Part 1:

Rabash. Article No. 26, 1990. What Is, “There Is None as Holy as the Lord, for There Is None Besides You,” in the Work?

1. Rav’s Introduction: (33:11) Any questions? Even though actually the article itself is not difficult.

2. S. (33:29) It says here that actually inside the will to receive, the desire to bestow is created. He says that the matter is kind of born from within. What I know is that we have two forces and one within the other. How is it?

R. What two courses do we have? there’s only one force, the will to receive. That’s it.

S. But, when we are in the Ten we want to come to a state which we come together to bestow, right?

R. We want to reach that, yes.

S. The question is when is there a situation in which we create a second nature, we have the first nature, the will to receive and the second nature, the will to bestow, and these two are separated forces. When does one merge from the other?

R. When we study what the kabbalists write to us about,we want to be in the same actions as they tell us about, it turns out that from our desire to resemble them we draw upon ourselves the upper light, the upper Force, the force of bestowal and it's gradually brings us closer to acts of bestowal. This is how it happens.

S. Is it a state in which I create a new nature, or is it from my will to receive, from within created a desire to bestow?

R. You draw upon yourself a force that builds with you a new nature; a desire to bestow.

S. Why does he say here, within the will to receive the desire to bestow enters? He writes here, since the person becomes an Ubar the will to receive enters calls in order to bestow and this means that the Creator creates a form within a form. How does this work out in the matter of the second nature?

R. The new form, the will to bestow enters the previous form, which is the will to receive.

3. S. (36:36) Throughout the article Rabash says that all the person has the desire, the yearning, the deficiency, the prayer, that awakening it’s all from above, it doesn't belong to a person, anything, he repeats this several times. There are two questions here: first, what belongs to a man? and if nothing belongs to a man, where can he add, because you can also feel that what we have, the deficiency is still not enough to come to the goal?

R. The Creator develops a deficiency in a person, so what is your question?

S. The Creator develops so we're at the addition that man does that he will be able to come to such a deficiency to reach Dvekut?

R. the person should go along with the Creator and grow this new deficiency that was created within him.

S. He simply emphasizes in many places throughout the article that it's all from above, it’s all from above, meaning the work that one receives, that’s the reward. He calls upon you and that’s the reward you received. You say that a person needs to continue and develop this?

R. Yes.

S. And this is all our work in the ten actually, this is the bottom line of what we have to do?

R. Yes.

4. S. (37:56) He writes here that the Lord forms a form in the previous form that he had and called the vessels of reception. I always thought that we learned that we need as an Ubar to nullify before the mother and she writes that she’s the vessels of reception so we are nourished through the umbilical cord, we have no mouth, we are in the environment, in the womb and it’s all vessels of reception. So how from this actually does the quality of bestow grow and who are we nullifying for?

R. We annul before the upper one, which are the vessels of bestowal. And we want to be in adhesion with him as much as possible,as much as we annul ourselves so we can grow inside of the Upper One; this is the womb.

5. S. (39:07) It's written that according to sorrow is the reward, meaning that the exertion is the main thing that a person needs to feel, that the effort itself is the reward, and many times we talk about being attained with the force of prayer. Well, Isn't the prayer an effort, labor? He's talking here about deeds and Torah and Mitzvot, is talking about prayer, which is action, deeds?

R. Yes, these are the deeds.

S. So the prayer is the main thing, the person has an awakening to the Creator and he needs to feel that that’s the reward?

R. Yes.

6. S. (40:12) How can a lower one give Kedusha from below, is it possible? it is written, it turns out that the Creator needs Kedusha from below, then He can give them Kedusha.

R. That he awakens the lower one and the lower one asks, he wants, he prays; and the upper one starts to take care of him.

S. So Why does the Creator first give suffering? it’s written, according to the sorrow of a man observing Torah, his reward will be greater.

R. Otherwise he will not want to get out of the state that he is in.

7. S. What defines the power of Kedusha In man’s will to receive to begin with?

R. the fact that the person also has the ability to appreciate, to value the will to bestow; he hasn't received it, he hasn’t acquired it yet, but nevertheless he does have a certain good relation to it.

8. S. (41:33) Can we experience at a certain stage great sorrow and receive the reward at a much later state? What decides this delayed action from above?

R. I don't understand.

S. Can we experience at a certain stage great sorrow and receive the reward much later?

R. What kind of event or incident are we talking about?

S. The matter of suffering and reward, according to the sorrow, the reward.

R. Does anyone understand the question?

S. The question is about a state in which a person is sorry for not having the quality of bestowal until the state in which he receives the answering of the prayer. What defines the gap between the two?

R. Again.

S. What determines the gap between the time of the request and the reply? Why shouldn't the person get the answer immediately? She is asking whether it is possible that there is a delay between the suffering and the reward, seemingly. Or, is it immediate?

R. It depends on the magnitude of the suffering; on the recognition of evil, let's say, more correctly.

9. S. (43:43) What does it mean to add in Torah and Mitzvot?

R. To add in Torah and Mitzvot means to add in connection, in all kinds of means that awaken the upper force to come closer to the person and take care of it; meaning it draws the light.

10. S. (44:12) He writes that the sorrow that we feel is actually the reward. I wanted to ask -I don't yet feel the sorrow when I'm far from the Creator -

R. It depends on the kind of sorrow you feel - yes?

S. But I could say that I do feel sorrow that the hearts of the friends have yet to open that we haven't reached a connection - this sorrow that prolongs for many years and he is saying that this sorrow is the reward.

R. Yes.

S. How should we relate to this?

R. We want to reach adhesion with the Creator, right? When we get closer to him, do we feel greater sorrow, or greater pleasure?

S. More sorrow?

R. More sorrow. Because we are vessels of reception and he is the will to bestow, right? So how should we operate in order to come closer to him and that this will be pleasure for us so that we can bless him and come closer, more and more, each time.

S. That is the answer for the sorrow that we're feeling now, too?

R. No. Search inside of our effort what comes to us from the Creator directly and what comes to us from him indirectly. And bless him for how he is promoting us.

S. It is, “I'm satisfied for the time being, thank you for what you gave us.” That kind of thing?

R. Well, maybe, I don't know. But, you will thank the Creator for taking care of you.

S. Can you include in this also the sorrow that the friends have from necessity, from the difficulty at work, and their families (that are on the path); is that sorrow that can be included inside this general sorrow towards the goal?

R. If you take it, and you include them together in that, then yes, because, all in all it helps you to advance.

S. But we don't feel happier from this. We do need to come from some kind of sensation of feeling that this sorrow is good, that it is sorrow that advances us. There needs to be some form of feeling or understanding; kind of like the feeling is that there is some kind of prolonged continuation to it.

R. As much as a person feels sorrow in the process that he is going through it advances him more. If he doesn't look at it how he feels, but rather he looks at the benefit of the result of it then it turns out that he is advancing.

S. You shouldn't feel like you're stuck, not to feel that. You’re looking at, I'm with a friend and -

R. It depends on how you accept it, how you interpret it, but whether it's stuck or not depends on the person, how he feels.

10. S. (48:55) When I received the reward called sorrow, am I sorry or happy?

R. The reward called sorrow?

S. Yes, am I sorry or happy?

R. It depends on how you interpret it, does it advance you, or not?

S. If I interpret it as something that advances me, should I call it sorrow?

R. Don’t call it sorrow.

S. What should I call it? Joy?

R. Well, I think yes.

11. S. (49:47) To continue that, he writes here that the exertion is the reward. Now, we also see this in our world where a person exerts, let’s say an athlete makes efforts, the reward then comes after that. In here he put the reward and the effort in the same place, and so it doesn’t work out, what does it mean that the reward and the effort is in the same place?

R. The fact that he receives, let’s say energy and the ability to carry out the work - this is the reward. He doesn't look for another reward except for being able to exert. We in this world, egotistically, when we perform a certain action against our desire, our will, we expect a reward, and here, no.

12. S. (50:49) In practice, what is the addition on behalf of man?

R. The addition on behalf of the person is to make an effort in any place possible.

S. But this exertion, he also writes in part of the article, that this too the Creator in practice does, and he has to hold on to, “there is none else besides him,” and, “if not for me, who?” And then he goes on to, what is the addition, also my addition in effort, also my addition in the work in the ten, it is nevertheless him that is giving it. So where is the work of the person?

R. The person should try to put in effort and that he does not expect any reward except for the labor itself, because to get closer to the Creator, to yearn for the Creator, this working is the reward. Usually we don't interpret it this way.

S. What should be our action be at the time we are exerting in the work in order to do this action correctly or what is the extra emphasis that we have to give here?

R. I don't understand the question. We need, well let's say in our world, when you love something and you get closer to it, and you are drawn to it, then you are happy. For you this is not work. But rather this is already a reward. Well it’s the same in spirituality. However, in spirituality you want to see the reward in your exertion.

S. I really agree and understand the direction that you're giving. My question is: now we are in a state in which we are at the work. We are working in a ten, we are working in dissemination, we are doing many efforts and many actions, and we feel in practice that each time we have in practice that each time we are overcoming, that we feel in that some kind of reward in the process The question is what is my work even more besides kind of like tying myself to the process - even in that it’s not me.

R. The process is that you will be connected to the whole group. And as much as you put effort into that, accordingly, you received a reward.

S. Meaning, these anchors that I put in the group in the process that won't let me run away, this is on behalf of a person.

R. Yes, try to do it.

13. S. (54:31) It turns out from what is written here that Rabash says that there is a close endless circle between the Creator and the created being. Just like the human body that is a closed circle there is a cycle that you can't enter or exit it. And this is an endless cycle, the holiness that the Creator gives and the created being gives back. So the question is why is it like that?

R. What do you mean why is it like that?

S. A person does not have anything, it is a closed cycle. I can't put anything from myself, only my feeling I can add.

R. What don't you like?

S. Well I thought that if so, then maybe the created being has nothing of his own. But rather everything is in this closed circuit.

R. Yes?

S. So it's like if it's closed, it's a closed cycle, a closed circuit, a person cannot give anything of himself to the Creator. He cannot give anything.

R. The person has nothing to give, he has nothing to give.

S. He kind of writes that a person has to give the person Kedusha from himself to the Creator. But it doesn't turn out that way according to what he is explaining, it is the same cycle, the same circuit that is just closed and the created being is giving back the Kedusha.

R. Does anyone understand what he's saying?

14. S. (56:44) What is a person add in the work if the Creator closed him from all directions?

R. His own deficiency by getting closer to the friends. He gathers from everyone their deficiencies and he raises this deficiency from himself onward, upwards.

S. What does it mean everyone?

R. Everyone meaning his group.

S. Which means we're getting back to all what we need to do towards the Creator is only from within the ten?

R. Yes, of course.

15. S. (57:38) What sorrow in the process advances a person?

R. Sorrow that he cannot be trusted by the Creator 100%.

S. And according to the sorrow, the reward?

R. Yes.

16. S. (58:13) He writes here that they need to receive nourishment from spirituality. What's nourishment from spirituality? Why does he need to receive it.?

R. Nourishment from spirituality, it's not to receive the way it is for us.

S. What does he mean? Why is it important? A person needs to exert, why is it important where he received the forces from, if in the end he does the exertion the intention the connection in the ten why is it important where he received the forces to make this effort?

R. Where can he get forces if not from the Creator?

S. There are many possibilities?

R. No, there are none, there is none else besides Him.

S. Where is the emphasis that they receive well at least he writes it this way, things that are animals he's nourished from on the contrary they also need to receive nourishment from spirituality that are suitable to a speaking so what does that have to do with the work?

R. He needs to get nourishment from forces of bestowal not reception, that's it,.The animate degree means he receives the speaking degree means that he receives forces from actions of bestowal.

S. He also writes according to the value of spirituality… I thought it's the other way around that according to the level of the desire, that's what important to it so what's first and what's last, importance or deficiency or doesn't matter?

R. Again.

S. He writes according to the value of importance for spirituality to that extent of person can feel the deficiency for it, we always talk about the more important to come to the deficiency for spirituality so the feeling of deficiency is the prayer so everything depends on the deficiency?

R. The deficiency but to what extent he will have deficiency a lack according to the importance.

S. Later he writes that the importance of spirituality to that extent that it's depicted he also receives from the Creator?

R. Of course, from where else.

S. From the society?

R. No.

17. S. (01:01:13) The question that really rises from the article that we also read yesterday, how does a person let go of his control in every state because you see that this article eventually you have to come to some sort of specific prayer and the prayer is for annulment eventually because only through annulment the person can work how can he really demand this because all the time also all the questions are about what else are a person can do what else can he do there is nothing except for annulment how do you come to this complete annulment?

R. He should demand from the Creator that he will give him the power of bestowal, he doesn't need anything more than that.

S. That's really the feeling of the process that's felt that it's the only thing that a person can feel or ask but here again there's this point where then maybe it becomes a philosophy and then you can correct me that place where again instead of the friends instead of everything that you learned how not to fall here?

R. You're asking for the force of bestowal right, the force of the bestowal it's not some philosophy it's spirituality.

S. What I'm asking again about myself because again I'm in some cycle of reception?

R. You're asking that you will have forces of bestow but you will have it that's in order to bestow?

S. Yes.

R. Is this considered that you're asking for yourself or in order to bestow?

S. That's the exact question. How do I keep that so that it will be bestowal and not for myself?

R. The force itself that you're asking for is that the force will dress in you and will give you the possibility to bestow.

18. S. (01 03:26) The upper one gets from the lower one the ability to bestow only?

R. Again.

S. Is the possibility for the lower one to bestow in order to bestow or receive or bestow in order to bestow? It's not clear what is to bestow to the Creator is that his reception that we bestow and to receive in order to bestow or bestow into in order to bestow.

R. The question is how do we feel about the Creator? We have no such possibility but only through others, through the friend through humanity, through everything but not directly to the Creator, they cannot give him.

S. Bestowing in order to bestowing a reception in order to bestow is that bestowing to the Creator

R. Okay.

19. S. (01:05:12) Can we say that the recognition of evil is a reward?

R. The recognition of my own evil is a part of my reward? What if a person accepts it this way then yes.

20. S. (01:05:33) If everything is from the Creator then why should I make an effort?

R. If a person can become with that then he should not make any effort.

21. S. (01:55:51) Why is the form of a mother reception and not bestowal? It's written that this is the novelty that the Creator in the form of bestow in the form of mother which is in the form of reception, so she's asking why is the form of the mother reception and not of bestowal, because it is written that this is the sanctity that the Creator gives?

R. The Creator gives the form of bestowal and he grows it inside the form of reception.

22. S. (01:06:36) If one inseminates first the vessels of bestowal and him will rot and decay in the ground, what does it mean that the desire to bestow will decay in the ground and how can it be that the matter of ish is the vessels of bestowal he will want to receive for himself?

R. We need to read this whole paragraph.

S. Do you want to read it again?

R. We need to read the whole excerpt what is it about.

Reading again (01:07:27) “If a man inseminates..”

S. The question is , what does it mean that the desire to bestow will decay in the ground?

R. That later on it will yield fruit.

S. Out of decay?

R. Certainly of course how is it only for ourselves in nature.

S. It's the seed that decays?

R. Yes, every fruit decays.

S. How can it be that the matter of the discernment of a man will want to receive for himself? Can it happen?

R. The vessels of reception I didn't understand. Again?

S. How can it be that if man inseminates first which is called vessels of bestowal, so he's asking how can it be that he will want to receive for himself, and can it be that he will receive for himself?

R. For himself meaning receiving in order to receive?

S. Yes, if man inseminates first meaning he wants the vessels of bestow and him to decay in the earth so he's asking can this happen that he's wanting to receive for himself?

R. No he cannot because it's a man.

23. S. (01:09:27) There is sorrow that advances a person in their sorrow that pushes a person out of this path. What's the difference between the two?

R. We can advance only through a force that moves us that awakens us and so on. This force operates on us as the force that compels us and this is how we grow. Therefore we have no choice but to constantly hold on to the society and advance by that each one shall help his friend. We haven't yet reached steps where we truly grow with each and every step, if we were already in that then we would understand that only through actions of connection we can rise higher each time, the creator gives us some small failure or something we connect something else we connect even more something else and this is how each time we are able more and more to rise on the degrees, and otherwise we have no chance because our whole development our growing is from that connection is only out of the connection.

24. S. (01:11:28) It is written the exertion and sorrow that they feel as the true reward that the creator gives them and one should not think that this is exertion that comes from himself that the person exerts but rather it is the reward that the Creator calls them to the creators work and to others he doesn't call, but why does he call some of them to work and some of them not if he's everyone's father.

R. This I don't know that has to do with the purpose, the process, the plan, how can we say we have no mind no emotion no ability to see the whole system the way it's interconnected and complete. Of course in the end apparently we will be incorporated in it and we will understand it and feel it but that's not for now.

25. S. ( 01:12:45) The process of conception as a 9 months that are given we are also in a world that has certain laws so how long does it need to take the spiritual pregnancy?

R. It's unknown.

26. S. (01:13:07) How can we check that the intention in annulment is for the right intention?

R. What is it directed towards the connection between us with the Creator or something else, that's how you check.

27. S. (01:13:52) If I'm sure that I did a good action towards the group but in response I got suffering or sorrow so my action wasn't right or is that a reward?

R. It still doesn't mean anything, you have to continue and gradually you will gain experience and you will know how to respond correctly.

S. What is the land or the earth that we put some vessel on the land in order to grow a vessel of bestowal from it?

R. The earth, land or soil is the will to receive.

28. S. (01:14:57) If we can’t even pray, the Creator doesn't want that so what can we do? What can we do to get his attention and pray?

R. If you unite together and then pray to the Creator it is impossible that he doesn't answer. It is certain that he will answer you but if you don't unite and each one just shouts just like that it will not help the Creator will not answer.

29 S. (01:15:42 ) I have the same question, if the land is the will to receive, and that seed you put in that land is made of too a form and a form so could it be the that's on the outside the will to receive an inside the will to bestow?

R. Of course, within the nucleus within the seed there's the will to receive and the will to bestow otherwise it wouldn't develop.

S. There are two kinds of seeds that on the outside is the will to receive in the inside bestowal and the opposite too that one is male and one is female and if you put the seed that on the outside it's the will to receive so it rots like you said the soil is the will to receive so what does it mean that you plant either those seeds on the will to receive and then one rots and then one grows?

R. That it helps a person that the will to receive of the ground which comes and disintegrates the seed and lets it develop, it gives the seed the possibility to grow.

S. If the seed is the will to bestow in the will to receive and I put that seed in the will to bestow so you get a male right, because the will to receive rots in the will to receive?

R. I don't know, don't pull us into such things that belong to agriculture I don't know.

S. That's what Rabash writes in the end there.

R. Where does he write it?

S. The last two paragraphs one before last that's where he wrote it.

R. Now we should interpret the meaning of proximity when a woman inseminates she delivers a male child.” Rabbi Yehuda started with what is written there is none else who is Holy as the Lord for there is none besides you. It is known that sowing is like, for instance, taking wheat or barley and so forth, and placing them in the ground until they decay, right, they rot, afterward the grain that we need comes out of them, in the work a woman is considered the one who works, the one who should deliver, for this reason if a woman who is a female, meaning the vessel of reception, if one sews the quality of a woman meaning a female. the will to receive, in the ground to decay this will later yield a male, in other words if a person sews his female in the ground meaning the vessels of reception it will yield vessels of bestowal called male, is this enough reading?

S. Yes, that's the question that if the seed which is the will to bestow in the will to receive, so the will to receive it's the soil as the side and it rots, and then the will to bestow remains in the opposite too?

R. The opposite so it's the opposite.

30. S. (01:20:01) In our work to aspire to reward means you want a deficiency?

R. It could be, because all in all what does it mean that we have to get a reward? Our reward can be that I am moving closer to the Creator, adhere to Him, and acquire His qualities of bestowal. That's the reward.

31. S. (01:20:58) The form within a form is that the intent not to receive for ourselves? Is there a relation between direct light and the bestowing upon the friends?

R. it is certain that it is not for receiving , it doesn't count, its wrong; in order to bestow is our goal, because by this we can receive everything that exists in nature and turn it into a force of bestowal. This is what we need.

32. S. (01:21:54) Could there be negative feelings between man and the group when the force of bestowal awakens, and if yes what should we pay attention to in order to not waste that awakening?

R. We need to constantly see that there aren't negative forces between us in the group, this is number one. Number two, to always have the ability to help more and more, help each other, if I understood your question correctly.

33. S. (01:22:57) I heard you say that in order to grow upon every state we have to connect even more in the ten. If there's a feeling that the connection in the ten never reaches like a maximum…?

R. Excellent, excellent if this is how you feel, it means that we are constantly awakened to advance more and more toward connection between us.

S. But what do we do with such a state? It also causes sorrow and despair.

R. No, it should be the opposite, it should bring us joy. If I see before me a person who wants to make money, and he has work to do, he's happy that there's work to do and make money. A person who wants to make money but doesn't have a job is sad, because he is jobless and he's unemployed; so this is how we have to relate to what we have before us.

S. How can we feel that the effort grows in the ten, that we can bring everybody into this work, that there is hope that the desire and connection will show up?

R. So what's the problem?

S. There's a feeling that we're not successful in it.

R. Because you're not praying to the Creator to make the connection. We should ask for the connection, the Creator should implement the connection, is this clear?

34. S. (01:24:57) To continue this topic, what do we actually need to ask for so that the will to receive could be planted in the ground and will rot correctly so it causes the other form within it to grow, to blossom, what sort of vessel do we ask for here?

R. We ask for vessels of bestowal; so they will rot and decay from us being in the ten and draw with the forces of the ten the upper force.

35. S. (01:25:59) What's the difference between sorrow, suffering and reward?

R. Sorrow, suffering and reward.

S. What's the difference between them?

R. What's the difference between them? A reward is when I receive vessels of bestowal, in spirituality it's called reward; that I am not receiving something in the vessels but the vessels themselves are the reward, yes. Suffering is when I want to reach bestowal but I cannot. And what else?

S. Sorrow.

R. Sorrow is the feeling of absence, when I cannot emerge from the boundaries of my will to receive. That it closes on me like inside a tomb, a grave.

36. S. (01:27:13) This article speaks about four types of the will to receive; receive an order to receive, bestow in order to receive, bestow in order to bestow, and to receive with the intention to bestow contentment to his Maker and not for himself. The question is, does the Creator make a form within a form tell us that He imprinted in a man a desire to receive with the intention in order to bestow and we only have to implement it each one according to his attainment?

R. Yes.

S. How do we make the absence into existence?

R. I don't know?

S. How to work with the letters of the work meaning the signs in order to not fail?

R. I don't know?

37. S. (01:28:47) It's written, this reward that the Creator is calling them to come work for the Creator. What is the Creator’s work?

R. to unite among them and bestow, from between them and to the Creator.

38. S. (01:29:22) The more we go deeper into this law that the work is the reward, so the prayer itself becomes a reward right? man's ability to turn to the Creator no matter if it's if he's asking for gratitude or request, and it kind of dims out, it disconnects a person from the result, he doesn't care anymore. like Rabash wrote and something we read, a person doesn't mind anymore if he gets what he asked for, or the size of the reward, the main thing is that he's is giving gratitude and then the results, the demand, that the friends will be connected and they'll feel the greatness of the Creator and they won't be able to bestow, it all dims out. It becomes like, I don't really care. The main thing is I'm in contact with the Creator, and there's not that passion that something will happen, I'm like a person with an inner conversation with his Creator. So what are you doing in that state?

R. keep going. There are several such stages where we feel a lack, or disorientation, I don't know how to put it, that I'm not realizing myself. There is such a thing. We need these vessels that such times awaken in me, so that we will use them later correctly.

S. We hear a lot of times from you that we have to check the result of our work of our prayer and according to that aim ourselves, that the prayer won't be automatic and every day we ask for something specific. But actually you don't have to check anything, I just have to check if I'm in a plea to the Creator so there's like a conflict that's what I'm talking about. How on one hand to be completely disconnected from the results of what I'm asking for that I don't care about the answer and the main thing is to pray and on the other hand, you have to get an answer?

R. Well.

S. So what do we do?

R. Keep going, and it becomes clarified.

39. S. (01:32:08) There's a feeling that in the ten that every day we started writing in the diary whatever you said and there's a feeling that in this demand from The Creator we are always in a struggle with Him, in an argument, He created the will to receive and we are demanding the will to bestow. so we are not a partners, we are like in an argument. And like a friends said so the friends always cover it with gratitude, that we even have a connection to spirituality, that we even have an opportunity to turn to Him, that He awakened this deficiency, and that calms everything and we are saying that's what the Creator wants to happen so we are nullified…

R. So what's the question?

S. So how to develop the correct attitude of gratitude and this yearning and feel as partners and not that we are against Him?

R. It is only through the friends, if you can connect with them and adhere to them; through it you adhere to the Creator. Here you are lacking this element, this component.

40. S. (01:33:20) The whole lesson we are speaking about happiness, so I'm asking how can we be happy if I haven't reached that inner connection with the friends, to connect to the friends, how could I be happy?

R. You can be happy that you are on the way towards it, that you even have this question; what's happening with the friends, why haven't I reached it? You are also happy about that.

S. But there's still yearning for a connection to this inner connection between us?

R. Check that it is not stemming from the will to receive.

S. I am sure it's from the will to receive, because I'm still not in the center of connection?

R. In other words, first you need to deal with something else.

S. What do you mean?

R. I mean that you don't come into a demand from within the will to receive.

41. S. (01:34:48) What's better to ask for the deficiency to bestow or to be in bestowal?

R. Of course to be in bestowal, it is a realization, the implementation of the deficiency.

So, what’s the question?

S. So there is no question, thank you.

R. Ok.

42. S. (01:35:15) He touches this point that is very delicate that I think if we are able to open it up. It says, in the work don't add or takeaway, is that like a balance point in our work, that a person needs to know that he doesn't take away or add too much. What is this point? How do you scrutinize it?

R. That a person is in wholeness every single moment; he comes out of it and re enters, comes out of it and re-enters, and out of how he realizes his will to receive so it will work in order to bestow.

S. I hope I am not taking this to a low point but I feel that every friend I hear about is scrutinizing all day, if he reads the article enough, did he sleep enough hours, if he can be in contact with the friends constantly? What am I doing, too much or too little? Or how can that friend reach that point where he knows that he's working correctly in a balanced way?

R. He hugs the others and he turns to the Creator.

S. What does it mean to hug the others?

R. Hugging.

S. Literally?

R. Yes. Together try to reach the Creator.

43. S. (01:37:15) When we get the quality of bestowal do we lose the quality of reception or do those two live together?

R. The main thing for us is to implement bestowal; either it is bestowal in order to bestow or even receiving in order to bestow but the important thing is for it to be bestowal.

44. S. (01:38:36) What does it mean to practically help each other in the ten? What are the opportunities that we have to help each other practically?

R. Pray for the others. Pray for the others.

S. And if a person feels alone in his pain, what can we do?

R. We can come to him and hug him, and together with him, rise to a common request. That's it. If a door to the Creator is not open before him so we will go together with him and ask and demand for it to be opened.

45. S. (01:39:39) How to keep the importance towards spirituality, how to evaluate and increase it from day to day?

R. It is only by connecting together. If we didn't come to the lesson, didn't hear, didn't speak, we would also not have this excessive demand for spirituality, this heightened demand for spirituality. We have to try each day and several times a day to be connected between us and then the expectation, the demand, our yearning, will arise.

46. S. (01:40:37) It's written that we have to interpret what we say on Shabbat in the song, that he who blesses the seventh is worthy, all that observe the Shabbat. What is that law of Shabbat that we have to keep?

R. The law of Shabbat means that we have completed our entire vessel that we wanted to correct and fill up during the week, and on Shabbat we receive the filling. That's it. This is called, his reward is very great, because he sanctifies the seventh, the seventh day, the Shabbat and this is why he deserves this reward.

47. S. (01:41:41) I heard you say that we constantly need to make sure that we don't have negative forces between us in the group, and the second thing is that we will always have the ability to help each other more and more. There are states that in the efforts to connect we discover strong negative forces, so how do we make sure that they won't be?

R. We constantly check and direct ourselves towards the love of friends and accordingly we discover what is wrong. That's it.

48. S. (01:42:28) What's the difference between sorrow is reward or that the work is the reward?

R. Some advance through problems; and some advance through good rewards.

S. So it's two different things?

R. Yes.

S. So what does it mean success in connection, is that a reward?

R. Success in connection is that we succeed in connecting and from this way discover the reward.

S. But it seems like the work and the reward it's all there?

R. It's all there correct, but it depends on what exactly you are yearning for.

S. What does that mean?

R. Are you yearning for connection, that this will be the reward?

S. Yes.

R. So fine. Why? That through connection you'll be able to bring contentment to the Creator?

S. Yes.

R. Ok.

S. So that is the question, if there is a reward already in the work, by that I'm giving contentment to the Creator, so why do we need an addition and success in connection?

R. No, you can't avoid connection. it is clear that you have to be connected. All our whole work is only in the common vessel.

S. The fact that we are working in it, isn't that a success already? The connection is the result or is the work?

R. Connection itself is a reward, but it can be that the vessel itself is still incomplete. We check the vessel only according to the ability to fill it.

S. So there's a part that builds the vessel and then a part that fills the vessel?

R. Of course, of course.
