Prayer - Selected Excerpts from the Sources, #11
1. Rav’s Introduction: We are continuing the same topic of prayer, this is a very important issue because if we do not turn to the Creator we are not created beings, we are just like the still, vegetative and animate. It is only the human who is above what the Creator created. The human elevates himself to be as the Creator to be independent in creation, knowing how to turn to the Creator and how to invite from the Creator a personal response for himself. Otherwise, he is not considered a created being, he is just included in the whole of a creation and this is why we need to nevertheless know how to turn how to get the Creator to turn back to us? How to enter into a dialogue with him with the mutual connection “I am to my beloved my beloved to me”? Then by us turning to the Creator we begin to be similar to him in what? In that that we ask from him to establish our desire, the whole of creation is a desire and any appeal to the Creator can be as a means to establish a new desire in me, in you, in him, in all of us. Therefore, if we ask, if we obligate the Creator to change our desire then by this we actually take part in creation and we establish creation and in that way we are responsible for the new desires the Creator creates in us.
Of course, the forces are his, the work is the Creator's, it is the work of the Lord that it is according to our request prayer this is a why the prayer from our side is the only work we can perform in spirituality and the Creator is ready to do His work in order to establish us in the way we are asking. Therefore, this is actually how we build ourselves using the force of the Creator in whatever he prepared for us and this is how we ask him to do this and do that and this is how we build ourselves like a small child asking the grownups to do things for him. This is how we start until we reach the state until we become partner's, equal partners with him and accordingly we enter adhesion with Him, connection and this is how we reach the Gmar Tikkun, final correction becoming Adam that person who is similar to the Creator. Reaching attachment to the Creator the appeal to the Creator includes two parts like in breathing we have a movement when we inhale the air and when we exhale it to make room for a new portion of the air. It is the same here, we always have states when we feel that we are full of air we have a connection with the Creator, we received from Him, we can ask we can turn to him and there are states when we do not even feel that we have any connection to Him that we turn to him and the Creator is responding to us and he's doing something.
So we have this and those all the time such states and the need to know how to establish them correctly how to use both we have always both these and those but how to use correctly the darkness also the lack of state we have no connection Creator and also the light a state where we do have a tight connection with Hm. How can we use both states, as it says for yours is the day and yours is the night and the darkness will shine as light so we need to know how to use a state where we do not feel any connection to the Creator. How to awaken such a state specifically there,we have to behave because all our work is specifically in the night when we have no connection to the Creator? How can we establish the future connection and this is specifically the place where we can arrange ourselves, build ourselves, connect, prepare ourselves with a connection to the Creator. Later on as a result comes at the time of connection which is the day. We have to always be ready to use everything optimally both the day and the night and the two complete each other.
This is why through such incursions we have to see our whole life let's see in relation to the group, there are times when I contribute to the group and there are times when I received from the group, so it is always through such incursions in and out out and in. Also in the prayer in each and every thing we have to know and we have to accustom ourselves that our inclination movement is always forward, but how can we correctly use each and every state that the Creator arranged in creation. It is like breathing, I cannot inhale if I do not exhale before it so all of these movements, coming closer and then distancing from all of these movements coming and going we have the walking and coming closer to the goal. There is an article about this with coming closer and distancing. Specifically by this we advance even though we are in a prayer. The prayer has to be different in the state of distancing and in the states of connection and then each and every state. We have to try in the ten later and see how a part of it is in ascents the other part is in descent, sometimes the Creator is playing a trick with us darkness descends on everybody sometimes it is the opposite. We are in an elated state, awakened, so all of these states and we get to know really well and we learn how to use them for the attainment of the purpose, the goal. Well, there is a lot to talk about and there are writings and we will find those things in the writings and then we will find the answers, in the meantime let's answer a few questions.
2. S. (09:01). You said that when we return to the Creator we are independent so what did you mean and what are we independent from?
R. We have to be dependent on everything we get from the Creator, the awakening, the lack of upliftment, the day and night all of these things, but we have to arrange these things correctly so that everything we get from above take into account, we do not throw anything away. We learn how to correctly, efficiently, effectively use both the states of darkness and the state of light. The state of darkness can be that I do not feel that I have any connection to the Creator, he is hidden from me I do not feel that I have my own upliftment in a state of like crumbling, lacking any spirit, anything. Even in such a state I have to understand that because we are in the ten, the Creator specifically through the connection between us gives us an opportunity to use every moment of existence in the most effective way towards progress.
3. S. (10:49) What is the difference between connection in the ten of work on connection in the states of light and in the states of darkness?
R. We have to work in a different way as it says to tell your mercy in the day and your faith in the night, so accordingly the way the Creator shines for is more or less or different illumination during the day and the night as we feel this as the other night. Accordingly, we have to arrange our work and it needs to always end with a prayer so we have prayers which relates to the feeling of the day and related to the feeling of the night. During the day when we feel that we are connected, we are full of force, of upliftment and prayers. Other times when we feel that we do not have any strength and we don't have a connection between as we don't have connection with the Creator. Nevertheless, we always work as we get these states from the Creator purposefully to use them correctly and the work at night is the really important one, because they are preparing ourselves for the work in the day. We will learn this later in TES, the study of the Ten Sefirot how we have the night shifts and how we have to go through them and prepare ourselves like guards for the morning.
4. S. (12:57) This example of breathing inhaling and exhaling when we connect with the friends in prayer truly feel that you're inhaling but how to exhale that air without waiting for the Creator to take this lack?
R. We have to determine by ourselves through ascents and descents when we relate to the descents as ascents then we will understand these things that we are going through that this is actually the creation of the deficiency, a strong, new, desire to receive, which we have to work on in order to connect even more in the darkness. To the extent that we connect and our connection it is also through the prayer, because we by ourselves have no spiritual force not to connect or to correct the desire but when we prepare it at night then we are ready for the work of the day, we will learn this later and we will see them from the writings.
S. You also said that thanks to this work we are rewarded with the personal approach from the Creator.
R. I turn from the whole ten to the Creator and ask for the entire ten and then I also hear from the Creator and then I can hear his attitude to me through the entire ten and this will also learn later, we will learn it through experience because there is none as wise as the experienced.
S. What does it mean a personal communication with the Creator?
R. We can't hear the Creator unless we turn to Him through the ten. You can hear something but this is not really related to progress and correction. We need to realize that in our times the correction can be as the Baal HaSulam writes in The Last Generation only through as also how Rabash writes only through the ten because I dwell within my own people.
S. ....
R. By us being connected via can hear all of us maybe we don't even hear it because we have such friends and this kind of friends in the group but everybody receives everybody but there are those who can already feel that they are receiving it and others don't feel it yet but potentially everybody receives it, it will come.

5. S. (17:53) We talked about how all the disruptions that come, they are aimed towards our shortcoming in our connection, so does he need to show us exactly what these shortcomings, mistakes are and pray for their correction?
R. I don't think we can understand through the states we are going through what we are having, what we don't have, we can't even detect the Upper force. We don't know what we have to correct precisely, we are in the general correction when we are still not connected, later when we would be connected to a certain extent, we will understand what the Creator is demanding from us and how to establish ourselves to be a ten together. By that we will establish each time a Partzuf spiritual each time for the reception of the light inside of it in a different way, in a greater more important they both in the intensity and in quality but in the meantime we cannot do it, we do not yet have a connection between us at all so we could feel that there is a force between us, uniting us, filling us, establishing us and later we will start to work with it.
6. S. (19:36) He writes that the person must believe that the contentment extends to the Creator when the person prays to him, where can we get this confidence as long as we haven't received any answer to the prayer, that the Creator is getting contentment.
R. We need to believe in it, it is like a baby, it does not matter what he does, he brings contentment to the mother by simply existing. If we try to connect between us even a little bit it is considered that we already exist or we want to exist with respect to the upper force, the Creator and by that we already begin to give contentment. Each and every inclination towards the connection between us gives contentment to the Creator. Specifically, especially when we want to connect between us in order to create this contentment to him. Let's say that the Creator’s mood, his spirit is in our hands. And this is why we have to be very concerned about the connection between us and learn how to use this correctly because by this actually is our only means to bestow to the upper one. According to the extent of the connection between us, the degrees of connection between us in the ten, in all kinds of possible forms and these forms are numerous. There are many different forms in which we can connect between us. Through these combinatorics and the connections between us, this way, that way, when each opens up more and gets to know more what's inside of him and what's inside the others and how we can build systems of connections between us. How much by this we bestow to the creator and how much by that we give the Creator an opportunity to bestowing that connection between us. This is our work and there is no more. By this we establish creation so that it goes through all the possible states in order to come closer to the form of the Creator and ultimately we reach resembling him completely.
S.. What does the feeling of confidence depend on? That each friend in the ten sees that even though his prayer is not answered, we are still bestowing upon the Creator?
R The feeling of confidence will begin to be established in us when we feel more and more helpless, if I am not connected to the 10 and if I am connected to the ten, then I can feel that I have confidence and joy. I am in the process, I am connected with the upper force and this we have the feeling even from this world.
7. S. (23:14) By what do we learn the prayer of connection in the ten?
R. We established this prayer by ourselves, by wanting to bestow to the Creator so that he will come closer to us, to bestow to us, to reform us, connect us, arrange us, that we will be ready to discover him. That single force between us, the Creator is a single force that is unity, the concept of one. We need to see therefore how to establish ourselves as one and by this make ourselves congruent with the Creator. Our first spiritual form is when we connect into the concept of one. In the lightest, smallest, most simple degree, but we already have between us some kind of connection, what is already considered a ten and from here on we already receive a connection with the Creator and we start to feel how we are connected with him; one receives one.
8. S. (24:43) How do we establish the proper work between us in the ten. There are friends who say do not do any actions, only focus on the internally, others are saying to do as many actions as possible. What is the right direction?
R. Each has their own inclination from birth, meaning from that point in which he is in the system of Adam. Therefore, what can I tell you, we must not pressure each other but instead we should patiently realize that if we are in a ten, then it is already arranged so and we have to care for some kind of mutual understanding, connection, support and everything will work out. Besides that you cannot demand from the friends to be similar to one another. Actually the more different they are from each other they have a greater ability to discover the Creator in a way that it is greater.
S. So to try to look for the middle line in the ten?
R. I don't know, I don't want to answer you using your words, because who knows what you understand by the middle line. You need to try nevertheless to read what we read and to actualize these writings as much as you can and even though each one understands according to their mind, to their development nevertheless try to advance this way. So I add another article and another thing and this is what you have to simply swallow and what do you do with a baby? You let the baby eat and sleep, eat and sleep doesn't need anything more this. This is how it is with us, another article and another break, another article and another break. This is how it is, bit by bit we will advance and relate to each other patiently. Of course, we will reach states when each one wants to kill the others but along with that we will have other states where we are in such connection and Arvut that each is fully trusting the others and all of these states will come intermittently, changing themselves night and day between us and we have to get used to them and work with both of them.
9. S. (27:57) To never stop searching for the new forms of connections and we always have to be in motion but not to pressure the friends?
R. I don't want to pressure the ten at all. I try to be connected to them as much as possible and try to show them how much I am connected to the goal. This is the most correct form of bestowal.
10. S. (28:34) When he says that the Creator hates the body, what is this state in the ten?
R. We don't need to consider this for the time being. We do not know what it means that the Creator hates the body. It means that he is in opposition to it, hatred means lack of congruence, that the desire of the one is not like the desire of the other.
11. S. (29:16) In the text he writes that from the heavens one got the power to discover the will to receive, how to identify that moment?
R. When it comes, you will be able to detect it. Don't worry from the heavens they give it to you they will make sure that you will see it, so don't worry you will understand that this is the will to receive and you need to work with it.
12. S. (29:54) So maintaining the prayer it is on the condition that we have pleasure from turning to the Creator but what to do when we have no pleasure from bestowal? The prayer escapes us.
R. The group is always in different states that there are people that are up and there are people down. In very special cases the group is all in high or there are cases that are even more special, when all the group is in a down state. This is why we need to know how to use all these states. In short, there is no answer to this. You will learn all the states and most importantly we have to implement the articles in practice. The articles we study, the lessons that we are studying. You can't just get out of the lesson, the lesson is all questions and answers. It is not good. What will you absorb from the lesson? How will this influence you? Later on you have to take the things we went through in the lesson and inside of the ten during the lesson you are not really in the ten, everybody is listening right? But later in the ten you have to take these materials and you have to talk about it and absorb it inside. You have to do it.
13. S. (31:36) Is it correct to say that the whole reality is determined by the Creator, except the prayer, which is given to us?
R. The prayer also comes to us as an opportunity to turn from us to the Creator and we should not miss out on this opportunity.
14. S. (32:05) What is belief and by which actions do the cause belief?
R. Faith is the force of bestowal that comes to us from above as a result of our efforts to be above our ego. If I want to connect with the friends above my ego and out of this I want to connect to the Creator and out of my ego then it is considered that I make efforts to acquire the force of faith above reason. This I implement in practice in the ten and from the ten to the Creator. My realization is, in that I do not have these forces but I’m asking for them. I ask from the Creator to give me the possibility to connect between us even though I cannot do it and maybe I don't even want it. Why do I want to be connected with the friends? Because then I have the opportunity to turn to the Creator and in such a way we reach faith above reason, bestowal above the force of reception we all come from the desire to receive and here above the desire to receive we demand the desire to bestow. A possibility to bestow it is not a desire, we don't really have a desire to bestow because the desire to bestow is the Creator but we want the possibility to bestow.
Excerpt 12 Reader (34:28 - 36:07)
15. R. This means that I cannot perform any action, any correct spiritual action, action of bestowal myself, I cannot limit myself, there are such slogans by the Kabbalists, that one who wants to break his desire to receive seemingly breaks it and gets two instead. Only the prayer to the Creator, that the Creator performs all the corrections from the smallest to the most general one, this is what helps us to correct anything. Therefore the wisdom of Kabbalah does not talk about fasting or limitations, or self-torments and punching ourselves, or whatever we can say about limiting the desire to receive, we do not do that but we only turn to the Creator that he would correct it. Because the fact is that when we want to break the desire to receive we just make it even greater, because even the pride grows as a result.
Both Baal HaSulam and Rabash write about it, that the desire to receive loves the suffering, the limitations the the Klipa grows specifically by this and this what we find in religions, but we are not like this we need to focus and concentrate all our efforts to turn to the Creator, so He will correct it. Only by this can we change anything in reality, because all the forces come from Him, all the action comes from Him. Therefore if we are standing before some physical action in our world, it is worthwhile to search for how we can we do this through the Creator, because He establishes the action and I do not have to relate to the state that the Creator established, since nevertheless He established it.
So I should not relate to the state as if He made it and He makes all the states, but I have to turn to Him that the Creator would change it, that the Creator would correct it from evil to good, because “I created the evil inclination” He does it. I am asking from Him and only through my request can He turn it to good, and by this I gain connection with the Creator and this connection is specifically by me incorporating in the evil states and come with them to the good states. Then through all this work I am more and more connected to the Creator, I truly reach attachment to Him from the beginning of creation till the end of correction. This is how we need to do it, so watch out, do not do anything by yourself except praying, and if we perform any actions by ourselves that have to do with the correction, then also only in a way that they accompany the prayer.
16. S. (40:04) We know that we get an answer from The Creator only on the condition that we demand exactly what He wants to give us, so the question is where does this desire emerge in us especially during the night, because the work is in the state of night when we don't have any value in this work?
R. We were once in a state when we were all connected together in a single system, in a round system, in a spherical system called the soul of Adam and in this system we were all interconnected in the most ideal way. However, each and everybody was there connected in such a way that seemingly he did not exist, he was on the level of the still of the still of the still, or like a drop of sperm before developing, in order to give us the chance to develop which is independent by ourselves, so we could feel, understand, attain our state, and from the state also attain the Creator, that we reach a state where we become like Him, although we are created beings. So the Creator broke this initial form, this spherical form where we were all interconnected and now we are disconnected from each other, this disconnection between us is because of the desire to receive, that enters between us, distancing us from each other, however we also have a Reshimot, record from that corrected state where we were once, so we can long towards that, that we really want to get back to that state where we were all connected.
All our work is in this, that we seemingly crave to be connected even if we don't want it, still we artificially crave for it, we establish a state where it is good to be connected, this is called each one is helping his friend, and we are asking the upper force that broke us to correct us, and then through these states that we are going through, we gradually come back to the corrected state however it is all with the precedent of our own efforts and our own efforts are giving us the ability to feel state of disconnection and the state of connection. In the gap between we discover the work of the Creator, because the Creator is the maker of light and the Creator of darkness, and then between the two states we discover Him. The more we have descents the more we have elevations, the more darkness the more light, and this is how we discover the Creator more and more, and besides we also discover the effort, the states, the actions by which the invite the appearance of the Creator on top of the disconnection from Him, this is our work.
17. S. (44:26) The more we advance through these states of darkness and light in the 10, how specific should our prayers be in respect to the connection?
R. We need each time to identify the right state, the current state we are in, which is the disconnected state, and how much we lack being connected as we understand what it means to be connected, and we ask the Creator for the connection, for Him to do it. We search in those states of disconnection and connection, we search for our source, partner because He gives us both and what depends on us is only the request, raising a prayer and what depends on Him is the act of connection which He helps us with. Through the action of correction we discover a new state in which we are connected, and the Creator is revealed according to the form of our connection, because He gives us both the evil state and the good state. In the difference between the two we discover the Creator, this is the meaning of the Creator making light and creating darkness.
18. S. (46:20) You said that there is a special state in the ten, when everybody is in an elevated state, we also feel in the 10 that we are all happy, we have beautiful work during the day and during the lesson as well, you said we have to learn something from this so what can we learn?
R. We need to discuss every state in the 10, we have to discuss what we are going through right now, and then after we discuss it then somehow we write down what states we went through and we become experienced by this, and we prepare ourselves for more realistic actions.
19. S. (47:42) How to help the Creator, what actions should we perform that He can give us a second nature?
R. To the extent we identify that we are in the current state, which is the broken, shattered state and to the extent we want to be in the corrected state, which is the state of connection, the more we can imagine to ourselves that the whole reality, whole mankind has to be in that connected state, if we understand the current state and the state we have to reach, then these two states which are called the existing state and the desired state, from that we uncover a lack and from that lack which we established in the ten, we turn to the Creator and we want Him to promote us from the state where we are, from the state where we are disconnected, to reach a state where we want to be connected. Because then in the connection between us which we reveal, in the measure of connection and communication between us in the 10, which takes a place that form will be the form of the Creator, “you have made me”, thus we make Him, because he does not exist. From disconnection to connection, the more we reveal the disconnection between us and then we find an even greater connection between us, the difference between the two states we discover more and we build Him and we attach ourselves to Him because this is what we are doing. This work is the pure, holy, spiritual work and we build, we make the Creator out of the differences between the darkness and light, between disconnection and connection, there is no better, holier work than this, because we establish the Creator, without that the Creator cannot be revealed, He cannot show Himself to the created beings in any other way.
20. S. (50:28) What is the state of death in the work?
R. Death in the work means that I am disconnected from the friends, and as a result of course I am disconnected from the Creator, this is death in the work.
21. S. (50:56) You explained before that we are doing our work through a request only and all the obstacles all the actions only increase the ego, so many times we asked in the ten, but does it mean that the work is only through the request, and if in the end if I am a slandering someone, should I speak or better if I do not speak at all?
R. You need to ask the Creator to correct your slander.
S. About suffering, if our work is only to turn it to the Creator, so this is the greatest suffering because we work against the selfish ego?
R. But you can always ask, even if the prayer is not real and then the Creator will gradually and slowly correct your desire.
S. So we can ask for anything?
R. This is correct, you are asking for everything even if you do not want it, even if your prayer is artificial, this is how we are built by the Creator, so we could ask even for things which I seemingly do not have need for, even for things which we do not want or even hate. Tell me when do you usually ask, when the Creator strikes you, gives you blows and then you ask to get rid of the blows. Is this realistic a prayer, or do you want to rise to the Creator from yourself? We want to ask for what is good for the selfish ego, but this thing cannot happen, so we have no choice we have to understand that specifically in this way, as we are in our selfish ego, that is the only means by which to pray to Him, even if it is an artificial prayer, even if we don't want it, even if we hate what we asked for, even if we hate the friends and the Creator, or we care about nothing, nevertheless we form ourselves, we establish ourselves in the ten (which I hate), with the Creator (which I cannot tolerate), with states of connection (which I do not even want to consider), but in this way we form the shape which is standing against us, opposite to us and from that we reach correction and it is good that the Creator did this to us, because then we are consciously aware of all the situations we are going through, because otherwise we would not be aware, we would be like babies or the still, vegetative and animate levels. Accepting Nature unconsciously we have to agree to pull, to draw to myself even if I don't want it, and this is how I have to establish it over myself, as only through a thing and its opposite I can attain something anew, a new nature, so through the Creator I established my spiritual form, I build Him and this is “me making the Creator”.
22. S. (55:15) What is the difference between the prayer that we perform, and the prayer that the religious prayers are giving?
R. The difference is that we are asking for correction, we want to rise above the ego, we don't want to destroy the ego, but we want to rise above the ego to connection and love, and we do this together in the ten, and in the ten we want to establish ourselves. All religions emerged about 2000 years ago from the fall of the wisdom of Kabbalah, which disappeared from the people and then appeared Christianity, and Judaism then later Islam, this is how it happened, this was the order of thing, first Judaism then Christianity then Islam. Judaism started about at the time of the first Temple which is about 1000 BC, and then it came to the world with the destruction of the Second Temple which is let's say year 0 in the common era. Then after several centuries Christianity emerged from that, the first Christians were of course Jews, and then later the Romans took it over connecting to them, we know this from history. Then in the 6th century more or less started Islam from that, even though the root of Islam can be found in Ishmael, which was a son of Abraham, and thus Islam is not really opposed to the wisdom of Kabbalah or Judaism, it does not pull people to materialization or paintings or images like Christianity, it is more internal.
Regardless, given that we all fell into the ego, all of us work from within the person's ego and from that we develop, and the do not belong to them at all, do not actually equate ourselves with any of those, instead we act only to discover and reveal the Creator to the created beings in this world, this is the wisdom of Kabbalah which was given for this reason, and we do not want to change it in any way in any direction. This is for us the main thing to turn ourselves into such people that the Creator is revealed in, and not in an external way, not through external actions only through internal actions, the correction of our qualities through the connection between us, this is the meaning performing of commandments. The outcome of each of these commandments is that the Creator is revealed there, so this is why the reward of the commandment is to know what it is commanded, to know the source, meaning the Creator is revealed in the desire each time, until all the desires are revealed and the Creator is revealed in full, this is the end of correction.
Mankind is divided according to its desires and the external forms, it is divided into different levels and there are those who don't have a deficiency because the whole of creation is a desire, they do not have a true deficiency to get to know the Creator, like “our desire to get to know our King”, they do not have this, and then less and less as we read from the excerpt, that in Egypt, there in the people they also said to Moses you speak to Him and we will stand here on the side, and we see the same thing in our dissemination, we see how people do not take so much to the revelation of the Creator, to come close to Him, they are fine as they are, but there is only as small part of mankind who has this inner inclination which is called the point in the heart, who want to reach a connection with the Creator. We try to publish the wisdom of Kabbalah to everyone, and it is not from today like this existed over the past generations as well, but it was done quietly, the Kabbalists wanted to publicize the wisdom of Kabbalah to everyone. The Ramchal travelled across Europe teaching people, he had several such talks, lessons even with the Pope and so on.
It is according to the nature of the wisdom of Kabbalah, from its spread we will understand that “My house should be called the house of prayer for all the nations”, meaning ultimately we have to reveal this to everyone and the Creator needs to wake up a desire for this in everybody. We will get to a state where the Creator wakes up the desire for his Revelation and we ourselves present the whole mankind the method to discover Him, so they will reach connection with Him, all of us, all the people. We will talk about this later at some point, about the differences between religions, there are articles about this from Baal HaSulam, where he discusses it a little but he does not really want to touch upon this, because people may see us as someone with pride, seeing themselves above others, disregarding others, but we do not disregard anybody because the whole creation is the outcome of the actions of the Creator, there is nothing we can belittle, the Creator established all the states. We simply have to understand that the actions, and the order of actions by which we can correct everybody, to come to a state where “all know Me from the least of them to the greatest of them”, everyone and so through the connection of all the souls, we will come a connection with the Creator, this is the end of correction for everyone. But for the time being as we are not capable of this yet, religions, all the religions and many faith systems in the world, they all hold the people and develop them to an extent, according to their methods.

To reach such a perfect situation, such perfect states, one then discovers that he needs to bring the whole of humanity to that state because his soul is in each and every one and it is the same, The souls of everyone exist in everyone else after the shattering. 24. S. (01:06:52) I cannot pray for myself can I pray for the Creator to help me cancel myself?
R. Yes you can pray like that but it is less effective then you praying for the connection because what does it mean to cancel oneself, to cancel one's ego, why should I ask about that? Do I want to diminish my ego? No, I don't, I want my whole ego, the whole of the ego that I have, cruel, strong, big doesn't matter, I want to approach spirituality with it to turn it in order to bestow. What does it mean for me to cancel it? For me to be zero? Know it is not worthwhile.
S. Why does it mean to cancel then?
R. Canceling means from operation, you cannot cancel or erase the will to receive I can only cancel, stop it from acting in order to receive and turn it into acting in order to bestow and this is the correction which they're reforming light makes it is called the light to the action is to return the will to receive from in order to receive to the good, reforming it, making it good.
S. Everyday inside the ten we're trying to cancel ourselves before the friends, to listen to the friends, to make ourselves small before the friends so what exactly is it if I'm not, I always feel like I'm trying to hold myself back but it sounds like something else that you're saying.
R. I'm not certain what you are saying, we need to ask to correct our will to receive so that in exactly the same way we're now it makes me reject everyone it will help me connect to everyone this is called correction, correction means that I take something broken corrupted and I make it into something that is correct and fixed, if I tell the Creator to please take away all of my desires what am I left with? I will have nothing, I lower myself from the degree of man meaning wanting to resemble the Creator wanting spirituality lowering myself to the degree of the animal and the degree of the vegetative and the degree of the inanimate, what do I get from that? I want to have the greatest biggest desire possible and I want to be as corrected as possible.
S. I don't understand at all after this explanation.
R. Annulment means that I want to cancel the will to receive from in order to receive so that it is in order to bestow with all of the forms of my will to receive which are all aiming towards my own selfish benefits, I want to turn them all to aim towards the benefit of the ten, towards the benefit of everyone.
25. S. (01:10:57) What kind of prayer should I do Creator to take the opportunity to correct all of my mistakes in the ten?
R. If I turn to the Creator through the 10, that I want to correct my connection with the 10 and I asked the Creator to do this for me, to establish a proper connection between me and the 10 so that I am drawn towards them so that I am spread throughout them, that all of my desires will be in them and all of my thoughts will be about them that I want to be always in that. If I pray for that I need no more.
26. S. (01:12:11) Here in the excerpt it said that my body, my will to receive resists this state of disappointment, despair of spirituality, what is the prayer that brings you to a demand from that?
R. I need to reach a few discernments that I cannot correct myself, that there is only a single force that can alter my fate which is the upper Force and that for him to make any change in my faith I must turn to him and this change in my fate can only happen if I ask him to change my connection with the 10. Because my whole life, my destiny, my fate depends on the 10 alone even though it doesn't appear so to me and then I turned to the Creator through the 10 and I ask this of him. More than that of course it is effective if I talk with the 10 and they want the same thing to turn to the Creator, to change our fate to correct us through the connection between us so that we will want to discover the Creator through the connection between us. S. In the feeling a demand is an outcry from deep within what is a demand really?
R. It is called a demand, where we stand on it and demand that. The Creator doesn't open for us and we knock like on a great big gate of the city that we want to enter and we want to enter this city so we knock and knock on the gate until the Creator opens. But knocking means that we are constantly performing various actions by which we show him that we are ready to be more and more connected until we want it. until the Creator is satisfied meaning until we all want it in the 10.
27. S. (01:16:13) What does it mean to watch out for doing something besides prayer?
R. We need to do everything possible to bring us out of the disconnection between us even to dance and to drink together, to eat together, to go on a trip it doesn't matter what we do so long as we are going to connect together even physically because we can't do anything more. But we want to come closer together even through these physical actions. R. Perhaps he does everything but he has no support from the 10, prayer from a single person is almost never heard, the Creator responds but only in such a way where he adds more and more torment, so that we ultimately come to a complete prayer, Rabash writes about this. We need first of all to connect together correctly in order to achieve correction with the Creator.
29. S. (01:18:59) How can we collect them, put together a common deficiency in the 10?
R. Discuss this amongst yourselves, discuss this deficiency, what should we do, what do we stand to lose, what do we want to gain? Anything that relates to the connection between you.
30. S. (01:19:31) Is gratitude to the Creator a more correct prayer?
R. It is not about correct or incorrect that also has its place but it depends on what you want to be grateful for, what you want to thank him for it is not that you don't have anything to thank him for or that you do it because you have no other prayer. R. I would say it is the opposite, the prayer needs to be the outcome of our efforts.
32. S. (01:23:53) We build a prayer every morning lesson and the question is the friends who did not hear this prayer does it influence them in anyway?
R. Of course our prayers affect the whole of humanity and the friends who are not with us in the same action, but this is a secondary effect. Of course, it affects them but in an external way it is like when I sleep, I am sleeping and then I get up but in the meanwhile the world has changed.
S. To make it more precise between us praying for connection and the friends gathering together for a lesson or for something else should there be other actions, more physical actions?
R. We discuss these things all the time, I cannot begin now to talk about all of these actions. We need to yearn to be with our whole group in each and every lesson and then once twice or maybe three times a day to connect together for 15 minutes or half an hour to discuss the connection between us how we can apply it and so to continue. If we invest in it we will receive and if we don't we won't because the exertion is what shapes the vessel.
33. S. (01:23:57) There is the principle of the end result being in the initial thought we know that the prayer is the result of our efforts, is it correct to try to begin with to see how we will reach a prayer and then to see what is missing to be in efforts to complete what is missing?
R. What will you pray over?
S. First of all we establish is it correct to establish the prayer intellectually and then emotionally to see what I'm lacking in order to complete it?
R. It may be that to establish the prayer we need to try to create an intellectual framework for it because we don't have the emotions yet and then through the intellectual efforts we may awaken the emotions, yes, but still this needs to be our goal otherwise it will become prayer like in all of these synagogues.
34. S. (01:25:12) What is a strong prayer?
R. A strong prayer is one that emerges from the heart of the friends and reaches the Creator where they draw a line of connection between their desires and that line reaches the Creator, they reach the Creator with it.
S. Is this related to the frequency of the prayer?
R. Not necessarily but accordingly the more you try you connect more in come to the form, true form of it.
S. What we feel in recent days is that we're working a lot on this topic and the feeling is that when you enter a request you feel the friends are making the efforts, they come to a certain deficiency, but it is as if in this deficiency there are no clear lines, holding points, you can't say I can go deeper now.
R. Pray all of you. Pray there to be this handhold. Creator is showing you that he is concealed and you need to demand Him more.
S. That is exactly the question to demand more, it is as if you are in a cloud that you're with the friends in some movement, but how do we strengthen it as there are no coordinates just a feeling?
R. There is connection between you for the purpose of the goal and more efforts of connection between you towards this goal and with the prayer for the Creator to establish more connection between you and towards the goal.
S. Sometimes it feels that only when you come out of the prayer now you can identify or detect what is missing and then maybe can get back to it, but when we are in a movement it is very hard to add.
R. It is fine I understand, it is true, continue.
S. What should characterize the attack?
R. We asked for a connection, we seek connection between us to be as one man in one heart that we want to draw the Creator to feel that one heart.
S. What makes it into an attack?
R. Us demanding, and attack means that we focus our strength and ask specifically for that. We are coming to it, it’s not that we need to relax, but this also takes time. I very much hope that we will come to something towards the upcoming Congress, proper preparation.
35. S. (01:28:38) After each prayer that we build and raise from the ten we get great impressions, can we say that the prayer itself is the Creator’s answer?
R. The prayer is the vessel in which we want to receive the fulfillment, that is it. So, of course it is a part.
36. S. (01:29:15). What is the difference to break the will to receive or to restrict it?
R. We do not break the will to receive, we say it, it is kind of a shorthand, it we want to break the intention to receive and the restriction we make over the use of the will to receive in order to receive, later to turn it into an order to bestow.
37. S. (01:30:09) When the friend in the ten participates in a constant way in the morning lesson when they leave the path should we turn to the world Kli, vessel to pray for the friends or is this a personal problem of our ten?
R. Try doing both, perhaps I didn't understand the question sufficiently. May you ask again?
S. Friends that were in the ten for a long time and they leave the path should we ask the world Kli to pray for the friends.
R. I don't think that we need to be concerned about that, the thing is that we are now establishing the first step on the correction of the general soul and we draw towards us through the reforming light, a very general light, we attract many different souls. It is not necessarily that these souls have to integrate and to achieve their correction in the first stage of the last generation. Rather, we have to agree with the fact that as Baal HaSulam writes that many have entered and many will fall on this path, as there are many verses saying that. There is nothing you can do as this is the path and this is how the corrections go, the fact that he participated for a certain time, a friend that was with us for months or even years and then he leaves, arriving, coming to us, it's not that he came here, but he was brought from above and he remained with us for a while as he was held here by a special illumination. All of these efforts connect to a very special prayer which is the prayer in the ten as it is called the prayer of the Minyan and then the Creator hears. What does it mean that he hears? R. It is above our will to receive that one doesn't want anything for himself but only consider being part of the system of Adam HaRishon and as a part of the system of Adam he wants to connect with everyone meaning receive for himself only what he deserves for his existence and all of the rest think about the connection with the others and between the others and this is called working in order to bestow. We don't need to do these actions and practice, to go out to the street and start taking care of all of the people, no. S. (01:40:29) You said the prayer is the deficiency of where we receive the fulfillment. What does that mean?
R. Prayer is the deficiency where we want to receive the correction, the fulfillment and that is basically the prayer, read something. You are asking such trivial things that much has been written about it, how will I answer this if you start asking me about this we will never get out of it. What do you mean that prayer is a deficiency, what is the prayer if not a deficiency? Think before you ask questions that I really can't answer.
41. S. (01:43:23) What determines whether a person stays on the path or leaves?
R. If he stays and he advances with everyone in the same general pace that we advance or in the pace of his ten which could be a little more or a little less but if he leaves then he stands and remains on standby like all of humanity. When he stays that way with the whole of humanity, he is under the general pace of progress which is how the Creator is pushing all of humanity. Which is typically through things like the pandemic and all of the shattering, all of those actions that are becoming more global because we have entered the last generation where everyone needs to reach correction so even the blows that we experience today are landing upon everyone, all of humanity.
42. S. (01:42:58) In the beginning of the lesson you mentioned there are different kinds of connections, can you say what kinds of connections there are?
R. You will yearn for connection and on the way you will discover all the different types of connection, these are the connections that exist between the Sefirot, between each Sefirah and all of this should become revealed in our actions of connection. You start finding that you have this and that type of connection of giving between you and others and this is how each Sefirah connects to the other Sefirot complimenting the others mutually and that is how they achieve the complete structure.
43. S. (01:44:06) You mentioned that above the hatred I feel towards the others, towards the Creator I have to ask, is it the same thing of hatred toward the others and hated to the Creator?
R. I don't want to interpret this for now as neither this nor that is clear for us right now.
44. S. (01:44:32) You said we have to perform all kinds of actions until we will reach the revelation of the deficiency towards the Creator. In what way do the actions work on building the desire?
R. We are discussing between us in the ten and we revealed to each other how much we cannot do any spiritual action unless we try to do it together. These actions, we try to do even if they are not so accurate and proper, when we tried to do them together they are accepted in the Creator according to the rule, the desolate City cannot be ruined. Meaning if you have a good connection between people even though they are criminals, villains, you can't do anything about that. Still the power of their connection, their Mutual assistance to one another guards them, keeps them safe and so we have to achieve the force of connection. We are all criminals but we don't care about each and every one's personal correction but rather the actual connection between us that way worry about the connection. Then how can that connection be aimed at correction, Mutual correction for each other. One shall help his friend so connection comes first. It doesn't matter that we are all egoists, first of all connection between us is the main thing it after there is some connection, then out of our already existing connection we need to start correcting the shape and character of our connection so that it is more towards mutual help to find this force of mutual support and bestowal and guarantee between us which is the vessel for the revelation of the Creator.
45. S. (01:47:29) How to realize the morning lesson together for the whole day?
R. I don't know it depends on how much time you have, you have to decide whether you are listening to the morning lesson or you are reading the excerpts from the lesson discussing and work shopping between you. I don't know what advice to give you or should do more. It is worthwhile to review the morning lesson at least listen and discuss, listen and workshop because most important in the meetings between you in the day is your connection of how much you come closer, how much you connect not just to repeat the lesson but to realize it in your connection. That is the goal of connection during the day to realize what we discussed during the lesson that topic, how did we realize it in connection between us.

46. S. It's a whole prayer is one self cancellation toward the Creator than is the complete prayer to agree with all good and bad conditions that come to me?
R. The fact that all kinds of states come to me surely, I agree that it comes from the Creator and it is for my own good and that it came in order to advance me. On the other hand, the question is now how do I respond to this not how I accept it, how do I respond so I have to respond in a way that on top of this whole state that appears I need to demand additional connection with the friends and by that additional contact with the Creator that he will appear within us, between us. Our problem is that we don't see in all of those things a complete shape that everything that appears comes from the Creator, everything that appears I have to discover it in the 10. In the ten I need to find a prayer for all of this state that appears, I have to find the connection between us to such an extent that it reveals the Creator to me. S. How can we make preparations to the prayer?
R. Just to think about it, think about it and talk about it between us as the preparation for the prayer is your connection this is the preparation for the prayer. So try to be more connected and more aimed in general towards the goal and to be among you you need to establish the state for the revelation of the Creator.
47. S. (01:54:32) What is this term that we hear about as his mouth and heart are equal, our way there or not?
R. You don't understand that?

R. Yes, potentially Rabash writes, I have to help the friend, what do I need to do for him that I will support him so that I will raise him, I help him and he helps me.
S. Is there a way my heart and mouth can be equal towards the 10?
R. Yes when you are on the level Bina you can discover what it is.
48. S. (01:56:56) How does the connection between us influence our correction and the correction of the world?
R. We don't understand, we don't feel or know how much in our interstate through our connection we influence the world, meaning throughout the world, throughout all of humanity all of the shattered vessel we are the only part of the vessel that is going towards correction. There are a few small other groups here or there that are moving towards it, I am not disregarding anything, the more the better. Then we will find that we are coming to the final correction and everyone is in front of us, ahead of us and there is no prevention. What is becoming revealed is only the forces that are pushing us forward that is it.

49. S. He writes about the daily work here, we with the friends like all of the friends we write a prayer every day and you recommended that we do a summary of that prayer at the end of the day, what is the conclusion that we should have achieve at the end of the day when we examine this prayer?
R. I don't know what you should do and I also don't want to know, this is your work, how can I get into this? It is the connection between you and the Creator. I just recommend what to do, what happens next is your connection in between you and the Creator, I don't want to get in there I am not allowed to.
S. I would like you to give us some recommendations, we connect during the day, we build a prayer, can we somehow see the efficiency of it to get closer?
R. If you are saying it in that way you should scrutinize and find out if not ask the Creator to help you understand the essence of your correct connection, how you can improve it's because from the connection between, you reach the Creator. First reach the center of connection between you and then from there to the Creator. You have to know these stages of your spiritual work.
S. What are the stages?
R. First connect and then turn to him, the prior has to be the prayer of the many, from the Minyan then you can pray.
S. We connect in the minyan and then pray can we discuss at the end of the day how successful we were in connecting to the Creator?
R. On the condition that it won't weaken you, that we see that there's nothing that we can do that were not successful, and why do we need all of this, that would be what I'm afraid of. That you would get despaired of it instead of increasing this state more, so be very careful that it won't knock you down but on the contrary that it stimulates you more.
S. We are riding the prayer in a very unique way, it is like a shared file of the friends and the friends write there parts and we see the development of the prayer during the day, how should it develop during the day?
R. To be as one man and one heart, you will discover that wherever our friends are with everybody, more or less are in the same stages and aimed in the same direction and we are really all speaking about one Kli.
S. If I understood you correctly, ultimately we need to talk.
R. How can it not be that way if you're turning from the desire for the 10 to 1 Creator so more or less you are in the same state. In the same relative state on the path but when you are speaking about the 10, same problems, same events to the same Creator that is also revealed in all kinds of relative forms towards you so there is no big difference.
S. It turns out when I read what the friends are writing in that file, in that document I need to aim myself to be under them?
R. Try to incorporate and then when you read what they wrote just get in there with your heart. That really helps of course.
50. S. (02:09:19) You said God forbid if I say what I have in my heart and this is truly felt very sharply everyday, this state is like I have a bomb in my pocket and a boy if I send it towards the 10. The question is about this state.
R. It is from all of us acting wanting to reach a desired state and that the Creator is arranging these things and that same bomb that you say that you have in your pocket in your afraid to take out, it will become more large because the will to receive grows more and it always remains as the posterior to the spiritual Partzuf and when we reach the spiritual degrees we have the Klipot and the worlds of the Klipot and this is how we need to keep them that they won't explode only to show everybody the sacred parts the part that is in order to bestow.
51. S. (02:11:05) Can we pray without any intention?
R. Praying without an intention, intention is what I want the outcome to be from my actions, there is an action and intention what I want from it as a result of it, how can I pray without an intention? The intention can be right only by wanting to reach bestowal, the Creator doesn't hear the prayer if the prayer does not have an intention to reach in order to bestow. He won't hear it, this is why all prayers said everyone praised, where they cry, the whole world, that everybody does so many connections between them, so many gatherings where they cry out to the Creator, you see all of humanity and it doesn't help anything. By this you're not activating the higher common will to receive because you are opposite from it in that way.
52. S. (02:12:37) I hear you several times talking about the great fear that we do a lot of efforts but ultimately it won't bear fruit and the feeling is that we are doing a lot of efforts, how do we know that they are in the right direction and they are not what you mentioned now?
R. I was speaking about people who don't have a desire, an impulse to reach the revelation of the Creator and equivalence of form with him. You need to discuss between you do you have the desire in certain actions that in them I am certain to reach identification with the Creator, equivalence of form.
S. What do you mean we certainly achieve equivalence of form?
R. Not that you'll get there but that you want to get there that you are aiming yourselves towards it, what do you do about it? In the connection between you and the 10. This is why we are in this world to start the actions of bestowal from man will help his friend. That I am dependent upon the friends and they are upon me in such a way we have an opportunity that the Creator who broke the vessel and brought him to the degree of this world that we even without intention can start the connection. We want and we are already organized physically in the 10 we want to increase the connection between us and the intention of what we want to do with that connection.
S. There is a feeling that the whole world Kli is set up before a war, we have a congress in a week and still I hear you with some concern that we might lose it in a moment that we just won't be there, I want to express a desire I feel from the whole world Kli to go all the way to realize the attack.
R. Please I'm not against it, I am working in that direction.
S. The question is about us, how do we go after it, you take a step and we take a step
R. Each one wants to be more connected in the 10 and in a clear way more connected between the tens that it is clear that my 10 that is before me that I grabbed onto it is there, the connection between the tens I also feel how it happens more or less and that is how we advance into a powerful, unified action that we want to perform this attack in the Congress. Why do you want the Creator to reveal himself, how can he reveals himself, that is him, love and bestowal for everybody. So think what you are aksing for.
S. Part is the prayer is not answered because a person doesn’t really want it.
R. Of course you don’t want it, that you are not aware of what you are asking for, your heart and mouth are not equal. You are not even thinking, asking for something like a baby who thinks it is what he needs.
S. The prayer itself cannot be accepted because he does not want it.
