1. Rav’s Introduction: (00:23) Yes, this is actually our goal, reason, each and every one of us has that this is from his will to receive and faith above reason is what we have to develop, the second force of faith which is the force of the Creator and this is what we have to develop in such a way that it will cover for us all our desires and thoughts and vessels of reason. This is what we need to reach. Simply think, want to feel it to be in it. That we are with the ability to reach the revelation of faith that it will be above reason and we want to be connected with the Creator more than to ourselves. So please.

Reading 35 (02:03) “When he wants to do everything for the sake of the Creator…”

Reading 35 again.

2. S. (06:03) How to find that state of putting to death, not to be afraid of that state?

R. When we think about faith above reason we need to depict to ourselves that we become disconnected from the ordinary line of thought and everything is built on distancing from oneself and coming closer to the Creator and this is why our feeling should be that instead of myself I will finally feel how I become incorporated in the Creator and this is how a little bit more and a little bit more I accustom myself to think that I am already inside of the Creator, thinking about Him. The most important is to depict oneself that he is less important than the Creator: that the most important for him is to do the correction in the Creator, the changes in the Creator, to pass himself, to give himself to Him and in this way, time and again he will see how he is being brought closer, how he is being arranged more and more.

3. S. (02:26) How to nevertheless exit this state in which you always feel that you're thinking about yourself about your states. You want to think about the friends but nevertheless you return to that same state that you are thinking only about yourself and your states, your current states, your future state?

R. We can't draw far away for me to but if we nevertheless ask the Creator that he will become more important for us more than ourselves then we can imagine it imagine Him inside of us as the most important, the most primary thing that I'm most constantly concerned about. How else can we explain it full stop, imagine to yourself that you are in the place of a woman of the mother who is holding a baby in her hands and how much she cherishes the baby more than herself. So, in such a way we should depict our connection gradually, our connection with the Creator that we are willing to bestow, to give, to help, to aim everything to him in spite of and against myself and then we will see that in spite of this against myself that we try to fill it will turn out that this is actually our spiritual environment in which we will begin to feel ourselves as liberated from ourselves, free from our ego and we will start to exist in a totally different nature; the nature of bestowal.

S. Nevertheless we need to go through many resistances?

R. Yes but that's bit by bit not at once so it's not so terrible. So we just have to constantly each and every day aim ourselves correctly.

4. S. (12:06) In the passage it speaks of I will never have the strength to overcome the will to receive. Is this strength the same as the desire and that's what we need to ask the Creator for is that the strength is the same as the desire to overcome?

R. Yes, our desire to overcome because we on our own cannot overcome. All of our work is to ascribe ourselves to the Creator to adhere to Him and He by His force will arrange all of the work for us. We truly don't need to even know what's at ahead by what we are doing it and what are the qualities that we have to accept to get in the next stage in our transition from our current qualities to the future qualities, how do we take a step forward but rather all of it in the end the Creator does. The most important for us is to annul and demand.

S. And is that desire the same as the mother feels for the baby that the desired start? And that level of desire needs to become part of our nature and we need to ask the creator for that?

R. Of course it's not the desire of the mother or the desire of the baby but rather it all comes to us from the general inclusive nature and from there only we get it, and we use all of these forces.

5. S. (14:21) How to depict to ourselves precisely the Dvekut with the Creator so that from that state we will be able to limit our thoughts and desires towards ourselves?

R. The Dvekut with the Creator it's better to imagine it to myself in a form of when you simply dissolve in the Creator you do not exist so much so that you are attached to Him that His entire nature permits you. You become acclimated, you fit inside of it, you merge with it, you begin to take on all of his actions as your actions, all of his thoughts as your thoughts, all of His qualities as your qualities.

6. S. (15:48) What's the difference between the force of desire and the force of bestowal?

R. When you have many kinds of desires for and against the will to receive the will to bestow, the force of bestowal that’s the direction of it is clear already because it is directed towards bestowal.

S. We actually learn that the force of bestowal is what advances us in spirituality, right?

R. the force of bestowal advances us in spirituality, yes.

7. S. (16:41) I feel like when we have no choice but to turn to the Creator I feel like He is going to answer us just like you do; you need to connect with your ten. So should the prayer just help me to connect with my ten and this will cover everything when it comes to connecting with the Creator?

R. Yes. Simply it is so but to realize it we implement it that is a bit more difficult, but the formula is actually quite simple. The formula is simple: it is written about that, “make your will as His will.”

8. S. (17:44) Sometimes there are problems at work with the family, sometimes also in the ten. How is it possible to resist or to diminish this resistance of the body which is constant and permanent?

R. To diminish it, it is impossible, it is actually the opposite. The force of the resistance of the body will always be greater and greater. However, we are opposite it, like on a scale, we have to balance it with the importance of the Creator and then it won't be so difficult for us to cope with that disturbing force from the left side.

9. S. (19:14) Although in this excerpt and other articles from the Rabash it is very clearly given us some state and advice relative to it. Together with that it seems that the biggest problem is to diagnose this state in me so I can use counsel. Why is it like that in order to relate correctly to these excerpts? I need to look for this specific thing in me?

R. I see that these source excerpts have a very good order the way they come one after the other so that the people understand them, and they ask questions but what's interesting is that there are those who or there are days when the men ask more and days when the women ask more. There are days when the Spanish speakers ask more, specifically from Europe or from the East. Meaning there is a certain graduality in all of this, a certain order. I don't know how to answer your question exactly, but I would say that these excerpts have a good benefit if you can also read them additionally between you, that would be good.

S. Meaning nevertheless I need to find this state within me-inside the feeling?

R. Yes, you need to become associated within it.

10. S. (21:50) At the beginning of the text he talks of a faith meaning to develop. Can we understand this in a way that a person already asked in his prayer from the Creator and the Creator begins to give the ability to see that all that exists, everything that you touch everything that you think and experience are no more than the greatness of the Creator? If so in the continuation of the text it says to put to death all the authority of self-reception. What is he trying to say that this is a correction that by this a person exits his initial nature and already on to correction to enter the second nature which is bestowal?

R. He doesn't want to feel himself in himself, he wants to feel the Creator. It is as though the Creator exists and the person does not exist at all. This is what he wants to happen.

11. S. (23:32) How to correctly understand this excerpt? Is it me or is it me towards the ten?

R. That's already more complicated. It is easier for you to depict to yourself alone, individually and it is more complicated if you represent the ten and you'll come as their representative but this way or that way, even your assumption is correct, it is both this and that. For example, if you elevate the threshold of your sensitivity to the next level, to the next degree then it means that you are activating on your behalf instead of yourself you are now activating the ten, instead of the ten, one hundred, instead of one-hundred, one-thousand and this is how you just keep on increasing your sensitivity. The sensitivity of your Kli.

12. S. (25:08) We are talking about faith above reason about Lishma. They are all constructions and gifts from the Creator from above. Is it correct to say that this is Ibur from the Creator?

R. Yes. Yes, it's the beginning of Ibur.

S. If we take this example from nature where the sperm cell tries to fertilize the egg then initially the sperm cell is allowed to attach the egg, but it cannot penetrate the membrane it cannot go in it needs to wiggle it needs to put in an additional force to be let into the egg to make this impregnation complete. So what can we translate this in a way to what this means in a way to our spiritual work?

R. We need to let the upper force penetrate through the shell of our ego and to begin there specifically inside of our ego it starts to eat it up, to consume it, to use it and it starts to grow within it. This is what needs to happen.

S. Can we translate this also towards an attack to what we can do together or is this more like individual?

R. Yes, certainly. Yes, this can succeed only on the condition that we will increase our forces towards connection: towards unity.

S. I heard you yesterday say also in addition to the friend from Florida that this is the general formula that we need to aim our prayer as one man in one heart and I heard you yesterday say that we also need to add scrutiny because the Creator wants to know exactly from us what we want.

R. We need to pull the sperm cell so it will enter the egg and this is all through our desire.

13. S. (28:41) What is the difference when we just pray that the Creator changes our nature, or we do some actions to make it happen?

R. To ask of him in any possible style. To ask.

14. S. (29:24) When does one want to do everything for the sake of the Creator?

R. In each degree at the end of the degree he does want to do everything for The Creator but in truth it is only at Gmar Tikkun, I guess because each time uncorrected desires are revealed in him qualities that are not yet directed towards Dvekut with the Creator and this is how he goes forward and it is wonderful that more and more qualities that are not in Dvekut with the Creator are revealed. It is truly a great gift from the Creator who made it all gradual so that we can each time discover where else we can show our inclination towards Him.

15. S. (31:20) To not feel oneself altogether does that mean that instead of himself he relates every good or bad to connection with the ten?

R. No because oneself is already the ten.

S. Meaning there is no difference between him and the ten?

R. Yes, when we speak of what a person feels then we are speaking about his feeling in the ten towards the Creator.

16. S. (31:59) If the will to receive is sent from the Creator for us to advance in spirituality and to change it gradually to a desire for bestowal, why is it written that we need to kill it if so?

R. We just need to invert as it is written to invert meaning that the will to receive works for the purpose of bestowal, for the purpose of connection. Without it we also cannot reach connection between us. We cannot unite all of the created beings together so that way they will be together as one man in one heart. The will to receive is necessary, it is essential.

S. The Torah does not exist but it's only when one puts himself to death over it?

R. Yes, so this is the intention in order to receive so the person has to kill it and instead of it has to arrange a will to receive that has the intention to bestow. We just have to in practice try to perform even a small action and in that we already grasp the taste in it and then we begin a bit more and a little bit more and then we reach the state where it is clear to us what the Torah intends for in our connections.

17. S. (34:30) For days we are talking about faith above reason but unfortunately we cannot enter into its essence. Which type of work do we need to contact to come to a true deficiency and a true demand?

R. We truly need to understand around this concept how much it does not exist within us and how can we get closer to it, what can it be composed of and how will we detect it, locate it. What is this concept of above reason? What is reason, above reason? As much as we surround it, arrange it, revolve around it so that it starts to be ours. It takes time. It takes time and many exercises.

18. S. (36:00) We have two principles, None Else Besides Him and don't believe in yourself until the day you die. From this how can a person carry out any correct scrutiny?

R. I think that there is None Else Besides Him meaning there is nothing beside the Creator, that's the first thing that I imagine to myself that everything that surrounds me, turns me, confuses me, manages me and so on, it is all only the Creator. However, in all types of forms for and against as I am not able to identify Him, to recognize Him that is the first thing and the second thing is that I cannot find ultimately anyone who is going to benefit me, help me, save me, advance me towards a good goal, give me all, do everything good for me besides the Creator. That's it.

19. S. (38:04) What should a person do when there is such a state where you have no forces you don't want anything it's not that I don't want anything I am not capable of anything as it is written that… pulled two sides you feel like you're being torn apart. You want to surrender to the one who is better, who is good. It is simply as if you are watching a film in a theater, a movie theater, and you are being choked, you are being torn into pieces.

R. What can I tell you, it's a very good state you process and just continue working with it. What can I tell you, everything that you receive you receive correctly and at the right time and when you don't have what to respond with, sit and cry, it doesn't matter what to do as long as you respond to the Creator somehow, somewhat. Write Him letters and this way you will scrutinize also a lot from your side from your behalf and His behalf.

20. S. (39:50) What should a person do or feel in a lesson, what should we do or feel outside of a lesson?

R. We need to think about that before the lesson, before the lesson we have time, a lot of time for each and every one to think from one lesson to the next what he needs to come to the next lesson with. What he needs to scrutinize, he may even write this down for himself and with what inner preparation he needs to come to the lesson and then when he comes there he has before him like a checklist where he knows that this is what he needs to scrutinize and it's worthwhile to do so.

S. And I take the feeling of the lesson throughout the day, or will it become renewed?

R. Yes I would recommend so.

21. S. (41:19) If there is None Else Besides Him not if, but if that's a law, it turns out that when a person feels himself in this egoistic feeling of himself it turns out that it is a lie, and the truth is that he does not feel himself. I start to feel myself in the true form only when I begin to feel the Creator?

R. Yes, to feel myself in the Creator.

S. But from here appears this eternal question. If I have the evil inclination within me and I feel myself in the Creator so who am I then?

R. You are nothing.

S. So who's the one that feels?

R. You are given a certain feeling. How should I say it? A false sensation. You are still nothing. That's why you cannot feel something like this. What you are being given is being given to you to push you forward like a baby as long as he grows up.

S. What does it mean that a person feels himself inside the Creator?

R. This means that there is the upper one who carries out within him everything, controls everything, manages everything. Also his intentions, also the thoughts of a person and the person needs to simply try and respond to this correctly. If he manages to sustain himself in such a thought of all coming to him from the Creator.

S. This feeling of myself eventually, you know you said to the friend that I need to disappear to dissolve and then only the Creator will remain, so I feel myself, this self is that the upper self that feels it?

R. I'm not talking about the upper or the lower. I'm talking about the person stopping to feel himself as one who exists and controls and all that's within him and defines who he is, that too.

22. S. (44:24) Sometimes we feel that we are in faith above reason but most of the time we feel the fear that we will not attain that. So the question is should we accept what the Creator is presenting to us?

R. We certainly need to receive what the Creator places before us. Yes.

23. S. (45:02) There used to be a feeling when I had internal or external blows I used to be happy because I have some sort of hope or belief that It came to me in order to elevate me couple more states near the Creator, it use to give me hope and confidence that even if everything seem worse there is something internal that will make everything shine and burn. But over time I feel that I lost it, or the Creator took it from me, I feel myself in the complete danger surrounded by hate, jealousy, criticism in all dimensions of life. It is like the whole world, all the world, everything is against me and I'm fighting alone, I'm fighting everything alone, nothing is supporting me, I don't have a rock to lie on, no upper providence, no upper mercy. What can you suggest?

R. I would suggest for you that all these new impressions that you are having also connect to the Creator, first of all. And, to be connected to them as tight a way as possible and ascribe them to the Creator only, and then you will see what to answer onwards.

24. S. (47:31) My prayer is not right for sure and it is not heard by the Creator, so I should believe that he will give me faith above the reason that this body of mine that wants to receive dies?

R. Your body, your will to receive, will not die but rather it will remain as is and through its connection with the intention of in order to bestow, you will really be able to fill it in a new way fully.

25. S (48:22) Should we know when we need to push or pull the ten to faith above reason or to simply allow it to happen as something that happens from above?

R. It comes from above of course. It derives from above.

S. He's asking, if they should push the ten on their own or just assume that this is something that happens from above and there's no need for them to be involved actively?

R. No, we need to. They need to come to a state where they will operate together with the Creator and what the upper force wants from them, and to do it. This work is divided into several stages and if in the first stage they appear passive then in the second stage they already feel from themselves that they need to enter into more and more purposeful actions and to activate themselves more and more. Then they turn to the Creator and ask strength from Him and demand involvement from Him; that the Creator will move forward and pull them with Him.

26. S (50:16) How should we imagine to ourselves that we have become annulled and put ourselves to death in order to feel ourselves bestowing to the Creator, is there some kind of self-inspection so that we will know if this is the correct feeling?

R. To place myself means that there are no desires in me for myself. Meaning I, in an absolute matter destroyed and demised myself and what remains in me is just the desire to bestow that with that I adhere to the Creator and ask Him to fill it up, that I will have something to bestow to the Creator, and by that we grow. This means “to put myself to death”. I adhere like a baby to my mother; I hug her and don’t enable disconnection from her and all that is in me is only her. Meaning all my feelings, all that is in me is only from me adhering to her and receiving from her. I think that it's very clear to everyone and that is it.

27. S. (52:22) I realize that the more I demand from the Creator the stronger my will to receive becomes bigger even though we are trying to get out of ourselves, so why is my will to receive getting stronger and blogger?

R. Because you need your egoistic desire either in the direction of good or in the bad; it does not matter in what direction, but it must constantly grow all the time. If we put it in the society into the right environment than it, in this environment it grows correctly, in the right way; and is ready to receive in order to bestow from the correct environment in order to connect himself to this environment. And if not, then eventually he’ll receive more and more until he falls. This is what we call Nefel, a miscarriage, medically speaking.

28. S. (54:12) What does it mean he falls or miscarriage on abortion, there is a descent?

R. No this is not a descent. It is a birth accident, in which the fetus stops receiving from the mother and dies.

S. What to do to avoid it?

R. To adhere to the friends and through the friends to the Creator.

29. S. (54:55) A question about faith above reason in the ten, when we come to connection, let's say there's a meeting and we want internally to connect and fill the friends, and when we feel the coarseness we first of all put it aside and try to connect to the smallest point of connection with the friends or I work on top of the coarseness without canceling it at all?

R. I do not cancel the coarseness. I also cannot cancel it: coarseness is a matter of creation and I'm not in charge of it. I can only pray to the Creator and ask how to work with it.

S. So what is the matter of forcibly having to reach the annulment in the ten?

R. Annulment in the ten is when we want to work with all of our desires, thoughts, and intentions only in order to bestow, through the friends to the Creator.

S. Is this the first stage in a connection?

R. Yes, that is the first stage.

S. In order to carry out that action with the friends I need to connect with them somehow, I need to feel them close to my heart? Reaching such a feeling as the common heart, how do we reach it if first there is a resistance along the way, there is a distance between me and the friends, how do I cover up these coarseness, how do you come to a common heart, with which steps?

R. You can reach it by understanding that without one another you cannot save yourself , a prisoner cannot release himself from prison, that is why we each care for the other so that the friends will not run and fall from the path, and this is how we come out of it, by holding on to one another.

S. So, the feeling that we have, of distance at the beginning of the work, we leave it, and we simply try to get help from the friends and overcome it and give the same help to the friends. Is this how we begin the connection?

R. Yes, and this distancing in the beginning is not distancing, it is corporeal, we need to add to this a spiritual connection; where we truly belong to one desire, to one Soul, to one Creator, to one vessel: That we are the center of the Adam HaRishon, the first men and there we need to be connected to one another, dependent on one another and so on.

30. S. (58:25) When the person begins to feel himself inside of the Creator he feels these forces, these states that are described as Egypt and the exodus from Egypt, the Red Sea, he begins to feel it in such a clear way that he has no doubts?

R. Yes, yes, yes.

31. S. (59:08) What is the state when a person for the first time discovers that he does not have inside of him besides hatred and for the first time he is disgusted with himself?

R. Yes, that is good, that is good that he feels it that way. This points to the truth of his state, he's being revealed, his will to receive, and in what way he is in and how we can begin to work with it and against that he begins to understand, to locate who to turn to, what to ask for and this is how we advance.

32. S. (1:00:05) You said to a previous friend that all of the states that he is going through he should ascribe them to the Creator. I understand that you mean the prayer because it happens to me as well so I did not quite understand, should we ask to remain in that state or to change these states?

R. To change all the states and never want to remain in a state that he is in but rather more and more to be drawn to the end of correction even if he is at the beginning of the path and this is how his work is.

33. S. (1:01:02) If one feels in the middle of those two forces, the will to receive and the will to bestow in complete infinite harmony, how do you get out of this state and not get stuck?

R. I think that by constantly wanting to see his vessel, his general vessel that is in the center of care by the Creator and the way that the Creator cares for the group and he is constantly concerned with the balance of this vessel for it to be in the center then with certainty he will care for that each time.

34. S. (1:02:35) I have a question about the source excerpt we read. There is a sentence there that a person should turn to the Creator and say that now I have come to a state where I see that unless you help me I am lost. What is this state? What is this feeling that I'm lost? Where does it come from? If I'm always ready that my friends will be rewarded ahead of me, why should I be in a state that I am lost?

R. A person cannot be in a state where he is not dependent on some forces because he finds himself between them, he finds himself and he defines the this is how I am this way or that way meaning here we are talking about a state that if a person loses his attitude towards the forces that are stabilization him right now then he's truly between Heaven and Earth, he has nothing to rely on. This is not with one's intellect this is also in the feeling and then in everything that happens to him, the main thing is the physical feeling, the mental feeling; therefore, what we need is to constantly feel ourselves working with the Creator in some order, each time a new order that we want, each time to change our states such that the Creator will always be in our center.

35. S. (1:04:54) A few questions have come up in our ten about the example of the sperm cell and the egg, what is the sperm cell that we need to pull.

R. We do not need to pull it or attract it if we arrange the environment in the right way this sperm itself answers the call of the egg and it has the forces to penetrate and begin to grow in her.

S. What is the egg through which the sperm has to penetrate through?

R. That is the will to receive that is ready to give all that he has to the sperm and by this the sperm grows.

S. This sperm, is that the ten that penetrates into the quality of bestowal?

R. Correct.

36. S. (1:06:28) In this place of the transition to Lishma when the person puts to death his will to receive, is there some letting go of your control, you simply devote yourself to the upper force and let it control me?

R. Yes.

S. So should some fear appear here from this loss of control?

R. No, it is not a must, it all depends on the environment.

S. Because in the will to receive there are very strong instincts, to take care of my family, to care for what is important to me, what happens with these concerns when the ego dies?

R. It all depends on the connection with the environment.

37. S. (1:07:17) Naturally it seems that the will to receive is my individual matter and creation, the force of bestowal, is a general matter so my question is, does the will to receive also belong to some general force let say this whole resistance that keeps growing, or every correction we make does it also enter into some general account which is not just individual and this is why this whole entrance is so prolonged or should we focus just on the individual thing and see it this way? Hopefully, it’s clear.

R. I did not understand exactly.

S. Is the will to receive inside of us a part of some general force so that every correction, as it says here in the excerpt, that there is resistance and we reach surrender and the plea to completely devote ourselves so does this place belong to the individual part of a person or does it join some general system of the will to receive that seemingly is the force of creation that the force of bestowal then takes care of?

R. I do not know what to tell you. I can’t get a grip on your question, maybe someone else can help me?

S. Maybe she means to ask is each and every correction individual or by me, when I correct something individual I also correct something in the general will to receive?

R. Of course, that is how we do it.

S. Yes, this is the right direction, but the question is also when one of us succeeds in the ten to truly reach a dialog with the Creator in such surrender, such devotion, does he contribute to the correction and the ten and then the whole thing also contributes to the correction of humanity? The very fact that all the time, in every state again again we come back to this style of the correction of the will to receive opposite the Creator, does this belong to the general correction, is this why it is so prolonged, is this why we always have the…?

R. Well of course it has to do with the general correction, of course everything as we say all the books and notebooks are filled and note pads are filled, it’s all the general correction, it is all accumulating over there.

S. So when does a person reach a state of individual correction when you always belong to the general correction?

R. Along the way, just like we learn in school, first grade, second grade, third grade etc. they get joined together to the final grade.

38. S. (1:11:02) When the state of one of the friends becomes clearly felt like the state of the friend from another ten for instance, how do we respond to such a state, do we add it to our prayer or do we begin to pray for his ten, or the women have to pray for the men?

R. We have to enter more inwards to scrutinize that state and see how we can relate to it but after we ourselves understand the situation.

39. S. (1:12:38) What do we do in states when you are in such a strong hatred towards the environment that I cannot control it, I’m captivated by it?

R. I do not know, I do not know. I think that we need to give ourselves a break of some sorts. The best, most beneficial, is to call upon all the friends and to do some meal, workshop and this way emerge from the state.

40. S. (01:13:44) How to agree with a condition the Creator brings us and to see them as the exact means for corrections? Sometimes it seems that the prayer makes you go deeper into the ego, and I wait for the Creator to change my state.

R. This helps nevertheless to at least hasten times.

41. S. (01:14:11) How much should I go along with annulment in a ten if a friend does not follow the guidelines of the Kabbalists of how to work in the ten?

R. I do not know, for some reason I stopped understanding these questions.
