Passover - Selected Excerpts from the Sources. (Pharaoh #36)

1.Rav’s Introduction: Yes, the parts about the Pharaoh it is the most important thing, the whole substance of creation the desire to receive for itself that is gradually revealed in us with which we grow that we cannot understand or feel reality without feeling this substance, this substance, this material is the whole reality. How can we emerge from it? We cannot, we can only rise above it meaning not to follow It's orders but in reality to come out of it we cannot, we are completely disconnected and to be above it this is why in all the commandments in anything that reconnect to the Creator we say as a reminder of the Exodus from Egypt because by rising above the desired to receive by this we connect to the Creator. If we did not have this desire to receive, this Pharaoh in us we would not be able to connect with the Creator, we wouldn’t be able to find him at all. We would not find ourselves in the field of life because all in all what we know in life, what we feel our qualities are from the desire to receive it's straight and how it keeps us, navigate us, direct us to all of its qualities and only when we come closer to here and there and study some qualities by this we can recognize the upper world which is built entirely on top of the desire to receive, on top of the Pharaoh and this is why we have to see our period of getting to know the Pharaoh our desire to receive as a period that continues until the end of correction when all of the desire to bestow that we can build is on top of the desire to receive and thanks to it, it is build. We progress only this way so the Pharaoh is all of the nature of creation we discover that the Creator prepared for us and anybody whose inclination is the greater than his friend, his evil inclination is also greater because the greater the desire of receivers in the person he is greater it is and it is more difficult for the person to rise above it and it is especially true today because we are already like the first generation of The Last Generation.

We are entering the period of the complete correction and therefore our whole work is how to understand, to recognize this special desire to receive which is, we do not correct ourselves individually instead our correction today in The Last Generation must be by connecting among us, between us. Yes, there are many names for the evil inclination in the Torah, what does it mean, there are many different ways by which it appears within us, between us, mainly between us that the person discovers this with respect to others and actually to others it does not really count it is more to the Creator. There is our desire to receive when we want to enjoy everything and we want to appreciate ourselves, we want to enjoy everything even to the smallest extent compared to something outside of us, this is the Pharaoh in other words the Pharaoh is revealed when we regard ourselves as more than anything that is on the outside. R. We have a common deficiency for the revelation of the Creator in order to reveal him, in order to give him contentment. This is how we come to a state where we have the right vessel and this vessel is built on top of the desire to receive as we learn, the restriction, the screen, and the reflected light. We weigh ourselves, measure ourselves according to how much on top of the disturbances we can think about the Creator. I cannot think about the Creator. I can only depict him as the group. We are talking about vessels; we have no dealing with the light we can only talk about the vessels. We can only imagine it this way through the vessel therefore our whole request to the Creator at the end is expressed through the request to the group to the extent we connect, to the extent that we crave for the connection, to the extent we are concerned only with this to that extent we progress. I have nothing more to add.

5. S. (10:34) About the deficiency, I have such great friends but my desire to receive a lot of time is working against my friends. How should I relate between my desire to receive and my willingness to love my friends?

R. You need to work on this. Who is more important? If it is in the desire to receive than I am more important there is no question about it but in the desire to bestow the Creator is more important, he is the source of bestowal, and the Creator is not expressed in my vessel. I cannot feel a desire to bestow unless I discover this within my desire to receive therefore we have to connect among us. We have to build unity among us and as much as each of us can help the others rise above the desire to receive and be connected between us, by this we build the Creator as it is written; you have made me. We do not have the qualities of the Creator at present inherently in order to begin with but only by connecting above that desire to receive and this way we locate this quality, the desire to bestow.

In other words imagine that there are people who are normative people, selfish people, regular people and suddenly they discover that there is love between them and where is this love? Where Is this love coming from? It is between them; it cannot be in one of them or in two or within the person, but it is in the sensitivity of the person to another person. In other words the quality of bestowal is not present in the person himself, it has to be from one person to the other person and that is how we discover and develop the quality of bestowal. This quality of bestowal should come to a certain level where I can feel it and measure it, perhaps even accumulate it and work with it. What am I going to do? So here there needs to be the support of the group each helping each other, where each one starts to help the others develop between them that quality of bestowal. How to keep the quality of bestowal that is between them, how they can begin to study this, its qualities, its manners and in this way we start to reveal the Creator.

6. S. (14:45) Are we supposed to resist the evil inclination or accept it and thank the Creator?

R. We need to see how we work with all the qualities and with everything that is in us correctly because the Creator did not create anything redundant without any need. Everything that we have in us, all the qualities we have to work with them, and we must not eat ourselves up and be dissatisfied with all the qualities we have even the worst qualities that I seemingly see in myself. I have to tell myself that there is a time which comes that I understand how to work with these qualities correctly and then they will be revealed again more and more but I can work with them correctly and only this way when both in the good inclination and with the evil inclination and by this I can serve the Creator there is a degree of a righteous and there is a degree of complete righteous complete righteous means that evil with the evil inclination that is revealed the worst qualities correctly.

Then it will be revealed again and more and more that I can work with them correctly and only in this way with both, with the good inclination and the bad inclination, only in this way will I be able to serve the Creator, there is a degree of righteous and a degree of complete righteous. Complete righteous means that even with all the evil inclination that is revealed to him, the worst qualities, the most unpleasant, the worst propensities, qualities we can still understand and feel and receive the strength to work with them in order to bestow.

There is nothing in reality that the Creator created that cannot be corrected therefore the person should not consume himself but let just say that in the meantime I haven't come to the state where I can correct the evil inclination completely or that much. That I may be righteous to a certain extent, but I am not a complete righteous. The complete righteous means that he turns his enemy into his friend so there will come a time when I can use it correctly but in the meantime I cannot so what can I do. It is actually the Creator showing me how much I am good in some way and the evil in some other way, and I have to accept everything with subjugation and work with everything in order to bestow as much as I can. There are differences, I restrict my desires some I may use in order to bestow and perhaps with some of them I can even use to receive in order to bestow and then this is how we build the Partzuf, meaning all our qualities are connected in this diverse way so that all in all I turn them into the maximum bestowal in every state I am in. We will learn how to do this but right now we are beginning to get into it.

7. S. (18:26) How can we use this personal Pharaoh in the right way in the work in the ten?

R. You have to try to use this force in order to progress because without going into Egypt, without being incorporated into the Pharaoh, without taking from him everything that is in him this is called the people of Israel take from Egypt everything they need in order to progress in spirituality later, so we need it all. We must not slide, disregard what we have before us. We should only see it, how to use all the forces, we have to sort out how to use all these dispositions and qualities correctly, what we can use and how to use everything that is in me in order to bestow, in order to connect. The goal is achieved through connection in the group so we have to look at the goal and this is my main spiritual work, what do I need to do, what can we do in order to build a vessel for the revelation of the Creator in order to bring him contentment and this is our work. What is not suitable for me for this work I still have to use it in order to exist because I have to sustain my beast but in fact I need to concentrate my mind and heart on being connected with the friends in order to build the vessel for the revelation of the Creator and that's it so In thoughts there isn't much room for confusion and of course our lives bring me great confusions, but I have no choice. I have to understand that all those disturbances in life stem from my vessel and by this I scrutinize my system of Adam ha Rishon.

S. So in the name of the group or the friends I have to do everything I can, right? If it is for the group.

R. Yes, it sounds like that, but you are not doing it for them for their sake, you are doing it for your own sake. You still do not feel that what you are doing for the sake of the group is for you yourself.

9. S. (23:09) I heard you say previously that we have to help each other rise above the desire to receive. How can we practically do this?

R. When I make calculations with my friends in the group and I try in these calculations to do everything for the sake of the group, then in this practical way I scrutinize my desires and I direct them and relate them to the intention to bestow, from my personal to the collective, to the group.

S. Can I give directly to the friends or if I see a friend who fell down a bit I have to do it through the ten to this friend or can I do this directly with him?

R. You can do this directly or you can do this through the ten and scrutinize along the way what is more effective.

S. One more question to continue. What I think is that the most effective thing that ten can do is to talk together about how we can help a different friend, the question is: should we do this without the friend or together with him should we consult with him?

R. This is not a question anymore. It depends on the specific situation you are in. You can talk about it together, not, or just two friends. Rabash also writes that sometimes you have to take a friend and speak to him privately and not in front of everybody else. These things are, you cannot write about everything, a general prescription we have to always try to see if it is promoting us to the goal is it directly and as immediately as possible or not. This should be the principle that helps us to sort out the possibilities.

10. S. (25:43) You said about the Partzuf a few times today, how should we sort out all the qualities this way so we can really build the spiritual Partzuf in the ten?

R. This comes to us gradually by constantly sorting out, scrutinizing, and connecting. It is like having in front of you a pile of stuff and you, first of all, have to sort it: why are you sorting it, what exactly do you need, at what point do you need to sort it, what stage do you need to sort it and build something out of it by sorting and connecting. Now, how does it help you in the sorting in the next stage and in the connection in the next stage, and in the sorting and connecting on the third stage, and so forth. So you need to gradually learn through all this work the stages, each stage leads you to the next stage. We will study this, in the meantime, we need to try to locate our general connection, the ten and how it should be correct in terms of the connection in it. That each one wants to complement the others and all of us, everyone, wants to compliment everyone else, as we see it today, to each one in a different measure, in a different manner and afterwards we will find a deeper advancement, more incorporation in each other.

S. I'm sure all the friends are doing this work all the time and we also choose our connection over other things in life. But at what moment does this sorting out become a spiritual Partzuf?

R. They will come to it, in the end, all our scrutinous will bring us to feel that by this I am sorting and building the Partzuf. I start to see what other desires I have, what thoughts, what relationships I have with the group, and to what extent I can sort them and arrange them better or more. How much all those relationships have to be connected correctly among themselves so that I will see among them, a system, and this system, I will see how to advance with it more and more, what is missing, and this is how we advance; we need to detect these things between us and only then realize them. There are no words for it so much, if there are words, we will use them and if there aren’t then according to what each of us discovers in his ten. Then we will speak among the tens about how we can explain our relationships within each ten so as to help the nearby tens with what we do so they will do it, too. This has is already work that pertains to the last degeneration, when we emerge from the boundary of the ten into several tens, into many tens; this is already a stage where we are building the nation, that’s what it’s called. We will do it.

11. R. (31:05) So, we have several very interesting things here: who is directing us to the intention to bestow? It is the Pharaoh, he is giving us the exact direction that is opposite from him and in this way he is directing us to the Creator, and this is his role. This is why we say that “He did not, the Creator did not create in this world anything redundant” especially such a great egoistic force without which we would not be able to reach the Creator. This egoistic force constantly, constantly shows me, directly, points me to the Creator. If I look correctly in each and every egoistic force that is revealed in me in every single moment, then I will see how it direct me to the Creator. Let's say, ‘there is no greater help, no greater servant to the Creator than Pharaoh’, our will to receive which constantly directs us, if we want to understand where, and we will see that it constantly directs us toward the Creator. We only need to add the thought and a little bit of desire to use our nature correctly and we will see that all of our nature, in all of its forms, directs us to the Creator.

12. R. In truth this excerpt is really twisted, it’s not simple but we read.

13. S. (35:36) These excerpts speak about the body. If the ten is man, what is man's body in the ten?

R. The body of the ten is only those desires that we can direct to one purpose, one goal, and in that goal they actually unite and achieve this goal , they unite. This is called the Guf, the body; it is as we see in the spiritual Partzuf, that you have different qualities, even contradictory qualities but if they all want to bestow contentment upon the Creator, then they all unite into one Partzuf under one screen in one direction. In this way they work together toward the Creator and then all of them together receive, each according to his own character, receive the upper light in order to bestow and this is called the Partzuf.

14. S. (37:00) Previously we talked about “storms” and here it also says talking about it in a certain way?

R. No, first of all, I do not see where you are taking this from. I do not see where you are taking this from, where do you have these translations that you are so confused about? Who’s in charge of the translation to Russian?

Who is organizing them? I don't know. We have to check very well how we do this. It has to be much clearer what this excerpt is about and how the learn it.

18. S. (45:01) Yesterday we discussed these excerpts, and we came to the conclusion that the Amalek is the part of the will to receive that deflects us, veers us off from the right intentions.

R. Yes, Amalek is an abbreviation, it is ‘in order to receive’. If you take the first letter from every word, ‘in order to receive’. So our most internal intentions of our ego are called Amalek.

19. S. (45:55) How does the Pharaoh rule the body with its qualities, it’s not clear, can you explain it?

R. With all of our qualities, thoughts, desires, even an atom when it spins or molecules, all kinds of materials that are interchanging, everything that goes around in our bodily systems and in our thoughts, in our scrutinies, all these things, all the levels, the will to receive controls. The way these matters connect, the liquids, all kinds of components of our bodies, how they connect in synapses and all kinds of systems in the nervous system, everything is the will to receive, it is the only one that works and directs the whole body to its work where the main formula is: maximum enjoyment in minimal investment. This is basically the main formula of the will to receive, our ego, this is how it works. As little as possible to invest and as much as possible gain. This is the formula of the biological body and thoughts, every level in our nature, this is how it works, and we do not need to change that, we just need to change the goal, the direction.

What are we doing this for, for what are we activating this system? Meaning we want to go into our systems, into our bodily systems that are entirely governed by the systems of desire, and we want our desire to change its direction. What is it functioning for, for what is it doing it? We want it only to be for the Creator and this is the opposite of me, that’s how it turns out, so how can I change its direction? By being in a group, through it, I draw the light that reforms and this light changes my mind and emotions for me, and then I start taking a new direction. Not to work for myself but bit by bit to work for the Creator. This is called “to rise from me to faith above reason”. This is our work.

20. S. (49:49) Sometimes it seems that Pharaoh is like a help mate against us, but Amalek seems more like the revelation of the bad, like the Sitra Achra. I am a little confused, can you explain the differences between them?

R. There are many forces of evil, forces of evil and forces of good, and they are revealed according to where the person is, the state he is in and the way he should advance. That’s how these forces are revealed in him, both on the good and the bad side, and the person is between these two systems. We do not have on our way of correcting the entire creation, how can we see these things if we do not even see one meter before us? This is why we have means that the Creator created which is the group. In it, the more we care about the connection between us it is clear, it is certain that we are performing actions of correction. This is why I should focus on that, what is written, “from the love of other beings to the love of the Creator”; otherwise we are going to lose the path. Usually you are asking about global general things, but we do not see them, we're not connected to them. The connection with them is only through us being connected between us so caring about the connection between us is the main thing. Even though this is specific, this is before us, it’s pleasant, nobody really wants this because we’re all the will to receive, that’s true, but without us caring about this in each and every moment, we will not advance in each and every movement in the right direction. We do not have any other landmarks, we do not have any other options, what can we do? Bring me some new, different discernment, I am happy to hear. You will not find them.

21. S. (54:18) We have four degrees of the desire so is all the suffering in my life that I feel, what does this point to? The question is: those four levels of the desire, they are all for the intention towards myself; food, sex, family, knowledge, respect, it is all for you, for myself.

R. Of Course.

S. So any suffering in life indicates that these desires with the intention for myself, I cannot satisfy them?

R. Yes

S. So how, I am sorry I'm a little confused. Is it good to do this exercise, for example let's say I am suffering now, so I determine which level of desire is now suffering or should I say that it is all the ego?

R. I do not think we should have these scrutinies, what exact desire is now in me, in each and every moment are changing, so how does this help me, would I become a psychologist? I do not think that the main thing is to change the direction that whatever I do that now I am doing where I am aiming myself only towards connection.

S. It seems like there is a hierarchy of desires and to the extent of the development from me in the priority’s, food, sex, first, then respect and knowledge. So for me, one of these levels is of higher priority. So let's see I need money for knowledge or knowledge for money so there is a feeling that there is a hierarchy and a logical order.

R. Of course there is a ladder of desires, a ladder of values, of degrees but what do you want to scrutinize by that? What are you aimed to? That is something you have to scrutinized.

S. I want to scrutinize and clarify that above it all, above even the knowledge, there, we reveal what is above reason, bestowal. So I am interested to know how it is distinguished, separated, so I will classify it correctly, so I will enclose it correctly within me. What is the difference between the intentions for myself or for bestowal?

R. I do not think that this is what you should do, to start scrutinizing and sorting it out in your intellect, will this lead you to a solution? No, you should simply, practically, in the group, do everything that the Kabbalists recommend you should do, and this will bring you to an understanding and a feeling and the right solution of how to relate to yourself and to the group. That’s what Rabash writes in all of his articles.

S. Okay, so for the last time, if all the suffering in my life points to my desires being because of my intention for myself? I am a bit confused.

S. This is why I am saying, a little less thought and more action, and the action will bring you the right thoughts, that God has created to do, to do.

22. S. (59:08) We connect in the ten, we are Incorporated in the common prayer. What does it mean that out of this connection we can bestow upon the Creator and what does it mean that you can bestow at all, to each other or upon the Creator?

R. We can strengthen each other when each one yearns to reach the goal through the connection to the others by that he prepares an infrastructure for all of us to connect together and to discover in the connection between us the Creator, period.

S. It’s just that with regard to the intention to bestow, you said that we connect in the ten and then we can use this connection to receive in order to bestow, use the desire to bestow in this connection. So how?

R. The light that reforms will come and will give you the feeling and understanding how you can use your desires in order to bestow; that your usage will be important for you if it is for others, and the others will become more important for you than yourself?

S. This is clear, meaning we connect, and the connection should be more important than me. How in that state, what does it mean to receive? Do I receive in the friends meaning the friends should receive?

R. You are pulling it for them. Why are you asking about these things, we have not reached that you are already calculating in order, how you’ll do it. I do not know what is going on today, I guess we are entering Egypt.

23. S. (01:01:30) When Pharaoh is revealed between us, how can we completely annul unconditionally?

R. Only through the example that we give each one to the other in the group, and we are asking the Creator to give us the force to annul, that is all. There is a special spirit today, a special wind in all of our groups, it is nice, it is good.

24. S. (01:02:28) How do we leverage that?

R. So we all have to understand that we are a bit confused, this is what happens when we’re going through the degrees we’re changing the degrees, we have to feel this current state. We do not yet have the intellect to scrutinize this in our brain but in the feeling, in the heart, we have to incorporate in that later, we will scrutinize that.

S. What is later?

R. What is later? When a new wind comes, a new spirit comes, and we will also understand what is going on with us. It always happens to us when someday we don't understand what is going on and the next day everything comes down and we start understanding what happened yesterday. It is okay.

25. S. (01:03:29) What is the difference between the desire to receive in the mind and desire to receive in the heart?

R. In the intellect, in the mind there are calculations and in the heart there are feelings.

26. S. (01:04:00) The question is regarding the change of direction, the shift from the will to receive to the will to bestow. In the excerpts we just read, Rav says that we just need to change the direction. Isn't it just another calculation that the will to receive does but now it is more worthwhile for it to maybe listen to others, heed what Kabbalists say?

R. Yes, the will to receive also tells you that with all your failures it is better for me to just fold myself and to stay under something but that is not the correction of the will to receive. It does not want to reach something else; it simply wants to get less blows and by that to succeed. That is not changing it in an essential way, making it a will to bestow. It is some kind of running away.

S. So what is the real change?

R. Real change is when, this too, what you’re saying is also a step on the path, on the way, but a real change is when I do not want the will to receive in various other ways, bigger or smaller, to work in me but rather I want an essential change. I want to really bestow, disconnected from myself, from my will to receive. How can I reach a state where I contribute, I give, I connect, I bring it out of myself? How can I work without an upper force that works in bestowal that I, too, want to add to it? Meaning to disconnect myself from reception and somehow ascribe myself to bestowal. Even if I am somehow just incorporated in it, annul, I disappear.

S. Is it the same will to receive that operates simply takes on a new path or is something born in a person that didn't exist in him, what should I expect?

R. Expect what you feel and the more that you try to feel it, the more internally you will start discovering how it happens. So start discovering how this is happening, that you really have now suddenly in you, there is a new disposition and then it will be gone again. Then again you will find some revelation, then it will be gone again. That is how it will happen intermittently until it will be born.

S. This tendency is felt in the will to receive?

R. It is felt inside of man's desire, yes. Not the will to receive but the will, the desire.

27. S. (01:07:34) How can I use the Pharaoh condition in a positive way for us in the ten?

R. We are talking about it all the time: how I can use the Pharaoh in me that I am entirely this way in all kinds of ways, degrees, and all my tissues, thoughts, my desires, everything I have, that is the will to receive, that is how it works. All of the matter of creation, there is nothing besides the will to receive and the will to receive shows its actions in our senses in the degrees of the still, vegetative, animate, and speaking. We want to change however we can, wherever we can, to have this desire aimed at bestowing contentment to the Creator rather than us. Kabbalists explain to us what it means to the Creator. It means outside of yourself. What does it mean outside of me?

That you are using essential things in the world in order to exist, only what you have to, and all the rest, you want to aim outside of yourself. Even with respect to the still, vegetative and animate, and more over with the speaking level. You want to work and act only for their sake, which is called in order to bestow. So we are learning how we can come out from the will to receive to the will to bestow. That is our work, that is our study. By trying to invert our self to in order to bestow, we are rewarded with support, we get support. The will to receive which is the Creator, He is concealed from us, starts being discovered more and more, supporting us more and more. We find some connection with it. How we can reach more connection with Him, a tighter connection, clearer and felt connection by us connecting between ourselves. Then we understand that He broke us so that in the relations between us we will build a system that is called the Creator, Come and See. Then we will be able to hold on to Him, to have a grip, to feel Him, otherwise we cannot. We cannot perceive this air or something that is not felt. It goes through all of our qualities, and we cannot perceive it. We can perceive it if in our qualities we will have a net, just like you catch fish so we can catch Him, but this net has to be according to the equivalence of form.

So we build it between us such a net, a network that is called connection, until we reach love and accordingly in this network, we discover this quality that basically fills the entire reality. Now in this net we are building, we feel how much we can catch Him, locate Him, get to know Him, learn Him. And then we can even, out of this network we have built in the connection between us, we start relating to Him. That in our network, there are all kinds of changes and by these changes that we do in the connection between us in this net, we will start feeling accordingly, the Creator, the way He responds to it. Then we have an interaction, already, a common language between us and Him, that is called the connection between the Creator and the created beings. Then we start to speak with Him, that is what we call it, that is what we want to reach but everything is built on the network, on our net, and how much we try to bring this net of connection between us, the form of the Creator, the form of bestowal until it becomes love, accordingly we will discover Him, according to the law of equivalent of form. So let us work on it and then finally we will reach the realization.

28. S. (01:13:40) There's a certain impression that Pharoah has the quality of pride and I discovered that when I want to engage in bestowal, I want to rise higher and higher, so I am in my will to receive, I want to know more, I want to feel more, I want to be spiritually stronger, I want to delight my vessel with pleasures of the Creator. The moment that I reveal that I’m engaging in bestowal because of these desires, what kind of subjugation is required for me to overcome?

R. Importance, that is what we are missing. Nothing more than that. That the attainment of the Creator of the force of bestowal and love will be the most important thing. When I want to reach that force, that direction, that relation to him, I can do that only by preparing myself in the connection to others, preparing the whole world for me that is called for others. That in relation to the others in the world, to in the still, vegetative, animate and especially to the speaking level and about correctly realizing this in my ten I reach a state that through that I bestow contentment to Him. I want to express through the friends, love of Him because the Creator is called the sum total, the all-inclusive. That is why if I am in a ten, I am always thinking about how I'm going to give contentment to the Creator. That is to the sum total of us in a ten. That is how I should imagine it. Am I giving contentment to him in each and every moment? If I am in this direction I can be certain that I am advancing. After the number of efforts I can discover my relation to the Creator by that I will feel the Creator's relation to me. That is how I reach a mutual connection between me and the Creator.

S. Also, there is a feeling that on the one hand when I'm concerned of my ten they are like my children they're like my children and I have to protect them I have to raise them up but on the other hand, the ten is my parent that I absorb all parts of them. I think there are two states and how to maintain the two of them? It is hard work so that they will both be my children and my parents. I will absorb from them, and I will also give to them.

R. You will start working and you will see how it does require these two directions, both receiving and bestowing because if you don't receive you don't bestow. You will see how one thing dresses into the other.

29. S. (01:18:10) Yesterday in the lesson, I heard you say that everything is clarified in thought and today you said to do more actions and think less. What is the right order here or should we do both, or a certain approach?

R. Do both this and that and then you will see what needs to happen. If you do not do actions your thoughts will just be theoretical and will not lead you to anything, you will just get confused. If you work and do actions without thought then you are going to go in circles without any direction. You need both, but it is impossible that there will be thought without action and action without thought. These things have to be in balance and especially they need to be balanced in the ten. The ten there is such a participation, such a connection between the friends that all in all some like to do more, some like to think more. Internally they complete each other in a way that we don't even understand why we became connected like this in the ten, the Creator will govern that. Both are needed, both in actions and thoughts.

R. I think that all of our desires to receive, all of them are completely built within us and appear within us to bring us to a form of bestowal even though they are essentially opposite to bestowal, they are to receive. R. We are all Incorporated together and we feel that our connection is working then it doesn't matter to me who is bringing contentment to the Creator so to speak. Each of us is just a product of our connection. What does it matter to me if you bring contentment to the Creator? Because you are not you, it is a result of all the work, connections, and efforts we made between us. There is no one here between us who stays as an individual, as a prominent one single individual disconnected from others. All of us and all of humanity, throughout history is always connected, it is always interconnected to the point that we are becoming gradually closer to the form of one Man and the Torah talks about it for thousands of years already. We cannot think that we are isolated and distant and not integrated. I'm not talking about chromosomes or some other external layers of corrections, I am talking about the inner properties of connection. That after the shattering of Adam HaRishon we go through many corrections.

These corrections are just in levels that are below the threshold of our consciousness. We do not feel these corrections, but we are included with them. The planet Earth and the whole mechanism of the natural system that we are in, all of it ties us together and brings us closer on the degrees of the still, vegetative and animate. Now we have come to the point where we must knowingly and consciously begin to make connections in our desire and with our decision. If it is without our decision and without our desire then we are all ready for a few thousand years interconnected between us and different ways starting from the ancient world. What happened in ancient Persia, in Greece, and ancient Egypt and ancient China. 32. S. (01:25:37) I wanted to ask about excerpt thirty-eight. It is written that Pharaoh wants revelation that everyone will agree with his mind and then he will allow a person to work so that the ego expands but in order to overcome it. I have to know over what to overcome as if there is a constant criticism

R. You want to work with Pharaoh instead of your evil inclination, your nature? You just have to understand one thing that your nature is tuned by the Creator which is the general mechanism of reality. This mechanism orchestrates you and all created beings in a way that you move towards correction. You have to do what is up to you which are some actions which are compatible with the correction.

S. Some suffering comes, and I say okay I guess it is Pharaoh the faithful servant of the Creator is showing himself towards me. Does the Creator want to bring me closer, but the suffering does not let go and along with that there is a good feeling like a longing towards the ascent, as we say? Is that a good process?

R. Everything is correct. If you think there is something incorrect it is only in your thoughts. Everything that happens should happen. We just need to correct our attitude towards what happens. That is all the correction. You do not do anything in reality. Changing it this way or that way. You are only changing your own relation to reality that appears before you. What you are changing is called your correction. You are not correcting reality; you're correcting your attitude towards reality. Then your reality appears to you according to how you need to correct your attitude towards reality.

S. About a year ago when we studied this at Passover, there was a similar feeling as if I am captive and I cannot breathe and I am under my own imprisonment.

R. Well that is what you go through with many different states. Just do not become overwhelmed so that it throws you out. There are some people who are weak. Sometimes you see people in a theater, like a movie theater and they are looking at the scene that they see, and they cannot. They are just so overwhelmed that they just leave, they step out. Why? We have to accept all of these things and the right attitude that this is life, and we need to raise ourselves to a degree where we can receive everything there can be in nature, anything. There is no coincidence. I understand that you are sensitive. There are many others like you, and it is good. We also have to balance the emotion with the mind and the mind is not inside of us, it is not each of us any of us, in any of us. Mind is an asset. Baal HaSulam explains it in one of the articles. One who acquires the mind, acquires it as an asset. How do we acquire it? It is through connection. It is like the synopsis that we have in our brain. They are connections between different reactions and activities in our brains, the main thing are those synapses. S. Being consistent in thought is enough to cause more synapses and connections?

Spiritually speaking, otherwise I remain in concern for myself, which is the opposite of spirituality, which is Klipot . R. I don't understand.

S. Many times I heard you say that we should connect in our feelings?

R. Right, that's right. In a feeling, meaning there is a common feeling between us . It is not your feeling, or my feeling but it is a shared feeling. A common feeling.

S. What is a shared feeling?

R. What is a shared feeling? That there you can't tell the difference between you and me. It is something that is common.

S. That we want the same thing together?

R. Let's say so but it is not even us together. It's one thing, because together means two - together that it is not one, but two things coming together. A common feeling is a feeling that is above us that is why it is towards the Creator because He is our root.

39. S. (01:42:31) Instead of dwelling on the conditions we cannot get out of, or should we move forward by solving the conditions that we see as problems?

R. Everything that appears to us we have to accept as disturbances on our way towards connection between us. That is it. If we can join that connection and understand how we do, by that we can increase the connection between us. That is a sign that we advance correctly. If we do not find how we can use all these disturbances in connecting more between us then we cannot yet find it. But still it does not need to stop us, we need to see how we connect about the disturbances. This can be disturbances from anything further or closer to the group the ten, general disturbances, individual disturbances, it does not matter, it all belongs in one Kli . There are also such instructions that a person needs to join in the sorrow of the world so that the created beings be included with them ,it all belongs to the general correction of the Kli.

40. S. (01:44:57) What I heard is, if I think of the Creator it is self-reception and if I think of the friends it is bestowal?

R. Okay.

S. To be more precise, what can I think of about my friends, that they will think of their friends to be more precise what can I think of about my friends that they will think of the friends.

R. No, I want to think of the connection between us and the group as concrete as possible. What do we need now to do so that our connection will be tighter and so that is how step-by-step we will make it tighter to the point that the Creator begins to appear in our connection, and we will achieve such a connection that the Creator is revealed?

S. In the most concrete way how is that expressed? When I think of each one, each and every friend?

R. Yes, and not that I think this way about each and every one but everyone together. Let's say that I get out of the lesson now and throughout the whole time until the next lesson, then we might have a meeting in the ten something else, but I always think 24 hours. including in the time and in the lesson. I think about only one thing, how do we come to a single system? Because that is where the Creator is revealed. I do not need anything more but for the connection between us. I know how difficult that is and how each and every one rejects it, but this is really the correction of the world, and this is how we will correct all of the troubles and problems in the world, between all people, and between man and the Creator.

S. If I think about it I make efforts in that direction, you said I cannot change anything except for my attitude so if at the end of the day I do my summary and see that maybe we agreed on something, I wanted something and I didn't do it, and I don't agree with this state. Here I damage, by not agreeing with a Creator and what I should have?

R. Pray, activate a prayer, a request from the Creator. Why did he not help you stay connected to the friends and help you think of the friends? S. Yesterday we prepared for today's lesson. We had a meeting with the friends, a meal for an hour, and then you come to the lesson and then it is not good to us. You are not being good about us; you are saying that we are being confused and we want to prepare in a good way but if we come to the lesson it turns out we are already doing something wrong.

R. This is exactly the right form of progress. That you put in a lot of effort yesterday and you wanted to be today in the lesson, clear and wise with your mind and your emotion working well and you see that you are in something that is like a fog. There is no great desire, motivation, no clarity in the mind, no feelings and everything is just blocked. What does that indicate? It means that you have new vessels. new vessels. After you have made progress yesterday and that you made efforts yesterday. Where does Baal HaSulam write about the sanctity of the day. I understand what it means to think about friends but completely don't understand what it means to think about a ten especially on a group as you just said. It was always just well maybe I just now understood that I was never successful and thinking about the ten.

R. We went through and are going through and will continue to go through all sorts of states and different ways. All of it is to bring about more connection, both with those that are with us physically and those that are no longer with us physically, but they are connected in other ways. We shouldn't pay too much attention to whether our friends are even alive or dead. We have to continue. We have to understand that through all of these incarnations we come to a single desire where the Creator is revealed and that is what takes us to the final correction. We have to continue and include that friend with us as existing between us and not let ourselves be ruled by emotions but see that all these things are orchestrated by the Creator to us, and we have to continue.

42. S. (01:59:36) How do I know I am connected above my own desire , because everyone perceives it differently in the ten?

R. If I am connected in the will to bestow I feel the group, the friends, the world, the Creator as one mechanism as much as possible, there are different degrees in this but first of all I have to be connected to my friends in my ten and to be concerned of the connection between us because to the extent that we connect, to that extent we can be connected to the Creator.

43. S. (02:00:30) Is it important for us to feel the part within us that rejects connection?

R. Yes. If we want or if we're drawn to connection we along with that also have to discover how we reject the connection. Otherwise, we do not have a right measurement, right indication where we are.

44. S. (02:01:03) What can we do with the coarseness of the will to receive when we work in bestowal?

R. Only to overcome it because we need the coarseness, we are not erasing the will to receive, we just have to overcome above it and make connections above it. But the will to receive itself not to hate it, hate it in the way that I do not want to use it but not that I want to erase it. There has to be a nice, correct attitude towards reality. 45. S. (02:02:15) How to use all the vessels of the Egyptian with closed eyes and continue to overcome the corporeal disturbances if the Creator allows all our spiritual accomplishments to disappear?

R. According to that we have to try and connect between us in such a way to complete one another, we have to understand that our connections have to be like a plug and a socket, they go into one another and what is in me a plus, so in the other there is a minus and then by connecting the plus and minus correctly, we work on our connection with the Creator correctly. That's why we do not have anything that is redundant. But we just have to learn how to work with all our qualities in participation in the right connection between us.

Because Adam is a collection of us to that system of Adam HaRishon, that is why before we try to really connect in the ten we do not have actual spiritual work especially in our times as the last generation.

48. S. (02:06:29) It seems like each one has a different Pharaoh; his own disturbance could be a different friend and it could be covid or something. How to unite all the forms of Pharaoh to one, is it necessary, is a doable?

R. The friend that disturbs the corona that disturbs, it's not actually Pharaoh himself. Pharaoh himself is when we don't want to connect, we reject that connection between us, that is the matter of Pharaoh. So now the question, how do we reach a revelation of a Pharaoh when we want to connect even though we have internal disturbances and we also discover tendency to connect and also rejection from the connection, from both of them we assemble this image of Pharaoh. Meaning before we try to connect there is no real Pharaoh between us, our personal ego s, individual ego that is not Pharaoh. Before the children of Israel enter Egypt and start working for Pharaoh, only after 7 years when they are in the work of Egypt, only then they start discovering the real Pharaoh, the real force that won't let them come closer to the Creator.

Before that no, it is a force of development that we feel more, understand more, we are wiser, it still does not come to our feelings more in our minds, more psychology. When we start seeing it as a Pharaoh is when the force stops us or disturbs us from connecting. Then we feel exile above, there is a force between us that is separating between us, and no way will let us connect. R. 55. S. (02:15:40) When does thought become a prayer?

R. Thought becomes a prayer when it is so strong that it won't let a person get rid of it, it brings a person's sorrow, it brings a person purposeful sorrow and then he understands who to turn to, how to turn, what to ask for, that is how it happens.

56. S. (02:16:27) Even the smallest scrutiny in the ten always leads to many reviews and frictions. It seems like the will to receive celebrates during scrutiny, there is more disconnection than connection, how to do it in the ten?

R. That is true, when we start scrutinizing things we have in our feelings and our mind we supposedly, more and more, we crumble our discernments and it is as if we make a bigger distance between thoughts, opinions then distances come between them, then we don't know what we are going to do. There is a big confusion in our thoughts and our opinions, so many, different, what should we do? Then we have to understand that love will cover all our crimes, meaning the more thoughts and desires and everything that is revealed from the shattered vessel it is all being revealed from the shattered vessel of Adam HaRishon. So first of all it is not so bad, it is okay and one hand, on the other hand what is going on? We have a lot of thoughts, we have a lot of opinions, we have a lot of friction, we have a lot of arguments, and we now above this need to hug. We need to hug. I'm everything we have below this hug, it is all in assets, a mutual asset that our increasing will to receive and we in that increased will to receive will eventually discover the Creator in which way? 59. S. (02:21:23) What do we need to reach the right connection?

R. Except for the desire we do not need anything, if you're asking, simple. Desire and we do not have it, so what should we do? Turn to the Creator, so what do we need? Prayer and the prayers under the condition that we understand how to turn, who to turn to and what to ask for. Then we need to scrutinize these things and this way we need to scrutinize each and every state we have until we reach the correction.

60. S. (02:22:10) I came to the lessons today, I could not hear a word until I started thinking about the ten, is it how it should be?

R. Sometimes it happens this way, sometimes I enter the lesson and then come out of the lesson and don't think of the ten once, to such an extent that I was maybe disconnected from the ten and connected to the topic of the lesson intellectually. Actually we need to awaken ourselves correctly to connection and before us there is really a very nice period, where let's not be afraid of it, because I feel there are a lot of people that are afraid. Let's not be afraid, let us distance ourselves from this fear and inner anxiety, let us devote, give ourselves to the Creator, let him connect us. Like a kindergarten teacher in the kindergarten, let him do anything with us whatever needs to happen. Let's not supervise over what he's doing to us but just a bit more with devotion to the upper force.

61. S. (02:23:43) Can there be a global connection network of global connection with each woman before there is a network of connection in each and every ten?

R. I think so, that the women need to be more connected between them and they should continue, or they will pull the men behind them, and it is really as it's written with the righteous women we come out of Egypt. Yes.

62. S. (02:24:18) You said they're all kinds of disturbances before the person, they have to do the general corrections so what is our attitude to corporeal disturbances, how do we relate them to spiritual disturbances?

R. We need to exist in the corporeal world in a rational way, as it is written, not for the good enough for the bad it should just feel normal. We have everything we need in order to exist don't go overboard but also don't start restricting yourself in the way you don't need to, each one according to the way they're organized, and the main thing is in bestowal, the upper force.

63. S. (02:25:08) How do you suggest increasing, amplifying this network?

R. I do not know. I just think our women have so much intellect, feeling and opportunities and vessels, that they can do everything they need in order to build the net and in this net you should hunt all the men in there and bring them out of Egypt too. That is what all the women need to do.

64. S. (02:25:59) The hatred that has surfaced between nations is very strong, is it something that spiritual love can come out of, is it the beginning of a real connection?

R. This is a good example to overcome hatred to spiritual connection, because what is revealed now as much as the times come close to one another they can also be colliding with one another in a lack of connection and hatred. It is only the beginning of revelation of evil that can happen between all nations, each and every nation and it turns out that here we need to understand that we have no choice, we have to advertise the method of correction and the purpose of correction to all the human races.

They won't search for the correction of the world and the solution for these wars. These wars will even get broader, and they can include a lot of countries and nations in them. If we won't start explaining and disseminating the method of correction, otherwise it will explode and develop and there won't be any correction from it. The thing is that humans, nations do not have any method of how to overcome what is being revealed between them. The hatred being revealed has no remedy because everyone is right, everyone is right, each one judges the other by his feeling or emotion and what will be the end? Then we reach a degree where we descend into wars, such primitive things, that by the force in each and every one in their hands they actually want to prove that he is more right. How can that be? Look at where humanity is by physical force to prove that I am right, it's like bullies on the street. Only by disseminating where the world has to get to and we will see that through war they do not get anything, only lengthen the period of exile before the corrections. So we need to try and explain this, there is no choice, love will cover all the crimes, this is our only correction, and the crimes are revealed just so that we can bring correction. Especially women to implement the correction above the rejection that is being revealed between the women much more naturally than the man.

65. S. (02:30:38) I want to ask will we be able to organize a congress in Israel, is there a need for a congress?

R. We cannot organize a congress and Israel as long as we have the corona because we have an issue in Israel of another wave of Corona that started about two or three weeks ago and today it is exploding in really not simple magnitude. So we ourselves, we wanted to have a big meal here as we know we have this hall where we can have even fifteen hundred even two thousand people we can fit in here, but we cannot, we're not allowed to do. Because with the information we have in Israel now, we can cause an outbreak of Corona between our students, our friends. That is why we do not do it. But obviously the moment it will be ready and justified according to the Ministry of Health so we will have a congress even maybe in the summer maybe in the winter does not matter we will do it.

66. S. (02:32:37) Continuing what we have said about women in regard to dissemination the man is under threat, danger whether it's epidemic or something else. People cannot hear these things when they're under threat and the person has no problems is also uninterested, he's enjoying, so who is our target audience?

R. That is according to a person's desire, it could be that he's under bonding and it could be that he's in the King's Palace and he does not lack anything. It all depends on the person's desire and each and every one of us already has books, writers, friends, events that he can awaken himself and by that shake up his heart and reach connection, the right connections and raise into spirituality each and every one, each and every one.

67. S. (02:34:15) What does it mean that we need to push in order to increase hasten time?

R. That we want to hasten our connection, by connection between us and the Creator. That is it.
