Love for the Creator - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #16

Reading from Love for the Creator - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. #16 “There is no other cure for Humanity but to assume the commandant of Providence”

1. R. (01:56) Rav reads: “There's no cure for humanity but to assume the commandment… “ As much as we want to heal our state, to renew it, to make something better of it, nothing will help us. Rav reads: “...but to assume the commandment of providence to bestow upon others in order to bring contentment to the Creator…” That it will be as a law between us. Obviously, it can never come from our own desire, as everyone desires to bestow to themselves. When we rise above ourselves and bestow to others, by this we can heal all the problems and troubles in humanity. There will be more and more problems and trouble if we are still in self-love instead of bestowal to others. This should be in order to give contentment to the Creator. The connection between us and all the bestowal towards others has to be aimed toward bestowing to the Creator. In what way? “The first is “love your friend as yourself,” which is the attribute of the work itself.” I have to actually reach this, like I love myself, as it says, ‘ like you.’ Rav reads: “This means that the measure of work to bestow upon others for the happiness of society should be no less than the measure imprinted in man to care for his own needs. Moreover, he should put his fellow person’s needs before his own…” Why am I now working only for the benefit of others? First of all, I think about the others. I do not work to bestow to others for good results for me, but bestowal to others is specifically what I am aiming for. The condition of ‘love your friend as yourself’ will not be something that we will do because we are forced, but we will keep it because we love. I receive all of the egoistic nature that the Creator created in me for my own benefit. I'm happy to have it because then I can rise above it and I can relate to the others. Rav reads: “The other verse is, “And you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all you might.” This is the goal that must be before everyone’s eyes when laboring for one’s friend’s needs…” If I work in order to connect to the others, I actually do it in order to bestow to the Creator. Rav reads: “This means that he labors and toils only to be liked by the Creator, as He said, “and they do His will”...” Here there is something extra: I think of the friends, whether I want to or not. We are subconsciously connected because we are connected together in the same vessel; but if I think of the Creator, I disconnect from us. That’s why there has to be another rule other than’ ‘love the Lord, your God.’ So there is ‘‘love your friend as yourself’ and then there's a second stage, ‘love the Lord your God.’

2. S. (06:58) ‘To love the Lord your God’ sounds illogical to me. How can I love Him when I don’t know Him?

R. That is why it is not pushed on you in the beginning. You need to go into a ten and then you will gradually see how you are advancing towards love and connection in the ten. See how much you are for it or against it, and who can help you reach connection, in the ten. The connection will rise higher into love. Please do this. It doesn’t happen instantly. That is why he's telling you that you have two stages.

S. We are told that the Creator is revealed between us. This sounds illogical to me that there is a Creator and that He is revealed between us.

R. Yes, of course because you're thinking irrationally about the revelation of the Creator. The Creator is the force of bestowal and love. Can this force be revealed between us?

S. Yes, according to what we are learning.

R. You think the Creator is something else. You came from some other philosophy where it is written that the Creator has a body, he has weight, and He rides a white horse or white donkey or something. By the way, it's right about the white donkey because donkey is Homer, material, matter, and white is the intention to bestow.

S. It sounds like a fantasy that the Creator is revealed between us in the ten.

R. Why?

S. Because it says that we are revealing a force that does not exist in nature.

R. It exists, it just doesn’t exist in you. How can you say it doesn’t exist? How do you know if it exists or not? You always add me but not towards Him.

S. It doesn’t exist in the ten.

R. There are those that have attained it and they are telling you, ‘Attain, don’t believe’ that it is like that. They say, ‘we want to help you attain this.’

S. Did the Kabbalists progress gradually like this?

R. They started from zero. No one starts from spirituality, everyone starts from corporeality, some from states much worse than yours. You have a mind, feeling, a general education; you have a society that can tell you about everything and help you stand correctly. How can you even complain?

S. It sounds like a fable, something that is not related to nature. How do we connect between the friends?

R. There are things that are in our hands and there are things that are not in our hands. We hear about or discover through some instrument all kinds of things. We are not in a primitive state. Kabbalists explain there's a force in nature, a force of bestowal, and we have to reveal it because the force of bestowal is the main force in nature. ‘Nature’ in Gematria means ‘God;’ it is the same thing. The Creator is the nature, so let's reveal Him. Physicists want to reveal Him by their instruments; we discover Him by our instruments. There are forces that you cannot reveal with instruments, they are above our instruments. We study these things in physics but you cannot reveal them with our tools, with our instruments.

S. Is connection between the friends the only condition?

R. This force is revealed only through the connection between people. That is how the special scientists called ‘Kabbalists’ discovered this. It wasn’t revealed just like that, it was revealed to Adam HaRishon.

S. I wish, I also want.

R. This developed in humanity for twenty generations until it reached Abraham, and then from Abraham to us. It is close.

S. I'm strengthened from the fact that you are a Kabbalist, that you have attained this. If you have attained this then we can also.

R. I attained this in a very small manner and you can attain much more, but you need great vessels for it. It is now being revealed in such a way that we can really reach the revelation of the Creator to all the created beings. This is called the end of correction. All in all, it continues from Adam HaRishon to the end of connection. Let’s do it. What's the problem?

S. No problem, we are making the effort.

R. We will try and we will do. We need to give everything, until the final moment, in order to attain. In our world, life is not actually destined for anything but to reveal the upper force.

S. No translation.

R. Everything is an illusion.

3. S. (14:10) What are the correct relations between us in relation to the force called the Creator?

R. The relationships between us are egoistic. If we correct them, even a bit, to be in forms of bestowal, we can feel a new reality, which is the Creator. That is what we need to reveal; that is why He is called ‘Creator,’ Boreh, ‘Come and See.’ ‘Come’ means that we are in relationships of bestowal between us, and ‘See’ means that we discover that there's a special force that is revealed. Like catching fish in our nets, we can catch the Creator in the nice connection between us. That is why it is called ‘Come and See.’
