student: Keter of Hochma they can extend to her all the light she needs?

M. Laitman: No, without, without ZAT of Bina and Zeir Anpin and Malchut, she can't.

Student: She felt judgments, the Dinim, she went up to Bina. So, what did she receive there when she went up to Bina?

M. Laitman: She didn't.

Student: What did she do there?

M. Laitman: She ends the degree, she's there in the light of Hassadim and she doesn't have any Hochma.

Student: And what causes her to go down? Why does she descend back?

M. Laitman: The upper light shines on all the vessels and from that, Zeir Anpin and Malchut, they go down to their place below the Parsa.

Student: They descend because they don't feel like they receive what they need there, or because they finished?

M. Laitman: They can't receive.

Student: When she goes down she doesn't know what to expect to find there because there's no connection? She doesn't receive Hochma, there, she feels she doesn't have a Hochma and simply cancels that state?

M. Laitman: We'll see soon. Okay, Reader, please, continue with item 31.

Reading: (32:14) Item 31 - Twice. This difference between the right line and the left line is also considered the division of the right from the left (see Beresheet 1, p 57, and the Idra Raba, Item 214). The right line holds the Hassadim and wishes to cancel the light of Hochma in the left line and ordain the light of Hassadim alone. Conversely, the left line, which holds the light of Hochma, wishes to cancel the light of Hassadim in the right line and ordain the light of Hochma. Because of this dispute, neither shines, since the light of Hassadim in the right line is deficient of light of Hochma, like a Guf without a Rosh, and the light of Hochma in the left line is complete darkness because light of Hochma cannot shine without Hassadim (as it is written in Beresheet 1, p 47).

M. Laitman: Clear? I think here it's not a problem. Why is everyone silent?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (33:50) What is this whole dispute between them, right now? What's the beginning of the dispute between right and left, what is this process? This is the beginning of the correction, seemingly? What is this scrutiny that they're doing, here?

M. Laitman: The vessels of Keter and Hochma, and GAR of Bina, there's light but no vessels. In the vessels of ZAT, of Bina, Zeir Anpin and Malchut, you have vessels but you don't have lights. What to do in order to join them both, that they can receive vessels between one another, between right and left, left and right, and they will have also Hassadim and also Hochma?

Student: What actually, if we were to continue reading, then we'll see here the beginning of the process of incorporation between the two? Actually, the correction of the middle line?

M. Laitman: Let's see, yes.

Reader: 31 (again).

M. Laitman: Is this condition clear, why they're both in the darkness? Also, the right line and also the left line? Each one of them doesn't want to mix with the other. Let's keep going, we'll go back later. It's not too bad.

Reading: (36:44) Item 32: There is no correction to this dispute except through the middle line, created by the lower one that ascends there for MAN in the form of the middle line. A coupling from the upper light is made on the screen of the lower one, called screen of Hirik, and the level of Hassadim emerges on it, and this is the middle line. On one hand, this screen diminishes the GAR of the left line, and on the other hand, it increases the light of Hassadim. By these two, it compels the left line to unite with the right line.

Thus, the light of VAK of Hochma of the left line clothes the Hassadim in the right line, and now it can shine, completing the left line. Also, the light of Hassadim in the right line unites with the Hochma in the left line, thus obtaining the light of GAR, which completes the right line. Thus, you see how the middle line completes the two lines, right and left. This explains in general terms the correction of the three lines that was established in the seven lower Sefirot.

M. Laitman: Yes, when is it not clear?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (38:53) From this Letter, until this point he talked about the GAR and the ZAT and he gradually kind of spinned them from upper and lower to right and left. And kind of also defined the Parsa, how it's between them, and gradually builds this. And now, all of a sudden, he brought in the third one.

M. Laitman: What's the third one?

Student: The middle line, and here, there's something that's really not clear in the secret of the middle line, which is a coupling of the upper light upon the screen of the lower one. What screen is he talking about, where is this screen? Is it right and left?

M. Laitman: Where are you reading?

Student: Item 32. There's no correction to this dispute, except through the middle line, created by the lower one, that ascends there for MAN.

M. Laitman: To MAN?

Student: In the form of the middle line, a coupling from the upper light is made on the screen of the lower one.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So, what, there is so much here: The first question is, where does this man come from? The right line or the left line? And the second question, and where is this coupling taking place, of this Partzuf of the right and left?

M. Laitman: Right and left, wait, wait. Let me, one second. “There is no correction to this dispute, except through the middle line. It will include the right and the left in it, created by the lower one that ascends there for MAN. In the form of the middle line, a coupling from the upper light is made on the screen of the lower one, called screen of Hirik and the level of Hassadim emerge on it, and this is the middle line. On one hand, the screen diminishes the GAR of the left line; and on the other hand, it increases the light of Hassadim. By these two, it compels the left line to unite with the right line. Thus, the light of VAK of Hochma of the left line clothes the Hassadim in the right line. And now it can shine, the light of Hochma in the light of Hassadim, completing the left line because now it can bring the light of Hochma to that degree. Also, the light of Hassadim in the right line unites with the Hochma in the left line, thus obtaining the light of GAR which completes the right line. Thus, you see how the middle line completes the two lines, right and left. This explains, in general, the correction of the three lines.” So, what isn't clear?

Student: The first question I'll ask: There's the right line and there's the left line, and this coupling that takes place in the middle line, which causes them to start working together. So, the first question is where is this coupling taking place of the middle line, which causes these two lines to unite, where is this done?

M. Laitman: In the Rosh of the vessels of the world of Nekudim. You could say that it's not the world of Nekudim, anymore, but the beginning.

Student: What he explained before that is that the Rosh of Keter and Hochma are the right line, and then, Bina and TM are the left line.

M. Laitman: Yes?

Student: So again, where is this Rosh that you're talking about of the middle line?

M. Laitman: The middle line has Rosh and Toch, Sof, and everything is built in the world of Nekudim.

Student: The work with the two lines is, like we said in the previous lesson, it's this new technology to working before the light.

M. Laitman: Yes?

Student: So, still in this new technique, the right line and the left line which are, seemingly, new, or understood vessels, and where you say that it's in the world of Nekudim, it's not clear where this middle line comes.

M. Laitman: From the connection between them, from the coupling that is made. He writes that, where is it?

Student: So, specifically by the connection between them, when this coupling of the upper light is done on the screen of the lower one, then they manage to connect. There's like some external matter that causes the connection of the right and left, that's how it sounds.

M. Laitman: Item 32. “There is no correction to this dispute except through the middle line, created by the lower one that ascends there for MAN in the form of the middle line. A coupling from the upper light is made on the screen of the lower one, called the screen of Hirik, and the love of Hassadim emerge on it, and this is the middle line. On one hand, this screen diminishes the GAR of the left line; and on the other hand, it increases the light of Hassadim. By these two, it compels the left line to unite with the right line, thus, the light of VAK of Hochma, of the left line, clothes the Hassadim in the right line. And now it can shine, Hochma and Hassadim, completing the left line. Also, the light of Hassadim in the right line unites with the Hochma in the left line, thus obtaining the light of GAR, which completes the right line. Thus, you see how the middle line completes the two lines, right and left. This explains, in general terms, the correction of the three lines.” So, ask, I think that maybe a few times, not once, you read number 32, so then you understand what's happening.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (47:44) What's new in item 32, that all of a sudden some lower one has been added that comes and asks. And then, suddenly, the right and left in the degree create something new?

M. Laitman: Yes?

Student: Beforehand, it talked about a degree, there was Gar, Galgalta ve Eynaim, then the screen came down, also a left line was added?

M. Laitman: Because now there's MAN.

Student: Where is the lower one, all of a sudden, in this?

M. Laitman: The vessels that fell, the vessels of reception fell downward, now they want to receive. So, they rise upward and ask.

Student: Those vessels of reception that have fallen and then returned to their degree, he calls them, left.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: There was only Galgalta ve Eynaim, then the screen went down from Bina, back to Malchut and also the left line is appearing, and what was before is right; okay, so there's a dispute between them. Now what is he saying, suddenly comes the lower one, and asks from them, raises them MAN. And for the sake of the lower one, they now create this middle line.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: So beforehand there was a degree and now all of a sudden to this degree, a lower one that asks of them is added. Where does this lower one come from, suddenly?

M. Laitman: It's part of the vessels: ZAT of the previous degree, right, now they're in there below. And they can raise upward and demand the light of correction, the light of fulfillment, doesn't matter. But they have a connection with the upper one, they used to be with Galgalta ve Eynaim, now they're below.

Student: Before that, he calls this ZAT the left, he doesn't call it the lower one.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Now, he's calling it the lower one.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: They're bringing something additional with them from there?

M. Laitman: Yes, it came out of the upper degree where they were together, like in GAR and ZAT. And now it's not GAR and ZAT but it's an upper one and a lower one.

Student: So I'll focus my question: The AHP emerged from the degree and now they came back to the degree. What do they bring back with them to the degree when they return?

M. Laitman: What do they bring, they bring vessels that can connect to Galgalta ve Eynaim. And bring them to Galgalta ve Eynaim, actually to everyone, to bring them coarseness, force of attraction.

Student: But he calls it the man of the lower one, is it a request, what is this man of the lower one that is suddenly coming here in 32 and being mentioned, which wasn't there seemingly before?

M. Laitman: What are the vessels of AHP lacking that came out of the degree? To go back to the degree and connect to Galgalta ve Eynaim? What do you think?

Student: I don't know, I'm asking because I don't know what this new demand is suddenly that comes to them?

M. Laitman: They all want to be in wholeness, each one according to their degree. The wholeness of ZAT that fell from the connection of Galgalta ve Eynaim, that they don't have vessels of bestowal. So, they need vessels of bestowal in order to connect to those vessels, and then a complete degree that they will have in order to bring the upper light, to draw it. To receive in order to bestow as much as possible.

Student: So, the GAR only wants Hassadim, the ZAT wants the light of Hochma and that's a dispute. And suddenly something happens that unites them and he calls it the MAN of the lower one. What's this thing that has been added suddenly, that causes them to truly attain the wholeness in this state between them?

M. Laitman: But without connecting to GAR, they can't receive anything. That's why it turns out that by their MAN, they receive a force to ascend and connect the Keter and Hochma.

Student: I think that's what the friend was asking also, is the man theirs of that degree? Or is it something external that comes and demands of them, some lower external one that comes and asks, that I am asking for you to unite for me.

M. Laitman: Yes, the lower one asks and he discovers a deficiency.

Student: What is that lack, what does the lower one lack from the degree?

M. Laitman: The lower one lacks forces to bestow, and this force he can receive only if the upper light clothes on him.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (53:38) That's actually my actual question, where does the lower one have the power to diminish the left line and to increase the Hassadim in order to unite the lines?

M. Laitman: Let's see, I don't know, yet.

Student: But that's what he writes that he's doing, here.

M. Laitman: NO TRANSLATION

Student: The lower one raises the MAN in order to receive forces, you said. And he writes how to diminish them, where on one hand he diminishes this GAR on the left line. On the other hand, he increases the light of Hassadim, and from these two, he compels the left line to connect with the right line. Where does she have this ability to do so?

M. Laitman: From asking, meaning, it's desire is a true desire, that the upper one feels that He has to answer upon it.

Student: Because of that, He diminishes the Hochma and intensifies the Hassadim due to the desire of the lower one?

M. Laitman: Due to the desire of the lower one.

Student: Again, now when it receives now, it's actually receiving VAK of Hochma, right? Because it had to diminish the, why does he write that it completes the left line and then he writes?

M. Laitman: That it diminishes the left?

Student: Yes, that's why he writes that it's completing the left line because it's, kind of, not whole.

M. Laitman: Because Hochma doesn't shine without Hassadim.

Student: Right but it's not the whole left line, it's only VAK of Hochma.

M. Laitman: Okay, so?

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (56:17) It seems to me that the answer is actually in Item 27, in its end, where he says that the moment they rose back, the degree was completed, and then all the lights entered at once. The whole NRNHY enters the degree and the degree is completed. It could be that from the lights entering, the force of this request happens, of the unification of the two lights. Because without the lights of NRNHY, the degree cannot be equal. That's what he says in the beginning, in advance.

M. Laitman: Could be.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (57:03) Every two or three days, we're learning this material. And I see friends, which I'm envious of, that they can truly have long conversations with lots of questions about it. I, altogether, have no connection to all that we're talking about. And I'm asking myself, how do I make the most of this lesson so that I can connect with my friends and I also feel this connection. In three weeks, we have a convention that's supposed to strengthen our connection in the Tens and I don't feel that I, there's like no wearing of the hearts. I don't feel like we're rubbing our hearts, or anything that's advancing in that direction.

M. Laitman: In human nature, a person has a tendency, either this way or that way. It's like math and physics, or music and dance, and so on. It's two things that are pretty distant from one another. We also see it on people, how they come to one side or the other side, how difficult it is for them to be connected together, right? But it'll come because it's all in you, in each and every one.

Student: Yes, I'm certain that what we're learning is necessary and in the end I will have to somehow connect to it.

M. Laitman: This is how we work, think, decide, exist. Just we're not aware, yet, to what's happening to us.

Student: We're just asking for some advice. For like two hours we're learning, and it's like I can't connect to any place of feeling that I'm advancing towards a convention, that I'm supposed to be connected with my friends to attain something in the connection between us.

M. Laitman: I understand, so I'm telling you, there are people that are very on the edges.

Student: There's the feeling that there's like ten very strong friends here in understanding. And all the rest are kind of like not participating, they're just watching.

M. Laitman: That's normal, it's always like that because the material, itself, isn't in our feelings but we constantly have to imagine. To do, like, these interactions in order to make it tangible, to see it.

Student: Where do we discover the wearing of the hearts after that, from this?

M. Laitman: In the work before it. We need to keep going a bit and then we'll see that a bit of this went into each and every one. But what you're demanding is right, you're right.

Student: I'm not coming with complaints, here, God forbid, I just want advice how to connect to the lesson.

M. Laitman: I understand, I would also want that.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:01:16) I'll continue that: From the feeling of connection between us, and then the feeling of separation, we need to feel this dispute suddenly? And this is why this resists to that?

M. Laitman: As it's written?

Student: Yes? The way it was written, and also the way we need to feel it between us.

M. Laitman: If you can.

Student: No, I want to bring it closer, to really feel like it's close to us, where we can feel a connection between us and to feel from this, the power. And we can also feel the opposite of that, we can feel that we're not connected. And these are two things that, there's a dispute between them, that they contradict one another. So, from these two states we need to come to a request?

M. Laitman: Yes, correct, it's good as an example.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:02:32) In the beginning, there are two forces that have a tendency to expand because no one wants the other, it wants to control the other. And then there's this lower one and then our role as lower ones, is to raise MAN. And then we're doing two things, not just filling the vessels but, also, letting the system operate. So, I think that the change in me, from this reading, is that the role is not just for you but for the whole of creation.

M. Laitman: Yes.

Question (Petah Tikva Center): (01:03:25) I think that there's a little confusion, not confusion, but if we look at it systemically, it's more understood. We're talking about Nekudim, about the Partzuf SAG, Nekudim of SAG in which actually prior to that, the light would reach only the Tabur. And below the Tabur, Malchut wants to reach more bestowal, also in the vessels below Tabur, to bring light. So, she demands the light of Hochma, so he's explaining the technology of how it's done, right? So now, according to what we're learning, the first question is: He says that Malchut ascended to Bina, then descended to Bina, from Bina. And then he said it's like a flaw in the vessels of ZAT de Bina, and then we have to correct it. Then we have the MAN of the lower one, that has to strengthen, and Hassadim, and then comes another degree of Hassadim that connects those two lines. So, before Malchut rose to Bina, so there was wholeness in all that degree of Bina? That other NRNHY was there, because it's Hassadim?

M. Laitman: Yes?

Student: So how can it be NRHY, there's also Hochma, or is it not needed?

M. Laitman: Correct.

Student: So, there's everything, just these vessels, complete, they don't need Hochma. And then when Malchut ascended and gave its deficiency, and then descended. So now the deficiency remains, and there's the two lines, right?

M. Laitman: Yes?

Student: So, the lower one is that Malchut, that one below, that's the Malchut?

M. Laitman: Yes.

Student: Then it demands a strengthening in Hassadim in order to bring the light of Hochma. And then the middle line is built.

M. Laitman: Let's say this, yes.

Student: Now, this middle line, it doesn't go below Parsa, what it explained. Even though it's for the lower one but it doesn't go below?

M. Laitman: Yes, correct, well?

Student: Because that's the Gadlut, actually.

M. Laitman: No, there's this, the correction of the lines. There's a correction first in the Rosh, then the Toch and Sof.

Student: So, that's the corrections of the lines in the Rosh.

M. Laitman: Okay, well, let’s say, that's the material.

Reader: Next is the third part of the lesson, selected excerpts about Donations and Tithing.
