We thought the Corona was over and that things were getting back to normal. However, the Indian Delta variant, which is more highly contagious than the previous viruses, reared its head and we found ourselves straight into another wave of Corona. Due to this the Ministry of Health decided that the wearing of masks would be mandatory again, both in closed and open public places. In my opinion we Israelis made the mistake of being too hasty in opening travel abroad so soon, in the face of a plague raging in the world. We should close the borders, allowing only emergency entrance and exits.The question should be asked as to why we made this mistake? I don’t think that it's about flying abroad or the matter of protecting Israeli borders so that this variant won't come in. I think that the problem is that we're simply developing from within ourselves. It seems to us as though it's coming from the outside, but because of our separation, because of our hate, because of the way we reject each other, we're making room for these viruses to erupt from deep within our egoistic gut. This mechanism works such that man's evil is revealed in this manner from a person outward. There's nothing that comes from the outside and this applies to the public in general and to no one specifically. Due to this egoistic quality, we all need to start coming closer to one another in an altruistic manner, for the benefit of others. Unfortunately, the public at large is not doing this. And therefore, all those parts, all those relations that need to be connecting us in a good way, are instead taking on a new, unpleasant form. This is how they are being felt and seen to be behaving between us. This hatred between us is being disclosed in this way. The whole world is suffering under this pandemic, and we are seeing that not even the vaccine can diminish its impact. What does this have to do with the hate that exists between humanity, even prior to the coronavirus? Nature wants to show us that we are not correctly connecting with each other. And therefore, it confines us to our homes, to our countries, not allowing us the freedom to connect as the connection between us is egoistic. We can’t keep extorting from one another this way at the expense of others, thinking only of my benefits. Do you relate to nature as an educator, such that nature does what it needs to do regardless of what we are doing? We spoke about this almost two years ago, in the beginning of the first wave of the Corona, you were saying back then, that it would continue with higher frequency, shorter periods of time, like a wave again and again until nature through “blows” will teach us to rethink how we are living, till we learn what we need to do. We need to understand that nature is demanding us to build new relations, new attitudes between us of mutual consideration, that of coming closer to one another. It's not about wearing masks or keeping social distance. The reason we don't see the connection between the virus and between people is because these are two different levels of desires within man. We don't want to see that the solution is in the desire and the relations and the connections between us and love. We are paying no attention to it, to the simple fact that love, mutual consideration and connection can save us. We don't feel the connection and no matter how much the wisdom of Kabbalah talks about it repeatedly, people don't want to accept it. Because it's against our ego.
